Great location. Wonderful food. Excellent service. I had the seafood risotto, and the rest of my party had the gnocchi and the salmon. Everyone enjoyed their food very much. We finished with the tiramisu. We are very picky with tiramisu and this one was delicious. Our server (Wesley?) was the sweetest and super efficient. Given that the other restaurants at this location are mad houses on weekend nights, 163 Pointe was quick to sit and serve us. And they were helpful in making sure our car seat and baby were comfortable and secure in the booth. Such a nice evening! Definitely recommend this place.

The food was not good at all my pasta with clams was horroble and my friends food was not any better . We arrived at 163 Ponte at around 6pm on a Thursday night and it was almost empty. Never a great sign, but what the hell, let's give it a chance. The in-laws were pleased with a previous visit, and recommended it highly. So OK. I can't speak much to the experience of my wife or in-laws, though all seemed pleased with their meals. I was too busy chasing my 5 year old around, watching the Purdue-Indiana game at the bar with him to keep him out of trouble, and swatting him from my head, neck, and shoulders as I attempted to order. I didn't even get to step outside, where Ponte's apparently sports a deck overlooking the intracoastal. Unfortunately it was 53 degrees outside, which would be heaven if we were in Brooklyn at this time of year. But for Florida, that's too damn cold. The good: mussels, delicious, cooked to perfection, with a broth you could dip your bread in and enjoy. The not so good: my father-in-law and I clearly ordered Heinekens and the waiter brought Miller Lites. Now, we're all human. But the polyester of beers? Second: the tuna I ordered (medium well) was just way, way too salty. I enjoyed the farro salad underneath, but the fish itself -- not great. Finally: I had pointed out to the waiter the nice 20% off Yelp offer before the meal, and when the check arrived -- you guessed it -- no 20% off. Eventually, that was remedied, and someone approached the table to ask how our meal was, but for me, the mediocrity had set in. I'd like to see 163 Ponte do well and thrive, as I do all restaurants, but in this case, I gotta call 'em as I see 'em, and as I saw 'em, Ponte didn't deliver.

We passed by here a month ago and heard Sinatra playing. We were hooked before we sat down. We finally found the time to eat dinner here and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed every bit from the very welcoming hostess to the end of our meal. We ordered the bruschetta and we could tell it was freshly made. Homemade bread came out with oil and vinegar, very delightful. My husband had the seafood risotto and it did not disappoint. I had the lobster ravioli and it was superb. We will definitely be back. We were surprised that this place wasn't packed to the gills. Until others find out we will enjoy to our hearts content. For our main course we both chose the NY strip. The cut of meat was not the best--but still good. The preparation was perfection! We couldn't have been happier. CHEF-ITIS: A condition that occurs when a restaurant hires a new chef in an effort to transform a mediocre eating establishment into a great restaurant. Significant changes are affected, but the chef, who has been granted supreme authority over menu and food preparation, lacks sufficient talent and/or skills to make improvements and merely creates confusion instead. Symptoms: Frequent 86-ing. You ask the server if the polenta is good. He gives a hearty endorsement. You order it and sit there with a silly grin anticipating the deliciousness, and then, he returns moments later to say it's sold out. No polenta for you. Your only consolation comes from overhearing this same scenario play out for the guy at the next table who's got his heart set on osso buco. Denied! Bad/Missing Ingredients: You settle for the Risotto with Mushrooms and Steak. The steak is way past its prime. Slimy texture, greenish gray color, bad smell. You think the rest of the dish is okay, but you can't be sure because now it's mixed with your tears of disappointment. You realize there's a steak on the menu, and you've fallen victim to a wannabe cost-cutter--when the meat is good, it's served whole; when it starts to go bad, it gets chopped up and thrown into something else, like risotto. Was this chef absent from culinary school on the day they gave the lecture on fresh ingredients being the foundation of good food and he only showed up for "Cutting Food Costs 101?" Treatment: Duration of chef-itis usually brief and recovery can be sudden. Usually the chef gets replaced pretty quickly and things become simpler right away. I really hope this happens at 163 Ponte because it's a beautiful spot and the service staff is really nice.

