Famous Pizza???? Worst pizza I have ever had in my life. And what makes it worst is I was craving pizza all day and decided to give this place a try since a friend of mine recommended me this place. First the dough was too thick and soggy as hell. The sauce had no flavor, the cheese was moshy like chewing bubble gum. Who ever thinks this pizza is good need slap up side the head with that pizza. I'm from NY and this is an insult to Pizza. Save your money folks.

This place is decent. I really am on a search to find a good non chain pizza joint that serves up a good house salad. The salad I am very happy with. The pizza however is a little hit or miss. One time I ordered it and it was amazing. I don't remember if I was just starving or what? But we had it tonight and the pizza was just ehh!! Kind of flavorless and the crust got hard. Not sure why or how their pizza can be so inconsistent but it is. I hope they can keep it together because the price point is good and it's convenient. Also there is no flavor to the garlic knots or bread sticks whichever. Why? They look loaded with cheese and seasoning so I can't figure out why they seem so bland. booooo!!!

Decent place for a slice and better than the chain joints. Don't expect much if you eat in. Minimal space and seating. Good take out or delivery options. Get the Gabagol.

Used to be a lot better. The place really needs to be cleaned up inside. Chicken pram sub is good. Slices at lunch are a decent deal.

The first time I ordered a pizza from Famous it was super yummy, so I decided to try it again, but get a sub. I waited around 45 mins for them to make it (steak sub) and it was super skimp on meat. I gave them another chance a few weeks ago and ordered a XL cheese pizza plus and a few subs for delivery. It took them an hour and a half to get to my house, which is about a mile away. The subs rolls where stale, there was hardly any meat on the sandwich, and the cheese pizza was cold and bland. I will not be ordering Famous again. Man, they really went down hill!

worst italian sub EVER, all bread, tomatoes and oil, the meat was almost brown I threw the whole thing out. . I was hoping for better since I was more than satisfied at the one in St. Pete, but this place was dingy and dark, and the food was sub par. I wont be going back.

Eh, not so much. Wings and Greek salads achieve a passing but as for pizza, there are many other places where you'll find authentic pies closer to the real NJ, NYC thing.

We order from them regularly although the pizza is okay. They need to rethink how they treat their regular customers -- may have to find a new place to order from in the area. If anybody out there uses coupon deals, just an FYI -- they are petty on honoring the coupon deals no matter how much you order from them.

This is a decent place where we can pick up some pie on the way back from work. Good, not extraordinary, with good prices. Meets the "A-Ok" category.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century.
