This was a great place to go for lunch. It is a really neat atmosphere whether you eat inside at the bar or outside on the terrace. The service is awesome and friendly. They have free pickles that my wife said was some of the best she has ever had. I had a terrific grilled chicken sandwich with fries and my wife had an outstanding steak sandwich. It was a very enjoyable lunch.

Love this place! Bar-ish and beautiful! Loves sitting outside in the ivy covered area. Food was good! Must go if in the area.

The snapper & crab cakes are top notch. Love the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly & attentive. This will now be one of our regular hang outs!

Went here for dinner tonight with my grandparents. Our server, Tori, I believe, was attentive and very pleasant. Our food was brought out very quickly. I had a the taco salad which was delish. My grandfather, who is not easily pleased really enjoyed his fish n chips, and my grandmother said the crab cakes were amazing. Really cozy, indoor and outside seating. Oh! And they have yummy pickles in a cute jar at each of the tables.

Nice ambience outside seating. Food is decent service was great minus the server spilling a tray on my cousins backside. I Had the blackened tuna steak sandwich, asked for it to be blackened using only olive oil and chef told me he couldn't do that;( not exactly sure why it couldn't be done but it was cooked med not med rare as ordered. Coleslaw had good taste but a bit soggy. Overall wasn't a bad experience had great company and enjoyed the relaxing patio.

This is a quaint old pub. Great location, good parking, shady outdoor seating. The waitress was very knowledgable and accommodating. The food not so much. The roast beef was more like pot roast and that was not Gorgonzola on it. There was very little sauce on the calamari and none on the side. No one else complained or praised food. I didn't ask. The pickles were good, but not enough to go back for.

Cute little Old Naples pub. Wonderful pub food and cold beer. No liquor. Awesome sandwiches and especially the neuberg. Spinach dip is great. Great outside seating and live music at nite. Waitresses are friendly. Excellent location off of 3rd in downtown Naples.

Consistently good food, comfortable atmosphere & nice service with local flare. We stop here every time in town. Do recommend. Reasonable prices, specials & great crab cakes

Cool little place that has been there for over 24 years. The bartender was excellent and she kept things going. We didn't have any food because we ate elsewhere. They have free pickles in a jar which was great. It is rare to see that at any bar. The food coming out to there looked pretty good. Overall, I'd recommend the place for drinks and to chill out at. I can't comment on the food since we didn't eat there.

Great place to take the kids for a burgers. I went with my wife and three kids during our visit to Naples. Friendly service. Nice, homey atmosphere. If I wanted to have a few beers with a friend, I'd be comfortable here too. They don't have hard liquor but they do have some nice beers in bottles, like Grolsch and some good German beers. Easy walk to the Naples Pier after dinner to see the ocean and stars.

Love this place the ribs fall off the bone, checking wings are juicy and test awesome... Now for the burgers if your a burger fan they grill them and use fresh meat they taste like homemade.. My wife and I love to drink so we always sit at the bar... Debbie the bar tender is great if you want to know anything about Naples she will tell you... Places to go things to do she knows it all and willing to share.. Ooo also she will remember your order and name next time you come in. We are regulars and try to make it every other Sunday. Also the entertainment is also great... 5 star locally owned restaurant you should try it.

I've been here five separate occasions, and all were wonderful! Parking out back can be a little tough during Naples' tourist season (October-May). But great location on 3rd street, and beautiful garden terrace to enjoy lunch, dinner, apps, or beer and wine. Wasn't aware they didn't have a full bar until my 3rd visit. Even without hard liquor the pub has a great selection of beer and wine. I'm not a beer girl, so I always go for a great glass of wine. The food...this is why I come here!!! Awesome appetizers including calamari (fried and drizzled in a chili sauce), huge onion rings (served steaming hot), and even gator nuggets (fried and served with a citrus type sauce)!!! Always great to start off with. Their Cuban sandwich is the BOMB!! Probably my favorite thing I've had here, ordered it on my first visit. Took my boyfriend there one evening (my 3rd visit) and we BOTH ordered it be cause I recommend it. Their "Nebeur "sandwich is like a Ruben but made with coleslaw and a homemade sauce, good but only if you dig on cole slaw...it was decent, but I probably won't order it again. Don't forget about their burgers, amazing!! Still eager to try their crab cake...guess that just means another visit soon. A definite must try, great for a Saturday lunch before hitting the pier or beaches downtown, or great spot to hit on a Friday night for some good food, good drinks, and great service. Lori has been my server several times...super sweet!! Make sure you stop in.

