Came here on Saturday as the first stop of the night and will definitely be back soon. All of the beer, of course, is the main attraction for me but a close second is the live music. I absolutely adore when businesses take advantage of the local mucisians in the area and give them a stage to cut loose on! A local band of young guys were playing...made me miss my own times of being in a band and petforming at similar venues. Good ambiance. Great crowd. The only thing thats kind of odd is that they dont serve food... but you can call any of the surrounding restaurants and they will deliver. Awesome beer! Will be back!

Really it's no different than any other Miami bar. It's just the kinda place you should expect to stand around listlessly until you're drunk and find everything absolutely amusing. You really got to love beer for the taste and not the effects to really like this place. The only advantage to World Of Beer is the selection. And that is all.

  • Tim R.

Do you know your beer? If you do, avoid this place! The price mark up is ridiculous (over 100%)! On tap selection is lacking and doesn't leave much room for discovery or comparrison. This place is good if you are discovering beer and don't understand the value or economics.

I came to this WOB before the new location opened up in Town & Country. This place usually has a great band and is not always slam packed. Good beer and great tunes for a fair price! I love it!

  • Marc R.

The best thing about this place is the eagerness of the bartenders to have you try every beer in the house. You could get a good buzz going just from that alone. The selection and variety of brews is as good and wide as you'd expect from a place called World of Beers. Prices were reasonable and staff helpful. Plenty of flat screens for those who need their sports fix. Live music though the band last night was pretty lame. The only nock I would give the place is the obvious "chain" vibe you get from the decor, a little cheesy.

Having come from Portland, my expectations are going to be a bit high. Nonetheless, I found the draft selection here to be pretty good in comparison to other places that claim to have a wide variety (DRB, that is especially directed to you). The bottle selection is even more impressive but be prepared to drop a pretty penny for a bottle of good craft beer. Their Happy Hour is impressive for South Florida with $1.00 off pints from 3-7, M-F. You're even luckier if you're female and get a pint of a beer you like that happens to be on the Ladies' Night Special (Thursdays) because it's 1/2 off! An added bonus is the fact that they have event nights like the upcoming Cigar City Brew Night on 3/19. I'll definitely be in attendance for that one.

Over 500 beers, close location, plenty of free parking (the garage beneath WOB), live music, and lots of TV for sports. What is there not to like? This is a relatively large bar, so you don't feel cramped (* cough cough* DRB/Cervezas) and the prices are reasonable. You can get a beer for as low as $4 to as high as $40. Also, you get a food menu for the restaurants in the downtown dadeland area. They will deliver to you. Kirby has been great with her service and recommendations and overall the place is just what this area needed. For the person that mentioned the douchy crowd, that is a pretty accurate assessment, but considering the size of this place, its easy to avoid those people, especially if you are with good company. Also keep in mind its Miami, the douchy crowd is part of living here.

World of beer, I wish you weren't so popular. Every time I come here it's always super packed. I can never find a spot to sit and even the bar is full of customers it's hard for me to get through and order a beer. I always see they have a different special going on for every day, and thats cool, but I just have bad timing. Too many people in the way makes it good for WOB, but annoying for me.

Well came here with friends last night, I didn't know this place even existed in the plaza. First and foremost the location of this bar is in a pretty good place, you got other food restaurants surrounding it, plus dadeland mall is right across the street. So the location is great, second the Bar is a pretty decent size and last night it was pretty packed. We came because from what I understood ladies drink free and military get half off. Well me being in the military and with my buddies we took the opportunity to see what they got, in my personal opinion out of like 15+ different beer tabs only about 3 or 4 beers were half off for us military guys. In my opinion pretty crappy but whatever. The bar was pretty packed and a good mixed crowd, the ages where about 21-27 so really young crowd. They had live band music playing, they also had TV's all over the place so you can watch the games and etc, and they had a nice outside area to sit as well. Overall the place is pretty decent, I just wished we had a little bit more of a variety for half off military beers. If you do park in the garage they do validate your ticket for the first 4 hours so you don't have to pay for parking. Make sure you bring your parking ticket with you. Oh and they don't sell LIQUOR it's only beer and wine.

This place just opened near Dadeland! They have a Ton of draft beers and bottled beer I think its 500 total different ones. Its like Cervezas meets Yardhouse. They had an awesome grand opening giving away a ton of stuff and surprisingly it ran pretty smoothly with the staff being on point. There are a bunch of booths and tables inside and also an outside patio to sit at although the last call is 1130 outside and you cant bring drinks out after midnight. They have a really good promo schedule with a Thursday ladies night and a Wednesday college night. Will be back for sure

It's always good when new beer places open up, especially close to my place. This place boasts 50 beers on tap and 500 bottles on either side so this place has something for everyone. It just opened last night and being within walking distance to my place is always a plus! I definitely recommend getting their loyalty card as it has its perks. Additionally, they have live music in the place and the bartenders are really great to deal with. Also, don't be afraid to ask for samples of a beer so you don't have to order the entire beer to find out if you like it.

  • Rachel G.

Went for the first time this weekend and it was GREAT! Our waitress Sam was AWESOME!!! We were all pretty clueless when it came to what we wanted..so after asking us a few questions on what kind of beers we like she brought each of us some samples that she thought would be a good fit and from there we ordered! I was a bit skeptical to come after seeing all the posts on how bad the wait stuff was..but apparently the crappy waitresses stayed home Saturday. Another great thing is the surrounding restaurants had people walking around offering to take orders and deliver to your table!!! YES! I KNOW! Totally crazy..so the fact that they don't serve food here doesn't matter because there is such an array of food available that it doesn't matter! All in all, GREAT time! And awesome waitress! Make sure you get Sam..she's got blond hair and plugs in her eat.

  • Natali D.

I enjoy coming here. It gets really packed sometimes so it takes a while for you to get your beer at times. But WOW to the selection of beer! they do not serve food, but girls from Lime are always coming by with food =) Parking is downstairs, and WOB validates your parking!

    (4)
  • Elizabeth G.

Really really liked this place.....it's all in the name of the place! Tons and tons of beers..from all over the world! Our waitresses were very knowledgeable and could answer every question we had pertaining to the different beers :) What was different was the food - you get your food delivered from nearby places-Chili's, Lime, Rocco's pizza, Elevation Burger, and a Cuban place....so there is a range of choices...but they bring the food quick, which is nice after having a few beers :) Will definitely go back! oh! And they also had a live band which started playing later in the evening..pretty cool....they also have a bunch of tv's everywhere, but the Heat weren't playing last night :)

What can I say about this place. Probably the best beer selection around. Decent selection on tap (for more extensive, go to Yardhouse). Prices are reasonable. Lots of local restaurants that deliver. Looking forward to the midtown location to open. Been to a handful of WOB's throughout Tampa Bay, all so far have been good.

  • Bob J.

