Love this place. We only came for lunch, but they had some really good selections. They have meals that are very creative, with ingredients that provide a lot of flavor. The food was seasoned perfectly. If you feel like eating something refreshing that doesn't leave you feeling stuffed, the lighter meals are great. I had the seafood carpaccio and loved every bite of it. Also got the Serrano ham and melon salad....delicious. I would love to come back for dinner and try a steak. Prices are a little high, but willing to pay for high quality, and great taste. If you want a really posh environment, it feels like a poolside cabana at the Wynn hotel in Vegas, or a Beverly Hills chic club.

A beautiful SCENE. But have some kinks to work out. Seating areas of the restaurant are very dark. Music is lovely. The waitstaff, including bar servers are quite haughty. A smile goes a long way. Who is training this crew? They could use some Ritz Cartlton 101. Obviously this restaurant is floating on the coattails of Campiellos but if they aren't nice it could bite them in the ...! Food is excellent. The servers need to show some appreciation for their patrons.

A stunning, stunning restaurant. The vision of the owner and his execution is just amazing. It's best in class. Sit outside one day. Sit indoors by kitchen or sit in the outdoor cabanas. The atmosphere in each spot is unique. You gotta go! And the food is simple and delish. It's specialty is is steak. But we had the date night special and had chicken and salmon. Let me know how the steak is someone!

We had a dinner here last Friday. I wish the menu had a more extensive seafood offering. I had Arctic char, along with a guest, and two ladies had the pear/Brie salad, which was not a hit: greens were bitter, Brie was hard to find. The yellow fin tuna appetizer was really excellent. The waitress, who had a memorable name, that I won't mention here, was unfriendly and detracted from the experience. She made the ladies feel bad for ordering salads as entrees and was trying to sell us all kinds of other stuff from the menu. Also, we waited an hour at the bar for a table and finally inquired and they'd forgotten about us. $300 for 4 people. All this said, I'd return....especially for the yellow fin with hot peppers. Three stars because of salad and waitress.

Amazing meal from start to finish. Wine is a bit overpriced but the list is pretty extensive and found some quality wines. I was underwhelmed by the wagyu beef but it was still delicious. I had the 16 oz ribeye which was superb. One of the better restaurants in the Naples area, definitely worth a visit.

Walking by this place brought me back home with its South beach style and decor is delightful and refreshing. (Honestly speaking I didn't miss the S. beach crowd one bit. LOL!) Very trendy looks great for large groups. Unfortunately, I didn't get to take a look at a menu but I did get to try a very refreshing cocktail. They have an amazing craft cocktail menu with numerous options and in house orbs of gin that any GIN lover would die for... Wanna shake your tree- was my drink of choice and it was very tasty and refreshing. When mixing ingredients like vodka, sparkling wine, peach, and basil who could resist? Generally this cocktail is served up in one of those cute 1920's style champagne glasses, but since I am a PIA I wanted it on the rocks. No problem, request granted! I hope to make my way back there at some point maybe even later tonight, I hear they have music and what a great spot for some good vibes.

The remodel is beautiful, the food was good but not great. It was very pricey. They have some service issues that need to be addressed. First they brought us the wrong steaks, so we had to wait while they cooked new ones. Then they brought the wrong sides & we waited 10 minutes for the correct ones, so by then our steaks were cold. No restitution was offered. I'd probably pass on this one next time. Update on this review, after it was posted they called me and gave me a gift certificate for a free dinner.

the ambiance is superb! outdoor dining even on a cool evening was fabulous. the waiter, eduard, was fun, engaging, and very knolwedgeablet, although he was going by michael if we had any complaints. lol the food was outstanding, from the wine to the steaks. the general manager came over and had a conversation in slavik with my gf. needless to say, a great time and great food was had by all!

