This place is a descent sushi and Thai restaurant. Their mango tango roll is good.y favorite here is the pad Thai with chicken and veggies (this dish isn't the same without the peanut sauce on the side).

This is such a great spot, especially if you're dining in during lunch since you can take advantage of their lunch specials. I almost always order their Chicken Panang Curry; it's a tasty curry made up of red curry, coconut milk and bell peppers served along with rice. It sounds extremely simple, but this dish packs so much flavor. At only $9 the curry offers enough value, but the addition of their salad with ginger dressing truly gives you a great bang for your buck.

This is more a suggestion to the owner or management then an actual review to the food of the restaurant. I have been ordering food here for about a year now, since is a near by restaurant to my home. They advertised that they are open until 10:30 PM Mondays to Thursdays and until 11:00 PM Saturdays and Sundays. However if you call to place an order withing 15 minutes to closing they wont take your order and they said that the kitchen is closed that you need to call earlier. i am Sorry! "I think that if you advertised that your establishment is open until 11:00 PM you should be able to place an order until 11:00 PM". I hope this serve as a wake up call to management to have the opportunity to make adjustments and continue been the good restaurant that they are.

I've been coming here many times, more than the amount of my check-ins here. It's my mom's favorite restaurant, and I could see why. For a girl who loves trying new items on the menu at each visit, I've actually developed some "usuals," including their beef Pad Sew Ew, their Tom Yum Goong, and their beef Drunken Noodle. All very good choices in their own way. The dishes here are sharable; my mother always shares her favorite chicken Pad Thai with me, and my honey and I like to take turns with the beef Pad Sew Ew. Although I prefer their warm dishes over their sushi, I still order a roll, occasionally. I haven't had a roll I didn't like! Service is great, and I recall two of the servers that have been there since the beginning. That's a good sign. In the early years of coming here, I used to religiously order the Thai iced tea. It's delicious and sweet! No particular reason why I stopped ordering it recently. Perhaps because I've switched my sweet-cravings from the mentioned tea to fried ice cream tempura (also sharable). My least favorite dessert was the mochi ice cream; the mochi was too hard when they're supposed to be squishy. It's overall a great place for lunch/dinner! I do warn ya, it gets PACKED on the weekends, even with the outdoor seating. Plan accordingly.

This place always has and will impress me. It's in the back end of a busy plaza and doesn't seem to get too packed, they do quite a bit of take out. The service is the same, nothing worth remembering but not bad. I frequently come here with Leanna J and it's agreed that any other sushi joint just doesn't compare to silver spoon. From the presentation to the price to the fresh flavor of each roll, silver spoon exceeds my expectations every time. My favorite appetizer is the fried shrimp dumplings, I just wish they would put more of them in the serving. And I also get the pink panther which is delicious. It seems to be a popular item here, as it comes with a spicy sauce that makes the roll. All in all, silver spoon is without a doubt a top notch sushi spot that I go to whenever I'm craving high quality sushi. All of the ingredients are fresh and made to order. Check them out and you will be sure to be a return customer!