Lots and lots of beer. I prefer to come earlier to beat the crowd. Glad there is a place that takes beer seriously. I should point out there is beer and only beer. No hard stuff or food. The advantage food wise is you can get food from any of the surrounding restaurants and eat there. Depending on the beer the prices range from fair to high. If you love beer you will love it here.

Visited World of Beer for the first time last month. Huge selection of beers from around the world at reasonable prices. It can be difficult to find a seat on weekends after 8pm, so get there early if you plan on sitting down at a table. Otherwise, you'll be standing around the entire night. Very fun atmosphere. Live band on weekends.

Combine beer with world and in my mind its a WINNER. WOB is the newest bar to hit downtown Dadeland and its pretty cool. They have over 500 beers and I believe 70 on tap. The cool thing is the beers are labeled in fridge by what part of the globe they are brewed. They have also impemented a "rewards program"which tracks all the beers you have had. When your tab grows you start getting free goodies. The genius behind WOB is the food, they dont serve it. All the close by restaurants do and they deliver to you. they dont need to deal with the food so you have limitless options. WOB is great!!! and reasonably priced.

Great concept and great selection of beers. Service? Not so great. I went here once with my fiance and after being seated, we had to wait 10 minutes for someone else to acknowledge us and at least give us a menu (the place was pretty empty). Since then I've heard the same complaints about them and their service. I wish seating was more comfortable. I'll try giving them another chance soon. For now I'll keep it at 3 stars for service.

This place is really cool. The selection of beers is insane. The staff is really cool and nice. The inside is pretty roomy with tables and TVs over the bar. Outside they have seats and a couple tables. Throughout the week they have ladies night, college night and etc...No food, but they have a list of restaurants where you can order to go and they'll deliver to WOB, and WOB lets you eat the food there! Will most definitely come here again

  • Tom G.

Excellent choice of beers! Good choice of local restaurants. Have a seat and have a tattooed girl bring you some funky beer from some wild place and she'll offer you a menu, or rather a list of menus from several local eateries that will deliver to your table at this beer joint. Oh and there's live music, and Heat basketball beating some less worthy team on the overhead screens. The members of your party (and that's the only way to go) can each order food from a different place. Talk about variety; it seems sinful.

    (4)
  • David M.

I'll start by saying this... 50 beers on tap and 500 something in bottle. It's like a dream come true. The service is good, but when compared to other local beer bars, you can't really complain. The staff is friendly, although their knowledge of craft beers may be lacking a bit, however they go through training programs and they're getting better. I've enjoyed going there. The crowd gets a bit packed in the later hours, but it may die down soon considering how new this place is. Parking can be a pain, but if you plan on staying less than 4 hours, you can park in the garage below the building for free... Just ask your server/bartender for validation. Other then that, the place is awesome.

This has been a new favorite location for me and my friends for the past 6 months! We go at least once a week, generally for a beer event...there have been some great ones...the Blue Point events with Lauren and the Cider events with Cesar remain amongst my favorites. Make sure to sign up for the WOB card, download the App, or like them on facebook, so you can be up-to-date on events. Even though it is a franchise, it still feels like a neighborhood bar. The staff is friendly, and we have made some good friends there. As I have mentioned in other reviews, walking into a place and having people greet you by name is a great feeling, I have always appreciated it. The WOB club is a great promotion, it has sparked friendly competition among me and my friends, I was thrilled when I hit 50, and can't wait to hit 100 soon (26 more!). Their addition of games night and trivia have become crowd favorites. One thing to keep in mind, it gets crazy crowded later on Friday and Saturdays, and HEAT games are SUPER CROWDED, but I have fun everytime I'm there. Parking is super easy because of the underground garage and free for the first four hours, which is nice considering you can't go to Brickell, SoMia or the Grove without spending at least $6. I love that you can bring in or order food. I recommend Lime or Paneras...just a great place to enjoy great beer. Special hats off to Claudio, Jamie and (now) Ely...for their beer knowledge and ability to make the experience even better.

if you like old bottles and dirty tap lines, this is probably the place for you. yes, the beers are cheap, but they all taste like shit. you'd think a place this big would move a lot of product and have some fresh beer. not the case. if you're a blue moon kind of guy and want to expand your horizons, i guess this is the place for you. there are several other places in miami worth supporting that actually give a shit about what they're pouring you.

beers from all around the world really brings out the alky in you. be a part of their loyalty program and start racking up points. great staff and a very mature crowd which makes this location worth coming to.

Where to start... I am familiar with the franchise, have visited their Viera (Central Fla) location. Like the premise, concentrate on the beer and let your neighboring businesses worry about the food. Beer selection is great, proper glassware, price is on point. Loyalty card and other promotions make it fun and cheaper. On opening night they were in full bore mode, packed and overstaffed(new employees paired up with veterans/trainers brought in from other franchises), went as smooth as a could be expected. This pattern continued for the first week, now comes the test, can the "new" staff pull it off. Some are seasoned bartenders from local establishments and others are well "newbies". Hope it all works out. In May another location opens in Town and Country Mall. As far as price, I think it's fair. Work the promos and specials and you can get off cheap, but they do offer the "caviar" if you want it, they have some large format specialty beer that fetch up to $35 each. Promos include- Happy Hour, Yappy Hour(Tuesday bring your pooch to the patio), Ladies Night, etc. As the saying goes, if you like it and want more, vote with your dollars.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Finally I have found a place that serves craft beers at affordable prices. First of all when I say affordable, the term is relative. If you are looking to spend $1 or $2 on a beer go and drink a Miller Lite somewhere else. This place is for people who want to experience truly unique and high quality beers. The selection is incredible, with about 30 beers on draft and hundreds more in bottles (not to mention that the selection is constantly rotating). Their loyalty card program provides a fun incentive to get you to try as many new beers as possible. Since WOB can get fairly crowded, especially Thursday-Saturday it's good to get there early to ensure that you get a table or a seat at the bar (even better). The bartenders are very friendly and knowledgeable. Ali has recommended numerous beers for me based on what I have previously ordered and all have been spot on. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday features live music which is always nice. WOB has become the go-to spot for my girlfriend and I when we want to relax and have some fun. Awesome spot!

I had a good time here the other day. I went on a Monday and it wasn't that full compared to a weekend of course. You can get free samples from the draft menu. Also you can order from the surrounding restaurants and they will deliver it to you. Beer menu is extensive, so if you like beer you'll be in paradise. There's free parking with ticket validation. The service was ok.

Let me begin by saying, I'm not a beer drinker. However, they have many different fruity options for someone like me. I have managed to find my favorite type of beer, anything framboise. They have 2 options, I believe and they are super delicious. They also have a Sam'l Smith strawberry and cherry beer that are very tasty. On weekend nights, they have a band playing. And during other nights they play games. There's always something going on whenever you go. WOB doesn't offer food, but that doesn't mean you are not able to eat. You can order food from any of the nearby stores and they will bring it to you. Nearby theres, Lime, Flippin pizza (my favorite), iron sushi, chillis, and a few more. This location can get pretty crowded, so come with time so you are able to find a place to sit. You can either sit inside or outside. I always have a good time when I come here. Whether I go with my bf or a group of friends, it's always a good place to hang out and enjoy some good beer. With that being said, I will continue to visit.