What a disappointment. An overall rushed experience with mediocre food. Our server gave us no more than 3 minutes between ordering drinks and ordering food, which included explaining the menu in an extremely condescending manner (tonight's lesson involved him abruptly using a mini flashlight as a laser). He then crossed the line of decency when he went out of his way to let myself and my mother know "the ladies enjoy the carrots and the pear salad." He then went on to say something negative about everything we ordered (five menu items) until we changed our orders to the tune of about a $50 upsell. I can't imagine how bad our chosen items would have been, as the food we ultimately ordered was not worth the extra money. It was then taken away literally as soon as our plates were empty. In retrospect, it's a bit unnerving knowing we were being watched like hawks as we finished our meals. Our entire experience lasted a little over an hour and cost $300 for three people with four lousy cocktails. I understand that not-very-sneaky upsell tactic totally worked for our server for one night, but we'll never be back. With so many other great options in Naples, I won't miss this place.

Positive and negative to report. The setting is awesome - creative and lovely decor. The music inside is a bit loud. Outdoor bar and patio is nicely done. We had a very good server, Juan. No complaints about the service. This is not a place to get in and out in an hour (maybe at the bar) so be prepared for a leisurely meal. And an expensive one! The shrimp cocktail was very good. My filet was excellent. Perfectly cooked. The pomme frites were also excellent. Husband's rib eye was chewy, and he felt it was over salted. Our other side, the spinach, was inedible. It was so salty it was like a mouthful of sea water! The manager was willing to get us another steak or another side, but we declined. He thanked us for the feedback. Desserts are fun - selection of home made pies. Or vanilla soft serve with some very grown-up toppings. When the bill came, my husband's steak and the spinach had been taken off the bill. Very classy. If they had comped dessert I would have expected that. And that guarantees we will go back and give it another try.

Looking for a place in Downtown Naples that's bumping after 8:00 p.m.? You found it. This place has live music most evenings and a great selection of house infused liquors. AND on the subject of great selections, this place has SweetWater 420-- (My go-to from my hometown brewer in ATL)! There's a nice patio here and cabana dining is available as well.

Ok so let's start with the bad (there's not much): The service was par. Not amazing, but not lacking, they have a fresh fish menu, but when the waitress (Kathy) was only able to tell us that it was "pan seared and really good" we opted for the turf. All in all she just clearly wasn't passionate about the food or what she was doing. The manager stopped by and was VERY pleasant and you could certainly feel not only his enthusiasm for the restaurant but for cuisine in general. His interaction with us really improved our opinion of the service here. Ok, on to the good. Holy moley... The food. I ordered the Teres Major Australian Wagyu beef. For those who don't feel like googling that right now (like I has to do!) the Teres Major is a connective shoulder muscle who's tenderness is second only to Filet Mignon. It's preparation was perfect, as was my wife's petite filet. I mean when I say perfect, I mean top 3 steaks of my life. The fact that my Teres Major was a shockingly inexpensive $28 I felt that not only was my steak perfect, but it was far and away the best under $30 steak I've ever had. The mashed potatoes were amazing. I usually have a problem with paying $10 for a side of potatoes, but as my steak was inexpensive, and the potatoes were REALLY good, I felt it was acceptable. Dessert was a key lime blackberry pie which was perfect end note to what was nothing short of world class food. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I'm in Naples once or twice a year, and will never make a trip without visiting this restaurant again.

We had a wonderful experience here. The remodel is gorgeous and Heinz (the manager) goes the distance to make it memorable. Food is very good, upscale steakhouse fare. Cocktails were creative and very tasty.

What a delight to strut into these new digs to the smooth live jazz sounds coming from the patio amidst the shakes of freshly made cocktails behind the bar. Needless to say, the Continental is a classy setting without being pretentious. Warm wood chairs on the interior, linen upon each table, wine room, several cabana style tables outside, plenty of patio seating, open kitchen and an overall sexy atmosphere makes the Continental a pleasure to dine or enjoy a cocktail. Yes, the prices are high, but from the fare enjoyed by my family and me for lunch, it was definitely worth it. The burger is one of the best you will find, hands down. Nice char, full of flavor, fresh bun, piled high served with crisp pomme frittes. The brunch frittata, 3 eggs, tomatoes, gooey cheese and mushrooms is making my mouth water again! Delish, all around. Every staff member even said they partake in the burger almost every shift. I can see why. Excellent Bloody Mary as well. Service was attentive, friendly, thorough and high class. Well done. Next visit will be for dinner. If the burgers are a prelude to their signature steaks, it'll be worth every nickel.

