Good food for carry out. Nice people and they smile enough to keep me coming back. The Chinese place across the street does not compare so if you're looking this is the spot at this corner.

Great place. I order here often, a couple times a month and the food is always great. The sweet tea is the bomb, the service is excellent and I keep coming back time after time.

Not the best. The water tastes like chlorine. Veggies tasted stale or spoilt in the Kung pa chicken. Service was okay. Noodles were good. Egg drop soup was okay.

Village Chinese Restaurant is a nice, quiet restaurant located within the plaza of Country Walk--on the side of Subway and Diary Queen. I've been here before because it was near Publix, but I'm not a big fan of this place. My sister has order take-out from them and brought it home on several occasions. Yet, I still prefer the restaurant cross the plaza--I don't want to say which, but you'll know when you get there. I felt when I got food that it doesn't taste that great and it seemed dry. But you never know it could have been those days that I went there and ordered from them. It could be different for someone else. I just can't see myself coming here unless I have too or if someone is treating me. Otherwise, I'm going back to my favorite place.

Friendly and efficient staff. Generic chinese food with good value. Nothing really special but nothing bad either. Good neighborhood chinese when you want somewhere close or want quick delivery.

I eat here once a month or so, good food. I usually get potstickers, Kung pao Chicken, schezwan beef, beef fried rice or broccoli beef, and a have no complainants. Delivery is usually fast, but I did have a bad experience when it took an hour and 45 mins. That seems to be an isolated event, though

This place is always fast and tasty. It's fast Chinese take out.. what can I say. The portions are huge, the chicken is always crispy and they use chicken breast for their sweet and sour (big plus). The ladies are so nice and it's close to home. I'm quite the fan. I prefer this place over that other one next to petsmart.. that other one is totally yucky.

Came here with my Chinese family. The workers there immediately took notice to us and treated us with great respect asking us where we're from, etc. The ladies who were working promised us more traditional dishes instead of the American menu. The food was pretty good, even though they might not having access to fresher ingredients. (I was told that it's harder to get certain ingredients since there isn't a great Asian population in Florida.)

We've been here a few times now, and it's very hit or miss. The sesame chicken was good the first time I ordered it. The second time it tasted like it was coated in ketchup with a hint of sweetness added to the ketchup sauce. The fried rice is always good, but the egg rolls are also hit or miss. The prices are pretty average, with the dinner combinations being a decent deal, but I'd like consistency. The other issue is the strange smell of the place every time we've gone- definitely have to get the food for carry out.

This place is amazing! I've been coming here for YEARS and they never fail to impress. Even after I moved out of the Kendall area, I still come back for the food. It's the best Chinese food in Kendall and Country Walk, possibly all of South Miami. They have all my information on file and have really fast delivery. My favorite is the General Chicken, Honey Chicken, and BBQ Ribs. So delicious and juicy. They have pretty sizeable portions and always have some sort of special discount happening, like a free pint of fried rice if you order over $25. If you're looking for something that not a lot of people try but is still amazingly delicious, go for the Beef Sticks or Chicken Pan Fried Noodles. Very yummy.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
