The experience was great, but pricey and lengthy. We sat down at 7pm and received our bill at 930pm. There was only two of us. We ordered 1 four course plate. Total cost 90.00 dollars.

The food was great, the dessert was even better. Our server was great. With that said, the hostess was rude and had my gift card not been specifically for the Melting Pot I would have left. She made us feel very uncomfortable because we didn't have a reservation. We arrived when they opened at 4pm. We didn't know about making a reservation because we had never been there. Had she been nice about it, it wouldn't have been a problem, but she was down right condescending about it. She is the sole reason we will not go back.

This particular location is really cool. It's upstairs in a plaza that you would almost otherwise pass by, but the atmosphere as soon as you enter the building is that of an exclusive lounge. Dim lighting with design that feels like a fusion of classic lounge bar and modern restaurant make this a perfect spot for an intimate occasion or night out. The booths have large high backs so each booth feels like it's own room, which is great for privacy and makes the occasion all that more personal. Our waitress, Tiki, was a really sweet person, extremely attentive, kind, and made my girlfriend and I feel important. She gave great suggestions and prepared everything wonderfully. It had been a long week and we appreciated the good service. If you go here, you must do a 4 course experience. It provides enough food for you to fill up and makes the meal feel special, especially by the time you get to dessert. We had the four course summer special with the bbq brisket cheese, wedge salad, old bay seasoning fish bake, and banana split chocolate. The cheese was a perfect blend of salty and sweet, with the meat adding texture to it and making it a starter that wasn't too rich. The sharpness of the cheddar was balanced by the hopps of the ale base, and the sweetness of the onion and bbq helped to round out the dry and bitterness. The old bay seasoned broth was fantastic. Spicy, bold, and with red potato, andouille sausage and fresh corn on the cob marinating in it as it boiled, the flavors were abundantly there. The assortment of meats was well thought out as well. Scallops, shrimp, crab claw meat, andouille sausage, and lobster ravioli were perfect accompaniments to each other and the broth itself. The assortment of sauces you're given also gives you plenty of options for different flavors. The banana split chocolate had us wondering where the ice cream was. The chocolate alone was creamy and reminiscent of an actual banana split. The pound cake was especially good with this chocolate as the buttery notes of the cake brought out the full rich flavor of the chocolate and that same ice cream flavor. Also, who doesn't love Oreo encrusted marshmallow dipped in chocolate? The full experience was an absolute pleasure. It made for a beautiful night out and we are sure to return there in the future.

We had a great time at our anniversary dinner last night! The first thing I checked was to see if it smelled like fish, but all I smelled was fresh bread. We had made reservations and mentioned that it was our anniversary, so once we walked in the host greeted us and said 'happy anniversary'. We were then seated down a small, quiet hallway that had about 4-5 tables intimate tables. There was a happy anniversary card waiting for us, which was nice. We liked our table, but could still hear the conversations at the tables around us. That didn't really bother us, but we like how the Boca location has curtains that close around just about every booth, so that you have the privacy. Our waitress Tiki, was great and personable. She had good timing and we appreciated her telling us when happy hour was about to end, so that we could put in another drink order at the lower pricing. The food is pretty consistent in every location - delicious! The only part we missed on this visit was having a picture taken. We've celebrated our anniversary for the past 6 years at the Boca location, and they've always come to our table, took a picture, then printed it out and had it in a card for us by the time we leave. So I have a cute little collection going. It would've been nice to add to it. We did have Tiki take a picture on our phone, so the memories aren't forgotten :)

