Good news: everything about this place is good. Service, food, and wine selection. Bad news: every idiot with a smart phone can say anything they like. Seriously, give this place a try. We have and have yet to be disappointed by any of the house made specialties.

This is one of the best little big family owned True Italian restaurants. I love it that is owned and managed by the Chef and his sons. The food is true to Italian flavors as if I was eating at a trattoria in Bologna. Their service is high class and personal. So, you get the treatment if fine dinning while feeling as if you were hime with friends. Good job!

What a nice find was this very decent Italian restaurant located just a few miles south of Juno Beach. Everything delicious especially the anti pasta which was made in the center of the dining area. Great old style service with more waiters running around than patrons. Pricey but not over the top. Hard to beat if you are looking for Italian in the area...

Meh. Special fish was great but lobster ravioli was under cooked and I couldn't finish. Our waiter was rushing us out, we sat down and he said the kitchen was closing in 20 minutes. He was ready to go home. Maybe go back....

One of the best Italian restaurants in all of Florida! I make it a point to eat here whenever I am visiting the area. Fresh mozzarella, excellent prosciutto and great tomatoes. Elaborate menu selection and friendly staff!

Wow. The antipasto is so fresh. The pasta cheese wheel is so flavorful. The veal chop and rack of lamb is killer. Perfect in every way. A great Italian experience. You must try.

It's like being in Italy! Amazing food, homemade pasta, great atmosphere, and outstanding service. The artichoke appetizer was phenomenal and every entree we tried was perfect (scallops and shrimp special, lasagna, and spaghetti and meatballs). I'm not sure why this place isn't rated 5 stars. Barbara our waitress was the friendliest lady from Rome. The chef and owner came to say hello, a great touch. Highly recommend this place! We will be back!

Our food was ok , the service was good i expected more from this place , the only thing that made my meal was the desert i ordered the tiramisu and that is spectacular. The flavor and the texture is this desert will knock your socks off!! I will definitely be returning for the desert only!

I have probably eaten here a dozen or more times over the past few years and it is a great place. Great food, outstanding service and a very quaint atmosphere. My place for a romantic getaway with the wife. I love Italian food and theirs is some of the beat you will find in Palm Beach Gardens.

Amazing! This restaurant is a MUST !!! I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem in South Florida! One of the finest restaurants ever ! The restaurant was vibrant and authentic with a modern flair !!! Loved the antipasti table with fresh sliced prosciutto, cheeses, and grilled vegetables. The pasta was fresh and brought me back to Italy. The service was outstanding! Desserts were homemade and amazing! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a fine dining experience!

Left captain Charlie's to discover this little gem. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with open arms despite the fact the bar was full and there was a wait. We were told several people at the bar were paying their bills and it wouldn't be long. The sole was amazing. As was the taglerone pasta (spelling incorrect). The bartenders were sweet and service amazing. Looking forward to next meal and experience here !!! Yum. Bravo!

Haven't been here in a while. Food is always good to excellent. Tonight tried special egg noodle pasta with mushroom, looked great but a little bland to my taste. My wife said if she had made the "Pappardelle ai Funghi Porcini " she would have apologized to family and thrown it out and started over, it was OK with me, just not great. The Bolognese pasta was good but not spectacular for an owner from Bologna! We have had extraordinarily good Dover Sole and the best pompano I've ever had, should have stuck to the fish. Antipasti and salads always good, but for the prices I expect better. I've had some great experiences in past here but not lately and tonight it was so noisy and crowded.

OMG, I never really have had freshly made pasta. Every dish that everyone at the table had was simply melt in your mouth superb. Our server, Barbara, is from Rome. This was more Italian than dining at the base of the Spanish Steps! We dined outside. Inside was packed. Five stars would certainly be fair. Maybe after our next experience there I will give them a raise to 5.

Excellent food and outstanding service! Stuffed artichoke, salads, and entrees ( veal special, pasta bolognese and sole francese were delicious. Do not skip dessert, the Neapolitan pastry was spectacular! Can't wait to go back.

Wow I can't believe some of he negative reviews. I went there and it's probably one of the best meals I have ever had. It's privately owned. Good limoncello frozen in a shot glass. The food wow. The shrimp parmigiana huge and perfect. The antipasto presentation amazing with the server and the cutting machine. The veggies in that are crazy. I had the veal , perfect. The lasagna very good . And the pasta ragu omg!,, service impeccable and the manager was awesome very nice. Let's talk ambience. Perfect for the area, decor perfect and the place is so cool , romantic and trendy . Please go and see this amazing gem. Desserts are yummy , the even have an awesome Napoleon hummmm. Wish i was there again.

This place has good food. Service was fast. Right after we sat down we were waited on. I had the lasagna bolognese. It was great. It had spinach noodle in it which was a little different but it went well with lasagna. :)

Horrible pastas, the fat hostess is useless and should not be in the people business. We had 7pm reservations made 2 weeks ago, after a hour I asked for a table , they said they didn't have one , but we could sit in the parking lot. I asked for the owner, and he sorry we don't have a table. I will never go back. Horrible food and horrible management. DONT GO HERE!!!!!!!

