Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Pomodoro's is your typical American Italian restaurant. This establishment sEEmed like more of a takeout restaurant, as it was smaLL and empty. The chicken parmasean hit the spot, but next time I will definitely paSS on the fries. I gueSS you dont get fries at an Italian restaurant so that was probably my fault lol. Wake up! Also they have these adorable baby cOOkies caLLed COOkie CriTTers. They lOOked scrumptous, but opted to just take a pic of them. So let me know how they are :)

Ordered pizza from here and got an old, chewy, dried and cold pie. Called the restaurant and spoke to Jorge, the Manager. He told me "a lot of people like their pizza and there is nothing he is going to do about my pizza." I told him "I would be calling the owner" and he said "k call him!" I saw some reviews here and on their Facebook page with a name Jorge as a profile. Is he making his own reviews to up their grade and mediocrity? What a joke! Don't patron them.

I've been a long time loyal customer and use to love their pizza but lately I've been getting burnt pizza. Also the service is suffering. Garlic bread is dry and flavorless. Check your order before leaving....

Not bad pizza here. It's nothing particularly special, but it will do if you are looking for thin slices. The sauce is kind of on the sweet side and even though the crust is thin, it is a little doughy and heavy. I like that they use sliced salami instead of cubes for the toppings. Also, it is not particularly expensive. The garlic rolls are not bad. I would not go into this place expecting anything more than some fairly standard pizza fare and you probably won't be disappointed.

I took a real estate lincense course within walking distance of this Resturant I ate there for 5 days straight ordering the same meal for lunch everyday. I always subbed veggies for fries. On the 6 th day I ordered the same meal and suddenly the resturant couldn't sub veggies for fries that would be an additional charge I asked to speak to the manager the person at the counter said I am the manager I replied you have seen me and I have seen you all week and ordered the same thing he said if you don't like it then go somewhere else so I did! Very rude!

I work in the same shopping center as Pomodoro's and I am there 2-4x a week! I adore their veggie pizza!! The slices are huge and very filling, prices are fair and the place is clean. Staff is also very friendly. Definitely worth coming in if you are in the area.

I eat here often probably once or twice during the weekend the bacon cheeseburger never disappointing and the Stromboli, is probably the best I've tasted, I highly reccomend this place

Ummm I don't what everyone's talking about but this is the worst pizza I've ever had. Pizza Hut unfortunately is better. Nothing right about it. As a New Yorker this is embarrassing sorry.

Love this place! I called 15 min before they closed to place a delivery order. Most places would not answer the phone. They were SO nice and helpful. I called back to add garlic rolls and they told me I already get 3 free, HOW NICE IS THAT. Any other place would just take the extra money. BTW the garlic rolls are INSANE--should have ordered 12. Highly recommend. Price great too, can not beat. Other Italian Restaurant in the area charges 40% more for the same food!

I've reviewed this place before but I have to make one more observation based on my current obsession...... THEIR POPEYE PIZZA IS THE BEST PIZZA EVER. I don't know what they put in their ricotta but if you like ricotta ask for extra! BRAVO GUYS!

Absolutely delicious!!! Very busy place with all the tables full (small place seats about 20) & EVERYONE appearing to enjoy their dinner! We ordered the large plain cheese pizza for the kids.....came out super huge & kids enjoyed very much! Also ordered the Hawaiian pizza for the adults.....also absolutely delicious! Typical pizza joint.....order @ the counter @ wait for the pie to be delivered to the table. Service mediocre @ best...... (Language barrier??) service was without a smile :) but easily overlooked due to the super taste!

I recommended highly! The pizza was bomb.com and the service was great. I was treated with gratitude and respect. So far my favorite pizza place, a break from the food chains.

I can't recommend Pomodoro's enough. If you want an authentic NY-style pie of pizza, then this place is it. On my 'cheat-days', I order a slice of Pomodoro's Soprano ($5.00 for a gee-normous slice) and their dinner-sized Chicken Parmesan, oh what an amazing treat! Possibly the best Pizzeria-Pasta joint in the northern Miami-Dade county area. If you live in Sunny Isles or North Miami Beach, don't hesitate to call Pomodoro's Pizza, they're the real deal!

One huge slice, and well made as well. this place is a keeper, but hard to find. My friend suggested it, and the lunch specials are a killer deal. I will be back!

My husband and I each got a slice with a soda as the lunch special and the slices were gigantic! The crust was nice and crispy and the sauce was good too. I would definitely come back.

By far, Pomodoro's serves the best pizza and pasta in the North Miami beach area. Their ravioli is scrumptious and pizza is delicious. I'm from NY and very critical of pizza down here. This is the only pizza I'll eat.

Hooked on the Philly sandwich, my preference just steak and cheese

Excellent New York style pizza. Best I've had in Miami. Would only recommend takeout as the space is really small.

I am not really sure how this place is still open? I know this is a pizza place, but I have driven past it everyday for almost a year at least once and there is never really anyone inside. I've only seen people there a handful of times. It is a pizza place, but it appears to be one of those latin (not Italian) owned establishments that kind of have an idea of what pizza should taste like, but not really. I went there yesterday because I received a coupon in the mail from them and wanted to check it out. I was the only one in the place the entire time. The coupon was for a sub combo with FRIES and a DRINK. Hm. I ordered a philly cheesesteak that said it came with American cheese, but actually I was given provolone. No biggie and I like provolone better. I forgot to ask the guy for the drink that came with my combo because I was in a hurry, and he never offered me one. When I got home and opened my food box, I saw that I had a philly "sub" on cuban bread with no fries and no (canned) drink. Eventhough that's what I paid for. The philly cheesesteak was semi OK at best, but definitely not worth going here again for. I think I could've made a better one at home with some fresh cuban bread and a pack of frozen steak-ums from Publix. I was very disappointed in the experience as a whole and will never go back there again. I would've went back for my fries and canned soda, but that would've entailed me getting back in the car, driving north on Collins, west over the bridge, turning around and then going east on the bridge toward Collins again in rush hour traffic. Wasn't worth it. I just sucked it up, and had a crappy dinner. With all fairness, I did not order the pizza, but like I said this place has no reviews and I never see anyone in there. The pictures of the food inside did not look good either. If you're in the area, just eat Papa Johns.
