One of my buddies posted a pic of him at this establishment and I had to try it. Went in and ordered their stuffed pizza and ohhhh man! That thing was rich. One of the many best local pizzas I've tried recently. Their garlic bread was also very good nice and hot with a great crunch to it. Overall the food was great. The location was nice and quick with our food. Go and try this place out.

Initial experience when entering the storefront was negative... Cashiers seemed overwhelmed... It was busy inside during lunch and as I stood there waiting to be acknowledged and place my order the cashier kept taking orders over the phone as the line inside increased... That could have been handled 10 times better..... Thw food came out quickly... The plate the salad came in looked dirty but upon closer inspection it was just worn out... The salad was lackluster... The slice of cheese came out shortly after... It was hot and fresh but extremely greasy... Not as much cheese as i expected... Not sure it is worth a repeat visit to see if this is the usual experience.

I was introduced to Steve's when it was ordered at the school I teach at, and I may have indulged in quite a few slices. I have honestly never seen a pizza box so massive. It caused a herniated disk, 2 broken windows and a stray cat that... well.. never mind. This is no frills, bang-for-your-buck pizza at its finest. The pizza tastes delicious, the garlic rolls are A+ and you can't beat the prices. S - Super great Garlic Rolls T - Terrific, giant, fold-able slices. E - Even bigger than you think. V - Very good prices E - Erm.. why haven't you ordered yet? S - Seriously, go have some pizza.

I would rate it mediocre . Was really nothing special about this place at all. Pizza is average and edible . I could eat here again , but probably not unless someone else was flipping the bill. Don't get me wrong it's not terrible , but not amazing either . That's why I rate it a solid 3 stars.

Open since 1973, I really wish if I came out feeling differently about this place. The set up of this place is that you walk in, order off of the menu above, and if you are eating in, you get a number and then find a table. If it's take out, get your number and then wait. Now our order of a medium veggie pizza and a spinach pie took quite some time to get to us. You notice it when the people who came in after you are already munching down on their order. I watch a lot of Chef Gordon Ramsay, and he popped into my mind. I could just imagine the Chef at Steve's, his critique was going on in my head. Sloppy pizza, no taste, it falls off the crust and isn't held together. It looks messy and old overall, Steve's in my mind is in desperate need of a face lift. Maybe some new tables/chairs, a better set up with a unified look with better pizza. If you're after variety, yep they've got that. The menu has everything Italian: lasagna, pizza, calzones, spaghetti, salads, wraps, gyros, ravioli, parmigiana. And the prices are not bad. But for me personally, if the name is Steve's Pizza, that means I'm coming here for pizza. Our appetizer of a spinach roll was cheesy and good. And the pizza set when it cooled down staying more together; but if our crust wasn't well done, it would've become soggy. And no one likes a soggy pizza crust. They do have a pizza challenge, I remember hearing about it in high school, and I saw a cork board of photos and the rules. Now, I don't know what you'd win, but hey, if you're the sort of person who's into food challenges, then maybe you should check out Steve's...

Its good. Food is good. Prices good. Service not so much. But it's good food :) Miami Pizza...not NY pizza

Fantastic pizza. Thought I'd never be able to replace my Miami's Best fix. Steve's is it. Everything a real pizza place should be..... Nothing fancy just amazing pizza.

I've been coming to Steve's for years. The best deals are for the two pizzas and a drink for lunch or the daily specials. Great local pizzeria!

This place is a rid off! The calzone is just a bunch cheese! I would never order from this place so disappointed! Don't waste your money

I tried this place for the first time and the pizza was good. I will try them again as I had a pepperoni pizza this go round. I also ordered lasagna but it was not good.

The pizza and gyros are great. The employees, not so much. Every time I order food, they fuck it up somehow. They never bring sauce, plates or cheese. EVEN THOUGH WE ASK EVERY GODDAMN TIME. Also, they suddenly decide they don't deliver to my address AN HOUR AFTER I ORDER MY PIZZA. REALLY GUYS, get your shit together.

I always enjoy Steve's Pizza. It is all in the sauce. It is easy to place an order. The staff is OK but the pizza definitely makes up for it.

Worst experience ever!!! I ordered one large pizza for delivery. Guess when it arrived ? 1 1/2 hours later and to top it off it was ice cold. I called and complained and the best they could do is send me another pizza. Oh great so when it gets here in 2 hours I can have another cold pizza. No thank you Stevie's pizza! Other than that I had a wonderful experience.

