Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Really kind of disappointed with Tijuana flats today I ask for verde sauce on both my items on the enchilada had it my husband order was dry also he ask for double black beans got two refine beans instead. The lady that took our order was more concerned about the catering order then making sure she finish with our order. We usually have good experience here but today's literally sucked

Good food at a good price, taco Tuesdays and burrito Thursdays make it even a better deal. Staff always checks for refills on drinks.

Yuck! The only thing keeping this from being a one star is their service. Got chicken enchiladas. Ever try those premade package dinners that don't need refrigeration? That's what the chicken is like in these... Squares of chicken. Dry and mealy. The tortillas were hard on the under side - much like the texture of a tamale shell. The rice had a strange flavor. But hooray! The refried beans were good. Will try their tacos on Tuesday when they run their special offer, but it won't be the chicken tacos!!

My husband eats here at least once per week. Everyone there knows him by name. Since you can customize everything I can get a healthier version of anything on their menu. The staff will refill drinks and are super friendly. Love the sauce bar.

The staff is amazing and the food is absolutely delicious! I eat here seriously every Tuesday night after work. It is well worth a visit!

Love this place! This was my first time here and we will def be back! A fun place to take your kids, or hang out with friends!!! Sign up for their newsletter and get a free chip trio! It's a very trendy atmosphere and good is great!

Stopped by for lunch with my children today, which happened to be Cinco de Mayo and Taco Tuesday! I had no idea a bunch of hot young women could work so well together. They were super friendly and attentive to all of the customers. There wasn't a dirty table in the house and the restrooms were clean. Kudos to the manager and the staff. The food was good. The endless guacamole was a pleasant surprise and the fish tacos were good enough to order again. My daughter had the bangin chicken burrito which she really liked. Overall it was a really pleasant experience and I felt like it was money well spent. I hate nothing more than paying for bad service and mediocre food but today just wasn't one of those days!

The original plan was to go to another eatery in the same plaza, but the wait time was 40 minutes and we were hungry. Given that we didn't want to wait that long, we decided to eat at Tijuana flats. The service was prompt, the girls were very pleasant as they took care of the lobby, as they took care of our needs. The food was out fast, and was exactly what we ordered. we were quite pleased with everything.

Very impressed!! This place ran like a well oiled machine. Staff was friendly, management was on the floor. It had been several years since I've been to a Tijuana Flats, but the waitress quickly made some recommendations. Food was great, our drinks were constantly refilled, staff was happy, and the place was clean. Will be back soon :)

This is mine and my husband's favorite go to place. The food has never disappointed. The girls are always friendly and very polite. And, they have the best ice, it's the small crunchy kind which makes the drinks that much better. The Bangin chicken tostadas are my favorite.

Dropped back in at the Trinity location after a long absence the service is still stellar for what it is. The vegetarian selection can be had not sure how strict. Super older kid friendly because of small space aka intimate space. Love it!!

Good food and friendly staff. I like the hot sauce bar, try them all.

I like Tijuana flats! But the service here is amazing! I used to work across the street so I would be in once a week. The manager and staff really goes out of their way to make sure you have a great experience.

Tijuana Flats is always consistently good food and great friendly service. Love the hot sauce bar, chips and salsa, and sweet tea. Their tea is always 'good' and not skunked, which is harder to find in FL then you'd expect. Now that their kids options include fresh fruit in addition to the m&ms and artificially sweetened applesauce, I have no complaints. Thanks for listening to your customers! (Ok, one small complaint, bring the raspberry sweet tea back please :-) )

I usually refrain from writing reviews on chain restaurants but my dining experience last night was so bad I had to share. We usually get take out from this location but we occasionally dine in and the food has always been fresh tasting and delicious. Not last night. I ordered a blackened chicken burrito that was terrible! First of all the chicken did not taste like blackened chicken. Instead the chicken cubes were just tossed in a very salty, spicy mixture - yuck! I have had their blackened chicken before but it never tasted like this - almost inedible. I ordered the Megajuana size for $1.50 more and there was double the chicken in it but there was little, if any cheese even though that should have been doubled as well. Half of the burrito was just the disgusting chicken with nothing else, the other half had some measly stands of lettuce, two and I mean only two, slices of jalapeno and I needed a microscope to identify what I thought was tomatoes. No onions. Sour cream? I don't think so. I'm glad my wife got extra on the side as I needed to add it to my burrito. The burrito didn't even look like the tortilla was ever toasted and very sloppily wrapped. For over $8 this was one of the worst burritos I have ever eaten. Again the food here has been good in the past but lately the quality, at least for our take out orders, has gone downhill. With so many excellent dining options available in the Trinity area I am taking this Tijuana Flats off my list.

I love this place. This is my favorite restaurant. I can't get enough of the dos tacos. Don't forget about the Tijuana trio. Cover it all in ghost sauce and it's a slice of heaven. I live kind of far away and some how always find a way to make it there for taco Tuesday. The staff is always top notch and they keep your drinks full and management is very attentive and makes sure everyone is smiling and enjoying their visit.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff but most importantly great food. Prices are reasonable. Seated fairly quick for a Saturday night. Next time would like to try more of their specials.

After writing my first review I did not expect to ever hear anything back in regards to the matter. Boy was I mistaken!! I was contacted by not only the business owner but the general manager too. They were deeply regretful for what had happened the last time we were here, invited us back, and offered to pay for our next meal. Food came out absolutely perfect and quick!! Definitely will be back again. Thank you to Brian and Stefanie for your prompt attention and going beyond your duty to ammend the situation.

From first impression when you walk in its mildly confusing. You see tables and a wait staff, so you assume you should sit down, only to find out is mainly a glorified fast food routine with waitresses. The staff was very nice no complaints there. The food was good, small portions and slightly over priced for the portion sizes.

Funky Mexican burrito joint - cool decor and music. "OK" food - pretty bland actually, but they have a "hot bar" with at least 15 signature salsas to spice it up... Many vegetarian options, with whole wheat tortillas available... Kids eat free on certain nights - and are treated with crayons, candy, and tattoos. Free drink refills, and dollar draft beer specials too!
(3)Scarlet J.
I thought this was just average and commercial tasting. The hot sauce bar is neat but that's the only thing memorable.

I love this place for a quick, cheap meal. Fresh ingredients and quick service. What more can you ask for? Oh yeah, and churros! The kids meals are perfect and nicely priced, the salsa is fresh and yummy.
(4)Jackie B.
Too bland. You have to douse the food in hot sauce to get any kind of flavor. Beer is warm too.
