Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Overall this restaurant was great! The service was excellent from the hostesses to the bus boy and most of all our waiter! He recommended a dinner for two which allowed my date and I to try all of TD best dishes, and that they were, the best. The portions were large which made it worth the price. We even had enough to take home and enjoy the next day. The only minor critique I would give was that the music was very loud and not so romantic. I felt the restaurant was very authentically Italian except the music. The music made me feel like I was back in Miami. Other than that the overall experience was incredible one of the best I ever had.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to try Toscana Divino in Brickell! What a neighborhood treasure. I'm usually never in the mood for Italian, but my friends and I stopped in for dinner the other night and I'm so glad I tried this one! The restaurant has outdoor seating that looks very cozy but we opted in to sit inside which has a great modern vibe with a gorgeous bar and a glass wine room right smack in the center of the restaurant. The manager/owners were very welcoming and introducing us to the concept, which is a true Tuscan experience besides the food that they source but to Tuscan items they sell like olive oils, beautiful glassware, and snake purses. Speaking of the menu, we opted in for a tasting menu and everything was absolutely delicious!! We tried 3 different pastas (all handmade and individually decadent), some simple sides whose flavor profile were spot on (grilled octopus, artichoke, etc), to some asian-style dishes the chef made (off the menu) of salmon rolls stuffed with crab and garnished with caviar, thinly sliced hamachi w/ soi truffle vinaigrette, crudo branzino w/ arrabbiata and finished off with their Tuscan porterhouse 42oz steak. 'Das right! Fabulous food, great bar, awesome vibe, fantastic owners - a great dining experience - you won't regret giving this place a try. For us, we can't wait to go back and try their happy hour specials, intimate cooking classes and rumor has it they have a killer brunch.

Great miami spice menu! It's a pricey place. Service excellent. Food excellent. Best italian restauarant we have been to in s very long time especially in miami. Noise level good and festive. There was no overhead music like previous review said. We will be back. Excellent find!!!!

This restaurant is one of the best in Miami! From excellent service, to a sexy ambiance, beautiful food presentation, & exploding flavors combinations, everything is wonderful. I have been here three times now, & had very memorable experiences.

Best pappardelles ever. Amazing staff and great location.

Mediocre food with mediocre service. . 2 stars went to the ambiance and decor.... everything else was horrible. .will never pay money like that for overcooked octopus, bland pasta ravioli and tuna again... shocked at how expensive the bill was considering the food and service was crap..... will never go back. ..

Toscana's location in the center of Mary Brickell makes it the perfect location for brunch. The ambiance inside is trendy, the walls are covered with high end purses. I prefer sitting at the outdoor tables, situated at the very front of the Village, to people watch. I had the Bruschetta all'Uovo, scrambled Eggs, Prosciutto di Parma, and bruschetta. The portions were large and they did not skimp on the prosciutto. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and was satisfied with the price, $12. Their brunch allows you to add unlimited mimosas for $20. The average cost of a drink is $10-$12 so the $20 deal is worth it if you plan to have more than one. I was very excited about this option, but was disappointed when I found out they were premixed. I was still sober after 6 mimosas. On a good note, the orange juice they use for the mimosas was freshly squeezed to perfection. The service was great and so was the food. I will be back, hoping to find mimosas mixed at the table.

In for a 5 day trip from Chicago and we are loving the Brickell area. And Toscana was a nice experience. Sitting outside, the place is lively, comfortable, great for people watching and our waiter, Christian, was just a wonderful guy---sharp, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The pasta was very good as was the wine. We'll be back!
(4)Luis E.
Nice location, good wine selection, great taste! Prices are steep, specially for the pastas which are also somewhat small. However, this is all offset by the flavor. This is simply some of the best italian food out there... almost worth the price of admission. BTW... I went there for dinner, so can only talk about their dinner offerings. Location is good, service was VERY good and the food... as I already said, topnotch. Everything we ordered was great.

We came here for Miami Spice for a pre-fixed 3 course meal. First of all, the atmosphere is really nice and classy. The service was good, even though the place was packed for a Saturday night. The meal started off with some amazing Prosciutto. Then the course that I am still salivating over, the tartar of hamachi! I don't know what they did to that fish, but it was amazing. The flavor, the texture, and the freshness was out of bounds. The main meal was a nice pappardelle pasta covered with a pork shoulder ragu. Dessert was a nice biscuit with ice cream and hot coffee poured over it. Perfect end to a great night. I will have to come back for the maccheroni covered in braised beef shoulder.

Last night was my one year anniversary with the boyfriend and we went out to celebrate. We choose this place because it was a new experience for us. To start off we had a great waiter, he was very attentive. Since I worked in the hospitality business, service is something very important to me and that was something that won me over. For the appetizer we had mullet (which i personally fell in love with) and bruschetta. For the main course I had a seafood pasta which consisted of clams, shrimp, and calamari and my boyfriend had a 14 oz steak. My plate was a little salty for some reason but besides that it was delicious and my boyfriends asked for medium-rare steak and he got rare. The waiter send the steak back but since he has already cut it to see how well it was cooked the steak came back VERY CHEWY. We also had there roasted potatoes and there veggies which were the BEST. We skipped on desert but over all had a great time.
(3)Wilfredo D.
I found this place to be very overpriced. Food portions are tiny and aren't anything special worth visiting. We will definitely not be going back. The only aspect they have right is their service and risotto was good but not great. There are many other options in the area with way better food such as Cipriani Brickell or Spaghettino Brickell. Save your money and skip this place onto the next option for your evening or day.

Beyond Delicious!!!! To my humble opinion the best restaurant in Brickell so far and puts some Miami Italian restaurant to shame. It as an amazing location, very vibrant, the heart of Mary Brickell Village. The ambiance is wonderful. The restaurant deco is somewhat an elegant boutique look. Selling very high end Italian Handbags. So I came in to dinner the day of my Birthday, it was about 3 weeks ago. I was not very hungry but let me just say the food was incredible. Prices are right because is totally worth it. The braised octopus is slap your momma, fabulous!!!! So So So good and sexy! yes real food porn. I was there is a friend and we choose to share the osso bucco with a orange, basil parm risotto. Couldn't ask for more my favorite Italian meal on my birthday!! No words to explain how good everything. For dessert I had an absolutely fantastic bread pudding with a coffee ice cream. It was on the Miami Spice menu but the server when out of his way for me to have it. I was very pleased and good job to the pastry chef because it was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Barolo and Super Tuscan by the glass? Hook me up. Great wine list. The service was spotty at the bar, but they were busy. Overall the bartenders were nice. I tried some passed appetizers and they were decent. I would come back here for dinner or brunch sometime. Nice venue as well, with a good location and discounted valet parking.

Master of Ceremony Mauro Bortignon, make your experience at this downtown hidden gem a MUST try - from palate pleaser to wine lover. this exquisite Tutto Italiano brasserie serves excellent italian fare with a cool and Chic but not pretentious service and a great series of antipasti to chose from that will awaken all of your senses. the wine program is well executed, it misses some old world italian selection but over all a good value for wine lover. Def a Must. excellent dessert and after dinner drinks.

Every time I have walked by Toscana Divino I have always noticed a large crowd outdoors in the front of the restaurant. I just assumed that was the place to be. Upon entering the restaurant I was so surprised at how trendy, cool, elegant the space was. They even have a wine cellar on display. The wine was delicious and if I am having Italian it is always my preferred drink! I tried the tortellini and the rigatoni and both were so fresh and flavorful. The staff is incredible and extremely pleasant and helpful. I will be returning very soon to try out some more menu items!

We came here on Sat 8/3 for the Miami Spice menu offering. Toscana Divino is located in downtown, in the Mary Brickell Village, same place where you find Fado, Blue Martinti and other places. The restaurant is elegant, the service attentive and our waiter (Chris) was very nice and did a great job all night. For the Miami Spice menu we had: appetizers TARTARE DI RICCIOLA Tartar made with a fish called hamachi, and it was very tasty and at the same time delicate. My wife loved it and I tasted it and found it very interesting. I liked the balance of flavors. PAPPA AL POMODORO BURRATA It's a tomato soup but kicked up notch, to say it Emeril's style. Fresh with basil for a herby touch, creamy thanks to the burrata; I'd say, for a tomato soup it was pretty good and nice idea if you want to start with something on the light side. entrees BACCALÀ This was my wife's choice and it turned out okay. Now, the "okay" factor is probably due to the fact that my wife and I are Italians, and from the north-east of Italy meaning we know baccala'. Now, the fish was the right one to make baccala', cod, but it wasn't baccala'. Don't get me wrong, the dish was fine, tasty, but it just wasn't made baccala' style, which is understandable because it is a very long process. Anyway, the result was good. MACCHERONI SUGO TOSCANA And I went with the maccheroni choice. And I was happy about it. Portion on the smaller side for American standard (I was totally fine with it) and I liked this dish, especially the ragu made with beef shoulder in red wine, which had a nice and rich substance anf flavor. Loved it. desserts AFFOGATO AL CAFE Nice way to end dinner, I loved the taste of this dessert, smooth, perfect. PANNA COTTA DI ANANAS E MIELE BIO Well, this was the weak link of the dinner. Just bland, the panna cotta lacking richness and being too prudent flavor-wise. Not bad, but I won't write home about it. WINE You look at the wine of Toscana Divino and you might feel like fainting by looking at all those three-digit prices. However, I'll take care of you and tell you that for $ 50.00 you can have a great bottle of wine, which I had and enjoy thoroughly. The wine is the Montepulciano D'abruzzo, Spelt , La Valentina 2008. This is a very bold red that feasts with red meat and might be a little too assertive over light fish and seafood dishes. I liked Montepulciano wines a lot, but never had this one and it was a great find and considering the restaurant, the location and the dinner, the price tag wasn't bad at all! All in all, we will go back to Toscana Divino, now that we tried it. I liked the location as there is plenty to do before and after dinner, I liked the restaurant, clean, elegant, but not snobby, the service was top notch (thanks Chris, great job) and the food was very good, just like the wine.