I'm giving them a 1 star because I didn't even get to eat or even try the pizza. I went to steve's to do their famous challenge. I called multiple times to confirm the rules and they told me the same thing each time "you must come in person, takes about 30 min to make, you have 2 topping and 2 2liter of soda, finish the pizza with in 45 min and can not be done from 6-8pm". When we arrived they said they couldn't do it , it was too busy and it would take like 4-5 hours to make the pizza. They also said you must call ahead to set it up. Me and my group drove 45 min to go try the challenge and the customer service was horrible. They didn't cater to the customers needs and besides that had no regards to helping out the situation. They obviously have to get all their employees on the same page with their policies etc.... I am super disappointed I didn't get to try the pizza period but hey if you only care about your regulars by all means keep serving them and forget about the new customers. They missed out on 3 challenges in 1 day either they didn't want to lose the money or don't even care. Don't like doing but they did it to them selves.

After a friend recommended Steve's, we ordered take out and enjoyed a relaxing dinner at home. After ordering an XL pizza (8 slices), we realized that they have JUMBO size (16 slices). Wow! We also ordered chicken wings, garlic rolls, and Cesar salad. I was not impressed with the Cesar salad. It was a bit too sour for my taste. However, their wings are HUGE. The largest chicken wings I've ever seen! They are very meaty and juicy. The garlic rolls are soaked in oil and fresh garlic and will have you running to brush your teeth afterwards. Yummy. I really enjoy the cheese and pizza dough that they use too. We are even consider ordering catering from them for a party next week. I just wish their cesar salad was as good as say The Big Cheese.

I want to let everyone know that one of the owners, Tom, responded to my review. I feel terrible that I had a bad experience. Tom did offer to make it up to me. Since I have been a loyal customer of Steve's (probably longer than I mentioned in my review; I moved to that area in 1996) I will certainly give them another try.

Very yummy pizza slices! They are big and delicious. The employees were very nice and helpful in telling me what were the specials of the day and they even gave me recommendations. Also, they are up to date with their soda machine and they have Arizona teas. All and all its very delicious.

OMG! I have been living in Cutler Bay since 1998. I have always ordered and love Steve's Pizza. Tonight I ordered for delivery at 8:10. Was told an hour to an hour and 15 min. 10:10 rolled around and I called. I was informed that the driver had left an hour ago! What! Are you serious? Not only did we order a pizza but fried calamari.....fried calamari an hour later is a soggy crappy mess. I told this to the poor girl answering the phone who has nothing to do with what is going on. I asked to speak to a manager. If it was bad at that point it all went to hell in a hand basket after that. He had to have been THE rudest person working in a service industry that I have ever dealt with in my entire life. He could hear I was upset...his reaction...cop an attitude x 100. I told him that in all my years of ordering from Steve's this had never happened. His response was "it only happened once..not too bad". Are you serious? By this time the tension was high and he was screaming at me and I at him. I was told that he did not want my business and hung up on me. He called his driver and told him not to deliver the food. Not sure what had happened to you Steve's. It's a shame because you make a great pie. But you have lost two customers tonight and if this continues I am sure we won't be the only ones.

The pizza was soggy and the crust taste like water. The cheese was not gooey. Disappointing! The staff is very unprofessional and unsanitary. They eat in front of customers while taking orders and handling money.

Pizza has to be exceptional to be five stars and this was mediocre at best. Had a slight cardboard box taste and very slim on toppings, especially when you consider the price.
(2)
Javier G.
The only reason I am giving this establishment three stars is because I really like the pizza, if it were not for the pizza I would definitely give it one star. The lady in the front that charges the customer has no customer service, as a matter of fact she's downright rude. It baffles me that an owner of a business would have somebody that rude as the face of the company. I do not think I will be returning.
(3)

Pizza is better than chain restaurants! The service could be friendlier and more customer oriented, but I won't let that take away from the food.

This use to be a really good pizza place. Just had my pizza delivered and it was over cooked and dry. Hard like a piece of card board. I won't be ordering pizza from here anymore. This is the second time this has happened.

This place is fantastic! I have lived in Florida my whole life and this is the best pizza in the state!!! They will accommodate any request, the staff is friendly, fast, and efficient! What I love the most is that it is fresh you can absolutely taste the quality ingredients! The price ain't bad either whether it is pick up or delivery! Trust me get yourself to Steve's Pizza!!!

Huge pizza slices, but they dissolved and we're really hard to eat. It's nothing out of this world, but they delivered so it's a plus there. I wouldn't say it's my favorite.

This pizza was disgusting. They were both under cooked, we had to put them in the oven to finish cooking then. Might as well call the veggie pizza "onion pizza" because that is the ONLY veggie it has on it. And we ordered the barbecue chicken pizza, mistake! I can go to Publix and buy a better frozen pizza then what they serve. I also found a hair in my salad! The only good thing was their delivery was on time. I will not order from here again....

