This is my favorite bagel chain in the states. There is a great variety and flavors and the quality is very nice. I usually go for the onion or everything bagel but even just a plain or wheat is nice. I really like their garden veggies cream cheese. The coffee is serve yourself and there are many flavor options, including iced coffee. The cost is good for the products you receive.

I had to go to Einstein Bros. twice in a week to get some green chili bagels. I am familiar with the quality of Einstein's Bagels in California having been to the Pasadena location several times. The quality was just as good but the service here is very poor. I was referred to as "buddy" on the second occasion and I had to repeat my order both times I ordered. The manager on the second visit actually stopped the person filling my order at the register to go help someone else. When I did receive help, the lady at the register was celebrating her birthday (there was a note on the counter to wish her happy birthday) got my order wrong and tried to charge me for less than I ordered. I had to tell her to charge me more... When you are charging $10 for 9 bagels they had better be good and I should expect good service when ordering them. It is just not the case at this location

This franchiser better get his act together. The bagels are fine, just out of the oven, but were available on this day in limited quantity and flavors. Don't even think about asking the staff to alter the bagel in any way. I asked for mine to be toasted and buttered. it was handed to me, a lump of unmelted butter on one end, and toasted to a burnt-edge crisp. As I waited for a re-do, I saw that bagels were routinely singed and passed on to customers. And how do you mess up coffee? Come to this location to find out. There was no, zippo, nada coffee ready at 9:30 AM, despite five urns with brewing timers standing idle. A big anonymously standing pot was hurriedly shlepped to a waiting and similarly unmarked urn as customers stood by, empties in hand. This coffee tasted decidely scalded. Since I like to savor my brew, a ceramic mug or cup would be nice. Not here. You will get a one size fits all paper cup, and that's the only thing available. Mr Einstein, pictured on a poster touting his coffee opinion, and shown with not only a real cup but a saucer too, would certainly disapprove. The staff was tripping over each other, with no orchestration to get most orders correct between the register/point of sale and the end of the counter where customers got their paid orders handed to them. I've come here several times, hoping each disappointing experience was a fluke - but I'm afraid disappointment is standard fare at this Einstein's.

Keep coming back for their delicious coffee and bagels. I make a point of stopping if I ever pass this location during my daily travels. I think I'm addicted to the roasted richness of this coffee. Mmmm, not for the feint of heart, but they do offer a lighter style. I'm slightly obsessive-compulsive about the spreading of my cream cheese so I ask for it on the side. Highly recommend the specialty bagels, just splurge, you won't be sorry.