Went here for Sunday brunch, sat outside for prime people watching, since it's in this little mall area. Delightful all around. It is pricey, but what I ate was delicious. The boys I was with both ordered scrambled eggs and prosciutto, and they both had happy little meat eater faces on. I went with pasta - nice simple spaghetti pomodoro mozzarella. Beyond delicious. Service was spot on. She was very attentive without being obtrusive. One person in our party ordered the bottomless mimosas ($20! Steal!) and was very clear on his intent to get drunk, so she was constantly watching his glass to see if it was near empty. When she brought the check over, she topped him off one more time. Would like to see a couple more vegetarian options in the breakfast section of the brunch menu, but the pasta was delightful. Plus they were playing Underworld (nice and softly) as background music, so I was in a happy place. Best meal that we had in Miami!

Mothers Day what a way to celebrate@ Toscana Divino with bottomless mimosas.....Outside seating to watch the Brickell elite jet set is where we like too sit front row .People watching in Miami can be a sport you never know who or what you will see...... inside Toscana they have built a beautiful restaurant with a Glass bar , a huge Glass wine cooler surrounded by black glass tables ..Hand made purses from Florence ITaly decorate the shelves .This is a very special Italian restaurant ....... my 3rd time dinning...everything is ORGANIC they use the highest quality meats in addition too the HOMEMADE PASTAS..they do not cut corners here.....,this is not a hit or miss restaurant...... no misses on this menu. ... .I`m so sick of the same old menu at every Italian place same ole champagne cream sauces and the same boring sloppy food presentations .......................... I`M over it... My spouse has been a concierge 11yrs and Ive been around .....Toscana is in a way cutting edge.... ..Our selections were all delicious. A MUST have is the blanched SHRIMP CEVICHE with honey citrus with chick peas and onion... just AWESOME .... Musically think Dean Martins, Ain't that a kick in the head song, also Too paraphrase it after trying this tune, " My head keeps spinning, if this is just the beginning, my life is gonna be beautiful" . ... its that well written n sung......this dish is one of my favorite ceviche`s of all time . Our next symphonic movement played by the maestro chef Julian was the Pappardelle with sausage fennel, salt, and pepper rague sauteed in white wine topped with pecorino cheese. Think soft subtle movements from ANDREA BOCELLI ,CON TE PARTIRO or in english " time too say good bye" The PICI SENSI hand rolled spaghetti with a tomatoe duck rague topped with pecorino cheese was cooked to perfection A MUST HAVE . Once again think Bocelli` s song ," Nessun Dorma . " ... I really cant make up my mind which pasta dish was better ! and that`s a good thing....Bocelli is from Florence Italy so seems fitting... The potatoe .Gnoochi was our next choice. The contrasts in flavors worked perfect together. cubed butternut squash, sauteed crunchy pancetta, sage, then topped with a small mnt of ricotta cheese on a bed of pumpkin, butternut squash puree ,more please! I`m Thinking any sweet and smooth songs from Tony Bennett , Maybe," fly me too the moon !. For our side dish we tried the cauliflower its sauteed w / roasted pine nuts, white raisins, bread crumbs,& fennel seeds. I`ve Conspire too hear Dean Martine `s song, " Memories are made of this "... Our desert : chocolate and cherry tart with an apple, pear puree and scoop of ice cream nice ending to an amazing Florentine/shire meal.... Thanx Sebastian and Pamela and staff for ur excellent service.

Let me start off by saying... FANTASTIC FOOD! Chef Julian is pretty awesome and when he is not there Chef Jeff does just as good of a job. their pasta is fantastic and zane behind the bar can make you really well made drinks. I really enjoy the crab pasta and the duck one... i think its called pici. Overall I have a great time every time and it shows because I am there as much as I can be.
(5)Kyle B.
Absolutely divine. I ate at the bar (I was dining alone) and ended up ordering based on the recommendations of the bartender, Francesco. Definitely on the pricy side since I had several drinks along with my appetizer and entree, but one of the most enjoyable meals I've had to date.

I decided to head down to the Brickell area and I saw a new Italian place. It looked cute so why not. The atmosphere of the place is contagious. Its live with a sense of chill. If you sit outside you her music (salsa)and enjoy the music while hanging with friends. However, once you walk in the door it is quiet and relaxed more intimate. You can sit and enjoy a meal and hear your self talk. I tried the beef ragout pasta. It was excellent. I feel in love once the pasta hit my tongue. The dish is super simple but nice. The beef is shredded beef. It reminded me of a really good version of pulled pork but its beef( And who does like a good pulled pork). I also had the polenta with mussels as an appetizer. I am a fan of anything that has grits/ polenta involved. This does not disappoint. I also tasted some of my friends veal cheek. This piece of meat was so tender It just feel apart. The flavor is not overwhelming strong but distinct. Lastly, I had the dessert. I tried the ricotta ice cream which is right on point. I had never had that before but will definitely put that on the list of must haves if you are a fan of ricotta. I tasted the tiramisu. Wasn't sweet enough for me but the whipped cream was good.. Finish my meal off with a cup of chamomile tea( they had the little flowers and leaves). it comes in table brewer which is really cute. The cup could be bigger but they will refill you. All in all a great meal.
(5)Mindy G.
The gnocchi was exquisite, the flavors were subtle but delicious. The hamachi was very fresh and paired well with truffle oil and parmesan shavings. The the tuna tartar was well received at the table, a little too spicy for my liking. We tried all three fish on the menu, the Branzino and striped bass were very light and fresh, all excellent choices. We had every dessert on the menu , the cookie (?)was the most well liked. All the wine was great and well paired with the food. Mauro was a great host along with the rest of the waitstaff. Thanks for a great experience!

Restaurants are like real estate ... well, not exactly the location, location, location! mantra, but Location + Food + Service divided by cost = rating. This place got all three (5*) but a bit expensive (-1*). But let's go to the details: - service was excellent. It started with the hostess: she greeted us with a ginourmeous smile, and took us to an outside table while we waited for our other guests to arrive. When they arrived (a bit late) the hostess seated us quickly. Smile, smile all the time. Same with the waiter. I felt he was so happy to have us as customers that I had to slap him a couple of times to calm him down! - food: exquisite, different, tasty. - great wine selection, affordable (if you drive a Lambo.. just kidding) - excellent deserts (calories = happiness here) - did I mention the service? Here's what we ordered and I highly recomend: - Appetizers: the Smoked Duck Prosciutto, Burrata, calamari - Main dish: Taglierini ai Frutti di Mare, Gamberoni, Baccalà al Burro Nero, Pesce Spada - desert: don't remember! Was I that drunk after 3 Sauvignon Blancs? But it was good, that much I remember, seriously. The location (Mary Brickell Village) is great, lot's of people watching. Hot. To finalize, my index ratings: a) TTI, ROI (Tourist Trap Index, Rip Off Index): Low b) STTM (Suggestion To The Manager): Keep up with the smiles, I love to be "valued". Cheers!

