I was searching to satisfy my burger craving and after having to leave another establishment because of a roach problem, my family and I landed here. It really was just okay.. the staff was nice and we were served rather quickly but there still was no match to my favorite spot for burgers..pincho factory. The burgers were good but nothing exceptional. Not sure if I would go back..

I had no idea how starved the Kendall area was for a new burger place. Went the other night to try it out and the line was CRAZY! I don't think they were prepared for so many people, it took forever to get our burgers. It was also so crowded that they couldn't keep up with cleaning/busing tables. We sat down at a dirty table which had just opened up, and I had to ask 3 different people to come and clean it before somebody actually did. This place serves their food Pei-Wei style. You go up to the counter, place your order, and you get a little number to place on your table so they know which food belongs to you. They've got tons of toppings you can add on to your burger, and that's great... But I feel like the burgers themselves leave something to be desired. They're pretty average. Their sea salt fries are also on the "meh" line. If I go again, I'll be sure to try the sweet potato tots, to see if they're any better than their regular fries. Nothing to write home about, but if you're really craving a burger, live in Kendall, and don't want to drive too far from your house, this place will do.

There are way too many burger places around now. And I can't think of a single one I've tried in Miami that isn't better than Shula Burger. I only went here because a friend had told me about the chorizo burger, which has manchego cheese. We went and they didn't have it so I had the BBQ burger and sweet potato tots. Even though the presentation is great, and I think it's adorable that they stamp the bun with "Shula," the burger was mediocre at best. Like I said, I can think of at least 7 other places that have a better BBQ burger in the city just off the top of my head. The meat tasted too much like a generic frozen burger and the toppings weren't enough to turn it around. I tried my friend's French Onion burger, which is really inventive, with the cheese, the croutons and all, but with burger meat like that, it's still not something I would return to have. The tots were okay but I've also had better ones in Miami. The fries were pretty bad. They had no salt and they were on the large side, so you're just biting into flavorless potato. They also skimp on the portions. Skip.

We arrived and the place was packed, I was going to bail but I waited. Then in one fall swoop the restaurant cleared and it was our turn. Napa Burger French Onion Burger Fries Sweet potato tots 1 glass of wine 1 beer $40 (pay at counter pei wei style) And then we waited... tick tock...tick tock.... Finally our turn, the burgers arrived and moments later we digged in. As soon as I picked up the burger fatty juice ran down my paper napkin and I knew i was in for a treat! Best new burger place ever!! Steaming hot, tons of flavor and have a mentioned its juicy??? No dry cardboard burgers here!! Love at first bite ;)

Came here with bestie for lunch, and we sat outside as it was a nice day and she came with her doggy Sammy. I ordered the French Onion burger which was delicios with the sea salt fries and a soda and she the shula burger with sea salt fries and soda too. Prices were very reasonable and the burgers were cooked perfectly. The only wish i have is for them to have sweet potato fries NOT tater tots. Cant wait to go back and have the chorizo burger.

Really good quality food. A few more options to customize the burgers would be nice but overall it's great. Short wait times for food and always have the game on

when I saw a Shula burger go up on Killian I was exited, finally a burger worthy of my sensitive palate. My first choice was the Wine burger : sautéed peppers, goat cheese, sounded interesting. by the time I paid for fries and a drink which are all separate bill was $14 !!! Well this is Shula's and the burger is prime beef. Not only was I disappointed on the burger but the goat cheese kept sticking to my palate, it was so annoying. My next visit I got the House of Blue again overpriced and not up to what I thought. Sorry Shula your name can't cover this up, overpriced and not that great a burger. I pass.

So- I was skeptical about trying this place since there are so many new burger places out there and I haven't been a huge fan of many of them. This place however has a very creative (& more importantly, good tasting) menu. I asked for their most popular burger when it was time to order and was suggested the French Onion burger (caramelized onions, gruyere cheese (!) garlic mayo, and garlic croutons) Yum. I thought the croutons would be weird but no way- amazing. My husband ordered the California burger (avocado, tomato, cucumber, & balsamic greens) and my parents got the Shula Frita (cantimpalo chorizo, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, potato sticks, & smoked paprika ketchup) ALL of us loved our burgers. That should say it all. The sea salt fries were pretty dope too. The onions rings were massive and delicious as well. All in all, a great experience. I should also add that we ordered everything "to-go" which typically reduces the quality of food in my opinion (due to it being hot in a container for a little while) but it really didn't. Good stuff. :)

Favorite burger is the French onion burger. The taste is right on. The blue cheese and bacon chips are to die for too. I do think that it's a little overpriced though. Especially when you're paying almost $10 for just the burger itself with no fries or anything else included.

I rarely ever do this but Shula burger is deserving of it for their rule of meat temperature. I walk in on a Friday night all set to experience a nice quick service dinner with my wife. Instead I get a twenty something twit who tells me I can only have my burger medium well or well. Then she changed directions and informed me that since they cared about my health that is why they restricted the temperature to medium well or well. I explained to her that since Florida does not have any law covering raw or undercooked meat that it was a corporate policy based on profit margin not my health. The reason some restaurants do this is because they can hold on to meat for a longer period of time, since cooking the meat to a higher temperature will lessen the effect of any "iffy" beef. A restaurant that offer burgers rare has to have fresh meat or their clients will soon get sick. So basically I left with my wife and we had Thai that night. I had sushi of course since i like most of my food raw. So Shula's if you care about your customer base you will throw that rule out.

