Just tried this place for the first time...it's INCREDIBLE! The food was very good and reasonably priced. I definitely plan on going again. The Snapper and Shrimp has me hooked. The people working there are very friendly. Quick, delicious seafood. A MUST TRY!!!

Snappers Fish & Chicken: Maxed-Out Prices In A Semi-Minimalist Environment? Interior: Wicker seating, industrial dining tables, and decent décor accents have done this establishment justice sufficient to have it addressed as an above-average diner. Aside from the occasional marine fact card, the atmosphere might need at least some degree of improvement. [3.6/5.0] Staff: If not greeting an entrant is a crime, then I'd issue a citizen's arrest. None of the staff greeted me on my way inside (or at least on my way to order at the counter). However, they have been of some help, and their competence at the very least matches the average national food service standard. [3.8/5.0] Dining: Despite the not-so-authentic meals (given that there are many to choose from, albeit not enough traditional fare, notably fish-and chips) and the exorbitant prices in most items on the overhead menu, I'd theorize that it's been trying too hard to make its exclusivity well-known throughout the County in a shoddy effort to boost its image among particular VIPs. Nice try, Snappers, but if higher prices are the last thing you wish to change, then at least make the décor more prestigious. [2.7/5.0] Amenities: The flat-screen displays are satisfactory, the restrooms are clean, and a gum ball machine is present. I have to admit, this restaurant isn't really as half-bad as I have initially perceived. [3.9/5.0] Final Judgement: This dining establishment may have its unique minimalist designs with some additional amenities to make it more hospitable. But the empty fish tank's purpose remains a mystery... Anyways, if you wish to come for a chicken-and-seafood meal, stay for the sports game, and leave with a burnt hole in your billfold, then Snappers Fish & Chicken is the perfect place for you. Final Score: [3.50/5.00]

If I've got a craving for conch and I can't get it fresh, and I'm not up for traveling to the north-side...then this place will do. I had the cracked (fried) conch and it was...alright. A little thick and chicken-nuggety but it was acceptable...given we're on American soil. The sauce was actually pretty good too. They had flat screen t.v.'s so my mother and I watched a World Cup game on one t.v. and divorce court on the other while having a snack on our excursion to Family Dollar. There are are several tables and the place was pretty clean. We were there about 30 mins to an hour after they had opened on a Thursday. It's in a plaza with other stores so it's the perfect place to stop in a have a bite while running errands. The cashier was polite and attentive.