Unlike typical Italian restaurants, the bruschetta was super fresh with the perfect balance of fragrant olive oil and tasty balsamic vinegar served on wide thin slices of toasty sourdough bread garnished with arugula. Quite a treat and very shareable. If the Caprese salad did not quite follow up visually on the quantitative promise of the bruschetta, it was deceptively fulfilling and admirably delicious with a sizable ball of Buffala cheese laid on thin slices of Pecorino Romano, piled on delicate prosciutto. So much so that I barely grazed at the remarkable stack of delectable truffle fries I'd ordered on the side (don't judge me). Altogether, 163 PONTE deserves way better than the intimate occupancy on this Saturday night with their particularly fresh and copious if traditional Italian cuisine, supported by a very pleasing service in the agreeable setting of a mangrove bordered deck on the Intracoastal. Will come back with Mini-Wifey to make sure to share in the pleasure of the dolce cucina.

Hate to say this but whoever is reviewing this place either is a shill or being paid as aside from the wonderful atmosphere and ambiance and wonderful service well we did come here to eat didn't we? The food was downright awful. Arrive to find Racks / then Soprano's / now 163 Ponte in its place on the ever changing never making it spot on the Intracoastal next to Duffy's. Plenty of free parking and Valet as well right front. From an ambiance perspective nothing has changed great locaiton, gorgeous decor, open windows to the deck to the intracoastal though most is obscured by the mangroves. Sit and chat with my amigo as our server very nice guy gets us a nice bottle of wine. Excellent bread with Garlic oil / dipping is provided as we go over the very basic menu. Flip side has raw bar but NO shrimp cocktail only peel and eat... Man I hate that if I wanted to peel my own shrimp I'd stay home. Anyway some shrimp are ordered and they are simply OK.. to me they were frozen and thawed definitely not fresh as they should be when you have the words Raw Bar in your title. On to a Pizza Margaretta which was really a flat bread not pizza in a traditional way with some cheese tomatoes and spices. This was simply pretty bad as it certainly was not like the previous establishments pizza and it fell flat from every angle. Moving on to a Veal Parm over Pasta. This was downright terrible.. Veal was tough and almost gamey while the pasta was mushy and marinara sauce lacking in anything that resembles good pasta sauce. As stated service was excellent everyone friendly atmosphere great but the food fell flat in every aspect. Barely touched the veal and didn't want to wrap it so moving on.. Place empty on Tuesday night week before Christmas while the sea watch next door was absolutely packed. Unfortunately this place will soon be closing or be replaced with another chance at success but until such time that that happens, I won't be back.

All I wanted to do for Easter Sunday was enjoy a nice Brunch, granted I wanted something with more of an upbeat ambiance, but since my bf had to work we wanted to be closer to home. I am happy that it worked out this way since we randomly came into this location. They had a nice selection for brunch. We sat outside and it was perfect. We both had the steak and eggs which was delicious. What made our experience so much better was the server we had, he was pleasant and took great care of us. After our bruch we had the best tiramisu ever, not only did it taste great but the presentation was nice too. The reason I am not giving this location 5 starts is because I did ask if they could substitute my home fries for sauteed mushrooms and they wouldn't honor it. Had they honored it, it would've received 5 starts for sure. Though I will come again! The tab was $83 for 2 16oz NY strips and eggs with home fries, 3 Mimosa 2 beers and a desert. NOT BAD!

I've been to this Italian restaurant many times already. It's about time I write a review. Every time I went the food was excellent and the service was great. Christopher the manager is very nice, very attentive, and always makes sure everything is right. I've had pasta and pizza. My pasta favorites are the PAPPARDELLE BOLOGNESE and the RED SNAPPER LIVORNESE. My pizza favorite is the ARUGULA. The prices are reasonable and the ambience is nice because you can sit inside or outside. They have many great wines and cocktails, also reasonably priced. I would one day love to see Ossobuco on the menu. mmm yum yum.

We had a dinner reservation for my birthday at this restaurant through OpenTable. 02/15/2015 at 8:30 pm. It was an empty dining room when we arrived, and floor rubber mats were partially rolled up. Only one table outside was taken. We were seated outside and assured that restaurant is open and ready to serve us. The waiter was very nice, he informed us that restaurant is out of raw oysters, everything else is in stock. Nothing that we ordered was available. We had to changed our order twice. The green salad arrived had only lettuce and eggs in it. No mixed greens, no onions, no avocado listed in the menu. The manager Chris start yelling and cursing using F* word . We left and had perfect dinner at the Sea Grill restaurant next door. We did not call police only because that was my birthday and we did not want to ruin it. Very poor management. Very limited chefs/cooks skills. Unacceptable behavior.