First timer last night. Loved everything about it. All 4 of us loved our meals. The service was great. The ambiance was very good, even though we were seated next to the kitchen. Outstanding desserts. We didn't feel rushed nor did we wait too long. We will go back!!

My elderly uncle's favorite spot. Sadly, not for me. A stuffed artichoke was overcooked and unexciting, a branzino with seafood, sad and bland with a few clams a mussel and two shrimps. Service was old-school Italian but the dinners came out right on the heels of the apps - way too fast. The place was packed, however, especially with folks who remember the rat pack fondly...take your nonna for a night out (but her food is better)

Arrogant, non flexible chef/manager--he needs to stay in the kitchen and away from the customer. We requested a substitute salad and were refused by the waiter even though the substitute was the same price on the menu as the salad offered with our meal. The waiter refused. The chef/manager came to our table and arrogantly asked "why don't you want to pay for a substitute salad"? I told him to forget it. Food and service was OK but I do not go to restaurants to be treated as we were at Limoncello by the chef manager.

Okay - where is the vat of KoolAid that everyone who raves about this place is slaking their thirst? When someone gushes 'funniest movie EVAR!' you know you're gonna be let down. Should have remembered that. Finally came here with a party of 6 the other night...we get that restaurants have no control over how long people linger over their linguine - but 45 minutes late to sit down when you've taken the trouble to make a reservation is more 'Outback Steakhouse' than fine dining. Oh, and 'fine dining' refers to the price range, not necessarily the food. We all know that good prosciutto is $30/lb, but does that justify $15 for two slices and a wedge of not-quite-rip melon? Uh, no. Said prosciutto is ceremoniously sliced in the middle of the dining room by the chef ( or a chef), and I know deli workers at Publix who can slice it thinner than packaged bologna - which is how it was served to us. Contrast that with a very flavorful Insalate Cesare, as well-dressed as the clientele. Osso Bucco was terrific - savory, well-seasoned and tender, and though its not high on the skills ladder, its still reassuring to see them get it right. Put that against a chicken special whose names does not immediately come to mind. Although mine was edible, there was nothing memorable about it at all, and another in our party couldn't get past one bite. Rather than send it back and set the night off in that direction, he elected simply not to eat it. I have been to countless dinners with him, and have never seen him send anything back, nor has he ever taken one bite of anything. Ever. You might think a highly-compensated server in an expensive restaurant make inquire whether there was some issue...nope. The nearly-untouched dish was whisked away even as others at the table were not quite finished with theirs. I'd be tempted to go back to see whether it may have been an off night, but I can think of better places to spend loot.

5 Stars is an understatement for Limoncello All I can say is that everything, and I mean everything was perfect. *( Side note)This place is very nice, so I would recommend dressing semi-formal As soon as we arrived, we were greeted and seated right away. They have a fabulous wine selection, and also a full service bar. I got the cheese ravioli, and my boyfriend got the 'Pasta Special" The ravioli was great, but I tasted the Pasta Special and it blew my mind.Mario the owner cooked it himself, and placed it on a huge block of cheese while he was cooking it, so it came out tasting wonderful, and unique. Mario came around and talked to everyone in the restaurant to make sure that everyone was satisfied. He asked us our names and also talked to us for quite some time. You can tell he really loves what he does and that he really cares for his customers. After all was said and done, we ordered some Cappuccino, and this dessert called Semifreddo. OH MY GOD! If you love cake, or anything sweet, for the love of God get this dessert. It will blow your mind. I could eat this dessert for the rest of my life and die a happy woman. So eat here. Now.

I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT. Just so comfy and cozy. Not pretentious. We 'appetized' on fresh sliced procuitto & cheese,(The antique slicer is in the middle of the room), had the baby-sized clams posillippo(?) super tender & juicy in a light tomato sauce... I could have stopped here - this was great., fried calamari(light and flavourful - no need to dip) My entree was the lobster ravioli and it was to die for. Light pink sauce didn't at all take away from the flavor of the ravioli itself and there was PLENTY. I took half home. My husband had a veal chop (HUGE) tender, juicy and roasted just right. Other meals at the table were the osso bucco - OMG, and simple chicken parmesan, tender and flavorful. We all had lunch the next day as well - generous portions. I see the other reviews about the staff, I believe we were treated well, the staff was friendly and attentive. Jack Nicklaus the golfer was at a nearby table and is apparently a regular ! Bonus! celebrity sighting, i LOVE that!!

The restaurant was packed...so was the bar, and this is not the busy season in south Florida. Our party, of four, were very pleased with our appetizers right through to a shared slab of their dense chocolate cake for dessert. Our waiter was attentive and quite knowledgable. Be aware, that this is not an inexpensive restaurant. Our meal, plus drinks came to $246 before gratuity, for the four of us. However, it is several notches above most restaurants in the area.

