This is sad because this review is low only because of two staff members. I witnessed two cashiers make some very rude comments publicly to a customer who parked in correctly. This person was so embarrassed over the rude comments that he left really mad. About 10 or so people made comments about the interaction and left me shocked at the low class interaction. BUT...they have great seafood pricing.

Absolute go to for groceries in Naples. Best fresh produce, fruits and meat. Can't say enough great things about this place. Most of the stuff you'll buy here will be cheaper and *key word* better than what you'll get at publix or what have you. Did I pay 7$ for a box of strawberries? Guilty. But those were the best damn strawberries I've ever had in my entire life. So I think I'll splurge. Again and again.

I have been a huge fan for years. Today, I witnessed the staff placing large chain grown produce. In locally grown, fresh picked containers. I am saddened now. Very saddened.

This place is great! Small, nicely stocked farm market on Davis Blvd. Local honey and produce, a very good wine selection, Captain Jacks fresh seafood and delicious, organic meat. This is where I get my Manly-man steaks. I squealed like a fat kid on free icecream day when I saw that they carry Hummels Hotdogs. Awesomeness. The whole seafood/meat crew is awesome and friendly and are there for any questions. Some prices are a little laughable, but other things like organic milk, eggs and cheeses are worth it for sure. Meat and seafood prices are almost comparable to Publix, however the quality is superior.

The owners have greatly expanded its parking, which makes it so much easier for entry/exit here. They now have a deli, fresh fish counter, fresh meat counter, etc. The wine selection is nice as well and at reasonable prices....always stop here when visiting Naples!

When it comes to fresh produce, quality meat and rotisserie chicken, Oakes is the best place in Naples bar none. Stay away from buying canned or packaged goods that you can buy at a supermarket, Oakes is expensive for those things. Capt Jerry's Fish & Seafood relocated to Oakes from Wynne's and it's good, but not great. Still Oakes is a local treasure.

What a great little market! Hands down the best strawberries I've ever had and their bakery is great. Prices are great on lots of the produce and for the fish market. It would be great if they expanded their beverage selection to include more fresh juices and maybe some specialty drinks like horchata. I'll be back!

Absolutely love this fresh market. Best quality and prices hands down. It is amazing what quality can buy you here versus other markets/cafes. All the fresh veggies and fruit that actually taste like fresh and burst with flavor. Tons of quality meats including grass fed. Wild caught fish as well as other fresh fish. Nothing ever frozen. Also loved the selection of other staples and imported favorites. Deli was spectacular with so many choices of homemade salads. Lastly, you have to visit the bakery. BEST AROUND! We have tried all the markets and bakeries and Oakes cannot be beat! Just watch out for the parking lot....everyone goes in so many different directions without a traffic pattern. However worth the trouble!

Yay! The expansion was worth the wait. I only went about 6 days after the new part opened, so they probably have improved the deli and bakery waiting areas. It was too small of an area for a crowd of people to wait. This is my first choice in Naples for produce, butcher, seafood and some home cooking when I don't feel like doing it myself. This gets 5 stars whereas Publix would get 2 starts. Fresh Market (east naples) gets 4 stars. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that they carry grass fed beef...not just ground beef. And it's not frozen like Trader's. I don't frequent Traders or Whole Foods much since I live in Veronawalk (collier/41). I would HIGHLY recommend Oak's for their very fresh produce, great wine selection, excellent butchers and friendly staff. Oh, and often the prices are much lower than crapppppy Publix. BONUS! and the food doesn't start rotting on the drive home like it does at the E. Naples Publix locations (yes, all of them are horrible).

OAK FARMS MARKET? You just can't get it any better!! I own a local pizza business (Gatsby's Pizza To Go) and we buy several fresh vegies from the Oaks Farm Market to pass along to our customers. We have a very high standard product that has a 50 year old recipe that means quality plus! I have used all the departments in their market, Love the meat and fish department! They are second to none! What a great staff, very friendly and helpful... Who said they are over priced? This is a place where you really get what you pay for!

Great local farm market for fresh groceries! They are in the process of expanding the market, so you kind have to battle with some construction. But overall, it doesn't effect the great foods you can find there. I personally think they have the best guacamole and chicken salad ever. Go during the day time to snag a fresh made chicken pot pie!! They're delicious! Great selection of produce, seafood, and meats. I'd stay away from the canned goods. They're a little on the expensive side. The staff is all extremely friendly and will help you find anything you need.

This is the best market in Naples. The meat is fantastic, the prepared meatloaf (you cook it yourself) is excellent, the fish is always fresh and fairly priced. Now they have the BEST Italian bakery I have been to. It doesn't carry every thing you need, but I stop here first then complete my shopping at Publix. I love shopping here. I also am a Fresh Market and Whole Foods shopper. Oakes is better.

Oh. My. God. I could live here. Everything is so delicious, so fresh, so fragrant. I find something new to fall in love with every time I go in! Their strawberries smell as amazing as they taste. They have some of the best salsa I've ever eaten. Their deli is full of mouth-watering choices. I wish I could scoop up Oakes Farm and plop it down in my town. I make a point to shop here every time I'm in Naples and I highly recommend it.

Just tried the Monday 1/2 price pizza deal, and it was tasty. Medium crust, not quite as crispy as some, fresh toppings (Seed to Table version), good amount of cheese. Service was great. Produce here is some of the best that you can find at quite reasonable prices. Freshly made guac, salsa, and onion salad(you have to try it!) are great. Meat counter has nice choice - try the meatloaf that they make ready-to-bake - it's awesome. Bakery is excellent, too.