Happened upon this place - at the recommendation of fellow Yelpers - and glad we did! Very nice, comfortable and cute pub. Extremely clean bathrooms! I had the crispy chicken salad, it was delicious! 2 out of our party of 6 had the ungrouper and chips, one said it was maybe the best fish he has ever had. 1 had the ribs, 1 had the burger, and 1 had the shrimp. Everyone very happy with the fresh food. Big portions and great service. We will be back!

Fun place and good pickles! The fish and chips looked awesome but I got the pub club. Very good.

Best little pub ever! Unlimited free pickles and the food is just amazing. I had the Catch of the Day with the artichoke salad.....out of this world! The bartender Debbie was the sweetest lady ever. If I didn't live in NJ I would eat here weekly!

We loved loved loved the fish and chips!!! And homemade pickles are delicious!!! I think I may have eaten an entire jar by myself. They have a relatively large selection of beer on tap as well.

Enjoyed a great meal on the patio at The Old Naples Inn. The Ungrouper Sandwich was delicious, and my husband loved his Roast Beef and Gorgonzola on Focaccia! Both were huge and could have easily been shared! Be sure to ask for a pickle jar to be brought to your table. Service was great, and parking is really convenient.

Always a good choice. We got a poor table (right by the kitchen) but we got it without a wait. Food was predictably good. Service was pleasant and competent. Prices are very reasonable. Will definitely go again (and again) but always with realistic expectations.

This is a great place to eat and have a drink in Naples. Its in the 3rd Street area, which is always a happening place. Actually reminds me a lot of Chicago or Boston pubs. The food is great, especially for the price, which isn't bad at all considering where the pub is located. A really fun place with good food and fun people watching. And it won't kill your wallet, unlike every other restaurant in the area.

As others have said, it is a bit hidden from all of the out in the open restaurants, but I liked that! A beautiful gazebo was decked out with bright lights and vines all around the place. There is outdoor and indoor seating available, but we just asked for whatever came first since it was kinda busy and we were hungry! We waited at the bar and had a nice red beer locally brewed in Naples. Fair prices. About $5 for a pint. And tasty! Went down super smooth, and I even had a free pickle from the bar with mine. Weird, I know. We had chicken fingers as an appetizer; pretty standard with fries, but the honey mustard truly made it for me. A little tangy, very creamy, and the perfect companion to all things fried. I wish they bottled it up and sold it (or told me where they got it)... I had a taco salad. It came with guacamole, salsa and sour cream. Nothing off the charts but it certainly wasn't a shy portion and was also definitely yummy enough to go to town on. Aaron had the Ungrouper Sandwich; a nice juicy fried white piece of fish served on a hoagie roll. He added fries and slaw to that... There is a little up charge ($2.50) but so what lol it's Naples near 3rd St... to be expected. The ambiance was cute and everyone including our waitress and initial bartender was friendly! There was live music and a hilarious song about a Family Scandal was playing that had everyone laughing. It was that type of music that tells a story versus relying on sole musical components. I loved it. All in all, I would absolutely suggest this place. There were tons of other menu options and for the prices, it's one of the better options in the heart of Naples. The service can be a little slower than usual, but the people are obviously working hard and it's easy to see how busy they are. Still, if you can be laid back and patient, the rapport with the waitresses and their efficiency wins out. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the show. Don't come here if you're in a rush (unless maaaybe at lunch?)