It's beer. It's a bar. Not many wine choices but then again it is World of Beer. Nice vibe, service has been good the couple of times I've been here. The food choices aren't that great (Lime, Panera, Chili's) but when one is inebriated, it isn't that big of a deal.

Fun, laid back, with an adventurous spirit and the slightest hint of skankyness. I like my bars how i like my women, WOB fits that bill. I've come here quite a few times. It was my first date bar for a while and it's starting to grow on me as a study spot since it is USUALLY kind of quiet outside on weekdays. The staff has always been pretty friendly / attentive. As far as their beer knowledge goes - i have no idea because all i know about beer is that it makes me happier. They've got over 100 beers to choose from and i'd highly recommend downloading the WOB APP! The one shortcoming of the app is that it doesn't show you the price - so that pint might just be $20. No penny beers here, bro, you gotta pay to play. On the subject of selection - if you're with a picky drinker, they have flavored beers. Chocolate, coffee, fruities, and i'm sure there are weird seasonal flavors - worst case scenario you can always go with a cider. Who doesn't like applejuice? If you download the app, you can check to see if any special events are going on. Most friday/saturday nighs they have live music that usually consists of cover bands if i'm not mistaken. They also have nights throughout the week with different specials - wednesday is university night and thursday is ladies / military night (i like what you did there WOB ;) It isn't the cheapest bar but it's got a really sweet casual vibe. Make sure you join the WOB club so you get points for every different beer you drink - after blowing hundreds of dollars you can earn cool schwag, like a t-shirt! Lol... hey, at least you get something! DO NOT PARK AT OFFICE DEPOT, just park in the underground lot (there are 2 entrances to the lot across from office depot). I have driven 2 people to the towing company for this reason. You can get your parking validated (good for 4hrs) at WOB.

We used to come here religiously as we live close by. Tonight we had company from out of town and made the mistake of inviting them to WoB. Let me get straight to the point: this place was great. Now the staff is totally different. The servers are super young and quite frankly, not very beer savvy. In fact, on my second to last visit, my server "accidentally" brought me the wrong beer which was conveniently double the price of the beer I had originally asked for, then proceeded to charge me for that beer and every other incorrect one too. We have been coming to this WoB for years, and have brought our dog nearly every visit since we got him a year ago. Usually we sit outside until they close the patio, then we get moved inside, dog included. tonight I guess they didn't want any more business and told us we couldn't go inside with the dog (patio was already closed and they were closing in an hour). We told the server that we always sit inside with the dog and have been doing so for a year. We ended up having to leave. I'm going to leave this place at 3 stars because really, it was a great hang out spot and maybe we have just out-grown it. If you've got a pup, make sure to arrive at 11 the latest if you'd like an hour to stay outside.

There's beer, a wide selection of food from the surrounding restaurants and tables with chairs. Not a lot of ways you can mess that up. I went for my first time for "happy hour" with coworkers. There were no regular HH, 50% off deals going on though. Even so, it was nice to have my choice of some of my favorite local brews including Funky Buddha, Miami Brewing Co., Wynwood and the like. Especially for this Dadeland area, they aren't always easy to come by. If you do have wine drinkers in the group, they have a couple of selections but don't come with your BFF that hopes to become a sommelier someday. The vibe is super casual and definitely seems like a go-to hangout for younger people living in the area. The inside has that nostalgic beer-spilt-on-the-floor smell which makes me think it gets pretty lively on the weekends. Back to the food. Lime seems to be the most popular delivery option which I would definitely go for next time I'm hungry. There's also a new pizza place that opened across the street which I'm sure will be clutch later on too. Cheers!

I wasn't terribly impressed by this WOB when it first opened - I believe I've referred to it, and disparagingly so, as the "Disney World of Beer" - a corporate, generic, cash-in on craft beer's trending popularity, with clueless employees and all the soul of an Applebee's or Olive Garden. Even then, they did have a lot of beer, to be fair, but it was a list seemingly more geared to craft beer newbies. Fast forward to now, and I do have to come back and give credit where it's due. This place is doing a LOT better per my reckoning, almost across the board. I'm still not sure that all of the servers are all that knowledgeable about the product they serve, but I have been pleasantly surprised and impressed by the knowledge of the bar managers. They "get" the whole beer-geek thing here more now, because a few of the people are clearly beer geeks themselves. The beer list, both on draft and bottle, has been upgraded. They are getting cool kegs, like some of the more interesting Funky Buddha and Cigar City stuff. On a recent visit, I was stoked to find CCB's excellent Session Berliner and Vanilla Maduro, even if they were just out of the Gin & Juice I had wanted to finally try. As for bottles, they are getting more of the specialty bottles I was lamenting as having been lacking in my original review. No longer do I have to sit there and scour the menu over 10 minutes for a single interesting-sounding beer that I've not yet had. In fact, I find myself looking forward to my next visit, because there's more I'd wanted to try. Easily the best beer bar south of Sunset Drive, and north of White St. in Key West. That's a lot of area.

By far, the Kendall WOB is better. There is more take out selection and better service. This WOB has the slowest service, drunk waitresses and not much food around to pick from. The bands are over overbearingly loud, and i did not see any board games like I do in the Kendall one. TIP: Make sure to get your ticket validated, otherwise you'll pay $5 and up for parking in the garage. And if I were you, just waste the extra gas and go to the Kendall one, you'll have a better time and waaaay better service.

Thank heaven for World of Beer, near Dadeland Mall. WoB provides knowledgeable service, a huge selection of tap and bottled craft beer, and a nice indoor/outdoor environment. It's a chain, but whatever- the selection was great, and the bartender was knowledgeable and on point on my visit. The bartender provided me with great local recommendations when I asked to Drink Local. Since I log beers on the app Untappd, including a few beer ratings: - Florida Lager, by Florida Beer Company 2.5 stars - Invasion Pale Ale, by Cigar City Brewing 4.0 stars And two non-locals with local themes: - Sharkinator, by Lost Coast Brewing 3.0 stars - Miami Weiss, by Great Lakes Brewing 3.0 stars Visiting from Chicago, I was very pleased with the amount of Two Brothers Brewing that was available. Beer flights are available, and if you're on the fence about a beer, ask for a small sample. Plenty of TVs around to catch all the games and matches, worth a visit if you're into craft beer and in the Dadeland Mall area.