Well, this is definitely my favorite pizza in Miami. The service can be spotty, and I think they have like 5 small containers of pepper flakes for the entire restaurant..doesn't make sense. Lunch special is $5.75 for 2 enormous slices and soda. Not a bad deal at all considering the size of the slices. Also the location of the Steves Pizza Challenge. All in all, the quality of pizza has been consistent since the first time I tried it years ago, which is what keeps me coming back for more.

I recently tried this place for the first time the other day with my girlfriend and her mother. The restaurant is located in a very run-down shopping plaza, whose landlord could stand to drop a few bucks into renovating the place. Anyway, Steve's Pizza is a very casual NY-style pizzeria, with a counter you order at and a side dining room with the standard red-and-white checker tablecloths found in most Italian joints. My girlfriend and I split the medium BBQ chicken pizza, and it was delicious.Their garlic rolls are pretty good as well. Steve's Pizza does not try to more than it is, and that is a good thing. It is a very solid pizza joint, and so it shall remain. Staff is relatively friendly, and our food arrived quickly. I have no experience with their deliveries, so I cannot comment on that. I may update the review if that ever happens.

I have been a regular at Steves since high school! The pizza is always really good, but I reccommend the cheese the most. My second option is mushroom, but I find that when you add a topping to the puzza, the cheese isn't as chewy and as when you order just cheese. The workers are really nice and always say hi to you when they walk by. The garlic rolls are really really oily and therefore really really delicious! But I really do not like their spaghetti, which is really blah and has no taste to it whatsoever. My neice also loves it here and when we go we ask for dough for her to play with and they always give it to her. How sweet!!

I've been coming here for years but it's the first time I'm reviewing. I grew up on New York style pizza, Steve's pizza is the closest to it that you can find in Miami.

We chose Steve's on a whim and ended up not liking it. We got a cheese pizza with garlic rolls. The pizza dough was doughy and the pizza, itself, was on the greasy side. The garlic rolls weren't edible (and barely pliable), since they had absorbed so much olive oil. There's plenty of better alternatives in the area.

What an unfortunate, deal-breaking experience with Steve's Pizza tonight. Been ordering from them for more than 10 years - eating there for years before (when they didn't deliver to my house). Ordered 2 weeks ago and got cardboard for pizza. Called to let them know and was told, "We're busy....stuff happens." Ordered w/a friend from them again tonight - was told the food would be 1 hr 15 min - ok, we decided to wait. TWO hours later the foods still not here so my friend calls. They tell her "they're busy" and the driver left with it an hour ago and should be there shortly. My friend points out that the food will be soggy and cold - they respond saying, "if this is the first time it's happened to you then we're doing ok!" What????? When we tell him this really isn't ok the conversation gets heated, things escalate poorly and he hangs up on her!!!! I call back - calm, pleading for some sort of compromise, and the girl in the phone says the manager told her not to talk to me and hung up!!!! Really??? I will now make a point of telling every person I know to NEVER eat from there again!!!!!!

As authentic as any NY pizza will get in Miami. That's what they advertise and that's what you get. If you're after gourmet, get it elsewhere.

Debby K.
Ordered a pep. Large pizza, 6 garlic rolls (yum), 24 chicken wings, 2 liter of coke. Asked several times is this everything answered yes every time. Got home no coke, the worst wings ever. Pizza was good, garlic rolls good. Would not go again, total bill 68.00. So not worth it.

I order from them at least once a week. Some of the best plain pizza I've had in Miami.

I've been wanting to eat a pizza just like the one I ate in NY and this met my expectations. The pizza was hot and cheesy and the dough was thin, crispy but chewy! I will recommend to all my friends!

Best New York style pizza outside of New York! They have a special Monday-Friday from the afternoon to 3. You can get either the special pasta of the day or 2 large pieces of pizza and a drink all for $5.00! Any toppings on it is I think a dollar or $.50. It's so great! You have to give it a try!!

This review is an update. A few months ago I gave Steve's Pizza a very unfair 2 stars. It was because they had a very rude lady taking in the orders. The pizza was always good but it sucked having to deal with that lady every time.Since then a lot has changed the women taking the orders are all very nice (please make sure to tip). The Pizza still rocks! So now that the service has improved I will gladly promote Steve's Pizza as the best Pizza in all of South Dade, hands down!!!! They sell pizza by the slice or if you want to be adventurous they also have the Jumbo Pizza. Aside from Pizza all the other items are equally awesome. The stromboli is easily the best in South dade as well, haven't found any other place that even comes close. Their garlic rolls, spinach pie and subs are all equally great. You just can't go wrong. So if you live anywhere south of 152nd ave then you need to come to Steve's Pizza to try "real" NY style pizza and to try the best Pizza in all of South Dade.