The menu at the melting pot has changed and so the experience is quite different than it used to be a few years ago. I've been to this Melting Pot several times, and each time I have left impressed with the service, the food, the atmosphere and overall, just how great the Melting Pot is. A few years ago, you used to have to order most things a la carte, which got a little confusing. Now, you have the option of ordering specific items by themselves or you can opt for the four course meal, which includes cheese fondue, a salad, a hefty portion of meat or seafood, and chocolate. I really wanted the ahi tuna (which I don't believe they've offered until recently) so I opted for the a la carte meal. I started with the Wisconsin trio, a blend of strongly flavored blue cheeses, and we also got the Grecian goddess cheese. I usually get the Wisconsin trio but I really like how strong it tastes. It was great with the bread and the vegetables. The Grecian goddess was a delicious option as well -- though it was a little bit milder than the Wisconsin. After the cheese came out, it was time for our entrees. Now, the idea of Melting Pot is that you get to cook your meat as little or as much as you want to. I've had almost all of their meat and it is really all very good. The ahi tuna was amazing though, definitely my favorite out of the bunch. We got the coq au vin broth as well as the complimentary broth. Both were pretty good, though the coq au vin had a stronger and more unique flavor due to the spices and wine. After we stuffed ourselves with the entree, it was time for my favorite course: dessert! Melting Pot does dessert very well. There are lots of options for chocolate dipping and all are pretty good. I've had a lot of different types of their chocolate, but my favorite have to be the cookies and cream and the flaming turtle. The chocolate is brought out with strawberries, pound cake, rice Krispy treats, brownies and bananas. All are excellent with the chocolate. The service here has always been friendly and top-notch, and it's always a pleasant experience to come to the Melting Pot. I can't wait to come back!

I went here for my birthday dinner with just my boyfriend and I and I must say I wasn't impressed, this was also our first time here. I cooked my food for the recommend amount of time and my chicken wasn't cooked. The place is pretty, kind of hard to find. Our waiter wasn't the friendliest and didn't really explain the menu to us.

While our waiter was excellent and the food was on par with what one would expect from the Melting Pot, the manager was absolutely terrible. We had an issue with loud, obnoxious, and vulgar patrons at a nearby table shouting all night and disturbing every table in our room. Not only did the manager not provide any solutions, she also showed no empathy at all with a dismissive, condescending and patronizing attitude. She (the manager) was very unprofessional and showed no desire or effort to make it a pleasant evening for us as we tried to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday.

I have eaten at many Melting Pots. This one is the best in terms of decor and service. Todd is a very involved and conscientious owner and makes his mark with a well-trained and generally happy staff. The food is no worse or better than other Melting Pots. I find that the experience across their different locations is consistent and predictable, a good franchise model especially when consistent and predictable means really good food, a fun experience and nice atmosphere. I have dined here a number of times, taken my entire office here and sometimes just went for dessert. That I highly recommend. You don't need to invest three hours every time, just go and have chocolate fondue and go more frequently! The traditional Swiss cheese fondue has been my favorite since I went to the Melting Pot in Gainesville many moons ago. Still great.

Cheddar cheese fondue appetizer, pear and Gorgonzola salad (amazing), duck sirloin shrimp potsticker sausage ravioli entree in broth fondue entree. Milk choc fondue for desserts. Four dirty martinis and two Belgian coffees with dessert. Tony the waiter was fantastic. Had a groupon for the three courses for two people (paid 45). The bill came to 63 (excluded the 45 for groupon). Would have been $109 without groupon. Great food service and atmosphere

Tried the all Swiss fondue was pretty good, but will probably go back to the cheddar Swiss mix. The add-on to the chocolate fondue was really good, the fresh raspberries and cheesecake were the best part. Don't like that they no longer offer iced tea, except bottled. It really smelled like fish when we first entered, really strong...gross. But the food was good and we were far enough away we didn't smell it at dinner.

Probably the best service i've ever had! The food was delicious, specially the yin yang chocolate dessert, though the place is kind of hard to find if you are in a rush. Ask for Kevin if you go there! He's the nicest server i've ever met, really, the best!

We just went there for New Years Eve and experienced a good meal. We had a nice server (Cami) who took care of us well. We had the Boston Lager Cheese dip which was yummy. I had a house salad which was ok not great. That was one part of the meal I did not finish. The meat and seafood course was spectacular. Lobster, filet, pork, chicken and shrimp. I believe this was a pre assigned course but boy was it good. We also had some help trying the mojo broth which added a very nice touch of flavor in our food. I recommend giving it a shot. I also liked that they presented the plating for the sauces as the "OCD plate." I can imagine that's hard to hear if you do have OCD. For dessert we had the Rocky Road fondue which was decent. I loved the dipping options they gave us. Unfortunately my husband doesn't like pecans so I missed out on enjoying the whole experience. Overall, its a New Years Eve tradition for us and we will keep coming back.

