I would probably ignore most of the negative reviews from some of these patrons, if you look at their profiles they have nothing good to say about anything on earth, which leads me to believe they are simply negative, uneducated idiots. Having said that Manzanillo's is probably one of the better Mexican restaurants you will find in the naples area. I'm not saying this place is the best Mexican you will eat, but when comparing to slop houses like Chipoltle, Flaco's, and MASA, it's wins hands down. The Chips and Salsas especially the tomatillo salsa are great. The Chicken Mole was rich and flavorful, just the right amount of sweeta and spicy exactlly what you would expect in a good black mole, the enchiladas and Quesadillas also impressed. The Mariachi band playing made the night, they sounded great!! Will be back.

I am an open person when it comes to trying out new places to eat and supporting local business. My girlfriend and I went into Manzanillo's on a Friday night around 9PM after a long week of work (and we both love Mexican food). What a horrible experience. Firstly then decor in this place is amazing. A lot of potential based solely on looks. When we came in we asked if they were still serving dinner and the bartender told us yes. We sat down ordered drinks and a couple of appetizers. We ordered queso enfuendito and ceviche (on the bartenders request0. We were told the the ceviche was made to order and delicious. I consider myself pretty educated on ceviche given my past experiences in central america. We asked for no onions and got onions. The fish was warm and very fishy. The queso on the other hand was fantastic. We then ordered chicken tacos. And let me tel you that we got three corn tortillas and tyson's microwaved chicken. That's it! No cheese, veggies, or anything. So what? Bad food...whatever. It gets worse. The whole time we were there a band was sound checking in the larger room. Apparently they turn into a nightclub after 1030. We were there at 9. They could have closed the doors. Then as if microwaved chicken tacos and room temperature ceviche were not bad enough...the bartender brings me a check (having not asked why we didnt even touch the ceviche or how the microwaved chicken tacos were) and tells me he needs me to cash out because he has to switch to "nightclub mode". Our bill 60 freaking dollars!!!!!!! I tipped him $15. And we received no thank you, no come back again, no hope to see you soon. Unless you are looking to pay $14 for microwaved chicken tacos and wait for "night club mode" then I highly recommend you go to any other restaurant that serves mexican food in our area. I joined YELp! because the experience was so horrible. This place has been open 3 months and I imagine it will be closed in another 3. Such a shame considering their potential with location and decor.

