Great place for Chinese takeout with reasonable prices. There is seating for 20 people inside....nothing fancy. We ordered the wonton and hot-sour soup. Both were delicious. Wonton had a large piece of pork in the middle. The hot and sour soup had just the right amount of spice and large pieces of tofu. The pork egg fou young was amazing. Fresh pieces of veggies inside the party with a yummy brown gravy. The chicken almond ding had fresh diced chicken, veggies and whole almonds. The sauce is a white non spicy sauce. Celery and carrots were still crunchy. Staff was friendly. Our order took 25 min on a Sunday at 4pm. Plenty of parking on side or front of restaurant.

Guys- it's really bad... Half the reviews were glowing, and the other half said this place was terrible. Decided to gamble, and give it a go. We didn't get food poisoning or anything like that, but it certainly wasn't an enjoyable experience. The food just tasted terrible- like it came out of a bag, and was microwaved over several months. We got several different dishes, and they were all of the same poor quality... and texture??? (Shiver)

If you're expecting a standard Chinese takeout joint, you will be disappointed to find out that China is well below standard. Which in my opinion is a difficult task since my expectations for Chinese takeout are already low. Imagine my surprise to learn how truly horrible Chinese takeout can really taste. Both the fried and steamed dumplings were extremely dense and the mystery meat inside was, well...mystery meat. If you are thinking to order wonton soup, you'd be better off buying a 15 cent ramen noodle from Publix. The Singapore mei fun...was less than fun. The best way I could describe it is grainy, as if my mouth was filled with beach sand. (I hope what I just ingested doesn't make me sick. Only time will tell.) Overall, my dinner turned out to be inedible. I couldn't even eat the crunchy bits that come with the wonton soup as they turned out to be stale. I never expected China to be a delicacy however, I think a minimal expectation for Chinese takeout is that it fills the belly. China failed.

Delicious chinese food. Not sure what the other poor ratings are, but this is better than most places in other major cities. Pleasant surprise here, ate with other people who all agreed this place is high quality. Fried rice is great.

We were tired after a long day traveling so decided some Chinese delivery would be just the ticket. NOT! On the positive side, their delivery was very quick. On the negative side, the food was just plain awful. We both love Chinese so have eaten at many different restaurants. This is by far the worst we've ever had! Next stop, the DQ in New Smyrna Beach which we hear is the best in the nation. Counting on it to fill our tummies!

Very simply, worse than bad. If you need to gain some weight for a physical in the next few days order anything. The water retention from all the salt will take care of everything. Food???? Run away.

Not sure y the rating is so low? We really enjoy this place. Food is good & to go orders r always accurate. Only thing I've gotten here I don't like is the egg foo young. It has no flavor. But otherwise u can get white meat & they will lightly fry items so they aren't hard little balls. I really lime the wonton soup & there low main noodles r great too. I mean ive had better but maybe once. But I've definitely had worse than here too.

Waited an hour and fifteen minutes for delivery after being told twenty minutes, then received cold food. On top of that the order was wrong. Usually you could expect a discount or credit for a wrong order that was paid for with a credit card but they would not. They did offer to send the correct order but why so I can wait another hour and fifteen minutes for my food. Will not be going here again!

I have been ordering from China for over 15 years. I had an issue once where I wasn't sure if what I ate there, or what we ate somewhere else, was the culprit of a tummy ache and even though I told them that, they made up for it the next time I ordered. I'm not sure what happened with Lauren N.'s mom because I'm surprised. If you are from up in the New York/New Jersey area, this is the closest I've found that is like up home. The food is really good in my opinion and you can ask for customizations and such if you want to change the standard dish. The owner also makes homemade dumpling sauce, duck sauce and hot mustard and they are yummy as well as the food. I have had quite a few dishes off the menu but my favorites are the cream cheese wonton, hot and sour soup, shrimp toast, dumplings (fried), house special mein fun and shrimp with lobster sauce. The customer service is excellent. They know their regulars by voice half the time, especially one person in particular there. I can't say enough good about them.

My 70 year old mother just got food poisoning from this restaurant. She called them and they said she shouldnt have eaten the food without microwaving it first?!? Not even an apology! She has known them for years! Be careful if you have grandparents or older parents because when they live by themselves...food poisoning with the older folks is especially dangerous!

This is your typical Chinese restaurant, and was pretty dirty. However, our host told us it's the only place in New Smyrna Beach and gets really busy. The food was just OK (think food court at the mall) and did have large portions.

Good food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Make sure you order ahead and are not in a rush as it may take some time to get your order. We love. This place for take out. Not sure that I would want to eat in the restaurant itself as it is VERY dated and uncomfortable furnishings.

I like China! The portions are huge and the food I pretty darn good. Lots of veggies in the fried rice. Yummy!

Oh my, I love my friends that told me this place was good but I'm sure they were in an altered state of mind. This is tacky, greasy, slimy kinda food. I think some late night munchies must have been involved. Walk the other way because this same shopping plaza has at least 3 other restaurants that are decent. Check them out

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