I have been to several Melting Pot restaurants, however they are franchises and only as similiar as the cheese they serve and pots they serve it in. This one was incredibly disappointing. The tables were dirty and not bused as we walked thru restaurant, and one table stayed dirty long after the customer's left. But the worse part of all is their customer service and all though it did not happen to me, I would have been as upset as the family it happened to. For that reason, I will not ever be going back to this location or possibly any Melting pots! There was a large family with their children including a few small children who dined and had a groupon, the waitress looked at it and told them how to order. The end of the dinner came my husband and I heard arguing. The man was quite clearly upset because a groupon had been purchased, (sounded like a gift) and it was for the melting pot in California. The manager or owner, came over told him to buy one for this location and he could negate the charge with groupon. I'm not sure what happened but his family left and he stayed and continued to ask for a solution to the matter. It was over a 300.00 bill and they offered no solution other than saying they should not get stuck with his bill. He said I am willing to pay but you should honor some of the Groupon. The management or owners never went outside with the gentleman, they continued to argue in the restaurant with other patrons still eating, nor did they offer a solution and called the cops. Then I heard her lie...The same lady, manager or owner, who told him to buy a groupon for their location and negate the California one then said 30 mins later...We've been sold out of groupon for months! She also initially did not want to deal with this and had the poor waitress "go handle" it. Having been in Management and owned my own company for years I cannot imagine how any of them thought this was a good Idea, they really need someone in here who can deal with people, they had no customer service skills and quite honestly were just lacking in commons sense! Having watched this scene along with several others made me disgusted and ruined my evening. I hope the man goes home...negates the charges and pays for none of it!

My two daughters and I started off with not being too hungry tonight, but ended up with an amazing three course meal that was amazingly delicious for a fondue & most of all our server Jason and his helper James made the night even better with their superb service. The first course was spinach & artichoke fondue that had a great selection of accompaniments from fresh fruit to pumpernickel bread to vegetables & we enjoyed every bit! The second course was a great selection of salads, served perfectly & we tasted all three of their options. Our last course, and my personal favorite because it included dark chocolate, well it is good for you right, but it included rice crispy treats, marshmallows, fresh fruit & so much more. Let's just say there was a lot lot goodness floating around in that pot! Let's just say, this diner had a great meal & a great experience! Thank you melting pot!

Absolutely a great time. First time going. Stewart was a phenomenal waiter. Rather lengthy dinner but well worth it. Prepare to relax and be there a long time. It is all well worth it. Expensive outing but also well worth it. Atmosphere is quiet and friendly. I highly recommend.

As soon as we walked in, the restaurant smelled like fish. As we walked to our table the smell changed to the smell of a wet dog. I didn't want to stay but my husband said the smell would disappear as soon as we started cooking. The restaurant wasn't full but our server seemed very busy. Also, if you want pepper, bring your own! When I asked for some to put on my salad, I was told most people don't like pepper so the servers didn't carry it anymore.

Another wonderful evening where we brought new folks to enjoy the experience of the Melting Pot. As always the food was super, the atmosphere "eveningish" (meaning dark and cozy) and the magician stumped us yet again! On Sunday it is family night and a magician makes rounds to the tables. All in all another fun evening at the Melting Pot and this month they are taking up donations for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. If you donate $10 they give you a card worth $20 to use at the Melting Pot that is good for one year!

This review is more for the service than the food. Typically if I want to cook dinner I do that at home, not with 9 of my sisters friends on her birthday. I had a tendency to overcook everything just to be on the safe side. Our waiter Tony was amazing. Great sense of humor and willing to accommodate our picky, wiseass party

