The staff in the early mornings is always so polite despite always being overwhelmed with patrons waiting for their orders. I don't even mind waiting. The great staff keeps me coming back.

I really like the location of this Starbucks. I am not a huge coffee drinker any more but my wife is, yet there are items on their menu for both of us. Most importantly, we could eat right outside or at the nearby public area downtown.

Service is okay- nothing wonderful. We all know what Starbucks coffee is like so I won't bother to review the coffee. I will review this particular Starbucks. We used to enjoy going and sitting outside in the morning. And herein lies my biggest complaint with this particular Starbucks. They removed all the seating outside, because they were too weak to control that smokers that were not supposed to be smoking so close to the cafe. So instead of enforcing the non smoking rule, they lost a great number of customers. I'm pretty much done with the chain anyway. They are big supporters of not labeling GMO's. I'm sorry, but when you charge as much as you do for coffee, you can buy fair trade coffee that is organic. Monsanto loves you! Me, not so much.

Coffee must need "getting used to". Harsh. The Managment is either without a clue, or .... Ofter, the line at the cashier is 6 or more, and no secodn cashier. The side door is always locked, meaning if you walk up from that direction, ya got to walk around to the front. I guess they are trying to keep the outdoor bums out. They removed the outdoor tables, probably as an anti bum effort. IMO, it is not worth the hastle.

Bathrooms are " locked for the night we have port a potty outside." No signage stating this. meanwhile my son waited the rest room door thinking it was in use. Their Oven was closed as well? Why do they ask for my name and then call out orders but no name attached. I finally realized my order was complete, after one of the associates made a comment better get it before its gone. Another customer informed them they where out of napkins that same associate made a comment I guess she didn't want a napkin because the customer had left. Other wise it was great . Staff handled 4th of July traffic like a champ overall. I would recommend you relax the closing at 9 pm customers outside. Many were upset on a day like this with so much traffic.

Yes, I am a fan just like the 99%... I say that with a great sigh... The only problem is that my pocket book is not a fan of the price of Fourbucks... er. I mean, Starbucks. It's quite expensive to go. I have had to take our four mortgages to be able to enjoy the seasonal drinks. I have over extended myself on my credit cards and prostituted on four corners in Slow-Cala, FL to get the smoothie for my daughters. I know this seems like an exaggeration, but it's true. LOL. This is the best Starbucks hands down! I've been coming every morning since October 2013. The employees are super sweet. I have never had to wait longer than a couple of minutes for my drinks. I don't know why I see other reviews complaining about a long wait. Maybe they came on an off day. If you aren't happy with your drink they will make another one. Beautiful store and clean restrooms!

Lol, I unfortunately went here a few times before I found Chelsea Coffee... So far the only REAL coffee in Ocala that I'm aware of. I moved here from the NW, so obviously I actually know the difference between good coffee & diner swill. Sadly, there's no Stumptown to be found this side of the Mississippi, but I did, as I said, find a joint that has almond milk instead of soy, actually fresh made naturally flavored whip cream, etc. It is a bit sad, amusing, & bewildering that unlike my former home, where Starbucks is considered the boring, lame, safe, yuppie overpriced soul-less coffee that it truly is- apparently here, suffering from lack of choice, people have convinced themselves that there's something upscale or classy about a generic cup of Starbucks. *shakes head sadly* Try getting out, y'all... for serious.

My boyfriend and I stop here almost daily and they are always quick with our order. Iced green tea, no added water, no sugar for me and a venti skinny mocha with an extra shot of expresso for him.

I frequent this location and have yet to have a bad experience with any of the baristas/staff. One evening my friends and I were sitting outside when different groups of people started to smoke (not allowed, Starbucks policy plus state law); the manager(?) and (later on after mgr stepped out) another employee, politely, put a stop to that. Plus this is one of the few locations that hasn't screwed up my fave - chai latte :)

Hey, this is a really nice Starbucks with a great facility; however, it's been taken over by lots of what appear to be homeless people sleeping in the chairs and face down on the tables. Had to leave there this morning because of the body odor of some of these guys. Pretty unpleasant. Food & drink is great (they get a "5" for those), but the manager isn't taking care of the ambiance, that's for sure (-3 for that). Stop in for coffee to go only. The manager needs to wake up and remember that Starbucks isn't the Salvation Army.

I frequent Starbucks on the Square in Downtown Ocala, and always enjoy the ambiance and great coffee. The 'Fall flavors' are being added now, so next time I'll deviate from my Iced coffee with sugar-free syrup and 'think pumpkin.'

I am sitting in starbucks waiting for light up Ocala I came in for a cup of coffee so I could relax before the crowd hits. There is no one in here except for three people sitting down. As usual the coffee is very good but the service sure leaves a lot to be desired. I stood behind two people waiting to take an order and I waited and waited and waited while there was at least five people behind the counter just standing around doing nothing but talking to each other about anything but business. That is why I am giving it three stars. It has been awhile since I have been here. I usually go to the one on hwy. 200 by Dillards. The service there was exceptional.

The all new downtown Starbucks! Welcome! This spacious version of the ubiquitous chain is a great addition to the Square. In my humble opinion. It's the perfect place to work on your laptop, chat with friends, or drop in for a frapuccino. Of course, the Starbucks employees are friendly and helpful, probably because Starbucks treats their employees right. My only complaint is that the cashiers seem to have little knowledge of espresso drinks, like macchiatos, americanos, etc. Explaining that a double (doppio) macchiato does not fit into their tall, grande, venti size system is a little annoying.