When I get Steve's it's almost always to go, but today my boyfriend and I decided to dine in. The pizza was amazing and the service was nice and professional, but the tables were so gross I almost didn't even want to stay and eat! The table clothes are red as white checkered. The white squares were hardly even white they were more like black. It seems like business is going well considering all the people in there today they could at least invest in a good cleaner. C'mon now.

Experience with Steve's pizza is not very good I really have to admit the pizza is very good but the service I think I get better at the dmv. I tried to overlook the service cuz the pizza was good but the lady is so so rude this place has gone down hill that used to be nice for the service used to be better but if you want a true real rude New York experience this is the place to go

This review is for the new Steve's Pizza Express on Old Cutler Road. Part of the same "Chain" Pure pizza JOY!! This is the best pizza I've had in years. I special ordered a "Cheese Steak" pizza, and the Margarita Pizza with chicken. They were both huge and had great crispy crust. I had Steve's a few years ago, and they have improved since the last time.

The pizza is great. All of their other food (subs, sandwiches, wraps, etc) DO NOT ORDER! They're simply disgusting and bland. Also, the woman on the phone didn't ask me for my address when I was ordering. She said "oh I already have it." Turns out, she had my old address. I ended up waiting an hour and a half for the delivery because the delivery man went to the wrong address (not his fault). Please Steve's, improve your customer service and CLARIFY THE ADDRESS!

I just moved into the neighborhood and never tried Steve's before. I spoke to Jackie, who took my order and she was so sweet. I told her that I just moved and it was my first time ordering from them and she suggested a few different items from the menu. Felix, the delivery guy,got to my home quickly and was so polite. He told me that they had packed us some paper plates and utensils since we just moved and wanted to help us out any way they could. He really made this whole experience a memorable one. The pizza was hot and delicious. I will definitely be ordering from Steve's again and I highly recommend them to all pizza lovers. Thanks again for the great food and even greater service.

Service: I just place your order at the counter you get a number and then your food is brought out to you. I have been to this place a few times and I like their pizza since it is so thin crispy and tastes good. The addition of a new Coke machine where you are able to select multiple beverages is a plus. Condiments such as Parmesan cheese oregano and pepper flakes are always standing by and I like that. Their prices are fair. One thing that deserves attention is the restrooms they are old dirty and in disrepair they need to be upgraded and cleanliness needs to be executed on the restrooms. The rest of the restaurant look clean. There is ample parking outside. I recommend this place

I have have been coming here since I was in High School, and the food is just as good today. Last time I was there I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. The dish came with 2 baseball sized meatballs served over a bed of spaghetti with marinara sauce poured over it. The meatballs were full of flavor and very tender. You cant leave Steve's without trying their garlic bread which comes smothered in minced garlic and olive oil. soooo goood! Also had their NY style pepperoni pizza, the crust was thin and the cheese was very tasty. The pizza was also quite greasy, thats to be expected considering this is NY style pizza. Overall it was a good pizza! Spaghetti and meat balls $10 Medium 14'' NY style pepperoni pizza $13

Thin, greasy and lacks flavor... Not a fan, sorry!
(1)
Nicole W.
I tried Steve's today and it was pretty darn good! It's the closest thing to NYC pizza I've found and the staff are friendly and efficient! For today's visit, I kept it simple and ordered two slices of pepperoni and a soda for $9. I ended up with way too much pizza, as the slices are gigantic! I ended up taking home the extra slice and it pretty much filled up the box they use for a small pizza. The crust here is nice and thin and the pizza has just enough grease! I am going to return soon to try the shrimp pizza! Who puts shrimp on pizza?! Steve does! However, they do it with tomato sauce. No tomato sauce for me...Shrimp on top of a white pizza is more to my liking! They also have a decent selection of subs, salads, and Italian fare. See ya soon Steve!

Great pizza in my opinion! Love the cheese and pepperoni pizzas! Cannot wait till I try their challenge!
(4)
Alejandra A.
That cheese is just to die for...This pie doesn't need anymore than just that.. THE CHEESE. And the day after it tastes even better! Hell yes to the hangover munchies! Downside: if you choose to sit down and eat inside...well let's just say it feels more ghetto than your usual pizza joint. Thank you Steve's for giving me plenty of melted goodness drip from my mouth with each bite...it is greatly appreciated.

I am a huge fan of Steve's, I always go to the north location and I was down south so I decided to try this one out. I was pretty disappointed, the pizza and garlic rolls were re-heated and in the process, burnt both. The crust, cheese, and rolls were pretty overcooked. Mediocre experience, I'll stick to the other location.

I would say 3.5 stars. I regularly buy pizza from this place because of the proximity..its NYC style, the jumbo pizza feeds a whole bunch of people and its fairly priced. Each slice on the jumbo is huge. The chicken wings are unexpectedly good. For parties its always a hit, a couple of jumbos and some wings and people chew it up. Its definitely not Andiamos but its also not 30 mimutes away. The pizza can be too greasy at times, and i wish they were more creative with the toppings (especially vegetables).

