If your are looking for a custom salad with a large range of fresh ingredients to choose from this is the place. All the dressings are from scratch a well. Nice alternative to a heavy lunch. They have nice Zen music on to relax and eat. Order from the counter and then sit down in dining area, no waiter service.

Door is locked at 7:30 and clearly states it stays open until 8pm. Second time this has happened.

I went onThursday August 7th 5pm . First of all lady had terrible attitude and forgot to ask me if I wanted any protein in my salad .... After I had paid was when I remembered that I didn't put chicken and I asked her to charge it separately and add it ... Literally got 2 tiny pieces of chicken in my salad I had to dig through my salad for them . She looked annoyed at the fact that I asked for chicken. The place was empty therefore you should give your only customer awesome service . No excuses .

I will not go back. I was drawn in by the local business and close to where I live, the poor customer service is what will not be bringing me back.

Cute little salad place hidden within a strip mall with Kohl's. They have about 15 different variety of salads. You can even create your own salad also. Sizes comes in small, medium, and large. On the side display they also serve canollis (other desserts) and curry turkey. There are a great selection of drinks. However, the RAW drinks aren't that great. No matter which ones I try and how "good" they claim to be. Not the cheapest place but not overpriced either.

Do not expect assistance with food allergies. They don't seem to get the concept. You say no milk products, they offer you cheese. If you speak spanish, you may get better results. I was shocked when I visited this place that I could not speak English to the workers, they did not understand and b/c of it, they were extremely rude to me. I have a dairy allergy and needed to know what dressings (and if any croutons) were dairy free. I was so disappointed that something as simple as ordering an overpriced salad was so complicated. I did not know what toppings they had available, and I chose the "my way" salad, figuring out what toppings were available was like a guessing game. I left with mixed greens, a HOPEFULLY dairy free vinaigrette dressing (but who really knows, they certainly didn't) and chicken. To be honest, I don't even feel safe eating this because there could be cross contamination, there could be butter or butter products mixed in. It can be dangerous to eat something when you have a food allergy and the person who prepares your food has no clue what allergens are in it. Dairy allergens are especially complicated b/c you just never know for sure. Any other restaurant would at least be able to say "this has no dairy" or hand an allergen menu to me. This place chose to treat me like I was an inconvenience, stupid, and a problem. I will never set foot in this place again and I should have told them to shove it, and walked out and spent my money where a person can speak to me and be kind to me. I didn't choose this allergy, it's a newer allergy to me, and I'm trying to learn to deal with it as best as I can. I still deserve respect and I don't deserve to be treated so rudely over a simply ingredient question.

Salads are great. Large variety of choices. Seating its limited and at lunch time its a little busy. its always fully staffed, but only some are friendly and really pay attention to your order. I have ordered the panzanella, baja, greek, and a few others... they all have been very good and fresh. And their daily soups are equally as delicious.

What a great lunch find! Giardino is the place to go for a big salad. Their selection is really large and if you are picky or have a taste for something in particular, you can make your own salad as well. I had the Greek Village (lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, red onion, feta, oil & vinegar) with a scoop of chicken. The highlights of the salad were the feta (very fresh and loads of it) and the dressing (light, tangy, not overpowering), and the pita chips on top (seasoned and crunchy). Probably not the healthiest salad ever, but it was damn good. Not the cheapest place around, but if you are looking for a salad option, this place beats the pants off of Panera and Corner Bakery.

Good salads. Clean and polite service.

Grabbed lunch at this place just last week. I love that they make their own croutons and their plethora of salad dressings. I created my own salad with the champagne vinaigrette and it was delicious. I definitely will be trying again! Yum and healthy.

We have been coming here for several years without complaint. However, lately, the quality has gone through the floor. They have gotten busier and so she has hired several new people, but apparently they do not gt trained -- the last 2 times I have been there, my salad (standard off the menu) was wrong (missing chicken on one and extra chicken on another). $8 for a bowl of lettuce with very little toppings is not a great deal. My advice, don't go during peak times, and watch them closely as they make your salad, correcting them as they go. The ingredients were always fresh, and when they make the salad correctly, it is great.

I have a salad, maybe a soup and sandwich, at least once/week here and have yet to be disappointed. salads can be tailored as you wish - light on the dressing, heavy on the cranberries, whatever. Given the made-to-order process and the rapid pace, I can see how newbies may be confused and end up with something that they did not want but pay attention and you will be fine. Sure $8 is not a great deal for a salad, but try to go elsewhere to get a tailored salad, completely fresh, in less than 5 minutes. Considering that, I'll pay the $8. Or I may opt for an equally fresh and healthy soup and sandwich for $5.