Ok, as other reviews have said, it's not cheap. In fact, it's totally over priced for the quality of food, but having said that, my sister and I go every year when she's in town at least once. We love it. The cheese fondue appetizer is heaven. I always choose Swiss, although our server said Cheddar is the most popular. I bring Publix bakery bread that I buy right before dinner (from plaza near this restaurant) and substitute it for their stale bread. I get a baguette and a rye loaf. That fondue is way too good to waste on stale bread. We stick with the original oil for our cooking choice. Eating at the Melting Pot is hardly the time to be concerned with whether the bullion broth is healthier or whatever. Entree quality is not worth the price as I said before. A lot of money for limp frozen shrimp and steak that's supposedly filet mignon, BUT, the sauces are so good, and the whole cooking thing so fun, that it's ok in the end! I actually order the vegetarian (though I'm not one) because the large mushrooms are my favorite part of the meal. Stuffed with Green Goddess dressing and then dipped in the batter and then the oil... Out of this world. And the potatoes and other veggies in batter dipped in the Curry sauce or Green Goddess- just delicious. We always ask for double the Curry sauce and double the Goddess. Not even sure what other sauces are as I ignore them. Then the chocolate fondue for dessert. I like the original milk chocolate. Again here you may wish the small pieces of pound cake and cheese cake were of higher quality because the fondue is so fabulous, but oh well. Maybe I'll bring a really good cheesecake slice along with the bread in my purse next time. (I have actually thought of bringing in a really good steak cut up beforehand, but then why would we be paying $100 for dinner for two?). So yes, it's expensive and the quality could be better, but it's always always delicious in the end. And fun. It's fun to fondue!

The food here is great, perfect portions and wonderful service! Our server Kevin was extremely kind and upbeat, and even gave us complimentary chocolate covered strawberries at the end of our meal. I really recommend it, the best service I've ever had and most incredible fondue I've had yet!

Loved the Melting Pot experience! I had the combo meal (lobster, steak, chicken and duck) various meats with various dips too, loved the variety of it all! Ambiance and service from (Kevin Bamford) was great too! Definitely will go back... There was a quiet child with adults at a nearby table, she was visited by the restaurants magician - this was a nice touch. Otherwise, I call this restaurant very romantic!

Maybe it was the location, or what we ordered but wow was it bad. I brought my mom here for her birthday in June. We had the Big Night Out Latin America.... deep cleaning breath in... Started with the ceviche, which was obviously pre-made since it came out in the shape of a cone and cold. It was on top of avocado (which isn't an ingredient in ceviche) and tasted like mush. We didnt finish it. The cheese was Queso Fundido...the chorizo was almost non existant but this was the bestpart of the meal. I've never had a bad cheese fondu with them so this was an A. We ordered the Lobster Indulgence cooked in Mojo as recommended by my server... I usually get Bourguignonne which is like frying it and have never had an issue... Mojo was basically boiling my meats. My meal came with steak... we ate boiled steak...that's all I can say. D- (because although it was bad it was edible). and for dessert we had the cookie and cream.... delicious but the smallest portion I'd ever seen. I wont be back to this location...maybe even the chain. I spent over $100 for 2 people and left hungry and disappointed :(

Don't listen to other reviews. They just don't know how to order here. My favorite restaurant in the location. Only go for certain occasions (birthday, guest, etc) because of the duration of the meal. Service: It takes at least 1 hr to finish, it usually takes around 2. Service is definitely not the best, but manageable. Restaurant is dark, which adds to the experience. Food: I always order the 4 course dinner which is around $40 per person. For cheese, I like to get the traditional Swiss cheese. Always good. For salad, I like to go with the house salad. For the entree, you are given a large plate full of meats, vegetables, ravioli, and more. VERY FILLING! Now, the best part of the meal, the dessert. Any chocolate fondue is good but I like to go with s'mores or flaming turtle (chocolate with caramel and roasted pecans). Never disappoints. Service is mediocre but the food makes up for it. MAKE SURE TO HAVE A TIMER OR CLOCK! You will need this for the meats. 2 minutes dipped into the oil. Go with mojo oil! -MR. FOOD

I have been to a couple oft Melting Pot Restaurants, in St. Louis, Boston, Lake Worth, And Maui and next to the one Maui this is by far the nicest Melting Pot I have been to its brand new like the one in Maui and the newer ones are great...They have really stepped it up, the Melting Pot is better then ever... I never thought the food was 5star before but the menu changes and additions have really upgraded the quality of food... Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable and an all around great waiter.... This place is only a couple of months old and it is very modern and stylish..I started with my favorite martinii in all of the world theYing Yang Martin - Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur, Stoli Vanil vodka and ice cream topped with chocolate shavings. We got the Big Night Out Option, Four-Course Fondue Dinner for Two... They always change the Big Night Out so thats why I usually get it cause its something new and different... Then for desert we had the Ying & Yang the White and Milk Chocolate Mixture I was in Heaven.... All and all the food and dipping sauces were great the service and atmosphere couldn't get any better it was a total 5star experience....

