Fun and nice staff. Bacon and beer Mac and cheese. Yum! Can't wait to come back on Sunday for bar wars!

This place is cute. It wasn't crowded at all. My husband and I came here on a Monday night. They had $4 margaritas which were tasty. We ordered appetizers and the best this was the chicken tenders.

We stopped for lunch today I ordered the classic bacon cheeseburger well done. Out came a great looking burger with home made chips. What I received is a Rare burger and I really don't like eating rate ground beef I was hungry so I started eating it. My wife ordered tequila lime wings what she received was plain fried wings with nothing on them except about a quarter inch of grease that they were laying in also there was a big spoonful of minced garlic thrown on the celery and most of it fell off and was floating in the grease that the wings were served in. She tried eating one and quit said the only flavor was the grease so I gave her half of my burger as I was not going to eat it anyway because it was to rare for my taste. The sad thing is the burger tasted great and I would have liked to go back again. The waitress did come by after I started eating and offered to return it to the kitchen I just won't do that to many stories about what happens when food gets sent back. After we shared the burger and chips I tasted the wing my wife started and she was right no flavor other than greasy fried chicken skin. Another waiter stopped to take my empty plate and asked my wife if she wanted a to go box for her wings and much to my surprise my bride who never sais anything pushed the basket over to the waiter and said would you eat this? He said no and took it back to the kitchen. And they took it off the bill. They were 2and 0 on the bad side today they only received one star because they didn't have zeros. I think the cook is trying to tell the owner something.

Nice relaxed atmosphere just steps from the water. A little pricy but servings are large. Outdoor seating is ok, but the constant drone of airplanes was a bit annoying. Parents had oysters and pretzels, they enjoyed them. My cowboy burger was massive & tasty, I could only eat half. Kids are welcome (at least during the day when we went) & their portions are sizeable also. All in all, a nice place near the water.

This was one of the Saturday stops on our bar hop evening. No food. Good views from outside area. Parking was easy and we were able to walk and tour the water side bars and take a few pictures. Inside its tropical themed menu with plenty of quick bar styled foods. with plenty of big screen TVs to catch the games. Our group stopped in for mixers and beer. Staff were inviting and the bartenders were fairly quick.

Had skirt steak salad- which was fantastic and the shrimp mango wrap, light but fresh and delicious!

Pretty nice place. .. went with a large group from work for dinner. . Service was on key, food was good, as well as, good happy hour drink specials. I ordered the grilled chicken club with avocado which was very good... couldn't eat it all.. everyone ekses looked very good to..especially the flatbread... worth a try

disappointing lunch We went to the Tavern on the Bay hoping for a good lunch as our last meal in Naples. We took a table inside instead of waiting for an outdoor table. The service was poor. We ordered, the food came in a reasonable amount of time, delivered by a runner, not the waitress. She didn't reappear for quite a while, long after our drinks were long gone. The cuban sliders were good. The macaroni with "lump crabmeat was awful. That couldn't possibly have been crab. Shrimp scampi flatbread was ok, Mostly a garlic sauce on a flatbread. Disappointing all around.

Great burgers and great drinks,Huge HD tv's to watch any game at anytime, fast service but not the kind that makes you feel like they want to fill your table with another group, very friendly waitresses thanks Maggie

Prices were very reasonable . The food was very fresh and tasty. Great atmosphere. We chatted with the staff as if we were regulars. They were all very friendly. I had the shrimp wrap with mango it was delicious ! My husband had the chicken sandwich which was moist and tasty. The homemade potato chip were awesome! We will definitely stop there again when visiting Naples.

My wife and I like to come here from time to time for the outside seating and during the winter NFL games!! So, Tavern on the Bay I'll give you 5 stars when you end the old fashioned and disgusting outside smoking allowed policy. Look, 80% of use do not smoke yet we get the shaft when it comes to sitting outside to enjoy our meals and friends. Last night we saw no less than 3 sets of people request to be moved away from the smokers in the adjoining table. Come on Tavern - time to end this practice like so many other restaurants have done around Naples. Go to Chrissys by the court house to see how it is done - classic. Love your pizza and beer selection!!!!

I ate dinner with guests on December 30. We were looking for a place to watch our college team play and they were very accommodative. They put the game on a couple of screens. I had the buffalo chicken salad which was great. The wings were also solid too. Lots of TV. Nice atmosphere. Perfect weather. Sometimes crowded, but that's a good thing and adds to the atmosphere. We'd go back for sure.

