Only been once so far as we are new in town, but had a great experience. Food was great and server was eager to ensure we were happy. I was surprised they weren't busier for a Friday night...that might not last if word gets out. Check it out!

This is a really good authentic Thai place. Order "Thai hot", you will not be disappointed. Best Tom Ka Kai I've had in a long time. If you're in Niceville, give this place a try.

So yummy! Eat here almost twice a week! They have gotten so much better, curry is delicious, staff is friendly, and I have never had a bad experience!!

Excellent food at a great price. The Thai fried rice with chicken can't be beat for lunch. $7.99 included a salad, spring roll and fruit. The rice and chicken is always cooked well with lots of fresh ingredients and spice. Staff is always quick and friendly.

I am new to the area and have tried three different thai restaurants within town already. I have yet to find authentic pad thai but this place beats the other two places I tried.

I wasn't super impressed with Thai 101. First my food came out before my sisters and we sat and waited until hers arrived. Then when we started eating my Pad Thai tasted like the chicken was bad or microwaved. We had two different girls wait on us the entire meal and one smelled strongly of cigarettes. My sisters food tasted great, but overall not a great experience.

The food was great and I love the fact that they offered Vegan friendly meal options. The staff was friendly and the meals were reasonably priced.

Best Thai spot fellow fat kid and I have found. We make our own Thai, this was the first place we have found that satisfied our cravings. We will be back.

I was hoping for some good Thai food bit everything just didn't taste very fresh and service wasn't very good either

Typical thai. Since I make my own thai, not impressed. The potatoes were undercooked. Not happy, you can find better in Ft Walton Beach.

Its small place and food is not great at all. Its not worth your money...not authentic food. San Francisco California has way better food.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Niceville. I usually only order the Chicken Pad Thai to go, but I have tried the Basil Chicken and fried wontons also. The Pad Thai is great and is on par with some of the better Thai restaurants in the area. Great flavor, spice, and includes all the Pad Thai flare such as shredded carrots, cabbage, peanuts and lime wedge. The dine in experience is so-so and I agree with some of the other reviewers in that regard, but I rarely eat in as I am usually on a short lunch break. This place is a must try!

This place rocked my larb gai. It looked like a complete hole in the wall on the outside but was crowded both times we dropped by. Outstanding Tom Kha soup with just the right amount of cilantro and lemongrass. Excellent Nam Sod (pork salad) with an excellent burn...and best of all, this place was cheap. There are several thai places in the immediate area but don't waste your time with the others.

Great food, decent atmosphere and quick service. The price is just right also. There is plenty to eat for lunch (they have a convenient lunch menu). I recommend the Chicken Larb. ENJOY!

Very nice little Thai place with good sushi!! Tried the spicy tuna roll , the wonton soup, and the taro boba (tapioca) tea and was very pleased with all three! The interior of the restaurant is quite nicely decorated with Thai stuff and colorfully painted.. The selection of Thai dishes is fairly extensive. There are a few Chinese-esque things (a.k.a. wonton soup, which I at least thought was Chinese rather than Thai, but perhaps eaten in Thailand also?) The sushi selection is quite limited, however the sushi which I ordered was quite good and the presentation of the sushi was also nice.. Service was friendly. Prices are low.. Fairly near the Northwest Florida Regional Airport so convenient if coming or going from there (as I was). And there is a nature trail to walk on right behind the restaurant for post meal exercise..

Worst. Thai. Ever. My order wasn't prepared the way I requested. I asked for pineapple added to my red curry, but instead my curry had ants in it ("Oh, sorry!" they responded). Veggie rolls appetizer: Not fully cooked and didn't smell appetizing (likely a frozen product). Service with a smile, but not with care. No sincerity. Better skip Thai in Niceville. Total price of lost appetite: $15. I left without finishing the food. There's got to be something better in Fort Walton... Or one can hope.

I was also very disappointed with this restaurant, and agree with a previous reviewer about experiencing "service with a smile but without a care." I ordered the kwul teal, or noodle soup, and half the ingredients that are supposed to come with it (and are listed on the menu), didn't! When I asked about what happened to the ingredients I was told simply that they "were out" and would make me something else. No deal. You should have told me when I ordered it that you were out of most of the goodies. Besides that, I had already waitied a good while just to get the soup. My lunch time was basically up and I had to return to work -- hungry.

Great little Thai place. Having spent 7 years in Bangkok, I can attest to the originality. As with most places in Thailand, they will make do with what they have if all the original ingredients are not available. This place is original folks. If you haven't been to Thailand and eaten in the small food stalls along the streets, you should go and experience it. Thai 101 is my kind of place!

My wife and I usually travel over to Ft. Walton Beach to pick up our Thai food because we just cant get good Thai food in Niceville. So when this place opened we were excited. We decided to order take-out and we ordered the basics of Thai food. Thai Beef salad and Beef Pad Thai. Nothing simpler on any Thai menu. I opened the Pad Thai and something just jumped out at me. Where are all the glorious Thai peppers? The noodles were cooked perfectly as far as tenderness. But, tasted like someone just threw some rice noodles in the wok with a little peanut oil and served. No seasoning at all. I was confused so I added my own Thai peppers to it. My wife just wouldn't shut-up about her Beef salad. She said "It tastes like I'm eating sweet & sour salad minus the lettuce." I lived in Thailand for years. So, I know all about the four regions of Thai cooking. Just can't quite place this region. But, on the bright side, If you like Suwadee Thai in Niceville , you will love this place! It's better than Suwadee Thai. Just not good.

This place is small but really good. A mom and pop kinda place it really is good Thai food. I had the Crispy Duck which was wonderful to even find duck but to my surprise they light it at the table. It was quiet for dinner but lunch time it is packed. Try the wrapped shrimp starter-yummy.