literally one of my favorite restaurants. my family almost always get our food from here when we crave sushi. the sushi is really good on its own, but their thai food is also just as delicious. if i dont want sushi, i lean toward their fried rice, oyako don, or their pad see ew(?). i also gotta always have my thai iced tea...if i can manage not to drink it all before the food arrives lol also, if you order online for pick-up, they take 10% off your bill, just dont forget to tip when you pick it up, they deserve it.
(5)Mark K.
So far, best sushi in the area. The restaurant is small with good atmosphere. The prices and service are average. Our favorite is the Rainbow Supreme and Banana Ramma roll. Don't forget to try the avacato egg roll as your appetizer, it's the bomb!
(4)Allen C.
I've eaten some really good Thai food at many places around the world. I'm adding this one to the list. This place is a nice, quaint little restaurant. The food is good and the staff is friendly. I had the miso soup with green curry chicken. Very tasty with just enough spice to make you want more. No doubt, I will be back!
(4)Jess S.
I come in here every so often to dine in, but take out was absolutely horrendous. They messed up my order, charged me for sauces and the dragon roll was bad (brown avocado and no shrimp in the roll!) management didn't even have the courtesy to address my issues, very disappointed.
(1)Amanda S.
Thai food is a little bland. If you order delivery online you get a small discount. Sushi is good i actually order more sushi than anything from here because of the lack of seasoning. This is deff not the best thai but is probably One of the few that delivers. My Suggestion is to drive for better than order the thai food for delivery.
(3)Anita H.
I came in here today and ordered the broccoli with tofu stir-fry. Few bites later I found little bugs in my food and plate.Yuck!! They told me I can change to something else, but of course I did not. My appetite was gone! I am definitely not coming back.
(1)Divine A.
My to go sushi place. Love the Thai and Japanese menu. Wish it was a bigger place because they get so busy. But love this place
(5)Alfred C.
Two of us ordered the Red Curry and two others ordered the Panang Curry. The Panang looked like Red Curry and the Red Curry looked like the Panang. This was the first time I saw this so I was caught a little off guard. However, they were both delicious. Pros: Great food and excellent service. Cons: Slightly overpriced considering that we didn't receive the traditional soup and salad with our meal as in other Thai restaurants.
(4)Eli R.
Where I choose to eat depends highly on the level of service. There is no denying the food here is good. That said, restaurants are only as good as your last experience there. My last experience deserves no stars. I ordered a lunch special online for pickup that processed at 306pm. The specials end at 3PM which I could have made on time but I was at work and it took me longer than normal. When I showed up to pick up the food, the server said she tried to call me. I did have a missed call but that wasnt the issue. I missed the deadline (which their website allowed) and I now had to pay double the price for my food. I politely asked if they'd make an exception and I only asked because I eat there all the time. A no I could handle but their delivery of that "no" I could not. The woman said "the special ends at 3pm not 3:05" Is it petty? Maybe to some, but I take price in providing great customer service in what I do and I often have to say something the customer doesn't want to hear but I'm not a jerk about it. So I ate at an all around better sushi place down the road Osaka Grill (on Miramar by Dykes Rd.). At least I no longer have to split my business between the two.
(1)Lisa A.
I have been coming to Silver Spoon since it opened and not only consider myself a regular but also a free marketer for them because I have referred tons of folks here. Today my family and I had a HORRIBLE experience with our extremely rude waiter. And to top it off there is no one to complain to because apparently the owner lives in Thailand and there is no true manager at the restaurant. So as much as My family and I love the food here we will not be coming back!
(1)Janice P.
We live nearby and order at least once a week. Always fresh, delicious, and good prices. Order online for a 10% discount. Best sushi around!!!
(5)Adriana C.
Love their curry dishes! Great portions and tasty food that is not too salty. Love eating here!
(5)Valentina R.
I love Japanese food and I have to say this place has great sushi! I haven't tried their Thai food but every dish I've gotten has been great! I don't like that they up charge for simple things, like a side of spicy mayo. Other then that, great little gem in a nice shopping plaza.
(4)Meron B.
amazing place and amazing food! I came on a Friday to pick up some food for my family and even though they were pretty busy they still helped me out quite a lot with the menu for To go! will be coming back
(5)Megan N.
I got an order of Chicken Teriyaki and an order of Chicken Pad Thai to go to have for dinner and leftovers for lunch the next couple of days. I felt that both dishes were lacking on flavor and the chicken seemed really dry. Also, I found some sort of bug/beetle in my leftover Chicken Teriyaki that has ruined the prospects of eating my Pad Thai leftovers tomorrow.
(1)Melissa S.
Silver Spoon menu offers your typical thai/sushi options but are created with much more flavor. Some of the best sushi and pad thai in the West Broward area
(5)Nicole C.
I really like this place. Their Thai food is delicious, especially their curries and pad thais. Last night, I had the green curry for the first time and it was to die for. My only thing with silver spoon is the service. Yesterday I had to wait 10 minutes until anyone acknowledged us at our table. Granted, it was busy, so I understand, but in the past I would have to wait a long time to be helped, to receive my food, and to get my server's attention. However, the food is really great so it kind of makes up for the service.
(4)Caleb M.
I love coming here. I am usually undecided between a curry dish, pad thai or clear noodles. But today I went with some of the sushi selections and a spicy beef salad which was very filling. Service is good and I recommend this spot.
(5)Alex H.
Sushi is good, but despite having Thai written before sushi, the thai wasn't as good. It was too salty. Get their sushi. The place is usually busy when I go. I recommend ordering ahead of time.
(4)Kathy M.