Wish this was still Handsome Harry's! Gave this place a try after years of going to HH every time I was in town. I have to say I was pretty disappointed. The cons outweighed the pros so I'll start with those: 1. No more scenery - you can no longer sit inside and look onto the bustling patio and dance floor, the views are now obstructed by a bar in the middle of the patio and the strange cabana tables. No more dance floor :( The restaurant feels cramped and stuffy. IMO the new construction was a bust 2. Get ready to drop some cash - this place is extremely pricey... I don't mind spending money on eating out but $16-$20 on a sandwich or a salad (No sides included) at lunch seems pretty excessive. Want some French fries? Get ready to spend another $10-$18 for the "family style" sides. 3. The lunch menu is overall weird - there are only 5 appetizers, there are no non-seafood appetizer options, not the place you want to go if you want a light lunch or some plates to share. Now for the Pros: 1. Our server was attentive and helpful - overall the service was very good 2. I have to say I was not very excited about what I had ordered - like I said the menu was odd so I had a hard time deciding what to order. However, once the food came it was very well prepared and tasted very good. My Dad loved his $18 philly steak sandwich and said it was the best lunch he had all week (we eat out quite a bit while in town) Long story short I was pretty disappointed with how this restaurant turned out. I wish the new restaurant would have carried over some of the charm that this location once had. Will not be going back.

I know this restaurant just opened, so I wanted I give it the benefit of the doubt. The service was so slow, it took about an hour for our entrees to come out. Also, the steaks were much smaller than described and were very dry. I've had better steak elsewhere. The potatoes and the appetizers were okay, but overall the food experience was lacking. Our waiter was very good though. Not sure I'd come back unless they improve service.

We left after the appetizers. Had a dinner reservation for an outside table on a Fr night. This request was completely ignored. We were told that it would take another 45min. Went to the bar and had two cocktails and two appetizers. Cocktails are smaller than usual. Pear/Brie salad was small but good. Smoked salmon galette was very good but is rather a breakfast dish. Expensive on top. An hour later we could have had the table but decided to leave as it was very noisy in there. Don't get the restaurants theme/decor either...

Well, I came here with kids so they should have thrown us out the back or put us next to the bathroom, but they didn't. The service was fabulous, the cocktails were delicious, and the $90 wagu steak was awesome! I thought the bill was going to be horrendous after multiple cocktails, wine, appetizers, etc. but it wasn't. I found the pricing fair for the quality of the food. It was great. The staff was friendly and handled my kids bouncing off the walls very well. I don't live near by but I will certainly be back.

The good, the bad and the ugly on the Continental. You can't beat the atmosphere and setting of this beautiful restaurant and add a live band playing dinner and after dinner dance music and it is one of those the best settings you'll find in Naples. The food and service however don't live up to what you would expect from what is billed as a high end steakhouse. When we arrived for our 8:00 reservation we were told our table would be ready in a half hour or so leading to the logical question of why we had to wait if we had a reservation? The response to that question was that a reservation just got you on the list and if you were not on the list then you had "no chance of eating here" Seriously? Anyway we were seated in 15 minutes and promptly greeted by our servers and then delivered a basket of stale bread. We ordered baked oysters for an appetizer which were very good but took about 20 minutes to get delivered. The steaks at this restaurant are good but definitely on the pricey side with several different farm producers and beef selections ( prime black angus, wagyu, Kobe etc) to choose from. Everything is ala carte with sides big enough for 2. We split a 24 oz T bone which was cooked well and can easily be split between 2 people and ordered a couple of sides. We had key lime pie for desert which was one of the better examples I have had of this Florida Classic. The service and bar need lots of work before this restaurant meets what diners would expect at this price level. We ordered sparkling water and glasses kept getting refilled with tap water, dirty plates sat on the table for too long and service in general was not as attentive as one would expect. Bar service was ugly, chocolate martini with no chocolate, champagne that had to be reordered 3 times because it was flat and half filled martinis that had to be sent back to be filled. The wine list could be a lot better too.So if you are looking for a great downtown Naples location for dinner and good food at elevated prices then this is a good choice ( or you could enjoy the atmosphere and order an $18 burger) but a better choice might be Campielo which is just down the street with the same owner. If you just want a great steak with outstanding service you won't go wrong at the Capital Grille.