One star is too much but since there is no other choice, I will go as low as the site allows me to. My husband is from Brooklyn so he knows what a good New York Pizza is. First time we had their pizza we ate at the restaurant. Allow me to say that the pizza is great their attitude leaves much to desire is as if they are doing their paying customers a favor, being our first time we sat at a table waiting for someone to take our order after about 10 minutes of nobody approaching us we went to the counter where two women were talking and asked if someone would take out order or if we had to place the order at the counter, after being given a dirty look we were told we had to order at the counter and that the food will be then taken to the table. Food came and it was really good although if we had been greeted and talked to in a nicer way the experienced would had been better. Today we decided to placed an order for delivery since we liked their pizza and guess what??? Their attitude ruined ours plans, after being hang up twice by one of the ladies at the restaurant because apparently she could not hear clearly and instead of telling my husband " I m sorry I cab barely heard you or can you speak up she just threw the phone. We called for a third time and this time a guy answer the phone and again the attitude was the worst my husband order an x-large pizza 1/2 meat lovers 1/2 veggie and when he was given the total it was much higher than what it read on the menu, the person told my husband we were being charge $10.00 because it was 1/2 and 1/2 Really? So my husband just told them to " Forget about it" guess what their menu rest at the bottom of our garbage can. We will not eat or order from this place because as much as their pizza is good their attitude sucks and ruins the whole eating experience. Steve's Pizza owner you must learn that customers are the live of a business and of you don't treat your customers with respect your business will not prosper.

Steve's is on par with a great pizza place in New Jersey it Philly or NYC. The pizza is amazing. The chicken parm sub is very good. I also the calzone is good as well. The cheesesteak isn't great but they can't hit on everything.

Don't use the iPhone app to order!!!!! After waiting almost an hour after work, I go to pick up the pizza, they have no orders under my name. I told the cashier I ordered online, she proceeds to tell me the app doesn't work and I have to wait 40 plus minutes for my pizza or 1.5 hrs for delivery. Bad choice for a Friday/Saturday night. So disappointed .

Ordered a pizza at 2:48pm today.. Was told 45min to an hour. I'm still waiting on it to get here and it's 5:00pm. Which is 2 hrs and 13 minutes later!! I called them and was told "drivers on way, didn't know it be so backed up". WOW!! Truly disappointed with that response. The level of service today 1/2 a star.

They have a pizza the size of my bathroom rug. There is some sort of eating contest, if you and a buddy can finish it within a certain time frame, it's free, or something like that. I'm not a fan of flimsy NY style, and their pizza was on the flimsy side. But I was a HUGE fan of their wings. They call them jumbo, but that is because they don't break them apart. It is both part of the wing still attached so when you order 12, you are getting really getting 24. I like the sauce on the side you can personalize between the spicy and not so spicy people.

This is comparable to a small handful of places in NY with regard to the sheer size of the pies. Beyond that though, people comparing it to anything from the original five boroughs is high, stupid, ignorant or lying. I don't mean to be cruel, but it really wasn't that good. Super extra greasy without the rich flavor that you'd expect to accompany such drippiness. Look, it wasn't terrible. I'll give it three stars (extra star for being in Miami, the land where food goes to die), but I am really tempted to give it two just out of the sheer shock suffered when comparing my experience to the reviews. Super bland. If I were nearby, craving a lot of pizza with a limited budget, I'd think about going back... but probably not.

We have ordered Pizza from Steves 3 times for delivery. The 1st time it was doughy so we asked the next time to cook it longer and it was awesome. However I ordered a greek salad with chicken and it came without the chicken. I didnt realize this until the next day. Today was the topper. Its Sunday at 5:20 and we call for a large pie. They told us 45 minutes for delivery. An hiur and a half later we called to see where our pizza was and was told any minute. It was delivered within minutes but looked like it was lying on its side. All the cheese was smeared off. We called back to complain and decided that because it took so long we didnt take their offer for another pizza but wanted a refund instead. The "manager" wanted to see the pizza and we were told that someone would be back to pick up pizza ASAP. Well it is now 8:30 and pizza still hasnt bern picked up. Never getting delivery from there again. Poor customer service!!!

Just came here for what is usually an ok eating experience in the dining room and was told to please move tables so the guy (Charles) could sweep. Mind you, they don't close for another 2 hours. I did move though, and eventually he came around my área anyway sweeping and dusting out the carpets RIGHT NEXT TO my food. When I asked him if he could please stop because I couldnt eat and look at the pile of garbage at the same time he told me "I could pack my food and bounce". I spoke to the manager who took a while to even look up from what he was doing and was interruptor by the guy, Charles, who told the manager not to mind me and that I was having a "moment". Don't eat here! I would hate to see what they do IN THE KITCHEN if the outside is treated so disgusting!