Been going there for years, great staff, fresh sushi, delicious Thai, never had a bad meal.
(4)Jessica C.
I've been coming here since my high school days, they basically know my face! I love their rolls, my absolute fave is the Pascale roll! And recently I got the tuna rock appetizer and it's great! If you want soup, go and grab a tom yum gai! The staff is friendly and sweet. :) I say come here if you want a good vibe with friends or a quiet solo date. I can't wait to come back and try the other foods in their menus. I've tried their chicken katsu, their pad Thai, and their sweet and sour duck. Most, if not all, of their big items are on the pricey side, but their servings are large in proportion, and good for 2-3 people to share. If you're in the Miramar area, this is a great place to go for lunch and dinner.
(4)Joseph N.
I've eaten at a few sushi and Thai restaurants and this place definitely holds its own against them. The price is a little bit higher than most places but they make up for it for quantity and quality. What holds me back from giving them a higher rating is the cleanliness of the restaurant.
(3)Paola B.
Great sushi Always fresh and deliciuos Lunch specials rock Prder obline to pick up get% off
(5)Janine A.
I got food poisoning 2 times from them. The first time was with the crab wontons I was in the hospital for 3days. I called them to talk about it and they told me it wasn't their fault Even though I had a busy day and ate there at lunch time. It happened to be my first meal for the days and it was my last because I was in the hospital a few hours later. The second time I had the seafood soup with coconut milk Apparently the seafood had gone bad n they served it anyway and I got food poisoning again. But the thing is I could understand but when I called them they told me that I have no proof and they were so rude. I know a bad apple should not spoil the bunch so a few months later I order the dragon roll because I was pregnant and craving sushi I told the lady that the shrimp has to be cooked completely because I'm having a baby. I ordered pick up and it was a pretty cold day when my husband brought it for me the shrimp was not cooked completely it was raw in some places so I called them to ask them if they can make a new one n I'll send it in to show them the lady was pretty rude and told me that I was lying and I can't bring it in. Since then I have never gone back TRY OSAKA RIGHT BY CVS they are way better with much better service
(1)Nabila P.
Fantastic menu! The clear noodle dish was insane! We have had numerous dishes there and always delicious. The cheesecake is also amazing. There delivery is really fast and sushi still fresh despite delivery waiting time.
(5)W. F.
Ordered "delivery" to my house. My order was wrong and then they asked me to "pick up" the correct one. Huh? I paid for and wanted delivery, why would I then have to pick up my food when it was their mistake. When I protested, the lady just hung up on me. Horrible food and horrible customer service! First time in my life I ever had to call my credit card company and dispute a meal that I had delivered. Thankfully, I didn't pay in cash!
(1)Syn T.
The food was good but the service was horrible. The waitresses kept harassing us about the tip and even followed us out the door telling us that we had to tip. If it wasn't for the bad service, I would of gone back because the food was good.
(2)Jen G.
Second or third time I've been here... the food is good bit the service sucks! Won't be going back!
(2)Leanna J.
If I could give this place 100 stars, I definitely would! I've only been here 3 times but each time has been incredible. On my most recent visit I had the "lobster roll." I was a little skeptical at first because it was one of the more expensive items on the menu, at a price of $18. I was pretty sure I would find it mediocre but WOW was I pleasantly surprised. It was absolutely gorgeous. The flavors were amazing and the presentation was equally as incredible. All three times that I've been here the sushi has been super fresh and the wait times are reasonable, especially since this place can get packed. The prices are competitive as well which is rare for sushi this delish. This is definitely my new sushi spot and I recommend it to everyone!
(5)Michael B.
First visit here. I ordered the B-5 lunch special. the Pad thai was OK. the sushi was good the rice was sweet and fish was good generous . The California roll was OK . I also ordered the Tom Ka Gai it was good ,very fresh. see my pics
(3)Bee P.
The place is clean, service is good and the food is delicious. I recommend this place to those who are interested to try Thai food.
(4)Katrina G.
I ordered food to be delivered to my house and after waiting two hours and after I made two phone calls in which I was told the food was on its way I decided to drive to the restaurant. I had to go on their computer to show them my order, after they realized they never even prepared it the three employees started laughing, apparently it was funny to them. They offered to make it for me for a discounted price. But after waiting two hours and was lied to....TWICE and then laughed at I decided not to give a penny to this restaurant today or ever again for that matter.
(1)Mark E.
Great sushi. Great price. Good atmosphere and some of the nicest service I've gotten anywhere. Soups were hot, sushi was room temp *I prefer it a bit colder* But overall everything was great. This had to have been my 4-5th time here and this time I went with my whole family *4 of us.* Two appetizers, sake, 4 rolls, two lunch specials, and dessert.... all for $100. You really can't complain when portions are so generous and this aggressively priced. We left very full, but not bloated or "heavy" and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. I really enjoy Silver Spoon and plan on making a more conscious effort to eat here.
(5)Todd G.
Incredible Thai and Japanese always busy for dinner so come early food is super fresh and made to order!
(5)Melli B.
Tried the Mango Tango finally!!! It was good and visually appealing too!!! I went on a weekday with my daughter. I was in the mood for sushi, like always and wanted to give this place another shot. I think they are a bit pricey. My two year old had fried rice and I had two rolls and a miso soup and my total was about $37. The fried rice was sticky and looked like something I could have made and I'm no chef. I don't eat chicken so I didn't taste it but my daughter kept pushing her plate away so I don't think she was a fan. My rolls were...good, not great. I don't think I'll be coming back here. Not that the food was that bad but it wasn't memorable either and for that price, I need memorable...HELL for that price, I would have liked to eat at least one thing that wowed me. I want to crave the food when I'm not there. I haven't gotten that yet after dining here. It's simply edible food and nothing more.