Stay away on a holiday! Rude servers. Food was mediocre at best. We waited for over an hour for our table because we were a large group. Once we got our tables, we weren't allowed to join the tables because "in order to serve us better, we were getting different servers" We were ok with that until the SAME server took "care" of both tables. Everyone except the hostess seemed very angry at this place. I waited a few days to post my review because I thought I would feel differently. I don't. My blood pressure is going up just thinking about that night.

Awesome outside seating, great food (wished every place would get Grouper back, but fishers and all that), and great beer. Oh! and pickles. If you don't want to throw money at an over-priced OK-machine of a locale such as Tommy Bahamas, go here (or any other restaurant in the area; walk near here afterwards to get gelato at the Italian restaurant next door!).

    (5)
  • Coll M.

Great little spot close to all the action. We were looking for something a little more casual (read not $$$) than the hot spots. The food is good and more on the "bar food" end of the spectrum. We sat outside and it was lovely. It is a little bit small so you may have to wait, but that's what the bar is for!

    (4)
  • Brian F.

A great option off 3rd Street if you aren't looking for the high-end, high priced restaurant. Outdoor seating without a multi hour wait time.

    (5)
  • Natalie S.

Love the atmosphere and outdoor seating here but the service isn't that great and I think the food is a little over priced. Burgers don't come with a side so you have to order extra which I didn't like.

We always stop here at least once on our yearly Florida trip to Naples. Kids love it. I love it. Burgers are juicy and fresh. It's a great place to hang out for a few drinks on a lazy afternoon while taking a break from the beach. Can't wait to go back.

You have to love being able to find a pub in downtown oldtown Naples, kindof hidden away from all the other high profile establishments. Sometimes you kinda feel like blending in and chilling out, and this is the perfect place to do so. They have a cool outdoor sitting area underneath vines and leafs which is beautiful any season. If you get a chance, I would try to get a table outside. The hostess is very friendly and personable, though sadly our waiter was not so much either of those. My dinner dates opted for the cheeseburger (two peas in a pod, I tell ya) and I ordered the grilled ahi sandwich. I'd wish they would have told me it wasnt a straight grilled steak, as though it was not totally dreadful they added a sweet glaze to my ahi which I could've done without. I believe it might have been pineapple. It also came with a 'special sauce', aka mayo and mustard mixed. Fries were your standard Sysco bag of spuds, however were pretty tasty. Burgers are flame grilled, and both were so charred they became bitter. My stepdaughter continued to eat, but my husband decided to investigate and started pulling toppings off. I think at least 80% of his burger was black and pretty much inedible. He flagged over our waiter whom did not suggest much of anything to rectify the issue, and seemed pretty defensive towards the awesomeness of their burger. He tried to tell us that they always cook *burn* their burgers like this, and that making a new one would not make a difference. Umm, well.. They could actually watch the burger OR cook it over indirect heat instead. He tried to convince him to order something else, and eventually with a lot of huffing and puffing suggested to have them cook a burger on the flat top. This ended up messing up the consistency of the meat and was an even greater disaster. At this point my husband was done with his attempts to having dinner and started snacking on the complimentary homemade pickles (which are very good in all honesty). I'm bummed the service sucked and that the food was meh at best, as I had high hopes for this little hideaway. I hate when this happens!

Love love love this place!!! We stop in every year we vacation in naples! It's hands down the best! We love everything from the food to the atmosphere! A must stop for anyone who loves old school pubs! Besides the sunsets, it's where I look forward to going every year!

Frankly, I don't know what all the fuss is about this joint. Nothing special. The fish and chips were average Sysco type frozen stuff tossed in a fryer. And the catch of the day was tilapia. Give me a break. You're in SE Florida and the best you can do is some shitty Chinese imported freshwater fish that has no taste? Service was okay. Not very attentive. Just a shade less than adequate. They had the doors open on a hot day and sitting inside was not much relief. I would not return to this place.

My wife and i looked for a small lunch joint and this fit. Highly recommend any seafood (fish) blackened gave it a great flavor. Will eat here again. On my next visit to Naples.

Great pub fare. If you don't like it, you just don't like Pubs period. Very busy but worth the wait. Fish n Chips is the go to on the menu. If you are looking for a casual cozy semi family friendly place or just a spot at the bar, this place won't disappoint.