I need to separate out my review into two parts. So let's begin...at the beginning! Part One: We decided to try this place after hearing it was the latest swanky restaurant in the Brickell area and as I was looking to reunite with some high school friends, I agreed since it looked nice online. We arrived with an 8pm reservation on a Friday night and the place wasn't very busy, so we easily sat down with quick service from an attentive waiter to start. The menu is just the right size, with enough choices to please a few pallets. Two of my friends ordered the Branzino Sea Bass appetizer, I ordered the Mozzarella di Bufala and we ordered a round of cocktails. I had the tequila and sage concoction that was delicious! Tequila and sage? Who knew?! WOW! Dinner arrived quickly as well with a few pasta dishes being served. I ordered the Pappardelle alla Finocchiona. The food was excellent! Flavorful and beautifully prepared. And the best part? It was just the right amount of food! I was able to finish my plate and NOT feel full or like I'd just consumed 10 pounds of pasta! We were all in agreement that our meals were excellent. So based on that alone, I'd give this place 4 stars. But I wish that's where my review ended... Part Two: The Check Our ever so attentive waiter delivers the check. We had a table of 5 so 3 credit cards came out and two of us put in cash. The two of us that put in cash each owed $80 each and thus put that in totaling $160.00 in cash. I gave a $50 dollar bill, a $20 and a $10. My friend gave $80 in 20 dollar bills. A few minutes later we got our check and I noticed that we were only credited for putting in $130.00 in cash, alas being short $30 which he had added on to the credit card bills. When we went to argue the point, the waiter said he didn't get a $50 from me but only a $20 dollar bill. I was not at all intoxicated and knew FULL WELL what I had in my purse as I recall getting a $50 from the bank and thinking, well now I can use up this $50 here. When we continued to ask him to recheck his pockets and his register, he then quickly gave us $30 saying he didn't want to get fired over this. Everyone was now very uncomfortable in the situation as I knew that I had given a $50 dollar bill. He then said he only got 4 $50's from another table and not from me but he'd let it go. That only made us more uncomfortable. At that point, he should have brought in his manager and recalculated his drawer etc as opposed to getting all nervous and standing around watching our table. We quickly left but it really left a bad taste in everyone's mouth after having such a wonderful meal. What a shame cause I would have rated this place much higher if the check had been handled more professionally.
(2)Kelly R.
I want to give them a five, because service was great, but our waiter was a little too busy up selling. He somehow talked me into a $45 risotto. He made it sound like it would be a small portion and half the price. He also misunderstood my friend at the table and did not realize she wanted to share a 16 oz steak. Who eats a 16 oz steak alone? Overall the food was delicious. Here in San Diego we are spoiled with many amazing Italian restaurants for half the price. So, if you are ok with spending upwards of $30/plate a la carte then you will enjoy it.
(4)Samantha P.
Went here for dinner last night. It's been awhile since I've eaten here. The bar was packed for happy hour. We were seated quickly which was great. We started with a charcuterie board of salami, buffalo mozzarella and pecorino as well as the fried calamari. The fried calamari to our disappoint was only 5-6 pieces. I was with a party of 5 so we were each only able to get one bite. I ordered the special: lamb loin with fingerling potatoes on top of a celery root purée which was awesome. The last time I was there the roasted chicken dish actually served a whole breast. When my friends dish came it was 2 strips of chicken so about a 1/3 of a whole breast. Don't advertise chicken breast unless you're going to serve a whole chicken breast. The food is really good but portions are tiny for the price.
(4)Mitchell M.
Would actually rate the restaurant 4.5 stars. Ate lunch here starting off with their Tuscan vegetable soup which was outstanding. Then had by far the best burrata with tomatoes that I ever had. As my main course had pappardelle with tomatoes and fresh mozzarella which was very good.
(4)Vivianne M.
Toscana never disappoints! Always consistent with their dishes and service. The lamb is incredibly big and juicy. The pastas are incredibly tasty. The ambiance is just perfect. They sell purses inside? In case you are in desperate need of a bigger bolder bag. Tosacanas got it.
(5)EliMelinda M.
This place is pretty good. Sad to say I didn't love it considering what the price point was. It's a great place for a first date, but all in all I didn't love it. They are slightly over priced for mediocre Italian cooking. Again, wasn't bad just average.
(3)Danny B.
Great location and ambiance. Sat outside on a perfect night and I would have been satisfied with a glass of wine and that's it. So we decided to order food and that's where it failed... Ordered the Branzino which was a very small portion and not appealing at all. The Burrata appetizer was ok as we'll as the ceviche. But not worth the price. I'll try it again and go for the pasta... This was just after opening. Hope it gets better.
(2)James I.
If you want red sauce, take your simple palate somewhere else. If you know good Italian you will be happy here. I fear Italian food in Miami, generally. It Ives me peace of mind to know that I can come here and wash away the bad memories of typical Miami Italian. Pasta is fresh and made on premises. Meats are cooked to perfection. Flavors are blended, not thrown together. You can ask questions of the staff and they will steer you right, even if you order wine by the glass. And the Zuppa Inglesa -- more please!
(5)Alfredo D.
I came here with very low expectations. In fact i reluctantly went because I've more or less given up on trying to find Italian food in the US. Another Americanized Italian restaurant with fettuccine Alfredo is what I was expecting. I was very wrong. Very. What an incredible surprise. The food was simply delicious and the service fantastic. How they pull this stunt off is incredible. To try to replicate tastes where everything has to be homogenized, pasteurized and sterilized is a feat that I appreciate. The restaurant was completely full with some large groups. These waiters were on the ball and smiling the whole time. A friend and I went for the bistecca alla Fiorentina which comes with many delights including Parma ham, a perfect mushroom risotto, pasta, mashed potatoes.... Simply incredible. The bistecca? Oh my. They can't bring the Italian beef but what they found here is indescribable. Cooked to perfection - and I mean perfection - carved table side, served beautifully and... The taste, the silky texture... Excuse me while I salivate as I write this... Simply put: wow. I need to go back (yes, need) and make sure I'm very hungry. I'm not in the food business nor was I ever a waiter. I respect the profession of waiting tables as one of the hardest jobs one can work in. I just wanted to add that I appreciate very much when despite all the chaos of a restaurant operation, they manage to make you feel well tended to. This they did flawlessly. I could go on. Dining at Toscana Divino was not eating, it was an experience.
(5)Joe P.
You need to check out the Happy Hour. The staff is friendly and energetic. I love to grab a drink with friends. The food is excellent and fresh. Some of my favorites are the chicken, spaghetti, and another else recommended.
(5)Adam Y.
We all agreed the food was excellent! The decor inside is great and Mary Brickell has become a great place to hang out for an evening. In Italy they call what we call pasta sauce, gravy. The gravy on the pasta was very well done. The pasta had basil, buffalo mozzarella and of course the gravy. We also shared a buffalo mozzarella with tomato, basil and olive oil. Both tasted very good. The inside looks great, they have a floor to ceiling glass wine rack which really adds a cool look to the interior. One of my issues was the lack of wine knowledge from the bartender in the afternoon. She didn't know the difference between white or red and had no knowledge of the list itself. The list wine was ok, somewhat limited on the sparkling wine selections and focused almost exclusively on Italian wines which is fine if someone can lead you in the right direction.
(3)Randi B.
Friday my boyfriend and I introduced Toscana Divino to a few of our out-of-town friends. All 4 of us absolutely loved our meals and the dining experience was very enjoyable! The pumpkin gnocci, & beef bolognese pasta is to die for!! My girlfriend orderd a truffle dish that was outstanding as well!! We had a great bottle of wine that was about $55... a little pricey though. I recommend Toscana Divino to anyone that enjoys amazing Italian cuisine!! Thank You, Randi
(5)Scott M.
This is my newest favorite spot in Brickell. The service is impeccable. The food is out of this world. And the wine selection is outstanding. But be ready to spend some $$$. All in all worth it though.
(4)Juan S.
3.5 stars Food was very good, although portions are a little on the smallish side. Service was above average. Waitress was informed, friendly but a little difficult to understand. Busser service was excellent. Management did stop by the table; however, I felt it was rushed and insincere. Atmosphere was nice, albeit a little on the loud side. (Booming noise coming from Blue Martini and Taverna Opa right above the restaurant) This is the nicest restaurant in Mary Brickell Village and adds to a slew of Italian restaurants in the immediate Brickell area (Perricones, Tutto Pasta, Rosinellla, etc.) I think it's a good choice for Italian but still prefer Il Gabbiano, Perricones and Fratelli Milano for Italian. Update 3/28/13:**** Back again, still a very nice dining experience. Overall, this place is great, but the portions are a bit small and prices are on the high side. Better value for your money at other Italian restaurants around town.

I've been here twice now for middle of the week Happy Hours. Happy Hour runs from 3:30 - 8:00 daily (1 1/2 hours longer than most places) in a beautiful outdoor dining area with a large seating capacitiy, offers a bunch of various drink options at a reduced price, AND includes free hors d' oeuvres which are passed around on platters periodically (things like bruschetta, mini ham and cheese sandwiches - our fave of the freebies, and endives topped with shrimp). The happy hour menu also boasts comlimentary marinated olives and spicy popcorn. We did not receive these on either visit though, even after requesting them. Service has been a little spotty. Awful on our first visit but fine on our second. We've tried the Bar Tagliere (cheese board consisting of salame, prosciutto and bufala mozarella) and the bruschetta con ricotta, which wasn't awful but something I wouldn't order again. We found a great deal through Gilt not too long ago and are looking foward to coming back for dinner in the near future.

Okay, I went back for a late lunch and now strongly feel that Toscana Divino has redeemed itself. Aside from having to fetch our own olive oil for the bread, everything was great--the food, the service, the comfortable outdoor seating. I still hate hate hate the automatic gratuity but this is unfortunately becoming increasingly common in Miami and I have a feeling it's going to become the norm sooner than later. So I grudgingly deal with it. I had the spaghetti again and it was perfect, again. My companion had the gnocchi with rabbit which wasn't really great for a hot day--too buttery and stew-like--but was overall a well-balanced and tasty dish. We split the bufala--fantastic--and a tapas-sized contadino salad, which was also fantastic and a vast improvement on the shoe leather uncooked baby artichokes that so ruined my experience last time. The house prosecco was perfect, the cappuccinos were perfect, and the panna cotta was fantastic even if it was, we felt, garnished with way too much (admittedly delicious) raspberry sauce. Overall this place delivers a solid, authentic Italian meal at reasonable prices in a great location. The service is still a little rough around the edges--maybe because with the forced "gratuity", they know they don't really have to try?--but the other positives outweigh this. I'll be returning for sure.

Why is this food SOOOOOO good but I am forcing myself to give this establishment three stars? I want to give it five stars soo badly but I cannot. So my fiance was showing his friends from Russia, Mary Brickell Village. They stopped at Toscana Divino for drinks. After having drinks for hours (they had free whiskey tasting and wine as well) I was invited for dinner. So they were sitting at a high-top outside which did not have much room to eat but they did not have any tables available and we just said that our table would suffice. The server said that they don't usually let people order outside other than bar bites but the management would make an exception for us because they had ordered so many drinks. So the last time we were here there was spaghetti on the menu and so I ordered that with a mixed salad. My fiance ordered the cod. His friends also ordered food (can't remember what). I also ordered a glass of the Barolo wine. Ok, the wine almost knocked me over. I was in a mild state of ecstasy. I seriously took a picture of the name and will definitely be buying bottles of this wine as I loooove wine and can honestly say this was one of the best wines I have ever drank in my entire life (at $19 a glass and the most expensive on the menu, that better be the case). Now onto the food, so I told the server that I did not see the spaghetti on the menu but we had it before so just to put in the order. She stated that we had to point to something for her to write it down. We couldn't just tell her hey I will have the cod, no we literally had to point it out on the menu. Are we dining at chuckie cheese? I don't understand why if you at a server and paid to take orders whether it be wine or food, you can't simply take orders and write them down of people just saying what they want. I have never had to point out what I wanted on the menu at any restaurant unless the server doesn't speak English (russian restaurants that we dine at). She came back and said that they don't have spaghetti. I asked what other pasta they have and if they could make it with a pomodoro sauce or what other things I could order for pasta? she pointed to a dish and said well you could order this one... It was cauliflower. Really? cauliflower is pasta? hmm. I said that's cauliflower and she said "oh yeah that's a vegetable" everyone was laughing. I felt bad for her, honestly. What can ya do? I ordered the jumbo shrimp and then she brought it but no salad. I said can you bring the salad? And she said oh I didn't think you still wanted that. ooook...finally she brought the salad and then forgot my friends artichokes. So then they had to get those. The food was really really good. The dessert was ammmmmmmmazing we had the chocolate tart. Wow wow wow. We will be going there as our new dessert spot special for that dish! Everything tasted sooo good but when the service is THAT bad, there is no way that a group of 4 can successfully enjoy dinner, you know? It ruins the whole ambiance and mood. All they need to do is hire a top of the line staff and this restaurant will be AMAZING. The food is really something but don't count on having good service. It doesn't exist.

Nothing special in this place, prices are average on the upper side, but food is not worth it. I highly recommend other places
(2)Precious T.
Service sucked!!! We waited for about 15mins to be seated...another 10mins for waiter to come check on us and take our orders....15 mins go by and drinks still have not arrived...another waiter comes over, tells us they had a computer glitch and that he needs to take our orders again....another 15 mins goes by and we STILL have not gotten our drinks....we finally said we're leaving after waiting for almost an hour just to get a drink.... I don't understand how these people expect us to come back to their establishment with this type of service!!! You are in the service industry...provide it!!! Wth?