(3)Ray M.
Tried to call several times for take out and the number on their website and yelp goes to a mobile voicemail box that is full.
(1)Jessy S.
I have to start by saying that I love this place. I have tried Sushi all over and this is one of my favorite places. I like the Tuna Rock. If you like Tuna you will love this. I also enjoy their basil dishes, which you can get it with chicken, shrimp ect. It is excellent. If you enjoy duck, they also prepare a very good one. The place is small and cozy and the service is very good. The Mango Tango is good. The price is right and the food is delicious...Enjoy!
(4)Florinda G.
I won't say this is my favorite sushi spot EVER but it's pretty damn close. I would definitely recommend the Pink Panther Roll, Banana Rama Roll, Special Pad Thai, and Thai Donuts! Soooooo delicious. During the afternoon the parking around this spot can get a little hectic (especially on the weekends)
(5)Phil B.
Consistently great, did and service. For lunch till 3 pm that have specials that come work soup or salad and choice of white or Brown rice for $9.00 that us a great deal
(5)Natasha P.
Excellent place, nice people good food, the place is nice and clean, their Silver spoon salad is my favorite, I recommend it, you can not miss it. The servers are very friendly and they always are smiling. It is a good place with Thai and Japanese food.
(5)Michelle R.
My new favorite restaurant. Everything is fresh and delicious!! It's small so it's hard to get in during peak hours but do worth the wait. I've done take out add well and it was all good!
(5)Mike B.
I always come here with my wife. Since we moved it's far for us to com here. But if we are close by we always stop for some sushi and vegie soup. The stuff is friendly and the prices reasonable. Love that place
(5)Sameer C.
Ordered delivery. One hour later we called they said it was on its way. After almost two hours, it still didn't arrive. When we called and spoke to the manager not only was he not apoplectic, he didn't even care. We'll never order from them again!
(1)Monica T.
Food came out pretty fast, pad thai was good, I like the texture of the thinner noodles they use. I think I prefer it a bit more saucy tho. Also got the crunchy spicy tuna roll. It was pretty yummy but I wish it was more spicy for my taste. Overall I would come back to try other items.
(4)Amabel D.
I've been to this restaurant one time before, but after today, I was so happy with my food that I just felt so compelled to write a review. This restaurant is sorta small, so all the tables are close to each other, so you don't really have any privacy when its comes to the conversation. Besides that the service is good, and the waitresses are very nice. I think the best part about the restaurant is their lunch special. Today I got the J-3 Roll combo which came with one Cali roll, one tuna roll, and one salmon roll. All together it was 20 rolls for about $10 which is an awesome deal and a lot cheaper than other places! My boyfriend ordered the B-1 from the Special Lunch Combo which came with 6 pieces of sashimi, 3 pieces of sushi, half a Cali roll and tempura veggies for $13. Such a steal with the amount of food they give! Without a doubt I recommend coming here for lunch. Good prices, good tasting food, overall I was very pleased!
(5)Angela R.
My husband and I have quickly become regulars at this place. We moved from Sunny Isles where we were regulars at a Chinese restaurant but this place has become a pleasant replacement. Their special fried rice is one of our favorites. I love the chicken coconut soup here. It tastes great! My kids love the vegetable wonton soup. The ceviche is very good too. Sashimi is great. LOVE the jasmine tea. And the Thai Donuts are awesome. The service is always great. They even ask about our kids when we go in without them! We will be coming here on a regular basis!
(5)Celine C.
I really like this Thai/Japanese restaurant. They do have real Thai people working there. Their food has been very consistent in the taste. I love the fact that they give you shrimp crackers to munch on while waiting. There are also 2 TVs in the restaurant that keep you occupied. I didn't have any problem with food and/or service. They seem to be very helpful and friendly. I would definitely go back.
(4)Arly J.
Ordered take out and online. Was easy and fast. Food was actually hot when it arrived and packed perfectly. Loved the dragon roll and krab ran goons. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and it was good. Shrimp Pad thai was average. Great to find a place that actually delivers and is on time!
(4)D S.
The food was ok but nothing spectacular. Not the freshest sushi by far compared to other sushi restaurants in the Pembroke Pines area. The biggest downfall to this visit is the waitress. When I asked for refills on my drink, she thought I wanted the check and since they had it prepared already on the side, she quickly slammed the check back down on the countertop and just walked away without saying another word to us. She never came back to refill our drinks but instead went to their computer screen and was doing something else. Luckily another waiter came by to refill our drinks instead. In addition, this place is pretty small in space so some of the tables are pretty close to one another and I like my personal space. The guy in next table over couldn't stop coughing the whole time he was there. Yuck!!! Try Osaka in the next plaza over. Far better service and better spacing of their tables. Even food quality is better than this place too!
(2)Bao N.
Ok this is my new favorite Thai Place! Being that I'm Viet I can never get enough of ethnic food and since there are virtually no Viet places to eat I opt often for Thai or Indian. When I go out I usually order seafood since I don't eat meat. Since this place is a mix of sushi and thai there was really good selection of yummy thngs. The place is pretty small but on a late Friday evening it was farily still busy. I was checking out the decor in the place and liked all the little details. Our waitress was pleasant and recommend some appetizers that turned out pretty good. We then ordered a combo of dishes that included sushi and noodles. I'm a fan of the think noodles - not pad thai like everyone seems to like but the pad ew sew. We got this in a seafood mixture. It was pretty good. We also got a sushi roll which off the top of my head I can't remember. Overall, I liked my Friday dining experience and would go back to try some different dishes. Everyone was friendly and the location is close to me so all in all a great thai place that I'd check out again.