Love the location right next to the waterway. The food was really decent for a sportsbar. The cheeseburger I had was massive. The wife's pork quesadillas were greasy and yes, the portion was massive as well. I'm in the area quite a bit to go boating, and it always has a lively crowd on Sundays for football. If I only didn't have 3 kids in tow, then I'd be right up there with them....

Great choice! Our family had dinner at the Tavern last evening. The food was delicious, the service was great and the prices were reasonable. We were welcomed by Holly at the bar (great bartender!), Magdalena at our table (great server!) and manager Jim who made us feel "at home." All in all, a great experience!

First off any bar that will show a WWE ppv is good in my books. Location is superb, right on the bay. Cool environment in terms of both temperature and atmosphere. I ordered the cowboy burger which was really good but holy cow it was a big ass burger! Messy in a good way. There chips are very good and perfectly crisp. The biggest problem with this place and it comes with the location is the price way too pricey for what it is. Not happy about that. But the food is good and the overall expierence was good minus the slower service from the wait staff. It's hard to recommend this place but I wouldn't not recommend it either. 3/5.

Very average. We sat at an almost empty bar and the young lady bartender had no interest in us at all. Never a smile or casual word. Almost like we were intruding. Our party of 3 had a salad (OK), the special fish tacos (OK) and a chicken pannai (OK). There are much better spots for a casual meal.

Unreal happy hour value tonight! I will be back tomrrow. The hh menu is available from 3 - 7 and features .45 cent wings, $2 pulled pork sliders, Tavern potato chips, chips & salsa and chicken chili nachos that will easily feed two. Feeling hungry, I went for the nachos. The beauty behind the bar dared me to try and polish them off solo. Didn't happen. They are beautifully presented with mounds of chips, homemade pico, guac, chili and garnished with pickled jalapenos, sour cream and drizzled with a creamy jalapeno sauce. The flavors are as amazing as how the plate looks. Two pints and the huge nachos (which half came home) was a mere $11. A helluva deal to chill out for an hour in one of Naples' most relaxing bars. The view is great inside and out, too.

Tavern on the Bay joins restaurants, hotels, and bars all over town in competition for the elusive, summer season patron. I joined a group here forTavern's happy hour featuring $4 well drinks, A few at the long table ordered wings or pulled pork sliders, and were reportedly satisfied with their decidedly Pub Food choices. Tavern is a sports pub with a nautical flair, so there are TVs everywhere, mounted high so that even the high top table seats have clear views of a screen. Near the door that opens to Gordon bay, there are souvenir t-shirts worn in the Tavern's annual entries in the Naples Canoe Race at nearby Naples Pier. The Canoe "race" is more pub frat show with funny costumes and crazy boat regalia, and more observers than racers. In summer, the Tavern continues with sponsoring outside event entertainment. For example, in July 2012 it partners with Naples Princess harbor cruises for a sunset "booze cruise" followed by a free drink and dinner at the Tavern for only $35 all inclusive.

Great place to watch a game. They seemed to have all sports packages. Food was pretty decent standard american bar food. A few too many creepy old men gawking at the young females for my liking. The first waitress we had was really good at lunch. Went back in the evening to catch a late night game and had a pretty ditsy waitress who could have used some more training.

prices are good, food is good overall but potential to be great but misses the mark on Sunday. totally get that its a mad house on sundays but the disorganization and lack of service can be frustrating. ive been with groups a handful of times and we left a few times at half time due to service and cold food. Also, the set up for the games are sub par, needs bigger tvs and better projection for the big tv, its 2012, get an HD one. Having high table tops near the general seating obstructs the view of a few games for those seated on low tables. Good for non-sundays, too much chaos and disorganization...