I used to work in the same plaza that this restaurant is located in, so I was a regular here. They have a nice selection of salads that you can choose from or you can create your own. My favorite salads here are the Fizz salad and the Country Cobb. Also, take a look at their Zuppa (soup) of the day. They're usually very good. Also, I like the sit down area. Its nice but with a low key feel.

Recently re-discovered this place and have been stopping in for dinner. They close at 8p - so when we get there just after 7p it's usually pretty quiet. Ordered the Country Cobb today and replaced the radishes with avocado, and the croutons with pita chips. Got the medium size and it was more than enough (need to cut back to the small one again). Everything is fresh, tasty and you just feel better about yourself after having eaten a salad. If you ask for a cup of water, they'll kindly serve it to you. Now I just need to work on varying what I order. My one comment unrelated to the food - is about the music. Today we heard instrumental Disney songs... as in The Little Mermaid. Totally amusing.

Giardino's is great! There's plenty of choices to make your perfect salad! Seating kinda sucks and lunch is usually busy so get there early. Staff is nice for the most part but you know everywhere has their bad apples! I usually get the baja salad soooo good! Guilt free! I heard their soups are really good too!

I went to this place and was not impressed at all! I ordered the Nicoise salad and as a fan of this salad I was expecting the crispy lettuce, the greens and the delicious raw tuna (REAL TUNA)...instead, I got a bowl full of cheap lettuce (mostly the white part), no greens whatsoever and CAN TUNA! I the salad was overpriced for what I got, I was pretty much insulted by this...in conclusion for this price and even lower, you can get a better salad elsewhere.

cute place, food was great, lots of veggie options as well as organic.

The salads here are just ok. If you use a CC they will ask if you want a receipt. If you don't get a receipt they will add gratuity onto your bill without your approval. This happened several times to me at the location on 57th and 7th. I will not be going back.

Let me preface this review by saying that I eat from this restaurant about once a week as their salads are great! However I DO NOT recommend eating here unless you are coming and placing your order in person to either eat in or take it to go. That way you can be sure that your order is filled correctly. They have offered delivery service for awhile, but it has gotten so bad that it is not worth the convenience. No matter what you order for delivery, something will be missing or incorrect every time. Last week, I was told 50 minutes for delivery. After 2 hours, the order arrived and was missing half of the things in it. It stings a bit when you pay almost $30 for a salad, a wrap and 2 soups, and they show up 1 hour late and are not what you ordered. I hate to give this place 3 stars as the food is great (if expensive), but their delivery service is AWFUL!

My husband and I wanted to have a light lunch before going rock climbing so we came here. I did the create-your-own salad and he ordered the Caesar salad off the menu. Both of our salads were huge, and we love big portions. We were both very happy with our salads, the were very tasty and fresh. I've come here before on my own and ordered the Vegan salad and almost gagged. I guess the trick to these places is to really know how to put your own creation together or stick to a creation (like the Caesar) that you know works consistently. I'm noticing their prices are increasing but what can you do? The best value is getting the protein that isn't plain, like the curry turkey, tropical chicken, etc and asking for dressing on the side. That was you can bring some dressing home and the pre-made protein salads are sooo delicious you don't want to add any more dressing. Great filling lunch too, my husband and I were full til 8pm and ate here at 1:45pm.

My favorite salad place!! I love the variety of options!! This is my place for lunch, they also have bowls or you can make your salad a wrap.

After moving away for three years I just returned to South Florida. I was so excited to return to my favorite gourmet salad place and drove across town to get there on a Saturday arrived at 4:30 only to find out that they closed at four when all of their online listing say that they close at five. I used to know the owner and I know that she would not appreciate the fact that her staff is standing inside ignoring a customer who simply just wanted to make sure that they were aware of their online postings with a different close time. They have definitely lost me as a customer and my referrals. Who cares what food taste like when the people are rude.

Awesome salads but the service is horrible. I don't come here all the time so I didn't know what to order and when I asked the person that worked there questions on the food, she had a horrible attitude and responded rudely. If I ever go there again, I'm going to order in advance on the phone and going in to just pick it up.

For being a gourmet salad place, this place left me wanting so much more. I don't know if it's just the location or if all are like this but I was so disappointed. First off, the service wasn't very good the girls behind the counter looked like they had no interest in being at work. Also for some odd reason no one spoke English, they seemed very annoyed that we didn't want to speak Spanish. Not every customer is Latin and speaks the language but it was no reason to be rude to us. While the portions were generous, the price wasn't too great. Two salads cost us 16 dollars and not to mention they had no flavor. I ordered La Fiesta and was hoping to have a lot of flavor in the dressing and maybe a seasoned chicken but nope. The dressing had TOO much of a kick and the chicken was bland. Also the veggies except the tomatoes and onions were from a can. The corn was cold and didn't taste right and beans lacked all kinds of flavor. If you're going to be a "Fresh and Raw" gourmet salad place then use ingredients that reflect that because this was poor execution. While the food is healthy it doesn't need to taste like nothing, it can be seasoned and flavored especially in a southwest themed salad. I won't be giving them a second try because I was just so disappointed and they really overcharged for bland food I could make at home for less. Two stars because at least the girl who charged us was very nice, the rest of the girls behind the counter could use a lesson in that. Other than that this place left me horribly disappointed and with a huge burning hole in my pocket for less than food.