(4)Vishal P.
This place is a small little gem. Great happy hour specials! Their special rolls are amazing. My favorite is the dynamite oysters. They may not be on the menu but if they are you should really get as many as you can. They are truly amazing!
(4)Monica M.
I am a regular at Silver Spoon. Too regular if you ask me. They sushi is the freshest and pretty unique for west Miramar. Never ordered drinks here besides the cold house saki which was pretty good. They're very warm and welcoming here and always find seating!
(5)Robert B.
The food was above average, and the service was sub-par. At 7pm on a Friday night, I placed a take-out order for a 7:45pm pick-up. When I arrived at 7:40, the take-out server said my order would be right out. Wrong. The food didn't come out until 8:15, & when it did, not all of the food was there. Good thing I checked the bag before leaving. When I went to pay, I asked if they would knock off 10% for the long delay and wrong order. The cashier said, "We are busy tonight, & we don't offer discounts." The $3 off would have been a nice gesture. Thanks, Silver Spoon.
(2)Felicia R.
Great sushi, wonderful staff. Great spot for any day of the week.
(4)Cuban P.
Finally found an awesome sushi place in west broward. Rolls were fresh, creative and well priced!
(5)Amado C.
Great place and always consistent.
(4)michelle l.
We love eating here. I prefer to eat here for lunch as I get the Volcano Chicken for lunch for about $5.95. It is a bit more during dinner but double the order. My husband loves the Sushi here and it always is fresh. The service is almost always great. I usually always have the same two ladies. There was a new lady that didnt do as good but I believe it is a family so the other ladies are happy to help you if you just call them over. I figured the night I went the server was new. We often get to go and the kids LOVE the chicken Teriyaki. It is yummy. This is a great spot to come in for a quiet lunch or dinner and the Thai donuts are yummy!
(5)Christine P.
Silver Spoon is one of my go-to sushi places around work. The kind of place you don't have to think twice about visiting, because you know it's always going to be good. Consistently good food and service. They also don't take a long time, which is important when you're on a schedule. Can't go wrong with the gyoza... the clear noodles... the pad thai... any of the sushi rolls. Only thing I wish I could change is how close some of the tables are to one another. No one likes to go on a double-date with strangers... altho it can be funny when they're obviously on a first date after meeting online. (hehe)
(4)Nichole M.
Really yummy. The best thai that I've found in the Miramar area! Sushi is good too. I've never been to the actual restaurant but order delivery about twice a month and this place never disappoints. Although delivery can take a bit long, the food always comes hot. Some of my favs off the thai menu have to be the spicy beef salad, wonton soup, red curry, ginger sauce, and the pad thai is pretty good although a bit dry for my taste. Favs from the sushi menu are the tuna rock appetizer (a must), and pretty much all of the medium and large rolls are good. Obviously it depends and what fish/seafood you like, I like everything and have tried pretty much the entire sushi menu with no complaints.
(4)Fareeda R.
The Pink Panther and the Banana Rama Roll are just sinfully delicious. My husband loves the Sweet and Sour Chicken. If my metabolism was high enough to the point of ridiculousness and I wasn't such a fitness buff, I would exist just off their Thai iced tea and doughnuts. The price can be a bit much of you're hungry and want three courses, but if you have some treat money, go for it.
(4)Miriam R.
I have eaten at a lot of sushi and thai places and I have to say that this place, which happens to be in my neighborhood luckily, is the best ! There is nothing bad on the menu. It has been excellent every time I come in or have it delivered. I really dont like getting sushi delivered anymore from any restaurant just because it sits in the car so long. The service is excellent and the restaurant is beautiful too!
(5)Jenny Q. V.
I really enjoy the food here. The food and service are great. This is my favorite Sushi and thai place in Miramar/Pembroke Pines Area
(4)Ali B.
This is a great place that's close to home with GOOD tofu dishes. My favorite is the cashew nut tofu with brown rice, there is something about the sauce or maybe the combination of the veggies that go together very well. And I think they add the cashew at the very end bc it has a nice bite to it when I am eating it with the rest of the food. Sometimes I'm not very hungry and I just get a miso soup or two, I like the seaweed they add, I know it's not nori but I'd like to know what type it is so that I can add it to my miso soup I make at home.
(5)heather h.
Having only eaten here once, I don't know a lot about many of the dishes on the menu. Service was friendly and efficient, and they put some fried puffs of something (like cheese puffs in texture, but sans the cheesy flavor) as a freebie appetizer. The menu is extensive to the point of overwhelming - everything from sushi to Thai and small to large entrees. Thought it was a bit pricey for some entrees and the sushi (especially compared to a place nearby), but enjoyed the Thai basil chicken and hot green tea. Verdict? I won't rush back (I'm not into eating Thai often), but will stop by when I want a Thai fix close to home.
(3)Star V.
We often frequented this restaurant to get our sushi fix. We've been going here since they first opened in this location and know the owners. Their food is good. Not a wide selection in the sushi department and Thai menu is missing some dishes we prefer. But we once mentioned this to Tony (the owner) and he asked his cook to make it for us. With that, we were impressed and ever since then they have gone out of their way to make sure every visit is comfortable and enjoyable. It does tend to get busy. I don't recommend bringing young children during the busy hours but they do have highchairs. Haven't been there for a year since we moved out of Florida but I'm sure they are doing well. They also have a website where you can place orders for pick up or they will deliver up to a 10 mi radius.
(4)Robert D.
Great Pad Thai!!!!