Stopped in here last night for dinner. Sat outside under the vines of the tree. The atmosphere was quite cool....felt like Italy (never been, put for some reason it felt like Italy)....anyways, was quite hungry so started with the nachos. The nachos, to be honest, were quite bad. They were really soggy and didn't have much flavor to them at all. For dinner I had the burger. Can't remember what it was called but it has cooked onions and BBQ sauce on it and it was quite good. I couldn't finish it all as it was definitely a good size. I'm big on fries so after I heard there were no sweet potato fries, I settled for regular fries...boo. They also only serve beer and wine, and I hate both, so I settled on a Corona. Long story short, I felt like a bloated balloon about to burst and a little disappointed because it wasn't the good full like you get after an amazing meal. I wished I had a salad instead. Service: Service was great. Our waitress was super-friendly and very attentive. No complaints there.

Very pleasant dinner. Friendly, attentive service, lovely and unpretentious decor, and good food at very reasonable prices. Fish and chips were superb! Nice beer list. Be sure to check their website for a BOGO entree offer naplespubs.com/~pubs/spe… (which must be printed out to redeem). The piano player added nicely to the ambiance.

Nice place, service is good, the beer is great and the food is really good. I tried the gator bites which was great and also tried grouper wrap which was really good as well.

This is a locals' haunt. I did not say a great locals haunt. Pub food is heavy on the fried, with drop-em-in-the-grease fries to go with it. I had the UnGrouper sandwich. The name is a nod to the all too frequent habit that restos had for substituting cheap whitefish for grouper. Then scandalously charging you for the better fish. Inspectors stopped that. This happened a lot more when grouper was more scarce. But like a lot of things that hang on after it's time is passed, the "UnGrouper" remains on the menu. At this point, I'd also like to commend the live musician who played his amplified, hybrid twelve string/acoustic instrument with ease. His repetoire goes with the Ungrouper, however, because it has hung on way past my need to hear many of the selections. We heard nothing newer than what was popular decades ago. But perhaps I was the lone crank at the outdoor tables. The most applauded number was the guitarist with his singer serenading "Where the Boys Are." The night sky barely flinched as the music spread out from Naples Pub's patio and across to the beach 2 blocks away. If that's where the boys are supposed to be - They aren't anymore here in this retirement town.

  • Alex D.

Service was excellent. Ungrouper fish sandwich blackened style was delicious! As well as the fish tacos. Loved how they had pickles on the table as we waited for your meal. The key-lime pie could have had more lime flavor as it tasted a bit like a not so good cheese cake. Coleslaw also very good.

Old Naples Pub is a great restaurant. It's hidden and very hard to find actually. We kinda stumbled into it because it's down this alley with alluring flowers and then BAM there it is!!! It's nice and quite tranquil. The sign for the old pub is small and kinda cluttered with other advertising so you might miss it. Anyway the pub is nice and has a very friendly staff. We went during the afternoon for lunch so it was not that busy. Everyone there was chill and taking it slow which was what I liked about it the most. The server "Bill" was awesome. He was very patient and helpful with the menu. The restraint has a full bar and fresh fish every day. The service was fast and well priced. The food was very tasteful and delicious. I would highly recommend this place if they come down to Naples for the weekend. I hope you enjoy this place as much as we did.

I was hanging out on 3rd st. late in the afternoon and got hungry. I was turned away from Barbatella but there was the Pub in the back, nearly empty. I sat outside in a very pleasant tree-shaded area and had a nice lunch of the Ungrouper sandwich (which came grilled, blackened or fried) with red beans and rice (surprisingly delicious with its green beans mixed in). I also had a seasonal Sam Adams draft, which gave the meal a nice finishing touch. The meal was very reasonably priced. My only complaint is that the service was a bit slow in seeing me sitting on the outside.

I recommend sitting outdoors on the patio. Vines grow up all the walls an pillars and because its in South Florida, the open air yet roofed setting makes the atmosphere perfectly pleasant. Great place to have lunch and a drink. The food, 3.7 Stars, really good, not fantastic. My grilled TIlapia was spiced and cooked just right, the sides were lacking. Key lime Pie was just pretty good. Overall, good value, great atmosphere, lots of wine and a couple decent beers on tap.