Came here per concierge at the Four Season's suggestion while in town for work. My grandfather was joining me and I wanted a place that was not too loud and had healthy options, and we walked out very pleased. The highlights were the mains so I will go there. Grandpa had the grilled shrimp, which were large, juicy and served butterflied. They were closer to size of an arragosta. I ate the Bronzino which came with a tomato caponata beneath the fish, and was served with white beans. Really delicious, I ate everything on my plate. My grandpa asked for a tomato and onion salad (like the ones served at steak houses) which wasn't on the menu, and they were happy to oblige and prepare just as he asked. The scene by the bar was bustling. Our waiter was kind. There were a ton of other foodie-pleasing items on the menu.

Very good calamari and the octopus wow ! A must have is the antipasti of cheeses and meats , Great service . Great vibe on a Tuesday night Eduardo was my server !! He was great !

Absolutely Excellent! Perfect Italian meal complimented with great service and lovely ambiance.

Hooray for fresh pastas! I came to Toscana Divino with a friend on a Saturday night with a reservation. The restaurant was busy and we were seated promptly at a table outside. We had an excellent meal here. You can tell that this is a new restaurant and they're still fine-tuning service, but service was still good. Our waitress was super nice. The Pappa al Pomodoro soup was my favorite... You can put a poached egg in anything and I'll adore it. We also ordered the Pappardelle all a Finocchiona, Risotto al Funghi, and the Pici Senesi pasta (Yes, I know, a lot of carbs). My friend is a bit of a risotto snob and she loved the risotto here. You can tell that the pastas are homemade here because it's light and delicate. I also liked that the pasta dishes were lightly sauced, which allows the pastas to rightfully shine. The menu presents a good selection of options, all of which look appetizing. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes!

Great food, nice ambiance and happy hr lasts til 8!
(4)David P.
Great happy hour! Wine is good as well as there authentic Italian cocktail. The bar bites at happy hour are great, really recommend the ricotta cheese type bruschetta, it was amazing as well as the mini burgers (had a sautéed pear that brought a different spin to it). Great nice place with very friendly and attentive staff.
(4)Pamela B.
Dinner was heavenly. Paparadel with sausage was delicious as was the Bronzino. The artichoke argula salad good and the twice cooked Tuscan soup terrific. The only criticism is several wait staff kept trying to pour my spouse's beer after he had repeatedly asked them not to do so. I still give it five stars, even though it is pretty expensive.
(5)Maris D.
I'm going generous on a 3 for atmosphere and location but the food was terrible!! My polenta was a grainy soup, the calamari was either not fresh or poor quality or both. The prices are ridiculous for the quality. You want Italian food? Go to Perricones or Fratelli Milano. I'll give them a happy hour stop-in and report back. That may be the kicker.
(3)Maya R.
It's nice to find a place in Brickell where you can comfortably sit outside and have drinks and appetizers. I've had Margarita's and unfortunately, not the best. But the prosciutto is the best prosciutto I have ever tasted and you just want to have more and more. My boyfriend and I have tried the bruscetta with ricotta and the bruschetta with fava beans and they compliment any meal or combination of appetizers nicely. The waitstaff so far has been great. I think they get a bit slowed down on Friday nights. The bathrooms are nice, modern, well-lit and clean. The stalls are green smoked glass, so if you for some odd reason turn your bare butt towards the door while you put yourself back together, everyone can see it, so be warned. I've been flashed every time!

Toscana is located in the heart of Mary brick ell village. They have some great outdoor seating, especially if you like to people watch and see all the traffic passing by. The bar inside is quite large and beautiful with an extensive wine display. I went there for a happy hour event and had a taste at some of their bar bites. I had the mozzarella and tomato skewers which were refreshing. I fell in love with the ricotta brushetta which is the Italian spin on bread and cream cheese, but as we know, the Italian spin is always better and the ricotta was creamy and fluffy. I had the original bruschetta which was alright, no different from any other and was in need of a sliver of some kind of cheese on top. Then the burger came, which was really a hand made meat ball topped with sauteed mushrooms and grilled pairs. It was cooked perfectly and very juicy. Then we had assorted meats and cheeses. Some prosciutto and manchego, always a hit in my book. What impressed me the most? The service!!! By far one of the best i had, and the owners came around to make sure all was well without a hitch. Tip: Have the prosecco, it's Italian champagne. So good!
(4)Joseph A.
Tried the pork chops and I was very satisfied. The paste had a homemade taste to it. Overall I willbe back
(4)Allie W.
Overrated and expensive. I got the pomodoro and mozzarella spaghetti. It wasn't that good, and it was like $16. Nice environment though.
(2)Alice C.
The service was bad. Waiter wasn't attentive to our table or knowledgeable about the menu. On top of that, the food was mediocre. The quality and execution were sub-par. I was very surprised to be so disappointed, but it really falls down from expectations. I hope people don't think organic/farm to table food tastes likes this because this is just a bad example of what it really is. Overall- Bad mediocre overpriced food :-(

This rivals any restaurant in Tuscany! Since I've spent so much of the past 20 years in Italy and have written about the incredible food of that country, I usually have to be dragged to Italian restaurants anywhere in the States. And so it was with very low expectations that I went to Toscana Divino last week. From our antipasto of imported meats and cheese (which have nothing at all to do with Boar's Head), the luscious Tuscan bread and tomato soup pappa al pomodoro, the equally famous Tuscan pasta called pici with ragu, and silky pasta pockets of tortelli stuffed with spinach and ricotta, to the zuppa inglese providing a beautiful ending, our meal was truly "divino". For me it's always all about the food, but Toscana Divino also provides a sophisticated, but not pretentious atmosphere and outstanding service, and that makes this restaurant the reason to go back to Miami.
(5)Charles W.
I've been here 4-5 times now, and every pasta I've tried always impresses me. The freshness is amazing and the sauces all have their own distinct flavor. The prices are reasonable for the quality you are getting. The service could be better, and if they fixed that, perhaps I'd give 5 stars. But if you are in the mood for pasta, you really can't find much better, and the appetizers are quite tasty as well.
(4)Omar H.
Fantastic charming spot... Great atmosphere, spot on cocktails, and fantastic staff! Veronica the hostess and Francesco the bartender made the night.
(5)Dan F.
This is great Italian food! I have been here at least five times since they have opened and I believe they keep getting better and better. The food is excellent, prices are right for the high quality, and the service is great! I recommend this place to anyone!
(5)Alex B.
Wow. Once again I've been impressed by an Italian restaurant in Miami, and once again it is the same one-- Toscana Divino. We have taken friends from around Miami as well as from other big cities in the U.S. and South America and all leave with the same impression. It is real regional Italian food with class and great service. We just got back from a dinner to celebrate our anniversary and it couldn't have been better. We finally tried the steak fiorentina and wow it tasted even better than I can describe in a short(ish) review. Let's just say better steak and ambiance than any steakhouse in town. Service is on point and management is great (thanks to a spectacular team that remembers its customers and most amazingly for Miami actually appreciates them). Silky setting with food and service to match. And also important it is not a new york outpost, it is a a Miami original so even more important to support!
(5)D. G.
Di$appointing. The food was ok, not good enough. The $ervice was ok. It was overpriced. Didn't like the handbag$ for $ale in the dinning room. They were playing awful, loud music. Tacky!
(2)Stephanie S.
Stopped in tonight for a little birthday date with my man. Our bartender was super attentive, the Chianti was great paired with the cheese plate. I love the interior, the bar is beautiful. The only thing it needs are some purse hooks. I'll be back.
(5)Teresa K.
We went here for a wine group event. They were offering a free prosecco cocktail or glass of wine as part of the event which was nice. Service at the bar was slow to catch on at the beginning of the night but they actually seemed to get a little better as it got busier. There were some passed finger foods that were tasty and made me want to try the food here some time.
(4)Maxine V.
I came for happy hour. The bartender, Luca, we very nice and efficient. Since it was happy hour I asked for a cabernet. He informed me that it was not part of the happy hour, so I asked about the red wine that was part of happy hour. He went to get a sample for me to try, but realized they were out so let me have the cab at happy hour price :). The place is nice on the inside. We did not eat dinner there so I am only rating on happy hour.
(4)Al A.
Service was extremely slow, felt as portions in comparison to price were inadequate. It felt as if the staff and management were still trying to figure out the restaurant as if it was the first day it was open. Won't be returning here for a meal anytime soon.
(1)Godofredo C.
It doesn't make sense. An anorexic model would leave the dinner hungry, even with a full dish. Overpriced, 15% gratuity + tip. A dinner trap with snob service. I live in Brickell and I never more have a dinner there (my dinner was on Nov 19 2012. It just looks nice.
(1)Diner M.
First time and everything was wonderful. Perfect service. Attentive but not overbearing. My husband had the Miami Spice with the venison appetizer and duck for main course. The duck, served with a watermelon slice was tender and flavorful. The arugula salad with white beans was excellent. The chocolate torte doe desert tasted as if it had just come from the oven. Highly recommend,
(4)matt l.
REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD! We ordered three tapas and split the portorhouse. It was as authentic Tuscan as you can get in Miami and the service was great! I fully recommend!
(4)Steve M.
Creative Italuan inspired menu. Everything was excellent with a twist. Octopus appetizer was warm, tender and balanced. Delicious ! Pasta was the best we've had. Swordfish was "like Buddah. " tender and perfectly cooked. Didn't miss chocolate tart dessert. Gourmet cooking. Excellent chef.
(4)Sabrina S.
You would love this place if you really appreciate authentic Italian food. Miami spice lunch critique... Appetizer: Tagliere Toscano (prosciutto w/ house made ricotta crostini) was delicious. Chianti crudo could have had more lemon. Entree: House made pappardelle w/ white pork was delicious. My friend loved her Cacciucco, but I don't like mussels so I didn't order. Dessert: Zuppa Inglese in Alkermes was fantastic! Burst of sweet flavors in your mouth, which included, limoncello, amaretto, and berries.

