Sources tell me The W.H. is best experienced past midnight and under the influence. Later, perhaps. For now, under the antiseptic light of noon, I eat my Texas Bacon Patty Melt, leaving aside the waterlogged, half-cooked hash browns. The waitress is nice, and calls me Hon. Perhaps I shall return some late night in search of a waffle to ease my tortured stomach.

Yelp, this is a good one! I happen to like going to this one and if Kyle were upfront doing the coffee, it would be the Bee's Knees! But, they lost Kyle when it got slow and apparently, have not been able to rehire him back. That is a true sadness. Our family loved him! We go to this one every Sunday as our Sunday ritual before Meadowbrook Church. Our eggs are perfect-o, hash browns are brown, and the coffee is yummy! I give this a four-star review!!! It would have been 5 with Kyle at the front of the store and I am sure that even the employees would have agreed as they wonder about him too. BRING BACK KYLE! BRING BACK KYLE! #FlauntNow Family. The food was very good. Peach waffles were delicious! Choc. Chip waffles good but they were just sprinkled on top, not in the waffles.

This is at the top of the Waffle houses I have visited! I have been to many locations of this chain, at all hours of the day, in all kinds of conditions. Our experence at this location was easily one of the best. My burger was done right, the coffe was fresh and hot, and the hash browns were scattered and smothered perfectly. My wife's eggs were exactly right, the hash browns were ringed like they should have been. So many places forget that little detail and just scatter the browns. This is a location I am going to remember when I am on the road, going north out of FL. That says a lot for the great job this Waffle house did.

Visited today, ordered, just started eating when a cockroach climbed up the wall behind the table. ..Now this is Florida, everyone here knows palmettos( aka huge assed flying cockroaches) ... normally outside. It's Florida, we get that is pretty normal, thats why florida is like Jurassic park for bugs... but this was a German cockroach, you see one, there are millions you don't see.. Needless to say I lost my appetite. So, Informed a server about it. .. it had now rounded the corner of the wall but she dutifully hunted it down and with the bravery of a warrior teddy bear engaged in battle and beat it to death. This was slightly entertaining. Then went about her business. .seemed like this was a routine thing. no hand washing that I seen. Asked another server to see the management. Manager was nice woman and apologized for the incident, then went on to explain she was aware of the problem but had recently had an exterminator out. Also mentioned that this is done once a month. Well obviously they are not being effective! I left. Jeasousss people get your shit together! The one star is because I don't get to post comments without a rating.

This is the cleanest WH we have ever seen. The food is good and satisfying. The normal people are here for breakfast--hardworking people who want American fare. They always welcome the customers with a good morning shout out as they walk through the door.