Bustling clientele at the bar, on the patio, in the little dining room make for a popular downtown casual spot. This is more, however, than pub grub though that is quite good. Tomato soup special tasted canned, but things got better after that. The yellow fin tuna sandwich was tender and served on a soft roll with teriyaki sauce. The ungrouper fish sandwich was huge and went well with the light tartar sauce and a side of fresh fruit. The side of coleslaw was good for sharing. Oh and cannot forget the delicious pickles which seem to go well with everything. There are many salads and fish items on the extensive menu. The service is also friendly and prompt.

Went to the Old Naples Pub couple of weeks ago. The setting at night is very charming in the courtyard. The food was overcooked and not very satisfying.

Great nachos. Beware that blackened fish or seafood isn't actually blackened, but heavily seasoned. Outdoor seating really cool with vines growing all over the large gazebo and outdoor heaters available on cooler nights. The staff is only semi-friendly, but quick nonetheless. I would totally go again and bring some friends!

love, love, love this place. It's one of our first stops when we come down for the season. Waitstaff is wonderful, very helpful. The outdoor seating makes you feel like you're in a garden or someone's backyard with all the vines and birds flying around. Yes, it is a neighborhood pub but everyone is welcome. The Artichoke salad with the maple vinagrette and the fish taco's are yummy. Good burgers also. Fun place to go with family and friends.

Every single time I've gone here, I leave happy. Friendly staff, honest and tasty food, fair beer and wine prices considering we are in the heart of Third Street. I've been stuck on the fresh catch salads but I had a char-grilled burger the last time and it was perfectly done. Don't miss out on this little flashback of real Old Naples.

Unless you know it's here, you won't find it. It truly is hidden, but worth searching for. I had the crab cakes with red beans and rice, and my bf had ungrouper fish and chips, which is a good thing. There is a jar of pickles on the table, entertainment (a Jimmy Buffet-like guy singing the songs), and a wonderfully eclectic wine list and very reasonable prices. It's great.

  • Scott J.

Truly a neighborhood pub, this small joint is just off the Third Street South shopping area just a few blocks from the Naples Pier. But you won't notice it just walking down the main shopping drag. It is tucked away behind some buildings, with a cool covered outdoor courtyard if you want to enjoy your meal al fresco. In addition to the outdoor seating, there are a dozen or so tables inside, surrounding the bar in a cozy environment decorated with old photographs and memorabilia from Naples past. There is always a soup and 1/2 sandwich special, and the sandwiches, soups, and salads are consistently good. My favorite burger is the Neapolitan Burger, which is topped with havarti dill cheese and a grilled portabella mushroom. The crispy fish wrap, the taco salad, and the tuna melt are my next favorite choices. There is good local entertainment several nights a week, and one of the entertainers uses the 100-year old piano in the pub. Locals love the place, though there are always a few tourists that stumble upon it.

So today was my first time to the old naples pub. I have to say it was pretty good. I ordered the classic chedder burger with smokehouse potato salad. The burger came out medium as i asked for. Potato salad was good too. Not sure what makes it "smokehouse" potato salad but i liked it. The burger was right on. Juicy and great tasting. No complaints. Went with a party of 4 people including the legendary Captain Brien! Two of us got burgers, one got a crabcake app which was good and the Capt got the yellowfin tuna. Everyone was pleased and for $47 plus tip thats not a bad deal for lunch on third street south. One minor incident did happen when a waitress accidentally dropped a tray behind me spilling a huge cup of ice water down my back onto my seat. No problem- im from jersey i can handle it. Told her calm down its no big deal. She was extra nice so no biggie. Have lunch here and feel like a member of the club.