I came here before heading to watch a movie with my daughter, who loves sushi, and baught a few rolls. Needles to say, it was a nice ambiance and the fish tasted fresh, which is a good thing. She seemed to enjoy the 4 rolls we ordered on a whim and shared together. I will definitely revist the place for more experimentaion with the food.

Great Food! The sushi is good, but the food is phenomenal! I would suggest getting their Curry Duck, amazing. It is served with pineapples and a creamy curry sauce. Their medium is kinda weak, so next time when I go I'm definitely getting Hot or Thai Hot! Small and quaint, if you are going with a large party you want to definitely call ahead or you might be waiting for awhile. All around good restaurant! Great find!

I've tried this place a few times. I really wanted to like it but I feel disappointed after every meal. They have the worst pad Thai I've ever experienced and the sushi is sub par. The spider roll was horribly over cooked and the California tuna roll might as well have been from Publix. I won't be wasting my money here again.

I've only had the sushi here, so my review is based solely on that. Having lived in Japan, I feel that I know good sushi. This place has really great deals on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You can get two pieces (it used to be three) of a roll for $1, which is great because you can sample a little bit of everything from their $1 menu. The bad part is, the $1 menu has a limited selection. Also, I have a problem with places that charge for a side of sauce. How are you going to charge someone an extra $.50 for eel sauce when it's probably worth $.02 and it's only a dollop? Other than that, the sushi is great for suburbia and the service was decent. I'd give it a 3 1/2 stars.