The food is great but I can't seem to give them higher then 3 stars due to their service. We made a reservation but we were seated outside due to no tables being available inside. The weather had not been great, raining on and off all day and they sat us underneath an umbrella where one of us was half covered and would get dripped on occaionally and of course because we are outside, we had to deal with the smokers. The waiters disappeared several times and the drinks miht have tasted great but not what we ordered. We ordered a lychee martini, the first time it was white in color (like it should be) but came with a lime garnish and tasted more like lime than a lychee. The second time we ordered it was pink in color and tasted like grapefruit with a lychee garnish?!?! We asked the waiter and he just came saying it was the samething eventhough we were showing him the white versus the pink. The food was great though...had the tapas so we could have more options...gnoochi, risotto, the romano cheese all delicious!
(3)Dustin G.
This place has a great atmosphere and the food is really good but the portions are too small. We ended up spending $90 for two drinks, one very small appetizer, and a medium sized plate of risotto. Our waiter, Chris, was very helpful and unusually attentive for a Miami server. He told us that all of the food is organic and much is brought directly from Italy but I still think they could enlarge the portions just a little considering the price.
(4)Svenja H.
Unbelievable! Amazing from when you sit down to fabulous wines and appetizers to the grappa afterdinner. The perfect place for a romantic nigth!
(5)Amanda F.
Toscano Divino was a great addition to mary brickell village. I've eaten there twice and had fantastic meals both times. The Tagliere menu has all the meats, cheeses and olives you could want. We've had chesses and olives and (pecorino and burrata) and the portions of cheese are HUGE. Tread lightly if you plan on ordering entrees. On to antipasti the calamari was very tender. We also enjoyed the tuna crudo and the Ceviche di Gamberi Rossi Toscano. The braised octopus was also perfectly tender but wasn't our favorite dish. There is a combination of traditional and modern main dishes. I liked that you can order many of them tapas style. We've tried the Tortelli with sage and brown butter, the Tuscan Beef Ragu, the Pappardelle with sausage and the Gnocchi. All of the pastas are fresh and homemade but the gnocchi is my favorite. This has won over as "best gnocchi" in my opinion (ousting the long closed Erba in lincoln square in Chicago). So light and melts in your mouth. We haven't tried some of the larger main dishes since we've been quite full from the starters. I may have to skip a cheese course next time so that I can try the veal or the other entrees. Wine is list had a lot of options - both italian and not - and there is also a decent cocktail menu.

It belongs in Miami. A true clash of concepts, an ode to high fashion and art in the middle of a nuevo Cocowalk. Hearty, rich Italian classics served in a glittering setting. The menu is easily one of my favorites in Miami with so many appealing choices. The mixed plate of meats and cheese was perfectly acceptable, but, then again the variation between the best prosciutto and store bought is not tremendous. We split the bruschetta with cannelini beans and it was rich, creamy and tasty. It was hard to portion as the bread is one large piece and I thought the olive oil was a bit strong, but these were minor complaints. The star was the gnocchi with braised rabbit and celery. The gnocchi were pillowy and absorbed the rich sauce. If I had a complaint was it was gone too fast. I sampled the spaghetti and it was a strong contender just a notch below Scarpetta's (in fairness it was just a bite a I would have to try a whole plate to confirm). Service was authentic (our server had helpful and strong opinions) and attentive. The setting and ambience was fantastic, but it was hard to ignore we were steps away from PF Changs. From my scan of the wine list, prices were higher than most, especially for bottles I would have drank. And, food prices are a bit high but match the quality. Highly recommended.

Visiting from LA we are not familiar with this area, but did not want to eat in a chain restaurant so chose here after looking around the little mall area. This was definitely an off peak time so the restaurant only had a few people. The service was fine - not great. The food for my hubby was ok - he complained about the small portions. But I have to rave about their version of the eggs Benedict. I forgot what they call it - but I highly recommend ( it is on their brunch menu). It was the best eggs Benedict I have ever had! A bit salty but otherwise the perfect balance of favors. So yummy I could have eaten two. When we are back in Miami, I will definitely seek that out again!
(4)MiaCritic C.
Good location, food and service. Had a bit of a so-so dinner service once, but I guess staff training in Mia restaurants tends to be inconsistent and good service depends on the individual. We've had newer wait staff a few times and in those cases, service was not great. Have been here serveral times for drinks, appetizers and dinner. Enjoyed all. Have mostly had starters (all of which are AMAZING) and the steak or fish. Overall a fan and would like to go back more often. Only downside is that it is a bit on the pricy side. Good for once in a while, but not every friday.
(4)David M.
I wish there was more Tuscan cuisine in Miami. We really enjoyed our dinner. The waiter let us enjoy the pace... a small plate to share about every half hour or so. As for the food it was a good performance. We especially enjoyed the polpetto in a puttanesca and the pici in a duck ragu. The veal cheeks were nice as well. Give the vino nobile di montepulciano a run...it's the inexpensive gem of the region and not many restaurants have it in our area.
(4)Cindy M.
One of the best dining experiences we have ever had-anywhere! Excellent food and superb service. Enticing cocktails. Now one of my favorite restaurants in Miami!
(5)Elisa M.
I came here for lunch with Miami spice, and left disappointed. The atmosphere and music of the restaurant was nice and romantic. My hb starter`s was so tiny that I felt ridiculous (tagliere), just a small rubbery bread with a few pieces of ham on the top. My starter was not bad (Panzarella salad) but most of the salad was bread croutons, and the vinegar was too strong. The main courses were good, black maccheroni and fish stew (cacciucco), but the mussels on the stew were not fresh and they tasted and smelles too strong. Both desserts had some alcohol in there, which I think is not good since some people might dislike or be unable to drink alcohol! The cantucci + vin sant were 3 tiny cookies and sweet wine, and the other dessert was a cup with a foam made with limoncello (liquor), fruits and milk. Overall, not the place to come with Miami spice since the portions they serve are too tiny for that price. Is not worth it!!
(2)Sean B.
Our first experience was disappointing. The steak was just OK, and the appetizers both oddly price inappropriate for their quality. Maybe it was just really bad luck, or maybe this is overrated, but across the board things were just OK. So why 3 stars? Because everyone deserves at least a second chance, and the owners clearly tried very hard to create a nice little gem in Mary Brickell Village, which immediately translates to us having to try this again. The service was very good, so at least that should compel the reader to at least try them out. S
(3)Hazel Z.
Did not like the place. The tables were very crammed. 2 tables were place right at the exit of the kitchen and the space to get in an out of the kitchen was very tight. unfortunately that is where we were sat because it was saturday and full. because of this my husband was hit in the head with a butcher block. the food was tasteless and very small plates for the prices. I was able to see the kitchen where I was at. there was a stand up fan facing a prep station which is a no no.... because you have all types of dust flying onto the food. then the same runner that just picked up dirty dishes from a table was in the kitchen cutting bread for service with his bare hands, no gloves. I will never go back to this place. resumen: tight space, bland food, no gloves worn by anyone!

Enjoyed a happy hour at this trendy Italian gem with a few regulars. Kicked off HH with an excellent variation of an Old Fashion. Such a delicious drink. A bit of sweet meets a bit of that 'Jack' hardness. Perfect. The nibs were spot on with the Truffle Ricotta, with Honey, Pepper and tasty crispy toast...couldnt stop eating the ricotta or any of the other bread lying around. It was that delicious! Also tried the Crispy Porchetta (Pork Belly) with Red Onion, Radish, Lemon Parmigiano, and Micro Herbs. The presentation was phenomenal. I loved the crispy-ness of the pork belly although it was a bit too fatty for me to fully enjoy. Would totally return to this spot and the trendy Brickell neighborhood.

This place is well located in Brickell... Nice ambiance and has inside and outside seating.. Managers and service was above average. Food, they really know what they are doing! Last night we had a new "plate" pisi with lamb. Maybe the best I've had in US!! Well balanced, homemade pasta.. We also had duck that was also cooked to perfection.. All in all this place is a must for anyone wanting to eat true Italian food. Their wine cellar is pretty good and their wine glasses are also quite nice! (Dont have to bring my own glasses!!). Try this one... Enjoy
(5)Sally R.
Great service, good happy hour, and delicious pasta! The bartenders are friendly and professional. Yuri and Douglas will really make the experience even better with their charisma and excellent customer service. Food is delicious. so far the sliders, the pizzetta and the duck ragu pasta are my favorites. Prices are average to the Brickell area. The bar area is fun and the restaurant inside is very nice and modern. The outside seating can be romantic at night with candle light and the water fountain near by. Everyone here is s friendly and nicely dressed. Definitely a place to try if you are in the village.

We ended up at Toscana Divino, because the reservation we had elsewhere was not honored. I was born in Italy and hate Italian restaurants because they are never the real thing so I avoid them, but we took a look at the menu and seemed very close to the original. The bread was excellent and the rest of the food tasted good too. So why a one-star review? Because we spent $126 before tip and we left hungry! My husband $23 past dish was only 5 small ravioli and my octopus salad was a joke: I stuck my fork in it and all came up at once. And the octopus? Just a couple of slivers to justify the name. The place is nice and the service good, although slow, but Toscana Divino is a rip off.
(1)Uni C.
Happy Hour prices and menu are fair but it's till 8pm so definitely extra bonus points there! Service at the bar was okay... He was the only bar tender. Food came out very quickly compared to the wait for a menu. Overall, we had a good time. The ambiance is a nice mix of modern Italian and Miami Brickell flair. Gets pretty packed on a Monday night. $5 for a glass of wine and $8 appetizers. Monday night cheers!
(4)Jon M.
Pretty average overall. The decor and ambiance is nice, and the drink I got was made extremely well. We had a large party so I expected a longer wait time, it took about an hour and a half, make of that what you will. With the prices they charge, you would expect a hell of a lot more than what they give you.