My first trip to Old Naples Pub might have been my last one. At first, we waited for about 20 minutes to be seated. The reason that was given to us was that they didn't have enough servers so they weren't using a portion of their outdoor seating. As I was ordering the waitress cut me off and went to the next person before I could finish saying what I wanted on my burger. Next, we had to ask for refill's on our drinks, which isn't a big deal, but the worst part was she brought out a pitcher of coke and poured it into the glasses we were already using. Half my drink was water because of all the melted ice I had from the previous drink leftover in the glass. Then our meals came out. I got a BBQ Cheeseburger. My first impression of the burger wasn't that great. The bun had some type of weird black mark on it, looked like permanent marker. The burger was smothered in BBQ sauce and loaded with onions on the top. It was very messy to eat and I had to take off a lot of the onion. In spite of that, the burger was delicious, although I needed about 5 napkins to get through it. Overall I wasn't very impressed, but they nailed the most important part because my burger tasted excellent. It was a bunch of little things that the great restaurants do better.

This place was great! Didn't give five stars because our waitress wasn't very personable but the service was quick and efficient. She didn't forget the barbecue sauce. Affordable prices, great cheese and grapes, soup of the day changed my life. There is trivial pursuit cards on tables to pass the time and OH THE WHOLE OUTSIDE AREA IS COVERED IN MOOD LIGHTING AND VINES. just go.

Good food and plenty options It's not crazy expensive The service was poor and they forgot to give us our pickles! But the food and price kept the Experience fun The view on the outside of the place is beautiful

I am highly disappointed in this place. The food we ordered was sub par and delivered looking like soup kitchen gruel. The waitress from Michigan is really in need of a career change. I Will NOT be back.

You can spend a pretty penny if you're visiting from out of town in and around Naples... so after day 3 of eating and wining and dining out, we were ready for some good ol' hearty grub... We got it! Ask for the homemade pickles... a jar shows up on your table and they're delish! Try the Onion Rings... never had them so smooth and sweet.... (*chef may want to conisder a nice aioli to complement them but they were fine on their own too) Any of the burger blends will do you right... nice mix of meat. I had the Naples Pier Burger with Gorgonzola and Bacon... naked. Didn't need the bun with all that deliciousness... Peel n' Eat Drunken Shrimp - yes sir! Hubby said the UNgrouper Sandwich was UNdoubtedly the best fish sandwich he's ever had. Good times, great outdoor dining, friendly staff.

My boyfriend and I drove from Miami to Naples for a mini getaway and visit Rocky Patel's cigar bar. Before heading that way we had dinner at the pub. Good service and the food did not take longer than 15 minutes. Prices are adequate, cool decor, and nice location! I recommend it ;)

We stopped in here for drinks and dinner the other evening. We sat at the bar and there was a guy playing the piano, which was nice. It was very busy in there but the bar waitress was great. We had gator bites and onion rings, I don't really care for gator and only had one bite but it was good. My husband loved it. The onion rings were good also. We got our food to go and my husband BBQ burger was very disappointing. It was completely dry, no BBQ sauce or anything. We were already back at our hotel so he put a ton of ketchup on it which made it more edible. I had a Caesar salad, it was okay - nothing really bad but nothing really memorable either. I got it with blackened chicken but it was a bit on the tasteless side. Anyway, the bar itself has a great atmosphere and we'd definitely pop in again for drinks and appetizers.

They don't take reservations. Long wait in the drafty waiting area. The food was just (barely) okay. Oh, one more thing, the service was poor too. We won't be back.

What a beautiful place to sip beer! I just wish their beer selection was better. As a visitor to Naples it would have been nice to be able to sample some of Florida's locally crafted beer on tap. I settled for a Smithwick's which was fine. We ordered our drinks and were enjoying the atmosphere when we were informed that we had to order food or move inside. There were several tables still available but if profit trumps accommodation, fine. We weren't that hungry so we split a crab cake sandwich. It was good but nothing to write home about. Which is a shame The Old Naples Pub is a great little hideaway in downtown Naples but the hide out could use some better drinks and snacks.