I was in Miramar to meet up with a friend for lunch and decided to check this place because I was in the mood for a salad...and to my surprise, this food was REALLY good. The Service-could of been a little better. The food-fresh, healthy and tasty. The decor-earthy. Note: If you are dating a MAD health fiend...then this is the place to come! So, check it...I ordered the Indian salad wrap with hummus and rice paper and it was "off the hook!!" The wraps are nice and fulling. Oh... you must try their homemade veggie chips, they are the best ever!!! I'll come again!!!!

Great Salads

The salad are really good but the service lacks!! The girls behind the counter look upset to be working there. One literally grunted when more customers came in. It was 5:00 pm!??? Management should really look into this. Makes customers feel uncomfortable. For 22 dollars for 2 salad and 2 drinks a little better service should be offered.

Love the salads but they are never open. The hours say open however I have driven all the way there in the middle of the day and they are not open.

I ordered a 'My Way salad' with lots of extras to hit the $20 min for delivery. It took almost 2 hours to finally get to me. I was told my order was wrong and they corrected it....WRONG!!! Half of my orders were not there. I was very disappointed. I felt robbed because I paid for the side orders and never got them. I will never order from them again.

The salads are mediocre at best. The service horrible. My final straw came after spending 5 minutes on the phone with a woman who barely spoke English, took my phone number 5 times but kept repeating it back to me wrong, was then put on hold while she spoke about me to another woman in the background, and was told they won't deliver to my address for just one salad because it's too far. However they have delivered just one salad, to this address, many times before. I will no longer even try with them.

I was in the Miramar area looking for a healthy lunch option and Giardino's popped up. The reviews on here are mixed but I decided to give it a try anyways... Well, I'm definitely glad I did because I am impressed with the variety of salad options, wraps and sandwiches they offer! I chose the "make your own" salad option with mixed greens, cashews, brie, pear and garbanzo beans with a bit of caesar dressing. The small option was quite filling and I will definitely come back here next time in Miramar!

As I walked in I was greeted by very friendly "hellos" during lunch time. Been there 3 times this month. Love the fresh options. Going back again.

Great place! Love their salad. Be careful ordering. Make sure you are clear and you tell them what you want. And be patient with their delivery. Order in advance. Got rushed to order when I called in 30 min before they close.

I loved Giardino's when I worked in Coral Gables... I ate there at least once, if not twice, a week. After I left that job, Giardino's was literally the ONLY thing I missed about working over an hour away from home. Needless to say I was thrilled to discover that they have a Miramar location that is super close to my new job. If only the service was the same as the Gables location... I stick with my usual salad, the Mama Mia, but I sub out the tomato and peppers for carrots and garbanzo beans. I was quite surprised one day to discover they had gotten rid of pine nuts and replaced them in the Mama Mia with almonds. I like almonds just as much as the next person, but the salad just isn't the same. I asked why they no longer have pine nuts, and the lady behind the counter curtly told me that they were too expensive. For real? I'm spending $8 on a salad, I assure you, you are still making a profit. My remedy: bought a package of pine nuts from Publix to keep in my drawer at work so I can sprinkle them into my salad. A little annoying, but doable. All in all, still a good salad with fresh ingredients and that killer Chianti vinaigrette. The main problem I have with this place is the workers, and I can't help but compare them to those in the Gables. There, they were nice (but not chatty) and fast, because they had to be given the high volume of customers. Here, things obviously aren't at the same pace, which would be fine except they're just not very nice either. Most of the employees I've encountered don't speak much English, and the one gentleman that did looked pretty annoyed to have to stop listening to his iPod to help me. On my second to last visit, the woman who made my salad was very clearly sick, sniffling and coughing the whole time. I watched her like a hawk to make sure my salad wasn't, um, contaminated... I didn't get sick, but c'mon, she absolutely shouldn't have been there. You work in food service... if you are that visibly sick, you should stay home, and your manager should insist that you go home if you're in that condition. All that being said, this is the only Broward location they have, so I really do have to come back here. For all their faults, I still really do like that salad. I just wish they were a bit more vigilant with their employees.
