Great ice cream. Cash only. They weren't able to break a large bill of mine for the ice cream. They were about just have me give an IOU...couldn't believe it. I scrounged up about a dollar short of the total and they took it no problem. Rare customer service you don't see nowadays. Will go back again for sure.

Scoops is an old time ice cream parlor serving up some delicious treats. The three of us came here the other night and were so impressed by this family run ice cream place. Everyone was so friendly and happy. I've taken several pictures of the inside. It really is a throwback ice cream parlor to another period. Prices were also very reasonable and the taste of the ice cream was excellent. If you find yourself driving through south Ocala along FL 200, I would highly recommend a stop. You will be surprised, as we were by the experience. Enjoy

Wow, one scoop of ice cream is super huge and the taste is truly amazing. Felt like I was back home at an ice cream place that made homemade ice cream. Very delicious and will continue here from now on.

I'd love to leave a review about the ice-cream, but sadly you do not take credit cards for the expensive treats. Come on, it's 2013, folks, you are extremely busy and you boast the awards on your door how about a nice sign CASH ONLY to go along with that. Thank God I didn't have my kids with me for utter disappointment. Get a swipe. The fees aren't that bad. You charge $2.65 for ONE SCOOP you can afford it, just saying. Or put a sign and be cheap. Better communication for customers.

I love going here whenever I am in town. Quaint little ice cream shop. Varied flavors with yummy ice cream. My only complaint is that the space is too small. They are cash only but I usually take it to go and like to support local businesses. ( I just hope I remember to bring cash when I go there)