Really good stuff! The veggie tempura and spider roll were both great, can't wait to go back and try some more.

Excellent Sushi, great for the price! It's a small place so expect to wait a bit if its bz.

In the suburban nightmare of west Miramar, we have few restaurant options. Thank goodness a decent sushi place is in our midst. We order takeout from this restaurant every weekend and we have never been disappointed. The sushi is always very fresh, the JB roll is yummy, they have alternative California rolls (tuna or salmon instead of mock crab), and if you are keeping away from carbs you'll love the Three Sisters roll. They also have really good green tea ice cream and usually have uni (which my fellow uni lovers know is often missing from menus in South Florida) . And the 10% online order discount rocks.

My family loves this place. It has a little something for each of us. My huband loves the sushi. My kids love the gyoza and pad thai. I love the Thai food and the tempura. We've eaten there a lot since we moved to the area and the food has been consistently excellent. The wait staff is really nice and service is quick. Definetly one of our favorite places to go as a family.

I've been to Silver Spoon several times with my girlfriend and everytime it has been pleasant. This place has everything you could want from a restaurant such as good food, prices, service, and atmosphere. If you are looking for a casual place to have dinner at I highly recommend Silver Spoon! I cant remember the name of my fav dish, but it's like a roll that has chicken with asparagus. Dip the roll in some teriyaki sauce and it's even better! Hope you like this place as much as I do :-)

I went here the other day with my mom and on Tuesday's and Wednesday's they have a special, you get 3 pieces of a limited choice of rolls for just $1.00, we got about 30 pieces of the JB roll for $10.00 and the sushi although not my favorite place for it, that deal and the quality isn't bad at all. They have a selection of many things. I also ordered the Pad Thai, it was delicious. I would recommend this to anyone who loves Thai food and whoever wants to fill in those cravings for sushi, not bad either. FYI- The place is tiny, but it's cozy in that sense and during the week it's not bad, if you live in the area you can also order take out, if you don't like a place to be so small. I recommend this place!!! I forgot to add if you love Thai donuts, they are delicious here. They are bigger than usual and super fresh!

I was very impressed with this small restaurant in the middle of the otherwise boring suburban area. The staff is very friendly, the food is good, the menu selection is adequately diverse, and the prices are reasonable. I gave it 4 stars, because it could have nicer aesthetics, but in no way would that stop me from revisiting. Very good place.

I've only been to two Thai restaurants (this one and one in Plantation) but I'm in love with this place! The waiters are friendly and helpful. Their lunch special has a lot of different choices but I always go with lunch shrimp garlic sauce lunch special. So much flavor and they give you plenty of shrimp and enough food for a big lunch! It comes with miso soup, which was very tasty and fresh! A friend of mine loves their sushi, especially their Alaskan roll.

