Great Happy Hour, Couldn't find friendlier service and pet friendly on the patio if your out with 4 footed friends. Daily meal and drink specials. Live entertainment. Always a great time and they DELIVER lunch!

In my opinion (which, of course, is absolutely correct at all times), this is the best place in Naples to go for your basic pub food. Great appetizers include steamers, nachos, jalapeno poppers, and my personal favorite, the bucket o' balls ($4.95). The pizzas are better than the pizza that most pizza places serve. We like the Garden Patch Pizza ($11.99) which comes with red sauce, spinach, mushrooms, onions, olives, and tomatoes. They often have pizza specials such as seafood pizza or taco pizza. The Buffalo Chicken Wrap ($7.99) is a winner. The salads are good as well and reasonably priced at 9 bucks or under. The main entrees - forget it. This place is about the pub food. They should just give up on the entrees. I have ordered entrees here on two different occasions and was disappointed both times. Though you can frequently find two for one coupons, they typically are only good for the entrees. Even for half price, I will not order the entrees. I will stick with the pizzas, the burgers, and the appetizers. They have a decent selection of beers, wines, as well as a full bar. They probably have desserts, but again, this is not the type of place where you should expect much from desserts. Instead, order another beer or get another order of hot wings. Nightly specials include $5 burger night on Tuesdays and free appetizers (only until they run out) on Fridays. We are big fans of this place and go regularly. It is probably the tenth restaurant to try to succeed in this building in the past 15 years, but this one will make it (we hope). We can always get in without a wait, and though we are worried that too many people will find out about it, at the same time, we want the place to succeed and be here for years to come. So head on over and try it out. Just don't take the last table!

What a great place for downtown Naples! We love it chuck the owner is fantastic, great food and prices. Try the old bay fries!!

We went for lunch and had the burger specials. The prices were good. We sat outside on the patio. There was one other table out there. We never got a napkin or silverware. I asked the waitress for some ranch dressing which she never brought. In fact after she delivered our food she never once came back. The burger was over cooked but my food was getting cold so we ate. The food was good but not great. For the price I was happy. After we finished we sat talking to the other table waiting about 15 mins for our check. Finally we went in to pay. When we told the manger in a very nice way she offered us a free dessert but we declined. If it had been busy poor service may have been excused. But not this time. We will never return

Don't tell the tourists cuz this is a local joint. Great service, private room for larger party, owner will work with you, like she bought veggie burgers for my hubby but not in menu, so ask. Amazing mussels, ask for a spoon cuz you will want to drink the red sauce. They have the usual pub food, but also specials like sundays is $5 pizza (full size), if you eat outside your doggie gets free ice cream. I tried to get my husband to bark but they didn't buy it. The best salad in all of Naples, forget the name but its an Asian fusion with ginger, wasabi peas, select greens, you would never think the combo would work but it does, do not know anyone that has NOT liked it. AND I am weird, I am a veggie that hates veggies and salads! THIS I LIKE! Good for family, drunks (cheap drinks) and a group that has picky eaters (varied menu). Only place that is good, yet during season we can walk in, so, don't tell anyone else, just you cuz you're special to me.

It is refreshing to find a place in Naples that stands out as a bit different from the rest. Shady Palm Pub is casual and eccentric with a Key West feel. The food is just average, but each time has been an enjoyable experience and I recommend, it's worth trying out.

Great bar with very friendly bartenders and attentive service. I've only sat at the bar so I don't know how the restaurant is. The shady palm has a very large menu with original items from seafood, chicken pasta, burgers, and pizza. The pizza is actually pretty good. Also, there are always tons of specials from daily specials to drink specials for every night. We went on a Tuesday and then on a Thurs. There was live music but it was just the right volume so we weren't screaming at each other but actually enjoyed it. The bartenders obviously take a lot of pride in the restaurant and they make great recommendations. I would not recommend this bar for romancing someone or trying to impress someone because it is casual and has kind of a mexican restaurant ambiance. I would say this is a great place for getting out of the house and having a low key night, chatting with friends, getting really drunk (whatever suits you), or having a casual business meeting. Just an everyday "I feel like a drink place." The outdoor seating looks nice, although it's been too hot to sit out there. The bathrooms are also clean. I only gave 4 stars because this is more of a casual bar.

Great dive bar in Old Naples. Cheap drinks and good food. Pizza and calzones are excellent. Fries are good. Great pub food in a divey atmosphere in downtown Naples.

Can you say S. L. O. W. service? OMG, we were the only two customers in the entire restaurant, and it took 35 minutes to get the food! Seating and taking the order was quick, then it was the long wait. The St Louis ribs were as we expected - Spare Ribs with lots of fat - that's what St Louis ribs are. The portion size was good for $10.99. The small container of cole slaw was good, as were the french fries. We were out looking for new places to eat in Naples and quickly concluded that we won't return to this one.

