Had a great time with my 3 besties and I ...we are out-of-towners but had heard of Jack's. I'd had a completely different idea of what this place would be like ... it was different but great, just the same. Casual - great food and drinks -- we sat on the shaded patio overlooking the pool. From Boston, we weren't accustomed to customers smoking while we were eating but we managed well. I'd recommend you go to Jack's and have some fun!!

A hidden gem in Naples because of its location and members only status. Once you're in, you'll find that Jack's is one part of the trinity of the Naples Harbor and Yacht Club restaurants. Downstairs, you can enjoy the same menu indoors as out on the patio which has a private pool and hot tub for members and guests. Upstairs is the fine dining room of Gordon's On The River. Jack's has a simple menu; salads, great burgers, sammies and assorted specials daily. The food has always been great and fast to the table. Servers are friendly and attentive to members needs. This is also a great place to host private parties. Plenty of space for guests and an excellent catering menu. Additionally, they have themed menus each month like Mexican Night, or Prime Rib Thursdays as well as entertainment and music. Just check their calendar and pop in for info on how to join!

WOW! On my last day in Naples we went here because my boyfriend's Mom joined as a member and also had a really great deal from Restaurant.com . I thought this place was the bomb. It had a very pleasant pool, great hot tub, saunas in the women and men's locker rooms, a work-out area, and a pleasant atmosphere in general. It doesn't cost much to become a member here. It's only $200 for a year, and if you look in the newspaper they are always offering it for $99. I was surprised by that. I mean, private access to a pool, hot tub, and work out area for less than $9 a month. That's a steal. Not to mention you can bring your family or friends with you too! And they have a cute little bar and a full restaurant attached as well. As a member, for every $500 you spend, you get $100 back to spend on food. So that's a pretty cool kick-back. We ate on one of the patios, and had an excellent server who actually had to handle our table, another table inside, and still other tables further down on another patio. I was impressed. She was always on top of refills, and when our food came out, even though some of us had requested certain things, everything was just as we had asked. Kudos Debra!!! I can tell you specifically what to avoid and what not to, as far as the food is concerned. Don't get the pizza. It's just a standard small-ish pizza, and really there was certainly nothing special about it. That is absolutely not the case for a TON of their other stuff though, so that's why it's a waste to get pizza when you can get...well, practically ANYTHING else. Since we had to spend $150 to get $75 off, we got SOOOO MUCH FOOD. There were five of us, and the prices here are actually extremely reasonable, so each of us had to order an appetizer and an entree to get the bill up there. We had chicken strips and fries, macaroni and cheese, a ribeye panini, a cuban panini, a mahi-mahi reuben, a NY strip steak, chicken nachos, cheese pizza, and grilled chicken salad. OH.MY .GOSH. We all just shared with eachother, so I got to taste all of those things. The paninis. GET THEM. I don't care which... because of the two we had, they were HUGE, and super tasty. The cuban had pulled pork, ham, swiss, some green peppery seasoning (so good) and on a standard panini-d bread. It was just delicious. The Ribeye Panini was even better. Perfectly shredded ribeye, red peppers, pepper jack cheese(?), flattened to the perfect texture. They come with pickles and potato wedges. MMM. The mahi-mahi reuben was excellent too. A huge piece of fish, on an awesome tasty marble bread, thousand island dressing, swiss. It was loved by all. The steak is pretty thin so it can get overcooked easily, so I'd recommend ordering it more rare than you like it and then it will come out perfect. We had that tip from someone who had dined there before, and it worked out great. The macaroni and cheese was just penne pasta and shredded cheese on top but then was in a really creamy cheesy sauce that I loved. I still can't figure out exactly what kind of cheese it was. But for $3 you can add it to any entree. I recommend that. The rest of the things were also good... I mean it's hard to mess up nachos, salad, and chicken, so yeah, it was kind of standard dishes, but executed very well. The grilled chicken they use is blackened and definitely not skimpy, so be it salad or nachos, you will get full. I had ranch with some of the fried chicken tenders, and they make all of their dressings from scatch. You could tell. We didn't spend enough so we ordered beer, and on draft they had $3 beers, and that was definitely a good price. Imagine just chilling by the pool and drinking $3 beers all day. I could. So to any of you who live in Naples, I would definitely go here! Get a membership even! The first time you come you can use all of the amenities for free anyways, so at least check it out. If you don't have a pool and you live close enough to this place, it's a great way to chill around throughout the year.

