Ok, so seeing as how it's gotten to the point where I'm frequenting this place multiple times a week, I thought it fair to update my review and up the rating to four stars. I love this place. It's never all that packed so long as you arrive ahead of the golf crowd (as a rule of thumb, just try to get there before sundown on any given night), and I really think that the food (bar food, so don't come in with upscale expectations) is nicely executed and really tasty. The wings are my food of choice. I found that, tossed in Miami Heat sauce, they're a little much, but if you order the Dale style wings (Miami Heat sauce is applied BEFORE the cooking process), you get a lot of heat with considerably less tears. Sports grill also has a very legit chicken Philly. And, lastly, the service. The waitresses are always great and the owner can usually be found visiting with patrons from table to table making sure that all food and drink needs are being met. My new local (West side!) sports bar of choice.

Glad there's finally a Sports Grill on this end of town! The wings here are unique and quite large. The Miami heat spiced wings are great for heat-seekers! You won't go wrong with the bar staples like cheese fries or nachos either. The space is a little awkward but it'll do until they settle into a larger space.

Of all the places I really enjoy (even though I tend to be a foodie) this place is awesome! Special grill wings are the best. Never a terrible wait. This is our go to restaurant for Saturday nights out with friends and family. Easy, kid friendly, unpretencious , and downright delicious. Feels like "Cheers", they ALWAYS remember us and are very friendly.

The wings are INCREDIBLE! Even though the spicy ones ( I want to say they were called the Red Hot Heats?) are TOO spicy. Great place to go after 18 holes or just to catch a sports game. Hell, I've even come here to eat without having played golf!

This place is really close to my house and I have always been a fan of the original one down in south Miami. This spot is actually inside of the club house of the Country Club of Miami golf course and is pretty convenient considering you have a nice sports bar to rely on for after your rounds. The bar is pretty nice in size, and it is always pretty empty. I have never had to wait to grab a seat and usually I just go to the bar. Ok, on to the wings: 1. The home special being the Special Grill sauce is really really good, and I would consider it to be a mild to medium spice, not really hot at all. This with some ranch dressing makes for a messy, but enjoyable meal. 2. The hot Buffalo sauce is also really good here. It is not dreadfully hot and also goes real good with ranch dressing. This is even messier than the aforementioned Special Grill because it makes for a much wetter wing so expect to pickup excess drip on your hands.....

Bottom line: best wings I've ever had. They were juicy, flavorful, and had plenty of meat. Bartender had some great suggestions on the different flavors. We were here to play golf but it was a nice surprise to have this place here. Good selection of draft beers and the service was solid too.

I can not explain much, but you have to try. The wings are so hot and tasted so good. I have never forget the taste. I used to go to Hooter a lot on the weekend for the game. I and my boyfriend both like it. However, when we tried this restaurant, we just want to come here on the weekend to enjoy the game and hot spicy wings

This place is a hidden gem for wing lovers. They have to be one of my Favs along with ale house wings. I recommend you try them. Service is okay, and bar could use more varietys of liquor. Otherwise, this place has big led TVs, plenty of tables, and could be the next big thing with a interior designers touch.

Not the best place to go but if you want to drink a beer and have some wings is ok. Don't think the wings will make you fly they're ok but not great. Also they don't have a liquor license so beer is all they got. .. enjoy.

Very disappointing. Level of service extremely low. The wings were burnt and tough. We had to attempt to chase the waiter and manager for service. It was extremely loud and unorganized. Not likely to return.

I consider myself a bit of a wing snob. This being the case I dare say these are some of the best wings per their weight in quality and value. Size: large enough that it will take you 3-4 bites to get the bone clean. Flavor: you have choices. My faves are Teriyaki or Special Grilled. Outstanding smokiness and taste in every bite. Consistency: crunchy yet smooth. Not dry. Cost: taking into account the ideal size and power packed flavor I think their $0.88/wing pricing is fair and just. It's a shame nothing like this exists in the Bay Area of California (because I miss it)!

It's nice to know there is a quiet and not obnoxious sports bar right around the house. While in search of a new location since Hall of Fame down the street closed I was reminded that Sports Grill had a location in the Country Club in Miami Lakes. Upon arrival we found a table right next to the bar with ample space and great line of sight to one of there many TV's. I've always been a fan if there Kendall location and we flocked there many moons ago for there special grilled wings. We were a pretty large party that can eat, 8 of us in total ordering several pitchers of bud light which were on sale along with these freshly cooked sweet potato fries that were heaven sent with a marshmallow dip that blended so well. The fries were a nice golden orange color and new oil was used when they were made. You can tell by the color. I would order this again. We then followed up with a order of 75 special grilled wings, yes that number is correct we can bring them down. I had forgotten how good these grilled wings can be. They have a nice mild kick to them, I don't believe there spicy but they have a nice kick to them, I don't believe they use sauces but use species when there made. Very delicious! I am guilty of taking all the drums, I know I know of one of those guys. Service for the venue was good. By the start of the game it was pretty packed but there wasn't that sardine in a can factor. The waiter was making sure we were taken care of while checking religiously on other tables. I would not mind coming again for a game or just to hang out and have a beer or so or socially. FYI free WiFi score!!!

Service is awful. This place about pushing liquor and is a hang out for a click. This is not a real eatery and the fod is stuff you can get in anyones backyard. By backyard I mean of people who dont know how to cook. The location is antiquated, not well kept up and a step above abandoned. The entrance is very nice and gjves a charming welcome, but thats it. Everything from the door in is sub-par. Stay away!!