I am happy because today I learned that the steamer they use to kill the live lobsters in, they bought a new one that the lobsters die in 2 seconds instead of 5 minutes!!! I learned that you could hear the lobsters thrashing and scraping the walls around in the old 5 minute steamer case so it took them 5 minutes to die, now they die in 2 seconds. So someone told me this, I don't know how true this is, but the person said they don't hear them thrashing about in there anymore. I have not eaten lobster for this cruel reason of killing them since like 1986, but I applaud them for going a little more humane. Hey, it's better to kick a dog 5 times instead of 6 right?

Great small gourmet organic grocery store. The fruits and veggies were fresh and displayed great. Lots of fresh fish on ice. Twenty seven different salad already made and sold by the pound. Pre made hot foods looked delicious and reasonably priced. Now let's talk about desserts. Lots of variety. A little pricey but I think for the quality and size of the pasties they were worth the price. Great place to return to.

I live in the neighborhood behind Oakes Farms and they are hands down the worst neighbors ever! It took a Facebook campaign and many complaints to code enforcement to get them to have their dumpsters emptied more than 3 times a week - and they have a FISH MARKET! You can't imagine the stench. Once they started getting their dumsters emptied more than 3 times a week, our problem with vultures and rats is not as bad. Talk about an unsanitary business! Yuk! The latest problem is the noise. They've had a generator up against my neighbor's yard for at least 6 months. It was running 24/7, now it goes on and off every 20 minutes or so. Can you imagine the noise? Check out my iphone videos. youtube.com/watch?v=DDfk… Alphie and Eric Oakes just lie to us and never do anything. Alphie told me personally (in writing too) that he would move the generator truck on March 19. It's now May 11. Yet another ongoing problem is the trucks. Oakes Farms trucks and all their vendor trucks cut through our family neighborhood, block the street and turn around in the neighborhood. One of the trucks knocked down the NO TRUCKS sign! This has been going on for years. With the expansion, the Oakes brothers did nothing to address this problem. These people have no empathy or thought for others. I can't imagine how they live with themselves. And don't be fooled - only 3.3% of their food is organic, according to the Oakes Farms website. I can tell you by the huge semis in my neighborhood all day long that their products come from the same places as the other large grocery stores.

Our first time in Naples for a week-long New Year getaway, and not wanting to do the New Year's Eve restaurant scene, our condo manager steered us to Oakes Market for our dinner ingredients. Wow! What a great place to find everything we needed. My wife and I are surf and turf . . . I'm surf and she's turf. Since I already had her ribeye aging in the fridge, I just needed the seafood. I settled for about ten scallops, a half dozen 10-15/ct Gulf shrimp (they weren't even the biggest in the case!) and a grouper cheek of about six ounces. The people working the counter were very friendly and very helpful. The produce section provided fresh full green beans, a couple nice sweet potatoes, tomatoes, shallots and a perfectly ripe avocado. The real finds, however, were a ziploc full of fresh rosemary for $1.69 and a basket of the plumpest, reddest and biggest strawberries I've seen since I lived in Washington state 40 years ago. There's only one place at home in Kansas City that even approaches the quality of Oakes' produce. I bypassed the wine since we had what we needed, but it looked well stocked with quality and variety. And then we saw the bakery . . . cannolis and jelly rolls and rum cakes, oh my! We selected those three and one more item. As soon as we arrived back at the condo, my wife tore open the box and sampled all four. By mid-evening only crumbs were left in the box. Yum and double yum! I grilled the seafood along with the steak. I concentrated on the grouper cheek, since I'd never had one. After dinner I had four shrimp and about six scallops left. Our landlady and her boyfriend, Naples natives who get fresh seafood always, were sitting out, so I took them the plate of leftovers. I'm a pretty good cook, but fresh ingredients make all the difference. She said she'd never eaten a better scallop. That's a grand endorsement for Oakes' seafood! Please open a store in Kansas City!

I had my first visit to Oakes farm this week and I was not disappointed. The produce selection was very impressive and I was equally impressed with the bakery and the wine selection. What impressed me most of all was the number of organic items they carry. I had a wonderful time browsing this unique place and would definitely recommend to others. I would have given them five stars but I went at a very busy tine of day and the staff wasn't overly friendly or helpful. I was able to find everything I needed on my own and will chock up the service issue to them being swamped. I will definitely be back but will try to avoid the lunchtime crowds.

Great place for unique and farm fresh products. We've got a market similar to this at home (California) and I enjoy looking for unusual food items. Looks like very high quality meats and a very nice bakery department. Fresh produce and the prices weren't as high as I thought they might be. Bananas were actually a lot cheaper than Costco! I also bought a bottle of wine that was $2 less than the normal price at home, so I was pretty pleased.

Great place. Produce looks fresh, great variety of homemade table ready food, decent variety of cheeses.... Only negative thing (I'm really nitpicking here), is they don't have wine bottles larger than 750 mL- not the end of the world. Staff are a little young and not as sociable as I'd like but again, by no means a bad experience. Go see for yourself, this place has a lot to offer.

This is a great market always crowded. Fresh is the key word here. The fresh squeezed OJ is the best at a fair price. Usually there are plenty of samples to try before you buy. They are noted for their fruits and vegetables but they generally have really good deals on fish and lobster. A lot of times I can get lobster (live) for $9.95 per pound until season kicks in. As far as the bakery department goes we have had cakes, napoleon's, cannoli's. But none of them have lived up to their looks. Then again this isn't the reason I go here.