Okay so I went to Toscana Divino the other night I believe it was a wednesday night with a friend. I had heard a lot of good things from friends and some italian friends that I know. So I planned out a night with a friend and we wanted to have a full experience and check out this place. First, Location is great in Mary Brickell village there are tons of places to park and lots of shops to check out. We parked in the Garage behind the restaurant. The restaurant had a couple tables outside and bigger space inside. Very well Lit and very comfortable seating. We wanted to have some cocktails before we sat so we took a seat at the bar and Douglas was the bartender at the time. He really knows his drinks and puts care into them as I watched. Nicest bartender I think I've been served by. We asked him for a signature cocktail and told him to surprise us. He made us a tequila based- cocktail that had lime juice and jalapeño in it. I've never had a spicy drink and oh BOY! was it good. The he gave us a passion fruit cocktail (brazilian leblon rum, passion fruit puree, and peperonccino on top) DELICIOUS! While we sat at the bar we munched on green olives and fresh bread which was super yummy! First we had what is called "spiedino di carne e verdure" which was to die for. (seen in the images) We were having such a good time at the bar that we just stayed there and had dinner. Chef Billy was in the kitchen and he did not dissappoint. We first had Maccheroncino di mare. It was delicious it had calamari, octopus, i think scallops I usually don't like seafood in pasta but the taste was almost overwhelming! I will probably have that again! Then, We also tried the Pallard de Manzo which was topped with vegetables and crispy friend kale which was fun to eat. My friend and I shared everything and we we satisfied. My expectations were high and they surpassed them. The manager at the time was Gianina and she was very nice and helpful! The staff was fun too! the Wine cellar in the middle is so kool! I'm a photographer so I took the liberty and took some pictures. They didn't mind. I also found out from the manager that they reserve semi-private room named Florence which is a good idea for events! GREAT EXPERIENCE!
(5)Jeanette H.
Good vibe @Mary Brickell Village and was packed on a Friday night. Happy hours are limited just to the inside bar area, while outdoor dining is very nice. I only got to try small side dishes this time. Brussel Sprouts and Baby Vegetables were very good. Bellini is advertised as with fresh peach purée but it's actually a canned peach purée. Strawberry purée though is the real fresh purée. Great place to hang out.,
(3)Juan B.
The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and very well presented with arugula and small tomatoes. The fried cauliflower with yellow raisins was amazing. The tortellini with spinach, ricotta cheese, and butter Parmesan sauce was also very well done and delicious. The restaurant had a calm ambiance late afternoon on a Saturday, but seems like it becomes more of an adult crowd at night. The staff were courteous. The food was so delicious upon arrival I forgot to photograph it.

My friend and I went here for dinner earlier last week, as our pre-race meal (before the Miami Marathon & Half Marathon). We had made reservations, and were promptly shown to our table by the friendly hostess as soon as we arrived. The waitstaff too, were very friendly and generally chatty. To start, we ordered a portion of the calamari. The calamari was very different that we expected, and very fresh. A bit too "fishy" for me, but that's just my taste. As my entre, I had the pasta with the braised beef ragou. The entrees when they arrive, seem like they are very small portions. However, when you're done with them, it leaves you with that perfectly full feeling.. not too tfull, and not hungry.. just right! I forgot what pasta dish my friend ordered, but I remember him saying he liked it too :) For dessert, I had the chocolate crusted tart, which was really fantastic! Overall, although this restaurant appears like a fancy tourist trap in the middle of Mary Brickell Village, it really is a really good restaurant. I definitely recommend it! You should check it out!

The pici was the highlight of the place! Which is better than most I had in Tuscany (Italy) if you can believe that!! And I don't even like duck too much but this dish is a true Tuscan jewel in Miami! Must have! The rest of the stuff I tried was too salty (sage butter ricotta spinach tortellini and tomato bean soup with egg). But still pretty yummy. The place is beautiful but purses for sale on display inside the restaurant (really?) looks cheesy... The waiters are mostly italian, which is cool if you are trying to practice your language skills and they are cute too. I can see they are trying very hard to fit in American standards of good service. But they still need to work a bit harder. I know this is Miami and service is usually crap here even in expensive places. But nothing compare to the horrible service people are used to in Italy (lol). No major complaints about service tho. For example: I asked for a lime to go with my coke (5 times) and I finally got it after my coke was almost finished, but I did get it. Also when we ordered the soup the waiter asked (typical italian mentality lol) "are you sure you want soup? Weather is too hot. What about a salad instead"...hummmm bf and I looked at each other like "really?!" Lol!

Wonderful and authentic italian restaurant in amazing location. Both lobster linguine and swordfish were delicious. The home gelato made us feel like at home but try to keep some space for the apple cake as well. It's amazing!!!

The pranzino was excellent; portions were generous; the server was knowledgable, friendly and attentive. (Thank you Adrian) After having eaten at several Italian restaurants in Miami, Tuscan Divino is by far the best.

This is the place you want to go when you are on a special date and want amazing food and top notch service.. It's a very very veryyyy cool place. The menu is on point for those of you that actually know good food. This is not Olive Garden so if that what you think is Itallian food this place probably isn't for you... It's not cheap but it's also not cheap if you know what I mean... You want quality food and service, you have to pay for it and this is a place I don't mind spending at... The specialty drink menu is pretty awesome as well. go treat yourself to a nice meal and a nice dining experience overall. If you can handle it.. Lol.. ....

We were a party of about 30 celebrating a birthday dinner that was planned just 2 days prior. My family is crazy that way. The service was outstanding! They were all very attentive, fast, friendly, funny! Couldn't have asked for any better. The set menu consisted of steak, chicken, or fish which comes with same pasta and salad for everyone. Good bread too. All this includes all you can drink prosecco or wine or sangria. The prosecco is the reason why k can't remember more. Oh, yeah, before they serve dinner they were serving us fried artichoke thingies,.prosciutto, salami, cheese, oysters, bruschetta, I can't remember what else. The prosciutto was really good. We had a great time there. The steak was delicious. We brought our own cake so I don't know about dessert. They have valet or garage or meter parking. Go check them out!!!

I'm not a big fan of Italian food and for the most part I avoid any restaurant that has anything to do with "Italian". Yet, after a close friend insisting that I give this restaurant I try I finally succumbed. And thank god that I did. The food here is beyond amazing. It is fresh, unique, not overly seasoned and the service is insanely attentive to every customer. I got some gnoccis in a pear sauce and my boyfriend a papardelle with a meat sauce. Both were so good!! We went on an afternoon and ordered unlimited mimosas. The food was delicious, the drinks amazing, and the atmosphere was quaint and refreshing. Loved this place!!

THREE COINS IN THE FOUNTAIN Two individuals, namely Mauro Bortignon, GM and Julian Baker, Executive Chef delivers a powerful noble interpretation of italian cuisine and wines as if each morsel and sip is its ever lasting seve. If it's your first time I would highly recommend their most temptingly valued fixe prix lunches or dinners. The service is 100% Italiano with a romantic flair for Americans. Like the movie, I tossed my coin knowing that I'll be back.

Truly amazed! Impeccable service, outstanding food quality! Worth every penny. Very enjoyable music. Managers and owner stopped by to check on us. 5 starts is an understatement. Everyone should try this place!

For the best authentic Italian restaurant in SoFlo, come to Toscana! You won't be disappointed! Love all that they have to offer. My favs are the porterhouse steak meal with the potato purée/kale & the guanciale veal cheeks! Grab a bottle of their chianti wine & then settle down with some dessert and/or coffee! Their bar bites are tasty as well! Check them out!!

Toscano Divino. Friday night. Miami Spice. I haul ass all the way from my place of employment on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale to meet a good friend of mine for our monthly meetup of gossip, gab and grub. And, hey it's September, and you know what that means Miami. Tons of restaurants around with the now famous 3 course (or more in some cases) Miami Spice menu. Honestly, I had much higher hopes for Toscana Divino based on heavy review investigation I conducted on Yelp prior to making the decision to come here. The experience was just A-OK and here's why: Ambiance: Maybe it's old age kicking in, but the horrible house music booming through the overhead speakers in this place was just too damn loud and ended up really taking away from the experience. I quite literally had a sore throat from yelling across the small table at my friend the entire night. Service: OK, but could have been better. Spent most of the evening observing the ample wait staff yelling, screaming and running around when the restaurant wasn't busy yet. Moreover, much of this was happening right next to my table which was really distracting. Our waiter was pretty nice and attentive, but we couldn't tell if he was annoyed or not when he corrected my friend's pronunciation of the word "rabbit" in Italian (Coniglio) followed by what we thought was some eye-rolling. Food: The first course was pretty fabulous - a small dollop of burrata cheese atop a generous bed of prosciutto. Could have used a drizzle of olive oil, salt or cracked pepper. The plate was lazily garnished with four (yes, four) leaves of arugula. Second course was molto bene - mushroom risotto heavy with cream and truffle oil. Can't go wrong with that. I polished off the entire plate. My friend ordered the rabbit and was pleased, too, but her entree did not include a side dish apparently. Two small legs and breast of tender rabbit sat in a bowl with some creamy gravy but nothing else. I was very glad I didn't order it. Dessert was sort of weird - carrot cake with candied pancetta bacon bits and cream cheese ice cream. Being a lover of carrot cake, this was sadly not the grand finale I'd hoped for. I did enjoy the wine flight that I ordered which paired a prosecco, a white wine and a moscato with each course for an additional $19. Overall this place is just OK for me. Expect to spend a pretty penny if you aren't ordering from the Miami Spice menu. I will most definitely check out other places in the area for my next Italian food fix.

Booked with OpenTable and they took me right in. Service was very very attentive. Menu was quite entertaining and supported by the staff. Plates are a bit on the slim side. A $22 dish will not fill up anyone with any type of appetite. Portions could be better, but the flavor and texture of the food was spot on. They know al dente all right. Clams in my linguine were plentiful but wish the overall dish was heftier. My waiter Mr Rafael did me well.

Very good! A bit pricey, but worth it. Try the Pici Sensi and the Charcuterie is on point. Also a great location for some awesomr people watching in MBV.

Call me what you will but, a week in Tuscany spoils everything. Learning the about balsamic vinegar, olive oil, wine, pasta and its sauces have spoil every italian restaurant for me forever. Always checking for acidity levels in sauces, perfect cooked pasta, and ingredients list in the balsamic vinegar is no fun way to eat. Having said that, Toscana Divino nails it. Came here on a Saturday night with my fiancee. The place has a great outdoor seating area for a more casual dinning and the indoors, with tables perfectly spaced bettween each other, is great for a more intimate meal. With one look at the menu we were intrigued. The promise of a great meal stood right in front of us. And it did not disappoint. We started with drinks. I had the Aviatori, my fiancee had the Litchiy Rosa. Both well prepared. The Aviatori was dry as gin cocktails usually are, not overly sweet, well balance. The Litchi Rosa was bright and sweet but not overpowering. We decided to skip the appetizers and go straight for the good stuff. We each got a plate of pasta and an entree to share. I had the Pici Senesi and she had the Beef Ragu. To share we decided for the Guanciale. Very few italian menus in this city have Pici on it. Pici is natural from Sienna in Tuscany and is a tastier cousin of spaghetti. This one comes bathe in delicious duck ragu, covered in Pecorino cheese. Delicious is an understatement. The Beef ragu was classic italian. Simple, well executed, beyond delicious. The Guanciale was superb. Veal Cheeck braised in wine beyond tenderness. No need for knife, or teeth for that matter, the meat became butter in the mouth. Here is where the spoil me kicks in. The dessert and cordials menu. One thin I saw in every menu in Florence to end the meal was not Tiramisu (although common because of turists) but Cantuccini e Vin Santo. I got hooked on this to the point that I have a Vin Santo bottle in my frige and a rotating bag of Cantuccini. Having this would have rounded my Tuscany experience. And the second part, they were out of Amaro. Really?!?! Nonetheless, a great experience. Amazing food. Will be back for the Bistecca all Fiorentina.