Just go there. Order the 23" pizza with some friends. Leftovers aren't a problem. I have no issue with going back again. Everyone who goes there enjoys their decadent pizza. This place isn't about location. It's not about fancy decorum. It's not even about manners. This place is just all about strangely large and delicious pizza. That's about it.

I love this pizza. I always order a pizza with fresh garlic. pepperoni, and onion. It is SO good and not like the chain pizza quality. It's really good, really authentic NY style pizza in the middle of Perrine! When I order here I usually pick up and take home, but I have dined in a few times. They usually have the televisions on Fox News, which is kind of weird, and the tables are rectangular with the plastic table cloths on top. Nothing special at all in atmosphere , but you'll be so busy with your pizza that you won't care about the lack of ambiance. Another thin I love there is their house salad dressing for the antipasti salad.

We ordered pizza Friday night at 8:11 and was told 45 minutes for delivery. After calling them twice and being told the food was on the way it finally arrived 9:50 and was cold. We refused the order. I called again to make sure they didn't charge my card and the girl that answered would not put me on the phone with the manager. We have been ordering from them for years and the food always comes late and barley warm at best. Never again.

This pizza is soo good and the slices are huge. The garlic rolls are awsome as well. The staff is very nice and friendly, this is a great spot to go you wont be disappointed.

nothing but greatness here. I have not had not one bad experience with any type of food here. The pies are great!

I'm sorry Steve. But this past Sunday's pie had my boyfriend and I cringing from the unwanted side effects it gave us (I won't talk about it...just in case someone is eating) I kinda knew there was something odd about the pizza since the cheese came right off... I mean, what kind of slice loses all the cheese when you pick it up. Then it wasn't great tasting like it normally is. Seeing as three of us ate from it, and all 3 of us got sick. I'm going to say that it was caused by the pizza (we also didn't share any other dishes that day). It was BAD. Really Bad. I don't think I'll be visiting Steve's for a while :-/

So glad this place is here. Getting my fix of great pizza. They kept my son busy while waiting and let him play with the flour and dough. Nice crew!

Horrible warm flat beer. Steak sandwich was rotten and dripping nasty liquid. Everything is dirty and smells like fish. Kids laying on the floor screaming. This was by far the most disgusting restaurant I have ever been in.

This is the go-to place in Palmetto Bay/Cutler Bay for pizza. I've been coming here since I was born (we won't say how long that is *wink wink*). They never disappoint. Their lunch special is a great deal, too. The best in South Miami!,

Steve's Pizza has now been noted as one of my two favorite pizza places. This place makes me reject going to Papa John's and Dominoes because I'm lazy to go all the way over here. Once you come here, you're not going to order from your neighborhood pizza place anymore unless you're close to this place. First off,you have AWESOME specials. Like are you serious because that's a very good price. For example, Monday through Friday special is 2 slices of pizza and a small soda for $5.50. One slice of regular cheese pizza is about $1.75. To add toppings is 50cents extra--but not bad! Honestly, you can't go wrong here. You have people working here that are helpful. Plus, what I like most is the visible pizza box sizes with the number of slices on related to the box--check the pictures. And you have visible salad sizes. Compared to other pizza places, you would see them or know the number of slices on the size. The restaurant, if you decide to eat in, has a large seating area. So this is perfect for kids and group settings. As I'm writing this review, I'm craving another slice of pizza from this place. I might just have to go out of my way to get some!

Steve's - We ordered our mushroom & onion pizza well-done yesterday. OMG, the BEST. The only way we'll order it now. :) Love Always, SabrinaAnna*

One of my favorite pizzerias in Miami. The pizza is delicious and reasonable priced compared to other non chain places. I can't really comment on the rest of the menu since I haven't tried it but they do offer all sorts of pastas, gyros, subs, salads, etc. They offer a fun challenge where you have you and a couple of friends down a 2 topping 30 inch pizza with a 2 liter soda in less than 45 minutes. If you win, you don't pay, you get a free shirt, and you're immortalized on the wall of fame. I actually managed to complete this challenge today, causing one of the best feelings of accomplishment ever. Try it if you dare

The best Pizza you can get down this far. I love the big cheese but its far away. Out of the numerous pizza places (inlcuding all the chains) Steves is the most consistent. I didnt give it the full 5 due to it being a bit pricey when you get large sizes. They also dont really do coupons but the pizza is fantatsic for south florida

I no longer live in Miami but I miss Steve's pizza all the time. Simple, traditional, and damn good NY Style pizza! Steve's brings me back to my childhood...wonder if they still have the table-top Frogger game in the restuarant or the picture of the baby with spaghetti all over it's head... I am heading to Miami this holiday season and can't wait to visit Steve's while I'm home! yum yum!

