Their pulled pork is some of the best I've had (and I love BBQ). The texture is perfect, appearance is spot on with a bit of char, and the taste is outstanding. LOTS of smokey flavor! I keep going back for the pork so one of these days I'll venture out and get ribs & brisket but if you're undecided go for pork! You can have it classic (southern) style or North Carolina style (vinegar based).

We ordered the beef brisket family meal. For $36.50 plus tax we received 5 cold, nasty and tough slices of brisket, 6 stale buns, 1 pint of bland baked beans and 1 pint of so so potato salad. We ask to include an order of mac & cheese and were charged $6.50 for the pint. We have eaten here in the past and it was ok, but this was the last time they will ever get money out of us....very disappointed!!! I have had better tasting MREs. Please don't waste your time or your money here!

Their cheese biscuits are amazing ! If you go to the destin location they are served free in your table but in the Niceville drive thru location they are not. The service is great at both locations. You can't ever go wrong with the pulled port sandwich. My coworker also gets the pork loaded potato and said its very satisfying and delusions.

YOUCH! Pricey for fast food. I believe they are a franchise also. So def not a local restaurant.

Food was ok I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and just got pulled pork. No bread just vingary pulled pork. Lucky the Mac and cheese and potato salad were good. Cheese biscuits are ok. This place is also quite expensive. 40 something bucks for a family if 3. It's take out not ruby Tuesday. Hog heaven down the road is a better alternative

A friend told me about this place so I checked it out. My favorite is the chicken strips with honey mustard. The fries are not all that great, kinda soggy for me, but the flavor is good. The service is very friendly, they messed up my drink order and let me keep both drinks. It is slightly more expensive than fast food, but it's because it's not really fast food. Although it is just a drive around, no seating. Still a good place to eat in Niceville Fl.

Food is ALWAYS delicious. Wait time was pretty reasonable also. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with fries and cheddar biscuits. Price is fair and food is good.

Food is always fantastic and call ahead orders is a must on a bust weekend night. Really need to streamline their drive through service

This establishment gets 4 stars... for BBQ in *this* particular area/locale. Let me review it this way - my top PROS: the meats obviously are smoked, have a good flavor; you can tell that effort has been put into the sides (in this case I'm really talking about their baked beans. They have added ingredients and meat, are of a thicker consistency, and taste pretty good); the cheese biscuits are yummy. CONS: this place is on the pricey side; the lemonade has some kind of aftertaste to it IMO, kind of reminds me of glue. Overall, it's worth a visit.

What they do, they do very, very well. Love the fries, the pulled pork, and the coleslaw. No complaints here. I go back again and again. My one wish, were I able to modify this place just a little bit, is to make the "menu" a bit easier to read (it's pretty "busy" for a drive-through), so people can make a timely decision on what they want. Overall...really good. And the ladies who man the window are always pleasant and helpful.

In on Monday for the Smoked Meatloaf plate which is $8.99 - really?? it's meatloaf...BUT, it's smoked, so we ante'd up (BTW smoked meatloaf is AWESOME if you can find it!!) Got home & opened the lid: "Very disappointed" doesn't really cover it. One slice of meatloaf and a side of mashed potatoes looked pitiful - the two mini-cheese muffins don't make up for that other side. Most places for a meal you'll get one meat, two sides & a bread - not here. My husband REALLY wasn't happy! This wasn't lunch - it was dinner! (I did have the option to add another side & bring the meal up to over $11 - not including a drink - it's a BBQ joint folks - & it's drive thru.) Spent $33 here for dinner (for two adults & 1 child) & felt ripped off - & still hungry. The smoked meatloaf was good - just VERY spicy - too spicy for my 10 year old. Felt rushed by the wait staff at the drive thru board. Overall, return on investment - poor, thus, one star. Sorry...

Despite a pretty bad location, the quality of food has kept these guys in business. That location has seen several failed attempts. But this place defies poor location. Great BBQ.

Seasoned fries are awesome, and filling, yummy BBQ, delicious bread. Also they make their lemonade from lemons and fresh every day. They cater, the only down side is there is no inside dining for the price you pay.

Was very surprised to see an express unit. Definetley not as good as their full service units. Pork was as good as always but the ribs were tough and dry. They were also out of the brisket and baked potatoes. Think they need to rethink this style of restaurant.

Consistently the best BBQ in Niceville. All of their meats are equally good, and their sauce is great. The only negative is that they tend to run out of certain menu items near closing time.