Bob is the best! Definitely the best place to go for cheap drinks in Naples that are sure to do the trick.

Wow, so I've been here twice now within a few months. Now that things are slowing down a bit, mostly locals are sitting about the bar trying to get Naples facts straight over cocktails, which was fun to eavesdrop in on. The place itself has bright colors inside to give it a very coastal feel. Everything is very clean, the bar itself is very wide, tons of space for about 20 customers to belly up to and the gentleman behind the bar was absolutely outstanding. He was quick to make drinks for my friends and I, keep the waters full and even kept an eye on us as we moved between the interior and exterior so my friends could enjoy a smoke. We all shared the spinach and artichoke dip and the cheesy Maryland fries. When you go here, you MUST try both as they are dynamite. The fries are seasoned perfectly with Old Bay and have a large ramekin of their house made cheese sauce. Oh, man, that plate of fries lasted just slightly longer than Justin Bieber's popularity. My friend also ordered one of the salads, which was huge and all the ingredients were extremely fresh. She couldn't stop raving about it. So, overall, the food was on point. The menu is huge and there are daily specials, all priced under 10 bucks as well. Check this place out. It's a refreshing local place that knows how to do everything right for a casual meal with friends. I will be back soon!

Two stars - 1 star for food, 3 stars for the bar. Our experience seems somewhat different than most We ate here on vacation. Now given that some of the kitchen staff may have been away on holiday, perhaps that explains our dinner..... 1) Chips in nachos were stale 2) The "cheesy" fries were over salted and the "cheese" sauce was almost tasteless. 3) Pizza was soggy. 4) Salad was acceptable. I could go on. Drinks and tap beer were fine! I'm not going to give this one a second try, especially as there are so many other better places in the area.

One night, my wife and I drove down 41 uninspired about where to eat. We agreed to just stop at the next restaurant we noticed - and that was the shady palm. We have been back 5 times in the last two months. Great food - always fresh and tasty. We love the specials. the "tour de sliders" sampler platter is a great deal and always a favorite. Service is a bit on the slow side sometimes, but always very friendly.

Wow! What a nice find! Mini-vacation in Naples for the weekend and passed this place walking to the trendy 5th Avenue S and wondered what it was like inside, so we drove there from the hotel and was pleasantly surprised. Nice little place, clean and although full of regulars at the bar wasn't noisy at all. The food was great and the service wasn't rushed and our waitress Blanche was friendly and helpful to us first timers. If it wasn't a two hour drive from home, would definitely go there more often.

Very unassuming place but it's great. And dog friendly! They give your dogs doggie ice cream (yogurt/banana/peanut butter) if you sit outside. We had the taco salad and burger. Both very good.

Horrible experience.. ordered a drink and over 30 minutes have passed and they still didn't come to ask for my order.. A very, very odd place. The girl at the bar was very nice, but that's about it. Never coming back

We've been to the Shady Palm several times and are never disappointed. Great food and they make many things from scratch and cold beer. Bring a bit of time because it can get really busy but this is an awesome place. Love the wings and the slider trio that they have on special some Saturdays is fantastic!

fun place, the scene changes everytime you walk in, sometimes full of suit & tie folk and the next a very sorted and creepy-tastic saturated local theme. Bartenders are always good peeps and the vibe, no matter the crowd is pretty positive (except for that wasted old man that keeps a Pop-eye eye shut, that and the gold medallion, he's a disgusting old man) Food was way better than I ever expected it to be from this place! Meatballs were pretty good (not my Mom's, but what can ya do?) and the chicken picatta was better than it had any right being. Great cooks in this place! A fun alternative to the local dive and food made from scratch... Crazy, yah? But it is and they take pride!! Fun place!

Service is hit or miss (mostly hit) but the food and beer is always great. Burger night is a great value and the staff is extremely friendly. Other good eats are the nachos, pizzas, Philly steaks, and the wings. This is a great place to eat and relax but I wouldn't recommend it if you are in a hurry.

Wow, happy hour, happy hour, happy hour. We stumbled upon this place because of the pet friendliness and other yelp reviews. We ended up just grabbing some happy hour food. We had fried green beans (nice and crispy), steamed clams (smoky and delish), wings (big and meaty) and meatballs (could have been better on a sandwich) The food was cheap, beer was cold and cheap. Good combo. Our server had a moustache that would have put both Ron Burgandy and Ron Swanson to shame. I am very serious about this. He was so cool. Had a great time. Would go back on my next visit to the area.