Best pizza in the area

Tried Steve's jumbo cheese pizza tonight and would definitely recommend it. Nice dough, just right sweet sauce, and tasty cheese. Reminds me of the pies I used to get in the northeast. The pie fed a hungry family of four with 3 or 4 leftover slices. If you try Steve's, you will never order sir pizza, papa Juan's, or any other chain again.

Food is always consistently excellent. Had just about everything from Pizza to their Chicken Parmesan and they have all been great. Highly recommend if you're in the area. The prices are very reasonable as well! The only drawback is that there is limited seating so I wouldn't recommend trying to get a big group in there unless you hit it at the right time.

Pol W.
What can I say? The pizza is top quality. 4.5 stars. I can't see how this place has under 4 stars average. It is called NY Style, but honestly, this pizza is better than a lot of the places I have had pizza at in NYC.
(5)
Joshua Z.
Pretty good pizza, nothing mind blowing though. Their subs are packed with meat.
(4)

If you are looking for a quick and tasty pizza fix then this is the place. Steve's 2 slice and soda deal fills the pizza void whenever the craving hits. I have not tried other menu items or ordered a complete pizza pie, but I can vouch for the two slice and a soda deal. An especially excellent way to kill time while I am getting my oil changed across the street at South Motors Mazda.

Steves reminds me of your typical small pizza joint. The pizza is pretty good nice big slices (Casolas style). I like the vibe in there it feels like im in New York.

Steve's is probably one of the BEST pizza places I have found in Miami. It is the only thing that comes close to real NY style pizza. Do yourself a favor and go have some right now...GO!!

Disclaimer - I haven't had *too* much pizza in MIA that wasn't a chain. However, I'll definitely go back to Steve's. The toppings were fresh and crisp - prices decent (but it's in an area you might expect prices to be a little lower). Didn't dine in, so can't comment on that. Only one concern - I felt the tomato sauce was just a little too sweet. Maybe I imagined it. But, like I said - I'll definitely eat here agin, I can't stomach the swill that Papa John's serves up.

pretty good should be more generous w/ toppings

best pizza ever. i have been to a lot of pizza shops but this one is the best. its awesome. if you wait pizza come here

Killer, New York-style pizza. Their thin slices have just the right floppiness to be folded over and enjoyed; the sauce is excellent and the cheese does not overwhelm. On par with the best I've had.

Steve's is a staple for Italian take-out food for the Palmetto Bay and Cutler Bay areas. Very basic menu (think frozen food isle), but what they do offer is good, simple Italian food at reasonable prices. There is a small dining area thats good for young families, since everything is linoleum and plastic and kids love this food! Thin crust pizza is excellent, not so great on the Sicilian pizza; try the stromboli.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

My dining experience was awesome staff were very friendly food was great it was very organized and clean everything is on time I had a chicken marsala and my wife had the chicken Alfredo they both tasted great just like Italian food I planned on coming back again and bring more friends
(5)Brandon J.