I've always had a thing for beer... This place is great for the mere fact that I can try so many different kinds. The flights are my favorite thing to order for sure. What's better than getting a taste of world beers, then choosing that one perfect beer that tickles your pallet? Nada! I'm definitely privy to this location too because they have the couches outside, knowledgeable folks behind the bar, and decent places to order food close by. Pair that with a rocking live band on a Friday night and I'm a happy camper! Cheers!

Not a bad place to hang out with a few friends but it is a bit small with a parking that makes you feel a big bothered but it is not their fault but great location to live. I rate it this for the lack of service provided that really I can't complain it is filled with rowdy college students. But what really bothered me was the the vapor group that once again is not their fault but indoors with a foggy storm building up with 40 watt batteries and dripping vapors with a smell of burning hair. Thank you for the brew but I'll stick to the one in Kendal by the blue martini.

Its a nice place if you just want to hang out and have a beer or two during the early evenings. Once 9pm passes, it gets more of a club vibe with people overflowing into the outdoor area and live music (at least on Friday and Saturday). Don't come hungry as they are all about beer. I believe you can order food from surrounding restaurants and they will take it over but i can imagine that takes a while. My hubs had a Guinness on tap on a Friday night which they charged $7 for!! The place is a nice concept but Yardhouse probably has better selection (on tap) and the staff is more educated on what they serve. I will say that the girl taking care of us was very attentive and very nice. Thats a lot to say for how busy it was when we were there.

My experiences at this WoB location have oscillated wildly! I've had great customer service at the bar, and absolutely shitty customer service on the patio. This one time, the first seven beers I ordered were out. What?? The fact that the waitress had to go check for almost every beer individually? The disappointment was stretched out almost over 30 minutes. I am a pretty cool cucumber to be honest--I've been a waitress, a barista, and the rest of my resume is almost exclusively service and retail--but I was so disappointed I asked her if the management could do anything about it. She assured me they could. But no management came. Other times the band has been awesome and at a decent volume--and a different occasion the band epically sucked and not only was it overtly loud, but even after my party sat outside (to avoid the noise), the door was propped open and the din spewed all over the patio. When we asked the bouncer if he could shut it, he said no and was quite rude when we asked him why. Our waitress and eventually the manager had to come out before it was resolved--but it left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. But, to be honest, we'll probably be back. Since Cervezas closed, it's still the best beer selection--and our circle is predominately beer snobs.

I was approached right away and the bartender was very nice. Unlike the Kendall store this location really took care of me. Better restaurants near by too.

Got another badge today on the world of beer app. The app is by far the best way to keep track of the beer you've tried. Tells you what beer has been freshly tapped. Waitresses here at Dadeland are by far the better ones. Bet specials start at 9PM nightly. Food can be ordered from THE BIG CHEESE!!! and most importantly dog friendly!

I love this place. They have always got a great selection of beers and good entertainment. There's a nice patio outside to enjoy your brews and the Miami weather. If you park in the garage underground, they'll validate your parking ticket. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable about their beers. The only downside is they don't sell food, but they're a couple of restaurants nearby that will deliver to the restaurant. If you want to enjoy a large selection of craft beers, including local beers this is your place!

World of Beer is exactly what it claims to be - a world of beer! I have been a loyal customer for over a year now and love going for a few drinks with friends on a Friday night. The ambiance is very laid back with vibing music and friendly waitresses, and of course the beer is endless! World of Beer gives you the opportunity to try a variety of brews from all around the world which are otherwise not found in your local grocery store. Whatever your flavor is - Belgian, IPA, Amber, Stout - they've got it. And while you certainly will not like every beer you try, you'll gain a better appreciation for the brewing companies that put in a lot of hard work to make these beers. WoB also has live music almost nightly and Trivia and Bingo Nights weekly! Several local restaurants also deliver to WoB so that you can keep drinking without... well you know. If you're looking for a good time with friends, but aren't into the whole club scene, WoB is for you. Drink On!

Ahhhhhh. World of Beers. What can I say besides the main reason my a__ been drinkin so much beer is because of this place. Never a dull moment. Service was on point and beers were to our expectations. If your a loyalty card member then you know about having to drink allllll kinds of beers. One thing I was just a little unhappy about was that chilis no longer delivers to WOB. Other than that. Its always freakin awesome.

Small location with good service. Staff is usually good and ran under good management. Definitely a great place to sit down and enjoy a beer alone, with friends or making friends! Many board games to play and company to enjoy. The only down fall for me is the live music. Normally bad bands playing music loud which kill the atmosphere if all you want to do is enjoy a beer with friends. Good beers and events usually rotating!

Went here for beers on Fri night and my friend and I both instantly liked it. There are literally hundreds of great beers to choose from. The staff is friendly and unpretentious and the food arrangement is what we thought was particularly clever. They don't serve food here, but give you a menu to a bunch of neighbouring restaurants that will deliver to your table! I like this commitment to beer and beer only! Cooking food? Ain't nobody got time fo' that! If you're looking for a cool place to have great beer in Miami, look no further!!!

Although this isn't my usual WOB location, my two friends and I decided to come here this past Saturday on a rainy evening. This location has yet to grow on me. I can noticeably tell that the waitress had forgotten to bring us the beers we ordered as she was walking on our direction and went back to get them. She also took way too long to pass by our table to take more of our beer orders. I understand you're watching the game, but the thirsty patrons would like a beer. Another pet peeve of mine was the fact that my friend reached the lucrative WOB 100 and THEY RAN OUT OF BEER MUGS! The Horror!

I came to World of Beer on a Thursday, and it was busy--packed--so packed that my friends and I had to crowd in a tiny section. I felt claustrophobic, and it reminded me of why I don't go to crowded bars. The servers here were friendly and came to us every 15 minutes. They don't have food here, so if you want food, I suggest picking up food from Lime, across the street. 2.5 stars.

This is the original WOB in Miami. When they created this bar, they stuck it in the PERFECT place. A little center across from Dadeland Mall that really had nothing going for it. Soon after WOB came into the picture, other great venues started popping up all around. Now the Dadeland area is turning into a spot to rival South Miami/Sunset barhopping wise... and I'm loving it! The staff at this particular location are very friendly and helpful when it comes to rummaging through the LOOOOONG list of beers available. Last night, I was pleasantly surprised that they had a short list of $3 buck pints for purchase too! No food sold at WOB, but you can order delivery from any of the nearby restaurants and eat both indoors and outdoors.

  • Jacob L.

The beer list is amazing! The staff knows their stuff when it comes to beer so if you have any questions they can help you. And on certain days they have a live band playing, bingo night, and trivia night. It can be hard to find a place to sit at times on weekend nights. For food you can order from any of the near by restaurants and they will deliver to you. Make sure to sign up for the membership which is $15 and includes a koozie, a sticker, and 2 draft beers. With the membership you receive points every time you buy a different beer and when you reach milestones you get more free stuff (gift cards, shirts, plaques, mugs, free beer). Also download the app to track your points and beers you've had!