I came to Naples without doing much research. My expectation was that it would be a beach town with lots of small, interesting bars and restaurants with character. Old Naples Pub was the only place we found that fit this bill--most of the rest of Naples is upscale casual places that cater to the wealthy and older residents in the area. Some people will find this pub to be nothing special, but it felt like a place to hang out, meet some locals, view the plethora of old Naples pictures hanging on the walls and kill a little time with some good pub food and a cold beer. Considering the warm and welcoming atmosphere, I wish the service had been a little more warm and welcoming. The bartender gave us the cold shoulder but was all smiles when locals sat at the bar. And when we walked in a few minutes after the opening time posted on the door, you would've thought we'd barged in 15 minutes early based on the looks we got. Once we sat down at a table, service improved immensely, but some of the staff could use some customer service training.

My wife and I stopped here while in the neighborhood on vacation. We wanted a light lunch and a beer before heading back to the shopping areas of town. Since we were so near the water on this vacation, our main criteria was usually to have a view of the Gulf. However, the reviews for this place convinced us to make an exception. And we were glad we did! The service on the open air deck was friendly and efficient. There was shade from trees, which made the environment pleasant and comfortable. The nachos were good, and with a beer the price came to about $15/person. Not a bad price considering the area. I recommend this location to anybody looking for a nice lunch for a good price in Naples.

I had a chicken salad on a bed of mixed greens and my husband had nachos. Both were excellent! For the price, we were even more pleased given the up-scale nature of the area. We chose Old Naples Pub based on other's Yelp reviews. We were looking for a casual, down-home feel and we found it here. It's not near the water really, nor does it have a great view of anything in particular, but it was an agreeable trade off for the good food, beer, and company. There's a small courtyard with perhaps ten tables for outdoor seating and we had a great afternoon sitting there and chatting with each other. Parking is either street parking in the area, or there is a large lot on one side of the building. We were here in the summer and didn't have a problem with parking options. Total cost for two entrees, a beer, and a soft drink was about $25-30. We would absolutely return on our next trip to Naples.

I've been to the Village Pub previously, so the menu was fairly familiar. We decided to sit outside as it wasn't too ungodly hot out. The set up is really nice with an abundance of plants. The service was fairly attentive. My parents had been here before and liked it a lot. I decided to get the beef and vegetable soup as a starter. It came out quickly and was quite hot. It had great flavor and plenty of beef/veggies. I was pleased that I didn't have to put any salt or pepper in it. For my entree I went with the mahi tacos. They were a bit disappointing. You get 3 of them, but the amount of fish is really skimpy. The dressing/slaw/fixings all have great flavor, but there just simply was not enough mahi. There were too many bites taken where it was nothing but slaw. My girlfriend had ordered the crab cake sandwich and didn't like it at all. She noted that there was too much filling. I'm not exactly sure if we would come back as there are just too many restaurants in the Naples area to try.

Kind of small and has an old school seafood shack type feel. I had the roast beef & gorgonzola on focaccia sandwich with fries. Lots of flavor! Free homemade pickles are at every table. Prices aren't too bad, either. Yummy key lime pie (not green either, which apparently means it's better--and it was!)

Tired of the $$$$ restaurants of Naples? If you're a tourist, go to Tommy Bahamas. (There's a reason why it's hidden) Resident of Naples? Come right in! Great Burgers and other pub food. The blackened grouper is pretty good too. They have fried alligator in case you bring a friend that's never tried.

I visited the Old Naples Pub while traveling through Naples one night for dinner. It's a very cute and quaint little place in a very nice area in Naples (I believe it's called the Fifth Street shops). However, being from a big city, I kind of expected it would be a little rowdier. But, to be fair, it was a Sunday night. Still, it was closed at 9PM :( we barely made it in time for dinner. Despite that, I had the soup and salad combo. On that particular evening, the soup was Cream of Mushroom; it was so delectable that it has actually inspired me to try to make some on my own. The sandwich was great as well. Lovely little place :)

Its not a bad place to get a drink and chill out from the busy Naples downtown but I think the food is only ok there. I had salads, fish sandwiches etc there several times and they are slightly above average. All in all, an average spot.