Had Sunday date night dinner (but were not able to stay within our budget..) It wasn't the Continental's fault that we wanted to try their cocktails and accompaniments that were not included in the special. And I'm glad we did! When we arrived, there was a bit of concern with the volume (and the selection) of the music. But soon after we were seated, someone else must of complained because the atmosphere greatly improved. Drinks were interesting and good (although a bit pricey $14.00) Salads were wonderful. And dinner was amazing. Service was spot on as well. All four of us loved our meals! We will definitely return.

Spent several hours with a couple of friends in the bar. A very limited selection of beers and liquor. Had several martinis in an undersized glass at $10 a pop. The amount served and quality of the drinks were less than average. Will wait a few weeks and give them another try as the atmosphere was outstanding.

Have only been twice. Jury still out. One bad experience and one good one. Food and drinks are over-priced for what they are...even for Naples (although not as much of a rip off as SeaSalt...STILL the biggest rip off in town).

Great food. Great wine. Our server treated us with a lot of respect, which was icing on the cake. Food is a little expensive, but was worth it. Would recommend to my friends.

I checked out The Continental a week ago while on vacation in Naples. Knowing it was the former Handsome Harry's I didn't know what to expect, but holy cow have they remodeled this place to be pretty awesome... it has a great indoor/outdoor vibe that is perfect for Florida. This is one of the only TRUE steakhouses in Naples and as a Wisconsin girl who loves some meat & potatoes-- I was beyond impressed. I had lunch here with my husband and parents and, thankfully, they had the steaks on the lunch menu. After spending some time at the bar waiting for my parents to arrive, I was set on getting a steak. Three of the bartenders were talking about how awesome all the steak is and I knew I had to give it a try. They also had great things to say about the brussels sprouts gratin. We were seated "inside," but there was a huge open patio door so I feel like we had the best of both worlds-- air conditioning & warm Florida breeze. It was perfect. Our waitress was fantastic and explained the steaks, sealing the deal that I needed some meat! She also detailed her favorite sides, which were the brussels sprouts gratin & the potato gratin-- both of which I couldn't eat because of the unpasteurized comte cheese that was in the dish. Total bummer, so I ordered myself some pommes frites along with my petite filet from Darling Downs Wagyu #4. So how was the steak? All I can say is INCREDIBLE!! I cannot wait to go back to The Continental when I'm in Naples in the spring, so I can have another steak.

The room is beautiful and the atmosphere high energy. Unfortunately, they ran out of the fish of the day by 6:30. Ran out of Tanqueray. They took 20 min to deliver cocktail order to our table. The biggest disappointment was the quality of the steak. Just OK. At these prices, one expects to be dazzled. Went in expecting great things. Very disappointed.

My Family and I dined here on Friday Feb 6. We were greeted by a friendly staff that quickly sat us at our table outside. From the moment we sat down to our check our server Simone was Awesome!!! It's so nice to have a Great Steak House in Naples besides Chops that is so so. I understand that some people might complain about the price of their steaks. But those that do obviously don't know what a Great Steak is worth. My Wife and I both had the Japanese A-5 which was unbelievable!! Same quality Steak as when I buy from Jimmy P'S. We will definitely make this a regular stop. However, if your looking for Skirt Steak this is not the place you want to go!!

Great new spot. Very personable and knowledgeable bar staff. Drinks were wonderful. Tenderloin sandwich was cooked perfectly. Only complaint was that the ahi Niçoise salad was made with overlooked fish and I assumed it was seared. However the dressing was perfect. Will definitely be back.

Rushed service, poor food and high prices are the hallmarks of this new entrant to the Naples dining scene. Asst wait staff dressed up like coal miners push there way through the cramped seating often interrupting your attempt to dine in peace. Waiters themselves look harried and confused. While my dog did enjoy the remnants of my $54 strip steak I'm sad to say I did not.

Great experience. Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere. Live music, great steals. I loved that we were not rushed. Had a very leisurely dinner, started with cocktails at the bar. We made a reservation on a Friday night and were seated immediately if we wanted indoor seating. We decided to wait 20 mins for outdoor. The sommelier gave us s fantastic wine recommendation, and it was served at a perfect temperature. I'm not sure why other helpers complain about the seafood selection... It's marketed as a steak and craft cocktail bar, not seafood joint. Loved it. The patio is really lovely. Try the pear salad to start.