We just left there, I have to say I ENJOYED. This place, our appetizers were awesome! It was not happy hour , BUT prices weren't to bad . Could of been slightly lower , but the bartender Eric he was awesome. Caring!!! We can't wait to go back and try dinner , at Gordon's steak house. It's upstairs . Going try that this week! I recommend trying this place, it's hidden away. I love it !!!!

We love coming here - cold beers, a pool to keep the kiddo entertained, classic bar food - all in a place where you feel hidden away from the daily grind.

Fantastic lunch! I had a burger that was out-of-this-world delicious for lunch and my business partner had an equally superb quesadilla! Whether you're on the good during business or relaxing for the day, Jack's is a must for lunch and on Sunday's the brunch is best in Naples!! The staff made the visit fun and the manager was even there to greet us when I walked in the restaurant.

New to the area, we found this place on Yelp and got take-out one night. It's kind of difficult to find and not super convenient. It was dark when I went in so it might have a nice view outside but I'm not sure. When I got there, they were still getting my food together. I had ordered the fish tacos that were on the appitizer menu and they informed me that because of a party they were catering, they were out of the tropical salsa that usually goes on them so they gave me some pico. Not that big of a deal, but the stuff that's supposed to be on them would have been nice. Plus, the two tacos were $10 and there was only one little sad piece of fish in each taco. My husband got a tropical chicken club (or something like that) that was pretty tasty and a salad that he ended up sharing with me because my tacos were so small. The food was good but I felt like it was overpriced for what we got.

We stopped in at Friday's happy hour because Jack's was hosting the kick off for the Women Go Fishing commercial weekend. This is a business that offers a day's clinic and fishing tutorial, followed by a day on the water for a hundred bucks. There was a narrow aisle set up with silent auction items. A greeter from the fishing clinic was at the door, selling raffle tickets. Those are Interesting retail concepts borrowed from charity, since proceeds on this night appeared to be going to a commercial outfit. I could be corrected about that. There was info available about fish species preservation and habitat ecologies. However, any sponsoring agency wasn't all that apparent. A good sized crowd of people who were casually dressed in shorts and t's, filled the tables and lined the bar. The menu offered bar food, but we didnt stay for more than a drink. The pub atmosphere is fun with whimsical decoration. eg, A bicycle wrapped in white Christmas lights hangs from the ceiling.

We sat on the patio for lunch today. I had the house salad and a side of mac and cheese. The salad was large and pretty good, but the mac and cheese side was wonderful. A tad noisy, as it is near the airport, but nonetheless, a nice place to dine!

My wife and I went to Jacks for lunch a few weeks ago and we were given a two week pass to the members only club. Our lunch that day consisted of a burger with fries for me and my wife ordered the special of salad with steak on it. The waitress did her job and asked how she wanted her steak. My wife said medium the waitress asked medium well my wife said no medium rare. I watched the waitress write the order so she did her job. What came out of the kitchen was a total disappointment . The steak was cooked well done and you could hardly cut it with a knife let alone chew it. The salad was nothing special just a few greens. The burger that was obviously previously frozen was edible at best for the same price there are dozens of places within two miles that would serve you a fresh ground burger that would put them to shame. The hostess made a big point of telling us she gave us a temporary pass dated for the 14th so we could come to their blues bash. We arrived last night it was ten dollars a head to enter to cover the cost of the band and what they called a barbecue buffet. The barbecue buffet had two big problems. The first being they expected hundreds of people to be fed thru a single line. The least they could have done was move the table over to allow a double lane. On top of that the barbecue consisted of hamburgers, hot dogs pork and beans and a couple salads. And a line of over fifty people. The other big problem was no bar service. The main floor indoor bar had one very hard working bartender and zero organization set up by management for the bartender to know who to serve next. I waited for 20 minutes to get a drink and it was total chaos. People were walking away rude patrons would walk up and yell out a drink order instead of waiting behind the people they could obviously see had been waiting customers were having words with each other. After twenty minutes another bartender showed up and helped out so after about 30 minutes I bought a glass of Chardonnay for seven dollars that I brought to my wife. When my wife tasted the wine she made a face like YUCK!! I tasted it and it tasted like warm vinegar. We left with no food I did have a draft beer so we paid $27.00 for a good lesson. DON'T GO TO JACKS RIVER BAR. I am glad we returned as my wife wanted to join to have a place to eat during season. The Marco Yacht club is a much better deal costs less and you get great food for a dining only membership.