The only thing I didn't like about this place was that last call outside (where it's funner) is at 11:00am and everyone must be inside by 12:00am. Then last call at 12:30am and they close at 1:00am ... BOOOO!!!!!!! and beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer...Love the Menu!

My fellow Yelper Patrick L. Would go into a cataclysmic Hopp's heart attack over this place. Patrick would be in beer nirvana. I say this as I drink my Black & Tan. World of Beer (WOB) is just that, BEER! And, what an array it is. WOB as frilly as it's strictly no frills. Meaning no food, beer yes and lots of it, but food is non-existant. Service here, well it's outstanding, need I say more. But, I must digress as I'm still drooling over the pretty bottles with bubbles and dare I say al-kee-hol in it. Prohibitionists would hate this place. Now for the important stuff: Prices: not that bad, there beer menu is 17 pages, so they have everything for the Mitt Romney's of the world, to the Joe the plumbers. But, plumbers do make a lot. Food: we'll you can order from the outside restaurants, kinda neat, but kinda not. Music: Excellent, most excellent. Parking: ok it sucks, not there fault, blame the area. World of Beer rocks plain rocks, it's a must place to go!!!!!

There was a point in time when I would have gladly given this place five stars without even thinking for a second about it. They have a ton of beers on tap, and even if they don't, it is very likely they had a bottled or canned version of what you were looking for. They even have wine for those who want to hang out with their beer snob friends without having to drink beer themselves. They're also surrounded by a variety of restaurants with free delivery to where you're at, making up for the lack of an in-house kitchen by providing multiple options from elsewhere. So far, so good right? Well let me give you a quick recap on these past two years: History: When it first opened up this place was amazing, especially on Wednesday nights when the WHOLE draft menu was 50% off. I tried so many different beers that I would never try because of that deal. Slowly but surely though, the amount of options dwindled. First, it became only half of the menu...then only about a quarter of the menu...then about 10 beers...and now it's at a point where they have a stagnant list of beers for the Wednesday for $3. I have no idea why they did it, or if it works out for them, but I can say that World of Beer is a shell of its former self now since they kept messing around with that deal. Service: Even if that were the only thing, it'd be annoying sure, but it wouldn't be the end of the world. I have enough money now to not overly rely on deals to drink what I want, but unfortunately it doesn't mean jack if the service is garbage and they can't get you what you ordered in the first place. A scenario that has happened far too frequently, I have had waitresses that forget about my entire table's drink orders and just disappear for half an hour. I silently pray now that when I order a drink, I will actually get it without having to repeat it to the waitress or having to get up and order it from the bar myself. That is just garbage service, and unfortunately it has become the standard here. Other Problems: There are a host of other problems: the bathroom is always in complete disarray, the DJs and live bands they get to play there are completely obtrusive and take away from the relaxed vibe a place like this should be aiming for. Frankly, all these bad ideas point to pretty shoddy management decisions. Conclusion: I have a World of Beer loyalty card with more than 100 beers on it, and I still come here fairly often, but it's not because this place is great. As long as this place has a relative monopoly on the craft beer scene in the Kendall area, it'll probably stay open even though it gets worse and worse everyday and does not deserve to stay open. I wish this place met the promise it had when it first opened up (I was actually there with all my friends on opening day at 3PM), but unfortunately it has not and that's a damn shame.

Really killer beer. Awesome selection Food you can order take out or delivery from places around the bar. Really easy to eat and drink.

  • Carrie R.

Pretty extensive and impressive beer list only downside is the lack of food, I mean I get it it's the "world of beers" but with that much beer at least give your patrons some food to soften the onslaught of beer. In this location you can order from surrounding restaurants but I was with some friends who did just that and you're basically rolling the dice on delivery time and order accuracy.

  • Heather F.

Note: for easiest parking park in the garage! It only costs a couple of dollars and there is lots of space. I love World Of Beer! Austin is getting one soon. They have a wonderful selection of beers on tap which is the biggest draw. Ask the staff for what they recommend as these guys are well informed. Milk Stout Nitro by Left Hand Brewing in bottle was the hottest pick the night I went. Soooo great! They have several TV's for watching sports so it would be a great place to catch a game. Only downfall is no food but there are a couple of places that deliver here.

Cool atmosphere and great service but it smells like used wet dirty towel. From the second you walk in you smell it and you will smell it on the menus, tables and glasses. Really disgusting.

Do you love beer? If you answered yes then you MUST check out World of Beer. The name is not only catchy but suits this place well being that they have imported beer from all around the world. I was able to sample different beers that I had never even heard of till now. A particular one that made my mouth water was the blueberry flavored beer with actual blueberries at the bottom of the glass. I spent the night mostly drinking Sapporo because they usually only have it at Japanese restaurants and I truly enjoy that beer. Another one that I tried was the beer with the strongest alcohol content of course and it was pretty accurate. I cannot remember the name for the life of me because by then things were a little fuzzy. All I can say is that it was so strong for a beer that I felt I was drinking vodka. THEY DO NOT SERVE FOOD at this place but fear not, they came up with a great solution. Ask for the menu when you do get hungry and what they give you is every menu, of all the participating restaurants in the area (about 6). The interesting part is that you and your group may all order from different places without any additional charge for delivery. They walk up to the zone you're sitting in and you pay the delivery boy/girl for your food on the spot. On certain days they have a live band performing and the music definitely ties it all together for me. I will continue to go back to this happening spot because it is simple and straight to the point. They sell beers, some of the best beers you may ever taste and I happen to love beer. 5 stars!!!

Place gets PACKED, but they have a great selection of beer. I love the blueberry ones. YUM! They sometimes offer live music. Bring quarters and dollars for garage parking, as the machine sometimes gives you a hard time and only accepts either/or.

Hell yes - love this place! Chill and relaxed atmosphere, a hell of a selection of beer, and I love that it's 21+ after 7pm (no offense to the youngins)! Their menu is so well organized and informational, too. You shouldn't have any trouble picking out the type of craft you're craving that night! Plus, having food delivered right to your table from other local places is so convinient. Do it!

  • Kristiel O.

Great beer selection. Staff are friendly and attentive. The only negative comment i have about this place is the extremely loud music. There's a great selection of DJs and live music playing every night but the music is soo loud it's hard to have a conversation with friends.

This place used to be great. Currently, is horribly mismanaged, service is despicable and it's likely the worst Miami location. I've had my points not applied to the loyalty card numerous times, the waitress charged the wrong person for the whole tables tab... It's amazing to me how a place can go down hill. The quality of staff is embarrassing. They don't know how to dress and wear clothing that's inappropriate to say the least. If you want attitude, ass cheeks in your face with horrible service on the side, than this is the place for you.