Lunch outside but teeny tiny portions for high prices... Food is good but not worth their high prices IMO. I got the insalate caprese which actually half a mozzarella ball (not burrata!) and two slices of tomato ($17 ouch). We shared a plate of proscuitto ($12 ouch) and mortadella ($7). My friend ordered the insalate di mare but it's basically tiny slices of octopus and two mussels on a lettuce leaf ($18 ouch). Tiramisu for dessert which were good and original (served like a cappuccino in a coffee cup with the ricotta foam on top). All were good but way too expensive for what it is. Big plus on their focaccia bread that is moist and delicious!
(2)Raphaël B.
Super nice menu for thanksgiving :) i will come back to try their home made pasta. The quality of the food is super good in a sharp and modern athmosphere!
(5)Lee G.
Waiter there's a fly in my soup! Ok it wasn't a fly or soup but there was a hair in my pasta. This combined with the smell of effluence really put a downer on the meal. All had pasta. Too dente with over elaborate sauces and fancy names. Should focus on less flash and more substance.

In a city overrun with terrible service and owners who couldn't care less about the satisfaction of the very people who make the business work, Toscana Divino offers a masterclass in how it should be done. From food, wine, service, decor, and more, TD serves some of the best Miami has to offer. Whether coming for a date, a business dinner or happy hour, you can't go wrong with this Brickell gem. When I lived in Miami I, regularly, recommended TD and was always heartily thanked for doing so. I could go well over the word limit extolling the virtues of Mauro and Tommaso. Neither one of them have ever met a stranger and the confidence in their product aligned with their overwhelming positivity make the customer feel as though he couldn't have made a better dining experience. They're both all smiles and I've never seen them anything less than charming in a variety of situations. It feels good to support business (and people) who do/are good. M & T are such people. Next time you're in the restaurant, ask for them and I am sure you'll be a fan by the time the meeting is over. Smiles are beautiful and all... but you can't eat them. It's a good thing, then, that the food is spectacular. Not a restaurant designed to serve mountains of lasagna and piles of spaghetti, Toscana Divino specializes in Tuscan cuisine/custom. Think 'simple dishes that showcase meats of all types and cheeses.' To that end, I have enjoyed the salumi & formaggi plate (board after board of pork meats, complex cheeses, fruit, and honey), olives, tortelli di ricotta (tortelli ricotta & spinach, brown butter & sage; slap yo mama good), pollo arrosto (roasted chicken, potato puree, mushrooms, and balsamic); tagliata di manzo (roasted loin steak, garlic & rosemary, celery root & olive oil emulsion, watercress, & baby radish); porchetta (with lavender garlic cream swiss chard, apple, and pork jus); and chocolate dishes that made me weak in the knees. Paired with this incredible food as a remarkable collection of Tuscan wine. Look to the center of the main dining room to be dazzled by the circular display. If wine doesn't do it for you, the dining room also boasts a collection of designer handbags sure to make wallets weep and palms sweaty. Now, while a night out here isn't cheap, TD is not out of everyone's price range. They offer one of the best happy hours in town: $3 beer, $5 wine, $6 cocktails, and $6 food items. From 6 to 8 every day, you can be a baller on a budget and eat like a king. The only drawback is that you have to sit at the bar to enjoy the discounted prices. This isn't to say that the bar isn't beautiful (it is) but TD's patio is such a lovely place to enjoy some food, drink and company... Maybe get that last drink at full price and sit outside and take in the gorgeous eye candy that populates Mary Brickell Village. Italian restaurants may be a dime a dozen but accessible high-end Tuscan restaurants that treat you like a valued guest... well, that's a little harder to come by. Luckily, there's Toscana Divino.

Every visit has been wonderful. This time to meet the mayor of Miami, a local lightning rod to say the least! Love this place. I whole heartedly recommend coming and dining at Toscana divino. It is the bomb!
(5)Alain L.
Second time in this place. This time I ordered from the Miami Spice menu which is something I usually don't do since it has always been disappointing imo with restaurants using the menu as a means of getting people in the door and putting items on the menu that are not popular. In this case the menu looked really good so I took a chance and I was VERY impressed. Appetizer Scallop tiradito - sweet scallops, the way they are supposed to be, and a very large portion. Polenta with Chicken Liver - this is an example of what a competent chef can do with a cheap plate. Delicious. Main Rabbit - two large portions of rabbit..so big I questioned the provenance of the protein, cooked to perfection. Fish - Can't remember the fish, but it was fresh and delicious. Dessert Panacota - totally different but very, very good. Carrot cake - their version, new and good as well

Loved the food, pure italian cuisine. Service was spot on. The bread was delicious and gave lots of refills. For being in expensive non fab brickell I was happily surprised. Open kitchen and great bar. Will come back.
(5)Klara S.
I went here with a friend for Miami Spice. Given the price, I give this just an "OK." We started with a calamari, which was a good mixture of crunchy and tender. His veal cheeks were much better than my clam pasta. It tasted fine, but it did not wow me. I asked for the parsley on the side, and did not get any. The wine menu is very good, but obviously there is no Miami Spice discount, so it was quite expensive. My favorite thing aside from the veal cheeks was the martini I had. It was really, really good. If I worked in this area, Toscana would definitely be my go-to for after work drinks.

Il Gabbiano use to be my favorite upscale Italian restaurant. Sorry you have been replaced. This is my new gem! I am thrilled to give Toscana Divino five stars. After they treated us to a spectacular happy hour I could not wait to have dinner. Our server was fabulous as well as the assistant waiter, truth be told I loved this guy, he was super sweet and he suggested what he thought I might like so honestly I did not even look at the menu. They brought over a great bottle of Brunello Montalcino, which I told them I had a taste for. The wine was perfect, as usual here, they only serve great quality wines and reasonably priced. Our bottle was $50 and well worth every dollar. So I am not a huge ceviche fan but the assistant described it to us and we had to try it. Oh my it was heavenly. Huge fresh shrimp with such a great lime flavor. I highly recommend it. I was so engulfed in devouring my dish I can not even tell you what entree hubby ordered. Well it also could have been all the wine I was consuming. The assistant server suggested a papardelle dish with duck. I usually always order a pasta dish because I love me some pasta. Can not even begin to describe how excellent and perfect this dish was. My palate was in overdrive. Other than above mentioned restaurant I have never tasted pasta cooked so perfectly with the most moist shredded duck that was so tasty. After another fantastic meal here with such impeccable service and food this place rates very high in my book. Want to impress a date or treat your significant other to an awesome evening bring them here, you will not be disappointed, I promise. This restaurant is also perfect for that special occasion, hmmm like Birthday, Anniversary, Valentines Day, Mothers Day, LOL hint to my hubby. Can not wait to treat our daughter here. She will love it as much as I do. Grazie for being so amazing!

We stopped in Miami for a few days on a recent trip and we were very pleasantly surprised with Toscana Divino. As "tourists," we assume we are more likely to wind up in an average restaurant. We didn't set the bar too high and, until this meal, our expectations were not exceeded. It was great. Staff, management and food were all superb, starting with Mauro who was expertly orchestrating the whole thing. For us, the bottom line is the food and TD's food was excellent. We had fresh oysters, shrimp ceviche, arugula salad and maccheroncini nero (sp) (squid ink pasta w/seafood and bottarga). The macaroni was homemade, outstanding and cooked perfectly. The flavors and textures were perfectly balanced. All the dishes were on-point and this restaurant can easily hang with those of Italy and, for reference, NYC. Both staff and management obviously take great care in their food and service, which stands out in a high traffic area where they could just "phone it in," like many others. We're here for one more day and we are already back for brunch- we just didn't want take a chance given how great our experience was last evening. Our server, Leo, who didn't even wait on us last night, recognized us immediately and was awesome- friendly, observant, helpful++. She pours (and pours) a mean bottomless brunch Bellini! We had grilled octopus, a frittata and eggs benedict florentine. All were excellent, down the delicate fennel notes in the benedict's salumi. If you're in Miami, do yourself a huge favor and eat at Toscana Divino. Just do that.
(5)Ariel Z.
Skeptical of how good ragu of duck could be? Order it anyways, because it's amazing. The handmade pasta it came with was also fantastic. The fennel sausage risotto sounds odd, but it's also delicious. The pappa al pomodoro soup was creamy and delicious, although filling, so be careful if you want to finish your main! The waiter was great about bringing us a replacement because I didn't realize it came with pork, which I can't eat. Wouldn't expect a place this fantastic right in Mary Brickell. Give it a try!
(5)Anthony P.
Wow, Extremely happy with everything overall. Antipasti just great, Primi piatti as pasta alla seneci is out of this world so much flavor I was going nuts. Secondo piatto... I was eating a huge steak cooked to perfection. Simply delicious.
(4)Michelle C.
This place is consistently solid. The pastas are all well made and flavorful. The artichoke side dish is also one of the best I've ever had. They're surprisingly tasty! The service is good, and the drinks are inventive. When I crave a solid pasta meal during the week, this is where I go!
(4)Daniela J.
I Didn't like the food, I tried the raviolis and the skirt salad, , very small portion and it was super pricy, the service was ok, I also tried a horrible desert that I had to tell my waiter to change it!
(1)Justine J.
By far the worst and overpriced and pretentious place I have ever been to in my entire life. THEY AUTO ADD 18% GRAT. FOR PARTIES OF ALL SHAPES AND SIZES, even for two people. Which means there is no incentive for good services to be provided. To be fair, I cannot speak about service quality for all, but we had one by the name of Luca. He was so bad it rendered me catatonic. He brought me a wine which I did NOT ask for and no, it was not complimentary. I asked him what wines he recommended, but he walks away, not saying a thing so I thought he did not hear me because he's clearly a moron. Pretty-boy-wannabe brings back a glass of who- the-fck- knows-what, puts it down and walks away so quickly I didn't get a chance to ask him anything about it. See, normal servers respond along the lines of, "Oh, we have XYZ" and maybe describing a little for each. In retrospect, we should have fought against the 18% because an asshat of a servant like that deserves 10% at the very most. But I had a marathon the next morning and didn't feeling like dealing with it (lame excuse, again in retrospect). So as a former waitress, here's a tip for everyone. If you truly feel a server sucked, please speak up. Otherwise, servers like Luca will keep robbing you by auto adding tip and providing shitty service. The mushroom risotto was a salt lick. Not to mention, it looked like vomit. The octopus salad (under appetizer) was good, and my friend has some pasta dish with rigotoni and I think beef which was pretty decent. He (Luca, the so-called waiter) never came back to check up on us -- how everything was, if we needed anything else... you know - the standard food service questions. SEE!? he's SO BAD I remember his name! He was such a $hithead we had to flag down other staff members (servers and bussers) just to get whatever we needed. Don't let the crowd there fool you - they probably just ran out of other places to eat at. There is outside seating and people can smoke. I do not agree with eateries who subject patrons to other patrons' noxious carcinogens. This is not a big deal since smoking-regulations does not operate on a federal level, but that is no excuse for Luca to suck. BUT, if you DO decide to give it a shot, make sure you do not get Luca. Do whatever you want just stay away from Luca. Food, maybe three stars, but it only takes one person to fck things up for everyone else.
(1)Seth S.
Versatile, high quality food, great location, friendly & flexible service, and an overall "can do" attitude make Toscano Divino one of Brickell's very best options. I find their lunch specials to be super, too--one of Miami's very best choices for a competitively priced, high quality Italian lunch. Given the quality here, it's a genuine steal at $23. Pastas are excellent and taste as though they come from the hands of a local Tuscan chef, as are traditional Tuscan dishes, breads, fish, and crudos. Toscano Divino seems to have found a great balance between traditional Tuscan cuisine and Miami's heat and local vibe. I like this place a lot and will continue to come back. Highly recommended.
(5)Rose H.
I ate here several times when they first opened, but hadn't been back in years. I finally went for dinner this weekend and remembered why I love this place so much. The wine list is excellent, food is exquisite and the service perfect. I enjoyed chatting briefly with the chef, who is really funny in addition to being quite talented and creative.