Have been here many times. I usually only write a review after I have tried the place a couple times. Every time I have been here I have left very satisfied. I've dined here for lunch, brunch, happy hour, and dinner. Each time service was on point, and food excellent! Reasonable prices and great atmosphere. Waterfront dinning, bar that is in back of restaurant, open kitchen with wood burning pizza oven. Happy Hour includes $5 wine, $5 martini, half off pizza and oysters. Each time they have had great specials available too. Well organized and managed establishment, with a bright future. I am definitely spreading the good word and believe you should try it for yourself.

This restaurant is an abomination to the sanctity of the Italian restaurant. The food was horrible. It was either over or undercooked and had absolutely no flavour to speak of. The atmosphere was non existent and the staff were slow and dimwitted. This restaurant was extremely over prices for food and service my dog would turn its nose up at. We both had the steak and eggs which was delicious. What made our experience so much better was the server we had, he was pleasant and took great care of us. After our bruch we had the best tiramisu ever, not only did it taste great but the presentation was nice too. The reason I am not giving this location 5 starts is because I did ask if they could substitute my home fries for sauteed mushrooms and they wouldn't honor it. Had they honored it, it would've received 5 starts for sure. Though I will come again! The tab was $83 for 2 16oz NY strips and eggs with home fries, 3 Mimosa 2 beers and a desert. NOT BAD!

Such a fun night. Very good food. Excellent service and a particularly attentive manager. Our friends had been before and we're insistent we went to 163 Ponte & were not disappointed. Thoroughly recommend. Dine and relax a great way to enjoy the company of relations and friends.

I've been to this Italian restaurant many times already. It's about time I write a review. Every time I went the food was excellent and the service was great. Christopher the manager is very nice, very attentive, and always makes sure everything is right. I've had pasta and pizza. My pasta favorites are the PAPPARDELLE BOLOGNESE and the RED SNAPPER LIVORNESE. My pizza favorite is the ARUGULA. The prices are reasonable and the ambience is nice because you can sit inside or outside. They have many great wines and cocktails, also reasonably priced. I would one day love to see Ossobuco on the menu. mmm yum yum.

We had a dinner reservation for my birthday at this restaurant through OpenTable. 02/15/2015 at 8:30 pm. It was an empty dining room when we arrived, and floor rubber mats were partially rolled up. Only one table outside was taken. We were seated outside and assured that restaurant is open and ready to serve us. The waiter was very nice, he informed us that restaurant is out of raw oysters, everything else is in stock. Nothing that we ordered was available. We had to changed our order twice. The green salad arrived had only lettuce and eggs in it. No mixed greens, no onions, no avocado listed in the menu. The manager Chris start yelling and cursing using F* word . We left and had perfect dinner at the Sea Grill restaurant next door. We did not call police only because that was my birthday and we did not want to ruin it. Very poor management. Very limited chefs/cooks skills. Unacceptable behavior.

Have been here many times. I usually only write a review after I have tried the place a couple times. Every time I have been here I have left very satisfied. I've dined here for lunch, brunch, happy hour, and dinner. Each time service was on point, and food excellent! Reasonable prices and great atmosphere. Waterfront dinning, bar that is in back of restaurant, open kitchen with wood burning pizza oven. Happy Hour includes $5 wine, $5 martini, half off pizza and oysters. Each time they have had great specials available too. Well organized and managed establishment, with a bright future. I am definitely spreading the good word and believe you should try it for yourself.

This restaurant is an abomination to the sanctity of the Italian restaurant. The food was horrible. It was either over or undercooked and had absolutely no flavour to speak of. The atmosphere was non existent and the staff were slow and dimwitted. This restaurant was extremely over prices for food and service my dog would turn its nose up at. I would rather have my taste buds removed and hydrochloride acid pored in my eyes than have to look at let alone eat here ever again.

The bartender Ron was amazing but kitchen was understaffed. Had amazing food but it took a really long time. Would have given it 5 stars if the kitchen could have produced food sooner. Great restaurant,
