Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

NO NO NO Thats how my wife and i were greeted Divinos Ristorante. The owner walked up as if we had the plague. No no sorry no table for you we just sat our last table, at 630 pm with a half empty room. We were dressed properly and were not an ugly couple so i don't get it. We visited Divinos on the recommendations of one of my customers . Sorry to say NO NO NO class at this restaurant . I have a lot of customers and friends . So NO NO NO Divinos

My wife and I along with close friends are at Divinos for the first time and for the most part really enjoyed the experience. I would say the atmosphere is very nice, wait staff excellent and meals extremely well done. The only negative that cost them 1 star was the price of our glasses of wine. They were $3-4 higher than I believe they should have been. Now that being said my wife and her friend had the smaller portion of a pasta shrimp dish and loved it. The other gentleman with us had a mixed seafood risotto dish which he also enjoyed. I had a veal dish with ham that was excellent. Also we all had a starter salad that was also carte. We followed up with desserts that all enjoyed The tab for 4 people with tip was $275 which was ok considering the drinks were $50 of the tab. So would I go back. I say yes but certainly would not buy alcohol. But the food and service was so good that it stands by itself.

My family and I had dinner here tonight and it was wonderful. To start we shared the antipasto of which my favorite was the fresh mozzarella and the most amazing eggplant. We also shared the fried calamari. For dinner I had the linguine alle vongole in the half portion size which was perfect for me. The pasta was cooked al dente and clams were just right. I was also happy to have the homemade bread on hand to sop up the juices. The star of the show by far was my husband's vitello valdostano - veal scaloppini with prosciutto de parma and fontina cheese. It was tender and flavorful and cooked perfectly. I had heard the veal was amazing here and tonight did not disappoint. We finished the meal with tiramisu (my favorite), cheesecake and espresso. The service was very good. Our waiter was very professional and prompt. The other staff were incredibly smooth as they discreetly cleared our plates and transitioned from each course. We came early with a reservation around 6:30pm but the place quickly filled up so I do suggest calling ahead.

Very good food and exceptional service. The pasta was a little thick and disappointed that they just threw raw whole garlic in the mussel broth. They could increase their portions just a bit or decrease the prices.

We used to go to Divino, but found prices rising and quality declining. So after a two year absence, we returned with two other couples. The restaurant had been redecorated, and looks so much better than it had. The food was terrific, though our waiter seemed a bit inattentive, but to be fair, he had several tables to look after. The wine list seemed okay, but perhaps a bit aggressively priced. On balance entree choices were plentiful, and prices seemed pretty good. Our table of six split three appetizers, and two bottles of wine. We had no coffees or desserts. The bill was $85 per couple, pre-tip...which I think is pretty good given the much improved experience.

The food is average at best, with slow and unprofessional wait staff. My second time there, and will not be back. Not children friendly at all. The entire place needs updating on interior and staff.

Divine at Divinos! Place doesn't look like much from the outside but let me tell you. The food is great! Pappardelle with porcini is out of this world. In fact, I find myself craving it. Staff is friendly and attentive. While they may seem hurried at times, I believe it is because they are a family owned restaurant. Love it! Definitely in my regular rotation.

Just enjoyed a delicious dinner. Not sure what one of the previous yelpers was talking about. We were greeted very warmly at the door, seated, enjoyed two delicious appetizers, shared an entrée so that we could then share two desserts. Divine! We would definitely be back. Even the bread is homemade :-)

i went there last night with a friend who is a very good customer. the staff was friendly but a little disorganized maybe because it was xmas week. i ordered the fish of the day, flounder, which was supposed to be lightly coated in flour and sauteed. what i received was an unprepared fish that was microwaved. i think they must have given my fish to another table that they failed to place. anyway, i ate one bite but it was so bad i could not eat anymore. i did not complain to the waiter because it was my friend's favorite haunt and i did not want to disappoint her. i had to come home at 9:30 and cook a dinner. it was a very dissapointing evening.

Fairly solid Italian - a little pricey, but well-executed for the most part. The low points: an amuse bouche bruschetta was mediocre at best. More stale bread than toast, topped with tomatoes that had only a slight hint of flavor, a touch of salt would have helped. Caesar salad was what you'd expect from Olive Garden - it was served with no dressing and it was clear that it did not get much attention at all. Things went up from there - a burrata appetizer was dressed perfectly and paired with prosciutto. You could put burrata on a flip flop and I'd eat it. Osso bucco ravioli was a special, satisfying and perfect on a cooler than normal November evening. Pappardelle with mushrooms was also a great call - high-quality ingredients produced a plate that measured up to a hefty price. We split a tira misu - next time I'd skip it and try one of the other offerings. Overall a good experience - would go back.

Thank you Carlos D. That's exactly the reception we received. We politely asked if there was a table for 4 without a reservation and you would have thought that the world was coming to an end. We were asked how long we were going to be because they were booked. They gave us a table and the waiter was asked to serve us quickly. I had a glass of Pinot Noir that tasted like turpentine and left it. No one came over to ask why, or if we were enjoying our meal. I also spotted a little critter under our table. Never, ever been treated so rudely in a restaurant. Upon leaving, the owner, who was at the desk never said a word - I guess just glad to see us go. I will never go back, and never recommend. Two thumbs down for Divino Ristorante Italian. BTW, I thought the food was mediocre at best. If I could, I'd give 0 stars!