The quality of their food fluctuates. The sushi is pretty good but they really pack on the rice. Their pad Thai is awful. I ordered shrimp pad Thai with veggies and the 8 veggies that were added were soft and mushy and some of the shrimp had a funky flavor. Overall the dish very disappointing and lacking in the flavor department. I'll stick to the sushi from now on, which is rather pricey by the way.

I have been coming here for years and finally decided to write a review. I usually dine in and the experiences have been great! If you order online for takeout you get 10% off! Always seated immediately and taken care of. I think the sushi is just okay (the only reason for 4/5 stars). The Thai food on the other hand is fantastic!.... Thai iced tea is great (I always ask for a little less cream). For appetizer, give the Kawahagi (fish jerky) a try. It's a nice and different treat than the usual edamame ap! Their Silver Spoon salad is another amazing appetizer of assorted fish, seaweed salad and dressing. Papaya salad is another must every time I go too! The pad thai is great, but I have to admit over the years it is not as consistent as the rest, but still good! My favorite by far is the Massaman curry! It's a MUST TRY!!!! It's sweet and delicious (I'm not a spicy fan so I get it very mild)! My only complaint in regards to the curry is that the potatoes could use more cooking. The potatoes sometimes come out a bit too hard for my liking. The basil is another dish that is amazing! For dessert, you cannot go wrong with thai donuts! Although, I'm convinced its just Pilsbury biscuits that are cut in disguise, they are still amazing!!! LoL Silver Spoon is a great spot for food! They definitely have quality food! I will keep coming back as long as the quality stays the same!

Saw the review on this Yelp and since I was in the area with no idea for places to go eat, I decided to try it. Hmmmmm.... Why was this place rated so high??? The restaurant is small place within a shopping complex and did not really have a great Sushi as others praised. The decor was good, the food was okay, and the service was good. Nothing to go out of your way to try, but it is not too bad. I had Sushi, Sashimi, Spicy Tuna Roll and Tempura combo. Sushi and Sashimi was good, but not great. Spicy Tuna Roll was not that spicy, and Tempura has too much batter with them. Still good enough for 3 stars... Bit pricey... I paid $35 for my meal for myself. Well, I will go back if I am in the area, but would not make a special trip for it.

My husband loves Thai food and we went there for dinner and ordered red curry for him and green curry for me. I have been to a lot of thai restaurants but to this I would not go again. We ordered medium hot( since it was our first time there and didn't know how hot is their hot) and it wasn't hot at all, too much coconut in the curry that it tasted sweet. To make it worse we both started feeling nauseous after the dinner which we didn't think anything of. But my husband ate the leftover curry for lunch(he didn't dislike the food as much as I did) and again he started feeling nauseous and had a headache. Needless to say I would not go there again or recommend it to anyone.

This is a great spot near my office. I get delivery probably once a week and I'm rarely disappointed. The people who work there are always kind and willing to accommodate any changes or additions you need to your order. Their online ordering is easy and makes the delivery process a breeze. I've eaten on site too and the service is just as great. Did I mention that the Sushi is just as good as the Thai? Usually a restaurant is good at one or the other, but they do a wonderful job with both. The Pink Panther roll is amazing! Also, their lunch specials are a great deal and everything that I have tried (Tofu with Broccoli and Oyster Sauce is a favorite) was wonderful! If you are way out in Miramar and in the mood for Sushi or Thai, this is a must visit!

This is a favorite spot for us. Either dine in or delivery. Great sushi and great service. Place is small and quaint with indoor and outdoor dining

Today was the first time I ate Sushi that I really liked. I'm not much of a fish lover so I have been skeptical to try. Food was awesome, service great and prices were good. I took a risk on taking my wife there on Valentine's day, but everything worked out great.

Had dinner with a couple of friends there and the food delicious but we found hair in the sushi plate and a noddle dish.

Mmmmmm, great Thai food has arrived in Miramar! We have been to the Silver Spoon a few times and so far, everything has been great. This is a casual restaurant, but it has a modern, trendy look to it. The food is very good, though not extraordinary. Portions are average to slightly less than average (salads are too small for the price.) Prices are slightly on the high side. Service is excellent. Oh, and did I mention that they deliver?? And if you order through their website, you get a 10% discount. :-)