Understand what this is: a drive thru BBQ place which can fill individual meals or a big order, in a short time, and everyone who likes BBQ will be satisfied. You can phone ahead and go thru a second drive thru entrance for pickup; on holiday weekends it's still pretty busy, but a great last-minute option. We fed a group of 6 adults and 5 under-12s for about $90. Food is well above average: good brisket, pulled pork, ribs, all sides we tried (cole slaw, potato salad, beans) were fresh and good quality. Don't underestimate the number of cheddar biscuits you need--they are smallish, inexpensive, and go very fast. Though it's not cheap-cheap, it's comparable with what you'll pay in most similar places--you won't be disappointed with the food. Staff at the window is always personable, efficient, and military-friendly. Good organization overall.

After spending my first 30 years on the West Coast, I was not a big fan of BBQ/Mesq. After moving out here to Niceville I reluctantly tried this place out after exhausting the few places there is to eat in this town. I was immediately hooked! Thus place serves up delicious man sized portions of deliciously moist and mesquite flavored chicken/pork/beef. If you looking for a quick fix, mention the "Piggy Express Combo" where you can get a sandwich, side, and drink for a locals only price. If you need to feed a friend or two, get the family meal for 4 which includes a meat, two sides, and some cheese muffins which I am convinced contain crack in them (in other words, they are delicious =) ). **This location is drive-thru only. They also have a separate window for phone-orders **

This is a drive-thru place for BBQ. I ordered the ribs and beef brisket combo plate and it was so-so. The ribs were good with a nice hickory flavor. But beef brisket was dry and flaky. It was like it was cooked the day before. It had no flavor and ended up throwing it away. For over $20, I expected more.

I like this place because its a drive through!!! The meats have good amount of smoke and never dry. Their sauce is great. I'm not jumping up and down for their sides. Don't get me wrong, good sides for a drive through, but just missing it for being great. Their coleslaw wasn't great, it's bland. Their sides are middle of the road for me. I mainly go here for the convenience and their meats are really good. I will probably not bother with their sides next time and just get the brisket and pull pork. Their brisket is my favorite. So good.

The BBQ is fairly good and they have a good selection on their menu. The location is a drive through only.

This place would get five stars but it is only a drive thru with no outside tables and they are a little pricey for a bbq sandwich. The bbq is mustard based but very good. Their cheese biscuts are great even thou they cost $4 for 6 of them! The baked beans are pretty good too with pieces of bbq pork in them. You can choose from multiple meats for your sandwich from pork to chicken to turkey and on. Going to try the restaurant down in destin to get a better feel for their food.

Ordered chicken tenders- tasted like dead fish. Don't they know to use different grease btw chicken and fish? Horrible!

When you don't feel like cooking or going out, Jim n Nicks drive thru is the place to go. I love their pork and mac and cheese. The tiny biscuits are good too. One star off because the prices are higher than expected and the menu is confusing.

I love love love Jim n Nicks. For a BBQ chain they are pretty darn good. However, I absolutely hate this location. It's drive through only so your food will get cold by the time you get back to where ever you're going. Also, I would absolutely LOVE to eat a Piggy Potato for lunch one day, but they NEVER have potatoes available? Why even have an item in your menu that's never available??? I went twice this week and both times the potatoes were allegedly being baked and one time I got there right at 11! SO frustrating. Because it's drive through only, it can be a bit time consuming since the line sometimes does not move too fast. Also, it can get a bit pricey. If there are no potatoes (which is all of the time) I always go for the salad with either chicken or brisket. I wish the meat serving with the salad was larger though. The biscuits are aaamazing and the sweet tea is great. I really wish there was a location in FWB. Niceville and Destin are a bit of a drive for me.

The cheese biscuits are great. In the barbecue sauce is pretty good probably one of the best drive thrus in niceville.

wow not great - expensive - small portions and when we went the pork and the ribs were dry....not what you expect for the money. The little cheese biscuits are delish tho.....

Without a doubt the best BBQ in the area. Can't go wrong with any of the meats, or the mashed potatoes and Mac & Cheese. Cheesy biscuits are small so order the half dozen. Take out only in Niceville, but they're quick.

So it's a drive thru bar-b-q joint, and the line stays about four to five cars deep at dinner. But the line moved quick. The food portions are decent and the service was real polite and courteous. The potato salad had a bit to much pickle for my liking. However the hand cut fries had just the right amount of seasoning. Finally I had the beef briquet and it was done very well, but the sauces are what made it a meal worth eating. I'll be a return customer.

Jim and Nicks in Niceville I am addicted to. We always get pulled pork, turkey, greens and mac and cheese. Those little cheese biscuits -- a no for belly fat, but a tiny slice of heaven -- and the honey butter: Stop, you're killin' me. How about the generous portion of barbecue sauce. Bonus: Lots of plastic containers to use after your done eating. And a real bone for doggie! There's something our corporate world frowns on. okay, portions are great -- what they call one meal is two meals for us, with a little leftover for doggie. taste? turkey and pork melt in the mouth.

The best baby back ribs in Northwest Florida. Where did the awesome chili cheese fries go?