What a perfect place to come here with a couple girlfriends and spend a couple hours eating and stuffing your faces with food you cook out of a fondue pot. The menu constantly changes according to season and the food is super awesome. You get a four course meal, but it comes with a price that make break the bank a little bit. It's worth it though. The questo cheese fondue we had was good and not too spicy. I'm a fan of their ceasar salad since I love the combo of the little nuts that it includes in the dish. Of course, you cook your meats how you want them. The fondue feast is always a hit with most customers. You have a variety of meats such as pork, chicken, and beef to enjoy. By the time you are ready to explode, save room for dessert. A must have and a must gone by the end of the night. All the sweet cute treats are enjoyable with the chocolate made for it. The waitress and staff made sure we were taken care of and provided us with second helpings when we ran out of the first. The decor is very nice and the hallways kind of set it off a little bit, but we didn't let it ruin our experience here. Thanks for making it a fun night!

We have eaten at Melting Pots all over the country. It is, in our opinion, a great place for special occasions. It was my birthday; this is what brought us here for this visit. This was our first time to this location. Unfortunately, this location was a disappointment for us due to a multitude of reasons. We were seated down a hallway, that turned out to be a direct connector to the kitchen. Directly accross from our table was the doorway into their party room. This was the room with large tables for large party's, hence, THE NOISE. There are pocket doors at this doorway but no one would leave them closed- not the servers or the guests. We continually had to ask for the doors to be shut. Our server had some of the larger partys in that room, so as you can imagine, My partner and I were forgotten about more than I care to say. As it always turns out, two people against party's of 10+ do not stand a chance for good service. Servers see BIG tips in these partys and then figure 2 people won't cough up as much. She was wrong, but that was her loss. Part way through the dinner we were "timeshared" to another server due to her not being able to handle all of the orders. I did not appreciate this move on their part but he(our new server) actually had a personality. The food as always was great, of course, we cooked it. Now for yet another problem, in line with our table was the door, the party room, and finally an outside door that for some reason the staff felt they had to use. If you have ever been to Melting Pots you will know they are dimmly lit, makes for an intimate atmosphere. When this door opened it was as if you were trying to look into the SUN. Wow! Do they not know this is extremely interupting and irritating? My last complaint, and this is me just being selfish for my birthday, is the fact that we never had ballons or anything brought to the table. Everyone else was getting them but me. Yea, I know.....Waaa!! We have been to Melting Pots for special occasions in the past and they always make our night enjoyable and special. My partner noted during the reservation that this was for a birthday and they forgot. They didn't forget anyone elses...............but mine! He even informed them when we arrived why he made the reservation and they just sort of blew it off. Mind you this place is not cheap so for the money, especially when we are doing the cooking, I expect nothing but the BEST! We were extremely disappointed and may never return. It will definitely take time for me to decide to go back, probably long enough to make sure the staff turns over to different staff. Hopefully then it will be a better time. To bad this one is the closest to home. :(

I was trapped!....It was a good meal, and sort of neat....but seriously...300.00? including gratuity (I had to order a lot of drinks in order to force myself to pay. :).......Manager called about my concern....I'm now a satisfied customer.

Excellent service. See Sherrie at the bar! We went for a birthday and found that this does not have to be ap "special occasion" kind of place

Love this place! Food and the yummy Chocolate fondue! Service is great and nice atmosphere " romantic section" love it!!

A+++ Service was perfect. Food was great. Value was awesome. Why isn't this place packed? It is SOO good

Be prepared to pay seriously but the food is incredible, service impeccable, and ambiance like nothing else.

Don't pay $50 for Kraft cheese and Hershey chocolate syrup.

I made reservations for Valentine's Day and brought my wife and daughter. I was not told there was a special set menu. I arrived to find $65 per person, no sharing allowed. I was trapped!....It was a good meal, and sort of neat....but seriously...300.00? including gratuity (I had to order a lot of drinks in order to force myself to pay. :).......Manager called about my concern....I'm now a satisfied customer.
