Food is delicious only reason why I even come back. The people that work there have hate for lunch and don't know what it's like to be kind to one person. They put food in bags upside down and everything opens by the time you get home so you always have to pull over and make sure you organize your food your self because they obviously were not talk to

I avoid fast food like the clap (well maybe not as much : )) but decided to try this for lunch and found it very reasonably priced, very clean, very prompt and the chicken was quite good. Beans and rice so so but how much can you do with beans and rice? Salsa bar okay. While certainly not a mainstay in my diet, I certainly would come back.

Terrible bought a family meal from here two weeks ago, and this past Sunday my stomach is now back to normal. I got so sick after eating the chicken, black beans, and rice from here. This location to be exact, because the location on 441 I've not gotten sick like this. My stomach was sore, and hurt, so bad. Not to mention the bread was hard, and stale. I didn't want to even give it a star, just a review.

So I'm not a fan of the chain however a friend was visiting and we stopped by the drive-thru to grab her something to eat. It was raining so it only made sense to go thru the drive thru. Problem#1: as noted by other yelpers, they take foreverrrrrrrr so the drive thru line was quite long for quite the while! Problem #2: I drive up to the ordering thingy and there's no cover, so my window is down and the rain is just pouring in as I get soaked. What makes this worse is that the pollo employee asks me to hold one moment please....one moment turns into several minutes while the rain is just pouring in...so I pulled out my umbrella and held it out of my driver window until the pollo employee was ready to take the order. Problem #3: We drive up to the window to pick up the half chicken ordered and drive off...only to realize there are no napkins and/or utensils which means I had to reverse the car back to the drive thru to ask! To make matters worse, the pollo bag is dirty- full of BBQ sauce which did not belong to our plain half chicken. So in summary, looong wait, no coverage from the rain in drive thru, no customer service, no napkins, no utensils and dirty bags....ummm....no thank you!

The drive thru at this location takes forever. Their chop chops are super small and they don't fill them up. Getting to work started eating my food and realize I asked for tomatoes not corn I'm allergic to thanks for getting the order wrong!!!!!

Sighhhhhhh! Short and sweet... Pollo Tropical has the menu and the food to become one of the best fast food restaurants however due to its employees that will never happen! There are times where chicken is not available which is crazy as the name of the business begins with POLLO. Many times my to go orders are messed up and many other times the chicken provided is not fresh and is very stale. I will say... If you come during lunch time when the line is crazy long both inside and drive thru you will be more likely to obtain fresh food which will make you say "damn that's good"! My recommendation here is there whole of half chicken with a side of white rice and black beans!
No napkins, no eating utensils, none of the sauces I asked for & they took forever ! I'll go to the one on Pines before I visit this one againn!!

What a waste of time and money... I decided to a quick stop and have a Cesar chicken Salad here. And guess What? The cheese , the chicken and Cesar did not show up. Only lettuce and the cruttons. I just wish not even give this location a star and I will keep my fingers crossed this is not the standard for the Chain because I am not coming back here anymore.

This location is just ok. Same great stuff on the menu but not the same quality as other locations. Food wasn't as fresh as you'd hope and the staff had a really hard time speaking English. Questions about menu items and trying to order my sides was a chore!

The service is slow but the food is usually good. Avoid the pork and plantains. The cilantro garlic sauce is what keeps me coming back. It's great on everything!

My Husband eats here all the time since they opened. We try to support local businesses. Unfortunately after trying to return a dried out family chicken meal he was called a "bitch!" And told "you got me fucked up!" By the cashier. The managers stood by and snickered as he was verbally abused. I wrote an email & called corporate. They've never contacted me. I guess they don't care about their customers. We won't be eating at Pollo Tropical again. And businesses wonder why they go bankrupt.

None are better and thankfully none are worst than the other. I usually get a boneless chicken breast, tender and still juicy with black beans, corn and plantains. I could care less for the dinner rolls they're usually to hard possibly old, but the sides are mhm mhm good. Plantains are always crispy on the sides but not burnt and thankfully not too greasy, corn is sweet so I always get a large order, I would like more beans though. Thankfully my girlfriend loves the juices so she takes that. It's about as healthy as you can get at fast food so I come here quite often :) come on in and I hope you enjoy thanks.

This is actually the best of the Pollo Tropical locations I've been to in the South Broward area. The store is clean and the staff are friendly and you get your order fairly quickly. You get a good amount of food for a great price. My only issue is that if you order anything not exactly as it appears on the menu (i.e. ingredient on the side) and there is no button on the register for that, it sends them into a tailspin where the cashier has to call someone else and you may or may not get the item as ordered or something else will be wrong. Not tragic enough to make me stop going here, but annoying so make sure you check your takeout order before you leave.

Pollo Tropical used to be one of my favorite fast food place but they have gone down in the dumps over the years. Last week, my hubby wanted food from this location so we ordered take out. After we arrived home, I opened my Chicken Caesar salad and started eating. The chicken was extremely dry, resembling sawdust. As I made my way thru the salad, I found a huge horse-fly dead at the bottom!!. I took the salad back to show them the fly and all the lady did was take it from me and throw it in the trash behind the counter. She didn't say a word. No apologies, no "Is there anything else I can get for you?" She simply looked at the fly, cringed, grabbed the container and dropped it in the trash and proceeded to help the next person. Wow!!