It was during the Heat Playoffs and summer time... This was my first visit and Ive heard so much about it, I was excited! I arrived early to snag a table for the large group that was joining me soon. When I arrived the place was almost full and a live band was on stage. I noticed the band was soaking wet from sweat! Then I noticed how hot it was in the place and said "OH no I should have worn shorts flip flops and tank top! Turns our the AC broke and they couldn't fix it till the next day. I loosed my shirt, found my beer and told the girl to keep them coming. What a selection of beer! After several beers I began to get hungry! I looked at the menu and noticed no food! The server came over and offered different menus from neighboring restaurants. What a concept! Drink here, order from there! Lime is your best bet, I ordered from a waitress from lime and I went over to pick it up (a lot easier), and while I was there I had a margarita!

I've never had a beer experience like this before. The menu alone has well over 100 beers, most of which I've never heard of. Everything from light beer to beer that contains 14% alcohol by volume (yikes)! My favorite beer was some sort of Blueberry Beer that tasted like Blueberry Muffins and actually contained....you guessed it - BLUEBERRIES!!! The average cost per beer is $6-8. Very affordable considering the experience. This place does not serve food however management allows you to bring food in. I noticed a lot of ppl brought Pizza from across the street which kinda resembled cardboard with tomato sauce. I went on a Sunday which was perfect for football games. There's enough TVs to keep someone with A.D.D miserable. This place is a man's cave on steroids!!!

I went to World of Beer with my friends last Friday and we ordered a bottle of wine and shared it. I didn't see the receipt until my friend gave it to me which is two days later. When I saw the receipt, I found out that the wine charged on the receipt is not the one we order and it's more expensive. The wine showed on my receipt is not even on the bar's menu. I called back the first time and the manager explained that they are going to change the whole menu for next month (Jan, 2015) and the wine on my receipt is one of the coming menu WHICH IS NOT ON THE CURRENT MENU. However, the manager refused to refund the difference because she said that we already drank the bottle! I called back and argued with her that we are not supposed to pay for the bottle which is not on the menu. She said she need to "make a call" before she can reply me. Finally she agreed to refund me the stupid difference. Guys, please be careful when you sign your check because they might put the wrong bottle on your check and charge you more!

I want to love World of Beer, for the obvious reason: few places have as thorough a selection of beer as this place does. But sadly, I cannot. One star for overall experience. Extra star added because I cannot take away from the fact that you're ordering out of a beer book, and that's awesome. I don't like that it feels like the Disney World of craft beers. Does it feel a little fake to anyone else? Even as I ask this, I'm not entirely sure of what I mean, but I just don't get a genuine bar vibe here. Service is awful. Scenario 1: Order a beer, get the wrong beer poured by waitress, tell her it's not what you ordered, and you'll spend 20 minutes trying to convince her that YOU DON'T WANT THAT BEER, YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF DRINKING THE BEER, SO PLEASE TAKE IT BACK (while she tries to convince YOU to keep it). Scenario 2: Order a beer, wait 20 minutes, never get your beer. and by that point, you don't want it anymore. There was a leak in the women's bathroom, which, when brought to the attention of our waitress, was handled like this "oh. my manager is over there (points), you can go tell her" Crowd? Kinda douchey. The only thing that has made my two visits to this place enjoyable is the fact that I was there with good company.

Normally I like places with massive selections of booze, but this place just didn't do it for me. The selection was there, certainly, but many of the descriptions were similar and lackluster. It was pretty much like spinning a roulette wheel when you ordered a beer - you had no idea where it was going to land. The prices were on the high end, and you assume they all come out as pints - not so. They must have a massive selection of odd shaped and sized glasses that they use based on which beer you order - So it's bad enough if you pay $9 for what you think is a pint, only to have it come out in an 8 ounce glass. I find tactics like that to be dirty. Combine it with the complete lack of enthusiasm and cluelessness of the servers, and I can say I would never be back. I'd rather go to the Chimes in Baton Rouge any day... and I hate the Chimes.

Disclaimer: I am not a beer drinker...BUT my friends are...therefore I must say this place has many options to choose from..I mean..the beer selection is quite massive. Nice atmosphere, cool tunes...Def a great addition to the South...since there's really not much going on around that part of town. Try it!

Wow that's a lot of beers. While visiting my sister in South Florida, she brought me here. I am not the greatest fan of beer, but when I saw the menu, I knew I could find something I liked. I honestly cannot tell you what I ordered, but I will say that the server was very helpful when helping me decide. I narrowed it down to maybe 3 or 4 and she told me which one was the most popular. They actually do not have bar food here! They order from restaurants around and the servers from those restaurants take your order, bring you your food, and you pay right on the spot whether via cash or credit! Great atmosphere for sporting events and/or live music. Luckily, I got a little taste of both with the NBA finals playing and a live band when I visited. Bottom Line: No complaints about the service and/or cleanliness. Usually you think beer/bar you think sticky floors and sticky tables. World of Beer is none of that! So they get my two thumbs up for cleanliness. The food ordering system is kind of out of this world, but hey, you get your food without having to leave your table. Definitely a place to check out if you are a lover of beer!

Just an update from my previous review. This is not about the place. The place is awesome. This is about the crowd. If you come after work (5pm - 9pm) its chill, not too bad. After 9pm, its starts getting crowded. On Friday after 10pm, its packed so be warned. Depending on the type of atmosphere you want will dictate when you want to come. Also....1/2 students & FACULTY (that is awesome!!!) on Wed.

All my favorite beers on tap and then some. I've never seen Lambic on tap. Very impressive! I'm pretty sure every staff member waited on us and they were all very helpful and friendly. All the way to closing time they had smiles on their face. The live music was great and the beer recommendations were perfect. I really loved this place.

Huge amount of beers, and a correspondingly long wait for those beers. With service like this, I wondered if they were brewing the beers while we waited. Nope. Just super slow poke waitresses. Guess my experience was similar to others on here who had atrocious service here.

Visited on a Friday night around 9pm, very crowded but not to bad. The crowd was mostly 21-40 yr olds, band was playing, pretty good music. No seating available, but crowd was always shifting in and out, so seating wasn't that bad to acquire after a couple of minutes of waiting. Our group decided to sit in the outside patio, they have chairs and lounge sofas. Waitress was great, very helpful and knowing all the beers offering samples for all the ones we questioned. I really did enjoy the atmosphere, but one downfall and a reason I may not return, around 10 minutes to midnight, they advise all the customers sitting outside that they are closing the tabs and we have the option to reopen them inside. They need to do this because they are located under condominiums and cannot be outside. (great place to put a bar!--FAIL!)

I enjoy the selection of beer here - obviously. I don't particularly like the location of this one. I am going to check out the other ones in the area. However, I am very pleased to announce that they do serve some beer from Due South Brewery (which I highly recommend). I didn't get a chance to eat here yet so I can't review the food, but the service (I went late night) was a little slow and it was extremely loud. We were sitting in the patio area and I could barely talk to my friends. I am willing to go back and give it another shot. If this is the scene you are looking for - I recommend it. Or if you really enjoy beer - I recommend it!