Spending time in Italy, makes you very demanding when it comes to Italian Food in Miami. I am happy to say I had the pleasure of enjoying a very Florentine Dinner at Toscana Divino! My fiance and I were lucky to get last minute reservations for Saturday night last weekend and had the pleasure of enjoying a lovely place and atmosphere. We started with the Pici Senesi - which was exquisite, and the Maccheroni Sugo Toscano "Beef Ragu" - it was also excellent with a good amount of meat on it. For our second plate, we shared the Chianti Braised Veal Cheek "Guanciale" - Also excellent. All of the food was very flavorful and good portions. We also had two of their cocktails - unfortunately I cannot remember the name, but the one with Pomegranate was great. We will definitely be back, specially after seeing their Bisteca a la Fiorentina (Fiorentina 42oz Steak) on the menu. We had the pleasure to enjoy this steak in Florence Italy and have been wanting to eat it again. Hope Toscana Divino won't disappoint us went we actually have it, but we are definitely coming back for the Florentine Dinner! :)
(4)Nisha C.
The food is great, feels like authentic Italian! I had the gnocchi with Gorgonzola, pine nuts very delicious and cheesy! The service was great too. Very busy location right in the middle of Mary Brickell.
(5)Sergio F.
5 star all the way; from the ambiance to the service and the food. I am going to be a regular here.
(5)Fiorella A.
I had the spinach ravioli which was too salty for my taste. My husband had the pasta with beef sauce which melted in my mouth . If I come back I will order that instead of the spinach ravioli. Overall the dinner was good it just took a long time but we were also a group of 10. Not sure I would come back ...
(3)Vanessa D.
Went last night... We were a group of 8. We had a great experience again Everything we had was delicious APPS: Tuna tartar Beef carpaccio Assorted meats and cheese tabla Rebollita soup Grilled octopus is to die for ENTREES whole branzino Gnocchi A few different pastas DESSERTS: (all delicious...i would prefer them a little sweeter ) Panacotta Olive oil cake Cherry and chocolate tart The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was energetic and fun!
(5)Erika K.
Great food and great service but over-priced, probably because of its location. If you are going out for an evening in Mary Brickell, I would definitely recommend this place.
(4)Jan-Willem A.
- good food - very pricey The most expensive risotto I ever did see (in the region of USD85!). Nice though it was, ridiculous price. The buffalo mozzarella as part of an appetiser was really good, as was the parmigiana cheese and the sausage. I had the ri

I love fine dining establishments and I love authentic Italian. This had a nice mix of both. The charcuterie was great. I could have just had that and wine and woulda been happy. My waiter had his nose in the air and there's no room for that in a nice place. Don't remember his name so I guess he's off the hook with his manager reading this review.
(3)Jim J.
[Visit of March 3rd, 5 pm] This is a cocktail review since I had already eaten. I tried sneaking away from la familia for a brief respite and ducking into this bar seemed a great idea, and it did not disappoint. The bar has an amazing design. I could not have thought of it myself, with the wine room behind the bar itself; a circular, glass chamber so you can watch the wines repose. Kind of exciting, actually. The expectation is of quality in every aspect. The staff was extremely attentive as well. The Fiore Indigo tops the list and I had to try it. Muddled blueberries, agave nectar, three citrus juices, cardamom bitters, and gin. I haven't drunk gin since I accidentally grabbed my Dad's Gin n tonic - mistaking it for my Mountain Dew - in 1979. I don't drink gin, but this was an unforgettably delicious combination of flavors. The rest of the offerings on the cocktail menu were also very enticing; enough to get lost in. But, alas, my family found me before I could try the concoction with the cucumber foam. I'll be back.

Once again, a delicious experience and my favorite place for culinary adventures. I had family visiting and took them for lunch before the obligatory tourist attraction. We ordered two of the lunch specials, which consist of three course meals for $23. We each selected different items in order to have more tasting options. The first course options we chose were the polenta con fegato and the bruschetta con funghi e burrata. Chicken liver was a first for me, but it was a wonderful partner to the polenta. My only negative comment about the bruschetta was that the toast is tough and scraped the roof of my mouth, but it tasted great. The second course options we decided on were the salmone and porchetta. The pork belly was another first in my book, and I was once again pleasantly surprised by such a delicacy. We ordered the two dessert options: torta di ciliege and biscotti al cioccolato. The entire table tried the desserts and we were all happy. The torta was a mix of sweet cherry tart, crunchy pistachio, and refreshing ricotta ice cream, definitely my favorite. The children had pasta dishes and were satisfied. The only negative I would have to point out is that they did not have any chocolate ice cream so one of the boys went without his own dessert. Service was great, with the boys' drinks being constantly refilled as needed and the manager seems attentive of every table. The service and top notch menu options made this another fantastic afternoon at Toscana Divino!

Food service ambience it's the best. Chef Julian is always on his game. We regularly dine with small parties and parties of 8-10 it's always incredible. We dine here two to three times a month and our expectations are always exceeded. Cheers to Chef Julian Mauro and the TEAM at Tuscano Devino.
(5)Cesar C.
I tried this restaurant twice and both times I left disappointed. It has a nice modern decor and the service is better than average, but the food is just ok. First time I tried the Osso Buco which needed seasoning and a side order of risotto that was overdone. The second time I had the Porterhouse for 2, cooked perfectly medium, but it lacked taste. For a Miami restaurant is above average, but if you have dined outside Florida or the US then you will be disappointed. I recommend you walk a couple of blocks to PM Fish & Steakhouse.
(3)Ray C.
I ordered from the price fixe brunch menu. Burrata to start, skirt steak for main course, and ea person at the table ordered a different dessert so everyone could taste. Everything was excellent and we all made good use of the bottomless prosecco deal. Would come again.
(4)Kathryn R.
My husband and I stopped here on our honeymoon as we spent an overnight in Miami. We can not rave enough about the freshness and quality of the dishes that came out. We ordered a bottle of red wine (which was continuously full by anyone walking by and being attentive to our dwindling wine). The cheese and meat board was simple and sophisticated. I had the paparedelle and my husband had the seafood with pasta. Our meals disappeared because they were so good! 5 stars goes to this restaurant for quality, timeliness, service, and atmosphere.
(5)Jaclyn G.
So.......Italian food. ... Whatever. The stuff needs to come with a side of 24K liquid gold laced with fairy farts for me to take any interest in it whatsoever. And I get it. There're some masterful chefs churning out crazy amazing plates of pappardelle and rigatoni around town. But it's...flour. And water. Blah-blah-blah-bland. I don't care how much parmesan you grate over that f*cker. (Ok, maybe I care a little.) And, it doesn't help that I'm gluten-intolerant. So, there's that. Enter: Toscana Divino. Holy hell, WTF is this place?! I mean, yeah. It's Italian. Durr. But it's also not. At least not the Italian you associate with red-and-white checked table cloths and two scrappy pooches slurping up noodles to Bella Notte. This place: all sleek glass, warm woods and cool leathers. On your plate: ruby red hunks of tuna tartare perched dangerously over endive. Thinly sliced hamachi dressed in the most delicate of sauces. Braised octopus that lingers on the palate long after that bubbly sip of an Aperol Spritz. This is Italian? Stay with me here, because it gets better. There's a Fiorentina Porterhouse that's 42-ounces. It comes with braised kale and a smoking urn of potato puree (yes, it literally wafts plumes of liquid nitro as you lift the cover). The menu will claim it serves two. That's a g-d LIE. The Duggars could have at that plate. Maybe even include Octomom along with her brood just for shits 'n giggles and *still* have leftovers after all of the carnage. As for service: quick, efficient and unerringly polite. My glass of water was never empty and my (completely empty) plates were quietly escorted away without disrupting conversation or the flow of the night. And yes, they've also got the pasta thing going here. So if you absolutely need a hit of gnocchi, you're covered. But if you're looking for a night of atypical Italia delights (at least by American standards), take a drive over to Brickell. And bring your own Bella Notte cover.

The drinks were great, ordered the gnocchi not the best I've had, and the desserts should be improved but the service was great.