(2)Minoska M.
Its good. Food is good. Prices good. Service not so much. But it's good food :) Miami Pizza...not NY pizza
(4)Gaston S.
Fantastic pizza. Thought I'd never be able to replace my Miami's Best fix. Steve's is it. Everything a real pizza place should be..... Nothing fancy just amazing pizza.
(5)Brett P.
I've been coming to Steve's for years. The best deals are for the two pizzas and a drink for lunch or the daily specials. Great local pizzeria!
(5)Krystal Z.
This place is a rid off! The calzone is just a bunch cheese! I would never order from this place so disappointed! Don't waste your money
(1)Dianelsie M.
Worst customer service I've ever had. Ordered got there, my order magically disappeared from the system. Second time I have a bad experience here and will definitely be the last
(1)Ken G.
I tried this place for the first time and the pizza was good. I will try them again as I had a pepperoni pizza this go round. I also ordered lasagna but it was not good.
(3)Ana V.
(2)Lucy D.
I always enjoy Steve's Pizza. It is all in the sauce. It is easy to place an order. The staff is OK but the pizza definitely makes up for it.
(4)Liz E.
(1)Fitfatkid S.
(1)Laura D.
(4)Teri W.
(3)Marjorie B.
Very yummy pizza slices! They are big and delicious. The employees were very nice and helpful in telling me what were the specials of the day and they even gave me recommendations. Also, they are up to date with their soda machine and they have Arizona teas. All and all its very delicious.
(4)Veronica J.
(1)Yoz Y.
The pizza was soggy and the crust taste like water. The cheese was not gooey. Disappointing! The staff is very unprofessional and unsanitary. They eat in front of customers while taking orders and handling money.
(1)Abe S.
Pizza has to be exceptional to be five stars and this was mediocre at best. Had a slight cardboard box taste and very slim on toppings, especially when you consider the price.
(2)Javier G.
(3)Ronnie T.
Pizza is better than chain restaurants! The service could be friendlier and more customer oriented, but I won't let that take away from the food.
(4)Nikki C.
This use to be a really good pizza place. Just had my pizza delivered and it was over cooked and dry. Hard like a piece of card board. I won't be ordering pizza from here anymore. This is the second time this has happened.
(1)Adrienne M.
(5)Angelica P.
Huge pizza slices, but they dissolved and we're really hard to eat. It's nothing out of this world, but they delivered so it's a plus there. I wouldn't say it's my favorite.
(2)Tracey M.
(1)Dan J.
(4)Matt A.
(4)Sabryna L.
How sweet!!
(4)James A.
I've been coming here for years but it's the first time I'm reviewing. I grew up on New York style pizza, Steve's pizza is the closest to it that you can find in Miami.
(4)Mina K.
(2)Pam W.
(1)Xavier R.
As authentic as any NY pizza will get in Miami. That's what they advertise and that's what you get. If you're after gourmet, get it elsewhere.
(5)Debby K.
(2)Infected With R.
I order from them at least once a week. Some of the best plain pizza I've had in Miami.
(5)Michelle G.
I've been wanting to eat a pizza just like the one I ate in NY and this met my expectations. The pizza was hot and cheesy and the dough was thin, crispy but chewy! I will recommend to all my friends!
(5)Charlie G.
(5)Stevens T.
(4)Ashton D.
C'mon now.
(3)Js W.
Experience with Steve's pizza is not very good I really have to admit the pizza is very good but the service I think I get better at the dmv. I tried to overlook the service cuz the pizza was good but the lady is so so rude this place has gone down hill that used to be nice for the service used to be better but if you want a true real rude New York experience this is the place to go
(1)Brittany D.
(5)Sarah C.
(3)Noelle N.
(5)Nelson R.

If you like garlic .... order the fresh Garlic Pizza. A friend recommended this and it was great. For the Heat Game Half- time order was ready for pick-up when I arrived !!! Very small and busy for eat in at night. Will try as an eat in soon. Food very good.

One of the best pizzas in south Florida. Oh and try the garlic roles!

One of the best pizza in South Fla

Just go there. Order the 23" pizza with some friends. Leftovers aren't a problem. I have no issue with going back again. Everyone who goes there enjoys their decadent pizza. This place isn't about location. It's not about fancy decorum. It's not even about manners. This place is just all about strangely large and delicious pizza. That's about it.
(4)Michelle P.
(4)Mark R.

(4)Rosa C.
It was BAD. Really Bad. I don't think I'll be visiting Steve's for a while :-/
(1)Jeff A.
So glad this place is here. Getting my fix of great pizza. They kept my son busy while waiting and let him play with the flour and dough. Nice crew!
(5)Alisa K.
Horrible warm flat beer. Steak sandwich was rotten and dripping nasty liquid. Everything is dirty and smells like fish. Kids laying on the floor screaming. This was by far the most disgusting restaurant I have ever been in.
(1)Amy M.

(4)Jason K.
(4)Shannon L.
I am heading to Miami this holiday season and can't wait to visit Steve's while I'm home! yum yum!
(4)Erik E.
Best pizza in the area
(4)Bill R.
(4)Philip B.
(4)Pol W.
What can I say? The pizza is top quality. 4.5 stars. I can't see how this place has under 4 stars average. It is called NY Style, but honestly, this pizza is better than a lot of the places I have had pizza at in NYC.
(5)Joshua Z.
Pretty good pizza, nothing mind blowing though. Their subs are packed with meat.
(4)Sergio F.
(4)luis s.
Steves reminds me of your typical small pizza joint. The pizza is pretty good nice big slices (Casolas style). I like the vibe in there it feels like im in New York.
(4)Jacob C.
Steve's is probably one of the BEST pizza places I have found in Miami. It is the only thing that comes close to real NY style pizza. Do yourself a favor and go have some right now...GO!!
(5)A E.
(4)Cody B.
pretty good should be more generous w/ toppings
(3)Roland N.
best pizza ever. i have been to a lot of pizza shops but this one is the best. its awesome. if you wait pizza come here
(5)Mike D.
Killer, New York-style pizza. Their thin slices have just the right floppiness to be folded over and enjoyed; the sauce is excellent and the cheese does not overwhelm. On par with the best I've had.
(4)joe p.
(3)Matthew W.
used to go all the time haven't in awhile, the pizza was always good never had a complaint.