Just visited this place for the first time and enjoyed it a lot. I had heard about it and that they don't serve food so I came prepared.. We grabbed a burger from across the street at Elevation Burger and brought it with us. Like who doesn't want an awesome craft beer with their organic grass fed burger anyway?!?! They had an extensive amount of beers on draft and a list of over 500 bottled beers to choose from. The waitress was super nice and helpful. She asked us what we like to drink and immediately brought us four samples to try before we made our decision. I will be returning and would definitely recommend this place. Don't forget to bring your own food.

I'm in love with this place!! Finally a place in Miami where the people that work there actually know their beers and are able to recommend off the wall brands that I've never heard of before based on my taste, and get it right every single time! I usually tend to go drinking there in the middle of the afternoon (don't judge me!) and it's not busy so I can actually have a conversation with the bartender about beers, sports or various other things. I think that kind of interaction is what is missing from most bars in Miami. It kind of tends to fade away when they get busy in the evenings...but I guess that's understandable. They have hundreds and hundreds of beers from all over the world, so they are bound to have something that fits your taste buds. What's that you say? You're hungry? Well that's not a problem...they have the menus from the adjacent restaurants (Lime, Elevation Burger, Chilis) and you can call them up and place an order and they will bring it over to you. That's right...you don't even have to get your butt up off that barstool! Just sit back and enjoy that frosty brew :) If you fancy yourself a well rounded beer drinker, you should look into their loyalty card. The more you drink, the more free stuff you get.

I absolutely love this location. I get to sit out in the patio with my friends and enjoy a cigar while we have some great beers. I've been coming to this location since they first opened, and love it. Great beer selection, 90% of the staff is great! the prices are not too b d and the member perks are awesome too.

Great selection of beer, in fact too many to recall. It's a new place with a fairly new concept - they serve the beer and restaurants around provide you food. Th food orders (although from a different restaurant, kitchen and further location) arrived more quickly than my beer orders. The poor girl serving us had no idea what she was doing nor could she remember one beer order at a time. Note to her: you have a pend and a pad - WRITE IT DOWN. (especially after we told you 5 times.) The place has potential: over about 500 beers, good for watching games (although you couldn't hear the Heat game), and a decent amount of sitting area inside and out. I'd like to go back, but they definitely need to train their servers better.

If you like (love, enjoy) beer then this is your place! After browsing the menu several times over I just couldn't decide so I opted for their taste sampler. They have a pretty good draft selection and an awesome bottled menu. Atmosphere is pretty relaxed and the music selection was pretty good too. They have a food menu from some of the restaurants nearby, all you need to do is call (number is on the menu) and they will deliver right to your table. I like the concept. There's limited street parking but there's an underground parking lot with lots of spots.

Perhaps, somewhere, there's a galaxy awash with worlds of beer. Planets populated with rivers of Yuengling, PBR showers, Guinness bottles sprouting from the ground. But until we discover such a shangri-la, I can live with the myriad of options offered by Miami's own World of Beer. And a whole new world this brew den is! Seriously. With 500+ suds to select and the staff more than happy to help us decide - we were happy little alkies. I dig my beer, but first and foremost I'm a cider chick, so I was stoked to have so many options of the sweet stuff. A rare find indeed. I taste-tested several selections, and finally stuck with Woodchuck raspberry. The atmosphere is college casual and the crowd, chill. You can have food delivered from a number of local eateries, so you can occupy your barstool all night long while staying fed and watered. What's not to love about this little planetary wonder?

How have I not written about this place already!?? Okay, beer lovers here's the breakdown..... *Over 500 beers *Live music *Food delivered to your seat from almost all the restaurants around downtown Dadeland *A bunch of TVs around the bar for all you sports loving fanatics *Rewards program (apply for the WOB card) and you can rack up points every time you go How can you go wrong with this place? I absolutely love WOB! Definitely get there early if you want a seat especially Thursday-Saturday. Another great thing at WOB is their daily specials. They always have a special going on everyday of the week. FYI Thursdays ladies get half off on selected draft beer that rotate every week. I also know Mondays is their "in the biz" night.

This place is walking distance from my apartment, and it's a godsend. 100s of beers to choose from with specials practically going on every day. Watching any sporting event is a pleasure to enjoy here, so long as it doesn't get too packed. They host charity events. You can order food from the surrounding areas to have delivered. It's booze heaven! How can you not rate this 5 stars!

A definite go-to spot for beer lovers. Even if you're not one, however, you may find one to your liking. I've seen a lot of girls order the blueberry beer, which, as others mentioned, has actual blueberries in it. If all else fails, you can always order some wine. If you go hungry they will provide you with menus from neighboring restaurants, including the likes of Lime and Elevation Burger, all of whom deliver right to you. They have live music Thursday through Saturday, and happy hour every weekday until 7pm. Loyalty Card Night is on Tuesday, College Night on Wednesday, Ladies' Night (and also Military Night) on Thursday. The only drawback is that World of Beer is a victim of its own popularity. Landing a table is next to impossible if you don't arrive early, and even finding a spot at the bar is unlikely. Crowded is an understatement, which can result in frustrating waiting times. That being said, the bartenders are courteous and they try their best to take care of the patrons as swiftly as possible. P.S.: There are a few parking spots on the street, but you'll have better luck finding a spot in the garage. This garage may be considered an underground city from how large it is, so make sure you take note of where you park. Oh, and don't forget to have your bartender validate your ticket!

I don't understand why everyone is so bananas about this place. It seems easier to flag down a plane when I'm stranded on an island than it was to get a waitress to take my order! They DO have a great beer selection, but so does DRB in Downtown and I don't have to carry a megaphone to get some attention. The rewards program is NOT as awesome when you actually calculate how much you're spending. Let's break it down: Assuming you purchase $5 beer every time you go (conservative assumption), and you drink 500 beers to get your $250 bar tab. $5 x 500 = 2500, which means you get 10% back. You can probably get better rewards from a Discover credit card. Not to mention (assuming you drank 7 different beers a week only at World of Beer), it would still take you approximately 17 months to reach 500 beers. If you want to try a crazy beer selection and don't feel like driving downtown to DRB, then this is the place you wanna go. (Or if you have low self-esteem and love to be neglected by your waitress)

Packers fans unite. Was there for the Thursday night game Bears @ Packers and there was a decent turnout for Packers fans. Let's keep that going. Would love a cool place, and WoB is definitely a cool place, to have a few beers and enjoy Packer games. This place has a great selection on tap and even more in bottled beers. Lots of seasonal stuff available too. They also have menus from nearby restaurants that will deliver right to your seat. The staff was pretty friendly and attentive. The live music was also nice and did not overwhelm your conversation. Get there early for games or in general. It was pretty full on a Thursday night.