Stumbled across this restaurant while driving the neighborhood. The food was just "okay." I had linguine with red clam sauce and my husband had veal parm. The veal was decent and my linguine was good but the sauce was soupy. No veggies came with the entrees so we had an order of spinach to share which got lost on the plate. And for $8.50. I won't give it any higher than two stars only because of the prices.

My rating is solely based upon service. We made a reservation for 6 people at 7:30 and when we showed up they didn't have our reservation down - which we definitely made. The hostess said there wasn't anything she could do about it - she didn't even try to help. THEN a party of 4 behind us also had a reservation that she didn't have down. To make it worse... this has happened before to my parents. Apparently (as it was explained to us) only the owner takes reservations, and sometimes the reservations are missing (because he doesn't' really write them down) or they are hard to read - but this happens a lot. We heard from a few people working there that we were the 4th reservation that night that this happened to. It's very unprofessional - if you make a reservation it should be there. This seems to be a habit with this restaurant and because of that we will not be coming back. And it's sad because the one time we did come the food was very good. But it's not worth going here if you have to "hope" your reservation is there.

We came here to investigate whether the restaurant was named for the iced dessert or the liqueur. We stayed for dinner and found the prices undeserved and the dining room room empty on a Sunday night. How do they make money at this establishment? The veal scallopini was tasty, expensive, and lonely on the plate with barely any veggies. They had some interesting offerings, including a giant handsome wheel of cheese and a prosciutto carving station. The orange iced desert served in a frozen hollowed out orange was authentic and refreshing. In all, the food was good but overpriced. We don't plan on returning.

If your from Long Island its a must for you. I ran into so many people that I have not seen in years. Food as always is excellent. Packed, everyone said we wouldnt get a seat Sat night 7:30 for 3 and they put us a a table after we were done with our drinks (standing no room to sit at the bar.) Mario knows his people.

How does this place not have a review?!?!? This is our FAVORITE restaurant when we come to town, and we come from the City of Italian restaurants. The curb appeal may not be the best, but once you're inside, it's fabulous. You can't go wrong with anything, but last time we had a ton and it was all excellent. Calamari- great Crab and Avocado Salad- It was a special and it was delicious. My 5 year old had one on her own. Antipasto- Great, but they are definitely veggie-heavy and light on the meat and cheese. For main courses we had: Fish with the calamari and shrimp on top- Melt in your mouth. Osso Bucco- Dad and husband had it- Yuck. They had to suck the marrow out when I went to the bathroom or I would have lost it. They loved it. Lobster Ravioli- Daughter had it. I had a couple bites and it was awesome. Special Pasta with Cream Sauce, Peas, Mushrooms- Delicious Veal Parm- Mom had it- eckkkk. But she loved it. It's NEVER let us down. Jupiter must not be a "Yelp" type of city.

Allow me to begin with making reservations 1 week in advance for a party of 6 family members we had not shared Christmas eve dinner with in years. When we arrived we were greeted courteously and professionally by the valet. We then were courteously and unceremoniously seated at our reserved table which had been added to the room for additional guests, making an already small dinning area that much smaller. The table was situated right next to the main walkway and did it's best to inhibit all traffic through that area. Upon closer inspection it was discovered that the chairs for this table were in fact garden or patio chairs. This is not acceptable seating for interior dinning especially at a restaurant that was supposed to be so wonderful. When I spoke to the hostess she did not know what to do and said all the other tables were spoken for. ( I must add we were only the 3rd table filled at that time. The rest were empty.) The maître d' over heard and said "seat them at any table". When I pointed out a table in the corner the hostess informed me we could not have that one as it was set for 7 and we had only a measly 6. So she sat us at the table right next to the one we did not want and it too was an "extra" as could be told by the chairs placed around it. These at least were kitchen style chairs of the correct height and with a cushion. But they did not match the other regular dinning room chairs throughout the rest of the room. This table was also located on the walkway and right by the 100 year old meat slicer. (We wondered perhaps a small piece of the prosciutto would fall onto our table but we were disappointed there too.) We made the best of the situation and proceeded to order. (Around this time the patio chairs at the first table were replace with actual dinning room chairs) As for the food, I can only speak for my wife and myself. We both ordered the lasagna and upon it's arrival we discovered it was not made with red sauce, or if it was I couldn't see it. The wife asked for a side of red sauce but I ate mine as delivered. I must say, with out question, for me it was the worst lasagna I have had in many years. I'm sure I have had worse, but I cannot recall it. The wife did not like hers either, even with the additional sauce. My sister had to borrow some of my wife's sauce as her pasta with red sauce was lacking too. The rest of the meal was bland, lacking any excitement. No seasoned oil for the stale bread, one little Melba toast sized appetizer with chopped tomatoes, and a salad of lettuce with a couple sliced cucumbers. The wife & I chose to forgo desert as we definitely had had enough mediocrity for one Christmas eve. Way over priced. The best thing going for this establishment is the valet and the meat slicer. We will not go back.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