We were customers for dinner on Day 6. The steaks were very flavorful and tasty. As an appetizer, I ordered 6 oysters for $21+ and they were poor, warm, and improperly shucked. I told this to the Assistant General Manager, who frankly didn't seem interested. He chose not to make an adjustment to our bill. On Day 6 of a new high quality ($200 a couple with no wine) restaurant, this is dumb behavior. Because of it, we won't be returning,

We had a 7:45 pm reservation. At 8:20 we were told we still had at least another 20-30 minutes because they just finished seating their 7:30 reservations. As we were debating what to do we witnessed a woman approach the Hostess and say that she had a 7:30 reservation and still was not seated. The Hostess' response was "We're the new hot restaurant what do you expect?" At that point we decided to leave hungry and disgusted with how this restaurant is run. We will not be going back!

We had high hopes when we entered this beautiful restaurant. The people were kind, but we started out the evening confused. They insisted on us coming close to 5pm and then the restaurant sat half full for hours. The Waiter commented on it being a quiet night. This was very upsetting as we don't enjoy eating early bird type dinners. The prices were crazy given the mediocre food, averaging $100 per person before drinks. The wine selection was good, and the cream corn was good. There was one appetizer out of 3 that was good and that was the baked ricotta cheese. The runny egg salad with caviar was horrible and the others were forgettable and bland. The Foie Gras was begging for acid and was a sweet almond heaviness that was too rich to eat. The steaks were ice cold. I ordered a filet with foie butter that was a huge chunk of ice cold flavored butter on a cold steak, horrible. The food all lacked flavor, acid and nothing was the correct temp. The cocktails were warm and the food was cold. One of their most talked about cocktails tasted like warm perfumed soap. I could go on and on, but this is a beautiful spot that employs kind people. They need to pause and completely revamp the kitchen.

I was recently on a Florida trip and spent some time in South Beach and Naples. Two friends who live in Naples took us to The Continental (their first times too)...which turned out to be the best meal of our whole trip. LOVED IT. It was a Saturday night and we showed up at 7:30/8pm with no reservation. We were clearly crazy to think we could get a table. We were told...it's an hour wait, go get drinks, we'll text you when we have a table. We head to the bar...clearly debating whether to stay or head elsewhere. We knew it was a longshot, so we thought...let's grab a drink, it's a great environment, and we'll head elsewhere. Well, less than 10 minutes later the text comes in...your table is ready. WHAT? I am so glad we stayed. The place is beautiful (outdoor area especially, inside needs to be a bit dimmer), the vibe is great, the food was incredible. Drinks were awesome. The weakest link? Our waiter. He was not overly friendly, borderline rude actually and seemed to be clearly stretched thin and annoyed with any questions about the menu. We actually debated if he was on drugs. Not kidding. For being as busy as it was, the food was perfectly paced and cooked exactly as requested. Our whole table was blown away by the overall experience (waiter aside) and would come back for sure.

The decor is fabulous! Visually pleasing and the staff are well educated in what they're serving! The selection of steaks are incredible! It puts many other steakhouses to shame! My family and I were seated promptly after arriving the place was packed, but the acoustics of the restaurant allowed my family and I to communicate without the need to shout over all the other conversations at other tables. The live music was upbeat and fun, and despite being extremely busy our waiter came to our table almost immediately after being seated! The menu is nothing short of a work of art. The dishes they feature are much more advanced culinary wise then any other restaurant in Naples! Everything on the menu pushes the creativity of your tasting experience. The appetizers are not only visually pleasing but they taste amazing! The entrées ( we ordered steak) was juicy, flavorful and cooked to perfection! To put any sauce on one of these steaks would be a sin!! As one of their sides they offer poutine! A Canadian dish which consists of a specific type of cheese, gravy over the top of french fries! This poutine was as close to the authentic poutine I had when I was in Canada! To finish the dinner off we ordered desserts, I ordered the " blondie pie" it was unbelievable! If you happen to be in naples I urge you try this restaurant!
