The OG is the first slider. Actually Royal Castle, Burger Castle and White Castle were all part of the phenom also. When you need something small to tie you over between meals this .75 four bite steamed goodness hits the spot. I hear a sack full in a drunken stupor does the body well also. The drive thru is always slow even if there's 2 cars but going inside will get you quick service. Either way they're always polite and helpful. I particularly love the shake of the month. It's always different and it's always unique and good. Take the survey in the back of your receipt for free food. Free Wi-Fi is a plus!

Well, after eating so many of their pre-packaged goodies out of vending machines, I finally got to try a real Krystal Burger. They're often compared to White Castle, which I can see. The burgers are very similar in size. The food was pretty good. Everything was very fresh. But that's a pretty generic review, lets break it down: So I got "The Sampler" which is basically a bit of everything Krystal sells. A Krystal Burger, Krystal Chik, Corn Pup, Chili Cheese Pup, fries (which I converted to chili cheese), and a drink. Krystal Burger: This thing is GOOD. Sure it's small, but it has great flavor. The steamed in onions are really tasty. Condiments were mustard and a pickle. Just enough. Krystal Chik: Um. Reminded me of a McChicken Sandwich from McDonald's. I wasn't really into this sandwich. Lots of mayo and a pickle. Chicken inside was good, I'm just not a fan of this type of sandwich. Corn Pup: A corn dog. A cute and tiny corn dog. The batter had a different texture compared to most corn dogs I've had. A little more gritty/crunchy than most. BUT, it was still good. I enjoyed it. Chili Cheese Pup: Again, a cute and tiny chili cheese dog. Possibly the highlight of the meal though. The chili was GOOD. And so was the cheese...but they put MUSTARD in it. And that REALLY kicked the taste up quite a bit. It was REALLY, REALLY, good. Chili Cheese Fries: Again, the chili/mustard combo gave these some really good flavor. VERY enjoyable. Service wise, I was very surprised. Everyone was very friendly and they were welcoming every customer who came in and thanked every customer who left after eating. I even witnessed a customer and employee just conversating about things. Nothing important, just some random stuff. Service was quick as well, and I enjoyed that. Overall I'd give this a 4 star. I'm a big fan, except for that Krystal Chik sandwich...