Atmosphere, it was very cool if you get to sit under the vines. Otherwise it's inside or alley patio. Food... a step above fried pub fare. I got the mahi mahi tacos, they somehow pulled all the flavor out of them. Bland. Wife had the fish and chips. The fish was ungrouper. What the hell! At best our food was average. Service....the hostess seemed put out she had to seat us. The waiter was snotty at first, but got a bit better towered the end. Find some where else to eat.

Off the beaten path, so to speak, and located through a corridor off Third Street, we love going to Old Naples Pub for a beer after some beach time. It's a quiet, relaxed little bar, which means we don't have to worry about good posture or martinis at one of the nicer Third Street restaurant bars. Not that there's anything wrong with good posture or martinis, but if you just want a beer and some quiet, this is your place. The courtyard features vines that wind their way up a spiral staircase several floors. It's beautiful. The food is typical Florida bar food, and it's not the best. If you're looking for good food, you can go back to Third Street. But for beer, pickles, and an ivy view, Old Naples Pub is your place.

One of my favorite stops on my last trip to Naples. Free pickles at the bar, the fried gator was delicious. Beer & wine only. This seemed like a locals kind of bar. It's really small inside, they had a guy playing the piano and it set the mood. I totally prefer this place to Tommy Bahama's. I'll be back for sure.

Naples isn't the easiest place for a vegetarian out-of-towner on a budget, so I feel blessed to have stumbled upon Old Naples Pub (something other than overpriced, middling Italian for tourists? Sold!). While the menu at Old Naples Pub is heavy on the burgers and seafood, there are a few choices that work just fine for us veggies. Though I get bored of restaurants offering portabella sandwiches, this one was a cut above, piled high with roasted red peppers and marinated in a delicious sauce that was seasoned with an herb that I couldn't place (oregano? thyme?). Add slaw and fries for a couple bucks and it was more food than I could possibly handle. A decent beer selection, with a nice seasonal tap available. My boyfriend's fish tacos were excellent and dessert (the triple berry apple tart a la mode) disappeared without any effort, despite coming at the end of a very full meal. We sat outside in the atrium and were privileged to be served by Bill, a mellow, but very hard-working fellow who knows how to provide prompt, thorough service without getting all up in your face and being over-the-top with forced enthusiasm. He pointed out a few things he liked on the menu, but didn't drone on and on about everything, which to me, can get a little uncomfortable. Old Naples Pub has great food, wonderful atmosphere, good value and solid service (provided you aren't into the kind of waiter who hangs around your table asking how everything is, every other bite). We will definitely be back, likely with friends or family in tow.

Best little pub ever! Unlimited free pickles and the food is just amazing. I had the Catch of the Day with the artichoke salad.....out of this world! The bartender Debbie was the sweetest lady ever. If I didn't live in NJ I would eat here weekly!

Old Naples Pub has great food, wonderful atmosphere, good value and solid service (provided you aren't into the kind of waiter who hangs around your table asking how everything is, every other bite). We will definitely be back, likely with friends or family in tow.

It's great.

We always stop here at least once on our yearly Florida trip to Naples. Kids love it. I love it. Burgers are juicy and fresh. It's a great place to hang out for a few drinks on a lazy afternoon while taking a break from the beach. Can't wait to go back.

Went to the Old Naples Pub couple of weeks ago. The setting at night is very charming in the courtyard. The food was overcooked and not very satisfying.

Love the atmosphere and outdoor seating here but the service isn't that great and I think the food is a little over priced. Burgers don't come with a side so you have to order extra which I didn't like.

Great little spot close to all the action. We were looking for something a little more casual (read not $$$) than the hot spots. The food is good and more on the "bar food" end of the spectrum. We sat outside and it was lovely. It is a little bit small so you may have to wait, but that's what the bar is for!

A great option off 3rd Street if you aren't looking for the high-end, high priced restaurant. Outdoor seating without a multi hour wait time.

Great pub fare. If you don't like it, you just don't like Pubs period. Very busy but worth the wait. Fish n Chips is the go to on the menu. If you are looking for a casual cozy semi family friendly place or just a spot at the bar, this place won't disappoint.