I am not treating this place as my go to spot for incredibly attentive bartenders or value or even seating capacity. All of that is very poor, actually... But this place does exceed in Wednesday night College Night. Bring your college ID and get certain drafts half off, along side the monthly special brew which will run you around $3.50. The vibe was great, as dadeland does a good job of filtering out the college punks and leaving just the adventurous that create a good vibe. But I don't see myself coming here on any other night, honestly.

This place is pretty damn cool. I've heard so much about it ever since it opened but never managed to go until last night. I arrived at around 8PM, luckily my friends had gotten there earlier and managed to get us a table. (There was a Heat game later.) I really really liked this place! I read a bunch of their little fliers for all the specials they offer and their rewards programs. They even have a "Yappy Hour" where I can bring my dog, sit outside and get $1 off Dog-related brews. Luckily, I'm a huge Dogfish Head fan. And Turbodog is great too. Anyway, since this place doesn't serve food, they let you order from all the places around here. I flagged down a Lime server and she brought me my favorite, the Queso Burrito. Awesome! They offer a great selection here. I actually ordered cider last night for the first time. It was pretty delicious. I'll definitely come here again. I live like 10 minutes away. Also, I paid $11 something for a beer (Indica IPA) and a cider. Not bad.

This place is awesome!! Love the selection of craft draft and bottled beers. On my endless quest of brews.....this has got to be one of the better places in the kendall area!! Great indoor and outdoor seating with big screen tv's. Best place to watch a game. Local restaurants deliver food right to your table.....greatest thing ever. No matter what your craving it's near by.

This is one of those places that it's quite easy to stay too long, drink too much and easily lose track of time and your wallet. My only disappointment is that they did not have the Newcastle Werewolf beer - must be a hot commodity in South Florida, because everywhere I went that offered it didn't have it on hand. There are plenty of beers to choose from.

Stopped by during a recent business trip. Good beer selection. They have a bacon beer?? No food but there are plenty of local restaurants that will deliver to the bar.

Hands down the most overwhelming bar you'll go to, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. They literally have every beer imaginable and while it doesn't have that authentic, intimate feeling that a typical bar has, it does offer up some rather impressive items on draft and in bottle form. The service inside is not that good, in fact it's pretty bad. I would recommend sitting outside only because there seems to be more attention given to the tables. The beer is reasonably priced, though some imports and Belgium ales are a little higher than they should be. No food option here but you can order from any place in the Promenade or even Direct From Philly which delivers free of charge.

Excellent beer selection! They stand by their name ... they truly have a large beer selection. I loved how the server would give us a few taste tests of other similar beers before we decided on what we wanted. The one I had last night has some blueberries in it and I have absolutely no idea what it's called but it was delicious!! There is no food at this place but I hear that the restaurants nearby will deliver food there when you order from them. Also, they have live music on the weekends. I really enjoyed going there.

This place is awesome. It's super cheap, they have a ton of beers, and you can order food from the places all around it. The have the food menus of like 8 or 9 restaurants in that area, like 20 draft beers, and around 500 bottled beers. The servers are all super nice and knowledgeable about the beers they serve, as are the servers from the other restaurants that go take your order. Love it and will be returning very soon.

this place is a solid 3.5 stars. im not a big beer drinker, but they have such a huge selection there is something for everyone - even have my favorite irish cider beer. but more importantly they have wine!!! not a lot to choose from in the wine dept, but hey, what they do offer gets the job done. my favorite part about this place is the food, you can order from any of the neighboring restaurants and they deliver right to your table. how awesome is that?!!?

This place is awesome! A menu for drafts ad a menu for bottles! The servers are literally trained (tests and all) on the different beer selections, so if you can't make a decision and you have already sampled some drafts, just ask...they will narrow it down for you. If you like the glass your drinking from, you can even purchase it, I promise you, you will want to. They don't serve food but the restaurants that are around do come by to take orders and serve you without you having to leave your table. Will be back...probably this weekend!!

Came here for my birthday on a Wednesday and I regretted it. The music was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves trying to yell over it. The service was terrible. We waited almost 45 minutes before we got beer, and they don't even have food. The beer selection was amazing, but I wouldn't go again.

Best beer selection in Miami ! I love my Germany beers and they're the only ones who carry those beers in Miami . WOB Dadeland is my new favorite joint. The people are cool too. Doesnt have that douchebageryness to it. And doesnt have that funk that all bars have. Very clean and they have live music on some nights. The bar tenders are down too. They dont ignore you like other places in Miami. My GF and I go there about once every week or two and love it every time. We had a blast during the Miami Heat's road to victory to winning the championship. The only issue is I believe is at Dadeland they close at 1am. Which doesnt bother me because I dont party till 6 in the morning anymore and it's located around apartments and we dont need the noise till 4am. Good job WoB Dadeland! A+

This place is my favorite bar in all of Miami. I never used to like beer until I came here, they helped me find one I like. The staff is super friendly and they remember you if you're a regular (the cute bartender always smiles at me and remembers my name and I think thats awesome). They're also super knowledgeable and can recommend you anything and can answer even the most specific questions. The draft menu changes weekly but never disappoints. That sucks for someone like me who is considerably picky but its okay, if you have an open mind then you're golden. They don't serve food but the places around WoB will deliver to you without a problem (I recommend Lime, the fish tacos are sexy) Wednesdays is WOB U, 1/2 off all drafts with a student ID. Obviously thats the best deal ever. If you park in the garage they can validate your parking and you park for FREE! Highly recommend this place.

What a cool place! I loved it!! The beers are incredible and the selection is amazing. Music is great too. FUN FUN FUN.... If you get hungry plenty of nearby restaurants that will deliver to you at WOB personally. It's truly awesome!! Go you won't be disappoint.

Holy beer batman! Wow, over 500 to choose from. I went here for a cider tasting and had a lovely evening. You can also have food brought to you from the local food laces if you get hungry, they have conveniently set up delivery zones. My lovely friend and I did not have any trouble with the bartenders when we were there. We sat at the actual bar, so maybe that helps with the service? I also had a delirium tremens and it tasted off, I told the bartender, they tasted it then had an "expert" taste it whom agreed with me. (In my head I'm thinking duh, it's one of my fave beers I know when it's off). In they end they changed out the keg and ave me a new one, it was better. However, perhaps I should have just gotten a bottled version of it because to be it still wasn't perfect. I applaud their efforts though. I wouldn't mind going back here, even though it's not in any of my regular Miami stomping grounds.

All they serve here is beer. If you want food you have to order it from one of the surrounding restaurants. They have a large variety of beer and had a nice selection of ciders. When they have live music it can get a very loud. Service was great and if you park in the garage remember to ask your server for the validation ticket. We saved $5 on parking :)

Awesome, extensive collection of beer (obviously) and super friendly, not to mention extremely attractive staff. Even when they're busy, they make sure you have what you need and don't skip out on being polite and attentive. Great place for happy hour and drinks with friends.