Sure, I could write a review about how the "Holy Cow!" burger, named in honor of the late Yankee great Phil Rizutto, is easily among the top 5 burgers I've had in my life, not to mention the most photogenic. And I could wax poetic about the Jack cheese, sauteed 'shrooms and onions, and artisan bun smothered in horseradish sauce. And I could talk for hours about the fresh-cut skinny fries, or the Cobb salad that was so big it made me blush. And I could get all verklempt about the 'Buy 1 burger, get one free' deal on Tuesdays. But I'm not going to. This is more of an anecdote than a review. We were vacationing in the area during this week in mid-August, and dropped in for dinner. Dinner and a party, in fact. We walked in and were ushered past some 30 or 40 friends and staffers of a local politician running for some county office. They had platters upon platters of wings, hors d'oevres, pizza, booze, and it was obvious they felt good about their candidate's chances. Every table had a poster that read: "Elect Kevin J. Lilly for Collier County Property Appraiser!" (Who knew property appraisers were elected???) It was just like in the movies: a lot of nervous-looking, over-worked staffers pacing and glued to their phones, plus a good number of friends, family and hangers-on just happy to be there. Did I mention the booze flowed freely? They even had a media dept. In between bites of his quesadilla, one guy was editing footage for a campaign TV ad on his laptop. I need that gig! After about 15 minutes, the early numbers started appearing on the half dozen big screens around the restaurant. When the first precincts reported Lilly had 100% of the vote the place erupted. They started jumping, hugging, hootin' and hollerin' like they'd won the lottery. Everybody in that restaurant got caught up in the moment. No one at our table had ever heard of Mr. Lily, but even we started cheering. Later, when Lilly himself went around thanking his supporters I was actually disappointed he didn't stop by our table. Never forget your constituency, Lilly!! Sadly, I found out later those early numbers were off, way off. Lilly's opponent won with 56% of the vote. It's a brutal game politics, but perhaps Mr. Lilly can find some solace in the fact that thanks to T.O.T.B. he, his supporters, and all of us certainly had a much better meal on election night than his opponent.

This is a nice bar, it is upscale not a dive bar. I went there because I am a biker and I have heard that bikers frequent this place. It is not quite a regular biker bar. It is in a nice area, parking is kind of tight on the streets. Food is good but pricey 14 bucks for a burger; However, the portions are massive, I was riding with 2 other bikers and I was the only one that finished his portions. Beer is cold and they have a great variety of them, but is not cheap either. Waitresses are fun, friendly and pretty. Not the average biker bar, but I am not the average biker either.:-)

We were staying at La Quinta up the street and decided to walk here for drinks and dinner. I must say, the BEST Mojito I've ever had in my life. I sucked it back so quickly I was embarrassed, but ordered another one anyway. We had the the Tavern BBQ Potato Chips and we're still dreaming about them. We were so full that we ordered our dinner to go, my husband had the Elvis Burger and I had a Philly Cheesesteak, which I didn't end up eating until the next day. My in-laws are coming next month and we are definitely going back to this place for dinner!

Excellent location, the food is good and reasonably priced. My husband had the holy cow burger and I had the chicken club and they were very good. The tomato and lettuce was very fresh on my chicken club was very fresh. We opted for the fries instead of the chips and they were good as well.

This place is great. The food, not so much. However we were there for st pattys day and they had the best Irish nachos which were waffle fries, corned beef, cabbage and beer cheese. They were ridiculously good. The happy hour of course is amazing. And the bartenders are a blast.

We went there on the Fourth of July and to watch the World Cup soccer game. Even though the game was playing on all screens, the manager refused to put the volume up on the game and despite several tables asking for it, he refused. Food was good, waitresses were nice but the managers were so rude that we left. Some people just don't know how to run a business.

I went here with two of my friends this past Saturday. It also happened to be the Kentucky Derby so the place was packed. We arrived around 4pm, the sign said please wait to be seated. So we waited and no one ever came to help us, so I found a hostess type girl and she said oh we don't have any tables open so you can wait to see if someone leaves, sit at the bar or go to another place. Go to another place?? What kind of employee would say that about the place they are working at? If I were the owner and heard someone say that to a customer they would be fired in an instant. We ended up sitting at the bar to order drinks and planned on just ordering food there. Amazingly though after about 20 minutes the hostess came up to us and said a table had opened up. So luckily we had a great spot to watch the derby too. The place consisted pretty much of your typical bar when you walked in then just a room with a bunch of tables, wasn't really a restaurant type atmosphere. There were even community tables. Probably would not go back here again.

Great for watching sports and drinking! Next time id stick with appetizers like chicken wings and things like that and not order a meal. I ordered a fish sandwich and it was just mush between a bun.

Great looking place, love the scenery, good food, service could be a lot better. I love the grouper sliders & chips! The flatbreads aren't bad either. If it's a nice day, sitting outside is a must.