This is, by far, the biggest rip off restaurant I've been to here in Naples; that's saying a lot because there are a ton of places here simply not worth the money. My family and I came here for dinner on Cinco de Mayo. Before we were seated, we were told They were offering a buffet special ($25 AYCE from a selection plus one margarita) but also offering their regular menu as well. I indicated that we were interested in their regular menu, then our waitress seated us. We had our infant with us, which the waitress noted was sleeping. Well, we were seated in the ballroom area where the mariachi music was blaring. My significant other couldn't even hear what I was saying to him. And then, she only gave us one of each menu?? What??? We're a party of five. Fine, you don't want to give menus to our small children, but at least have one for each adult. The restaurant wasn't even at half capacity... You can spare an extra menu, people. Let's talk about the menu. When it was my turn to read it, I decided to get a queso fundido app for all of us to share, and a taco platter. On the menu it clearly states Queso Fundido.... Seared chorizo, Monterey chihuahua cheese, with salsa or a roasted tomatillo salsa. $8 And the taco platters are served with rice and beans. Choices of chicken, skirt steak, carnitas, al pastor (which, here, is made from steak?? What??) fish, shrimp, and picodillo. Varied from $13-16. It doesn't mention Combos. I ordered two al pastor tacos, and one steak taco. Both are priced at $14 on the menu. She doesn't mention an up charge whatsoever. SO orders $15 enchiladas, the kids order mac and cheese and fingers. Well, the food. Queso fundido comes out after a long wait and it's just cheese. Hot, baked, melted chihuahua cheese. No chorizo, no scallions on the top. Literally just cheese. I've had it before at different Mexican restaurants, but if you're going to mention that there is chorizo in your description, please put it on the actual dish as well. Other than that, it was fine. How do you screw up baked cheese? After another long wait, our entrees came out. Chris liked his enchiladas just fine, but my tacos weren't that great. The tortillas didn't feel or taste like they were warmed/pan fried, and they kept breaking apart, spilling all the contents. The steak (on the steak taco) was dry, but the al pastor steak (lol) at least had some juice from the overpowering pineapple. Whatever. The mac and cheese was Kraft Mac and cheese, the chicken was standard. My four year old that loves rice and beans and could eat it every day, wouldn't touch either. This brings me to service. There was a lot of waiting between a lot of things. Initially asking us for drinks (we ordered water and milk for the kids). Wait ten minutes. Ordering off the menu. Wait ten minutes. Having our app arrive, wait even longer. Wait for the food. Ask for more water. Twice. Wait wait wait. Like I said, the restaurant was barely half capacity and some of the patrons were utilizing the buffet. So what exactly was the hold up here? Chris had ordered a beer that was apparently forgotten, as it never made it to the table. We had to ask for napkins. We had to ask for silverware. We had to ask for ketchup for the kid's fries. And every single time we requested something, our waitress looked and sounded so annoyed. Here's what really pisses me off. When we got the bill,my taco platter was marked up. Because it was a Combo. The managers must be smoking something because that is simply outrageous. Seriously, someone please contact me and explain to me why that's a markup that's not even listed on the menu or noted to the patron. That's equivalent to a Rick Bayless dinner, and Rick Bayless Manzanillo's is not. Nowhere even in the vicinity. And the kids meals don't include drinks. $3 for each milk, and that doesn't include refills (my son tried asking, and was shot down.) I realize that everyone in Naples has oodles of money except for us, but paying $62 dollars for an awful dinner is just robbery. I wouldn't even pay $15 for a meal like this Save yourself the $45 and go down to the taquerias down 41. The money saved is worth the longer drive. Chipotle or even Salsa Brava would be better than this rip off. And cheaper, too. We had come here because we needed to make a Trader Joe's run. I still haven't learned that delicious convenience isn't an option in this city.

Average at best, new so it might improve. Limited menu, never heard of charro beans, loud but they had a party going on which over whelmed the restaurant. I'm from Texas and this is not what either Mexican or TexMex food is. So maybe snowbird land could enjoy but I would suggest elsewhere. House Marg was good but pricey. $9 for a house Marg is too much!

Driving up, employee in front talking to friend in car blocking the approach. Front door jammed open with a rock. At the bar, kitchen door propped open; clean, but not what I want to look at. Restaurant empty at 6pm, our 4 the only ones there. Chips OK, sauce (not plain salsa) very good. My Chicken Mole: sauce excellent, but very small portion. Appetizer size at best for $18. Rice tasteless, re-fried beans bland. Mariachi enchilada OK, but also very small $15. At this rate they won't be there vary long. Hope the next one is better.

Dinner tonight was chips, salsa, margaritas, snapper Veracruz, chile relleno, and tres leches. Chips and salsa are excellent. Margaritas were good, but slightly sweeter than we like. The snapper Veracruz had more capers than we like. The chile relleno was very tasty, with a particularly tasty sauce and pepper. The stuffing was a ground beef picodilla and was blander than we like, being used to one with small bits of dried fruit and fresh onion melded with some spicy seasoning. The tres leches cake was full of the classic favors of that dessert, topped with a couple of strawberries: delicioso.

One word: yum! I'm particular with my restaurant choices when I'm down here, in Naples/Bonita, everything is an overpriced bland chain restaurant - not this place! This is now my favorite restaurant in Naples. The food is delicious and affordable, plus the staff is enjoyable! A rare find find in this part of FL. I told all my parents friends, everyone should try this place.

New restaurant. Decor is nice but it is really noisy. Food was good but options were limited in that you couldn't order alacart. Salsa pretty good. Service was good. I loved that they left water carafe on the table.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
