The Seven Sisters Inn was a marvelous find and a perfect romantic getaway. The rooms are exquisitely themed and detailed. The owners, Bob and Maria, were enthusiastic and completely accommodating hosts. They handled our late arrival with ease, and suggested wonderful local restaurants, both upscale and hole-in-the-wall. The breakfasts were delicious and very generous. I had to have the egg puff recipe! The inn hosted a mystery dinner theater event one night of our stay, but they were very careful to make sure we had everything we needed and invited us to come through the event if we liked, or to use a back staircase to avoid the party. They were very thoughtful and the party was absolutely no bother to us at all. The local Farmer's Market was fun and a lovely walk from the inn. I sincerely appreciate that the innkeepers offered us room in the fridge to store our purchases and leftovers from dinner. The endless complimentary beverages were also a generous touch. Silver Springs (now a state park) is a short drive and the glass-bottomed boats were well worth the time and money (bring the flyer from the inn for a discount). There are little details everywhere, and if you like houses with a story, or antiques, or beautiful decor, or themed furnishing, or delicious food, or, like me, all of the above, you will adore this place. We can't wait to come back. This was easily our best B&B stay in the US, and one of my favorites ever. Bob and Maria and Maria will take good care of you!

My friends and I attended The Paranormal Experience Event held there on January 24, 2015 and it was a waste of good money @ $50 per ticket. This was a public relations gimmick to view a screening of a poorly produced film under the guise of meeting a panel of "experts" in the paranormal investigative field. The whole venue was a gimmick to get patrons to attend their inn. Upon arrival we discovered that there were selling the same tickets for $25 per person because they were unable to sell the venue! When we confronted the owner/event coordinator Maria Schmidt we were told we would be compensated at a later date with a $25 gift certificate to the Seven Sisters Inn each. Totally disgusted with the handling of the whole event! Buyer Be Aware!!, if they handle a small event in such an unprofessional manner, I would definitely hold off in giving them any Inn business!!

I attended the Masque of the Red Death event last weekend. what a waste of time and money. For $45 bucks a pop, it should have been better organized. Not even the beauty of the house could save that fiasco. I was shocked considering the other event reviews were favorable. This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review on Yelp but the whole ever was so upsetting that I wouldn't want anyone to go thru that.

I booked the 'Paris room'. My girlfriend absolutely loved the decor . The Inn is a great weekend getaway. Bob is the perfect host and took the time to show us the whole house . There are complimentary beverages and a refrigerator and wine cooker to store your personal items. Breakfast was more than ample and delicious ..well worth the experience .

This is up there with my all time favourite hotels. We stayed there over New Years a couple of years ago and the whole thing was a fantastic experience. The hotel is made up of a number of different themed rooms each representing a different country. We stayed in the India room, which was decked out with authentic Indian furniture and lavishly decorated. The staff and owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating and the food was also pretty good. I would definitely reccommend this place to anyone who was visiting Ocala.

Don't bother trying to get in here for breakfast, if you are a local and not staying there. They try to say they 'accept' locals, but then they make you jump thru so many hoops (and want you to pay for your breakfasts upfront at time of reservation....) well it's just not worth it! (plus i think i can recall, it was like 25+ bucks for one breakfast, which was only 2 courses! (fruit and an entree--on the same plate!) For that price, I should be able to get the whole chicken, not just her eggs! LOL

My husband and I have wanted to stay at The Seven Sister's Inn for a few years but have not had an occasion to visit Ocala until this weekend. Luckily for us, an event popped up in Ocala and we found ourselves there for one night stay. We were elated to secure a room at this Bed and Breakfast and were not disappointed at all. You really have to see this place to believe it. It's victorian meets eclectic in the very best way. All of the rooms are themed: Madrid, Casablanca , Paris, Cairo and Beijing. Trust me when I tell you that the rooms are so well appointed, the minute you close your suite door, you feel like you have truly escaped. We stayed in the Cairo room, which was of course Egyptian themed. Our room was quite large with a fireplace and was true to theme with walls meant to look like a pyramid with hieroglyphics and all. Cobra bedposts, Nefertiti, Sphinx and life size sarcophagus... I could continue on and on. And then the bathrooms! Truly something to behold. The tile and paint work is amazing and you will wonder where they found some of the fixtures, sinks, toilets, etc. Surely nothing here came from Home Depot! And the King Size bed was very comfortable for us. The rest of the Inn is equally impressive. There is a beautiful parlor and dining area as well as a decked out restaurant grade kitchen. You really could just come here for a weekend and never leave the premises. Bob the owner was absolutely delightful to us and provided a wonderful breakfast. In addition they offered a variety of refreshments during the stay. If you are looking for a real escape for a few days, I suggest booking here. I can't imagine that anyone would ever be less than impressed. I know that we will surely be back soon for another local Florida escape. the Seven Sister's Inn is truly one of Central Florida's hidden gems.

Not only is this a unique hotel worth even going to check out, the owners are the ones who make this hotel magical. The room we stayed in was the Cairo suite. At first I have to say I was worried that it would be over the top cheesy, but the hotel itself and this amazing room is top notch. It's just perfect. I cannot wait to go back and spend more time here and with the owners. I wish I could have just stayed.

Great place to stay. Owners are very nice and willing to work with you. Ignore the angry one star... she was not staying here and is just being pissy. The B&B experience is wonderful! It is a shame that Yelp let that woman treating this place like a mere eatery drop the rating score.

I stayed in the Madrid room. It was adorned with all sorts of interesting decorations, a four-post bed, an in-room bath. The bathroom had a copper sink, a towel warmer and a shower large enough for two. The included breakfast was incredibly delicious. The amount of food was generous -- three courses that kept me full until dinner. I will definitely be stopping by this place again if I have another excuse to take a trip across Florida.
