We go to Cody's every 2 or 3 weeks. The last time we went, I got the grilled chicken sandwich...comes with cheese and bacon (I ordered it without the bacon), and it was awesome! Tender, juicy, and tons of flavor. It was by far the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. Fries were hot and fresh also. Service could be a little better...I would of given it four stars if the service was better. We love the salads at Cody's, and try to order so that it comes with our meal. Does not come with the sandwiches though, unless you pay extra.

Ok, I don't understand what all the rage was about this place before. Their food is mediocre at best. Nothing great. I ordered a burger with fries. It was ok. No seasoning, no great cheese on top. My husband has made better at home. There was nothing zippy or anything that stood out. For the 5 of us we spent $46. It was NOT worth it. We won't be going back.

I really like Cody's Roadhouse salad with garlic ranch dressing! Had the early bird prime rib which was an 8 ounce, and had some grizzle on it. Baked potato was fresh and good. Will eat here again and try something different next time.

An additional star from the previous review because as roadhouse food goes it's halfway decent. The service is still subpar and since my last review the prices have increased drastically and the portions have gotten smaller. If you're sitting at the bar I would advise against the bar food menu. The prices seem good but when the food arrives you'll see the portion is small and not worth it.

Went there Sun night and the service was horrible! They we're so worried about 35 top that was coming..they almost made us feel bad to stay and eat!! But we stayed and I wish we wouldn't have. The service sucked and the only thing that was good we're the yummy rolls and sweet butter!! Yum..we did wait at least 20 min for these those which sucks when you have a hungry 2 year old. Not going back ever!!

Service was bad. Used garlic salt in mashed potatoes. Food oversalted. Wasn't asked what kind of salad dressing I wanted on the salad. Waitress said she would refill my drink and never brought me a refill. Sad place to go to and definitely not worth the money disappointed altogether.

Good food & fast service! Waiter was stopping by frequently checking on us. Only problem was the bathroom was disgustingly dirty, counters wet with towels, pee all over the floor. If it wasn't for the bathroom I was going to give 4 stars maybe 5, but lucky to give 3

Fun place. Lots of people waiting for dinner - but everyone was pleasant. We got seated shortly -in a little side room that really made us feel disconnected from the rest of the diners. When our salad came - I took a bite and felt something hard. It was a 1/4 inch square piece of metal...IN MY SALAD! I told the server - and she told the manager. The manager came over to tell us that he thought it was a piece broken off of his printer! THEN he asked if I was alright. There was no offer of compensation for my scare - or disappointment. The server did ask if I wanted anymore salad...uh, NO! I wish I could say the rest of the meal made up for a rough start - but it was just average. I don't think we will be going back to the Ocala Cody's.

Not impressed with anything we had here. Previous reviews say the salad was great but my family didn't think so. Our waiter clearly had too many tables and our service was really slow. The food was okay but nothing exceptional. My husband said the ribs were okay but the sauce wasn't good. I wouldn't go back especially after seeing the price I paid for a meal we all felt disappointed over.

Cody's has definitely gone downhill!! The food basically was barely edible, the salad made us all sick for a couple days with the runs and throwing up. Basically a crap establishment that needs help. More people at the bar than at tables when we visited the day before Valentines Day. We all got the special with a free glass of champagne. When asking the waiter at least 5 times, everytime he went "oh you want the glass of champagne". No we asked for shits and giggles, yes we wanted the champagne. By the time we asked the 6th time only the wife wanted it since we were driving. We wanted it before the meal but I digress. And they don't have sugar substitutes so diabetics you are screwed. No splenda, sweet and low or Equal. The whole restaurant ran out of artificial sweeteners. This place is a joke which I decided to try again after over a year ago when they screwed up that special occasion. Never again Logans or Outback is far better than this place.

Wow. This was bad. The staff was very friendly, but fairly incompetent. The food was god awful. Even the onion rings (which hello? 6 bucks for 8 nasty onion rings with truly horrible sauce?) were awful. The hamburger had zero flavor, even with cheese, grilled onions and mushrooms on it. The NY Strip was grainy and tasteless, the tossed salad with their "special" garlic ranch was inedible. My son, the "trash compactor" wouldn't even eat it. There were peanut shells all over the floor, which the staff tried to sweep up, right next to our table, while we were eating. Either encourage the peanuts on the floor and clean them up after closing time, or don't encourage people to throw them on the floor. The staff did bring my daughter a birthday brownie and they attempted to sing their own version of happy birthday to her and to their credit, they were all very nice, but honestly... We visited this restaurant twice today. Our first visit and our last.