Came here during lunch and was amazed at how good these burgers were. I tried their French onion burger and a side of the sweet potato tots and both were amazing. I am planning on coming back and trying their many other options

Good location and finding parking is not too bad. As for the food, I place it somewhere between ok and good. The blue cheese and bacon chips are really really tasty with a nice shareable portion. It's listed as an appetizer but arrived about 1 minute before the rest of our meal which could be worked on. I ordered the house of blue medium. It came out closer to well done and I was totally looking forward to the red onion jam but it was more like grilled red onions and no juicy sauciness. I added some of their really delicious BBQ sauce and it made it better. The sweet potato tots were good and tasted fresh. A nice touch. The take away from my experience-it's pricey and on par with Fuddruckers with the exception of the ability to add "gourmet" toppings. I'd come here again but it'd check my expectations at the door.

This place has the best burger in Kendall (that I know about, at least). The burgers have always been perfectly cooked, the brioche bun is perfect, and their toppings are sublime. My favorite is the herb garlic mayo - I ALWAYS get this on my burger - its sooooo good. I've never eaten here because it's so close to my house that it's my go-to place for when I'm on my way home, don't feel like cooking, and want good food. Their sides are good, not phenomenal like their burgers but I can barely finish one of their burgers if I get a side. I usually get a side salad with my burger because I can finish that and if I'm getting food for my whole family we'll get a couple of sides to share. Their fries are good (especially when dipped in a side of that amazing herb garlic mayo), their onion rings can either be amazing or not so good (lately they've been more consistently amazing though) and their sweet potato tots are really good, especially when dipped into some Curry Mustard Sauce from Chicken Kitchen (***hint to Shula Burger - make a sauce like this & serve it with those babies - it's the PERFECT condiment to any sweet potato fries/tots***). They had a fish sandwich as a special a few months ago that was so great that I would eat here at least once a week, if not more, if they had it as a regular menu item (every month they have a special sandwich - and they're usually pretty great). Also, their milkshakes are incredible - real thick and made with Haagen Dazs. Their hot dogs are just OK - and they don't have sauerkraut for them! To me, that's just blasphemy but this is Shula BURGER not Shula Hot Dogs. Customer service has always been VERY nice, helpful, and pleasant and my take-out orders are almost always ready in 10 minutes and they have never messed up an order, forgotten anything, or given me luke-warm or cold food. Their dining room is nice and the outdoor setting area looks like it would be wonderful during the winter - there's rarely a lot of people eating here, which is nice because it keeps the place quiet (which is a HUGE rarity and a lovely thing in Miami).

We have been here several times and the burgers are awesome. Service is always excellent. Manager even gave our daughter a free chocolate chip cookie, which was yummy. The fries here are a 9 out of 10 and the onion rings are some of the best in town. Comparing Shula's to Bobby's Burger Palace and Fuddruckers I would say they all have their great things. Fuddruckers has the best bread, Bobby's have the best milk shake and fries, and Shula is maybe the best overall. The bread at Shula is close to Fuddruckers and the shakes are almsot as good as Bobby's. The sunny side up and French onion burgers are my favorites. Nice place to have close to Kendall.

4 words: Sweet Potato Tater Tots... Very unique, and tasty. The burgers are outstanding as well. I usually go for the French Onion, but the spanish burger equally delicious. I have been meaning to try the steak sandwich which also looks very good. They have expanded their menu to include turkey burgers and veggie burgers. I had a bite of a veggie patty and it is on my list to try next. They also serve beer and wine and have ice-cream for dessert.

Well what a disappointment, we were very excited by the prospect of having a good burger joint close but I will not be returning to this one for sure. Coach Shula you lost this one. The staff was good they made good recommendations but really come on the burgers are possibly something similar to a "Bubba burgers" they are processed and in a silly shape so I know that they are not hand pressed on site. I got a simple cheese burger with bacon because if you cannot get that right most of the other burger will be awful as well. The buns are good and the toppings seemed kind of fresh but the overall quality was just plain and average. We got a various sample of their sides to see if they were any good and I can say that they failed there too! All of their sides come from a commercial distributor and they are most likely pre-packed and frozen, we got the 50/50 which is fried pickles and peppers they were greasy and lack any flavor the breading was again something that was bought from a distributor they come with a side of ranch dressing and that only made it worse. The fries lacked any flavor what so ever and without salt they were just plain and got cold quick, the onion rings are frozen out of a bag too. The sweet potato tater-tots were boring and a huge disappointment even though they are supposedly their signature side. So sadly I cannot recommend this place it really lacks quality or imagination which is sad because I know that our former and the all time winningest coach in football would never allow this to happen if he was really involved.

Went with my girlfriends for a quick lunch outing. In and out in less than 40 min which is great. Food came our pretty quick but one of the burgers was missing toppings and my friend was not pleased. Servers quickly brought them out for her since she didn't let them take the burger back for fixing. The place recently opened so I guess they have a few kinks to work on. Overall our burgers were pretty awesome - 3 of us had the French Onion burger (myself included) which was delicious. Such a rush of flavors - the melted cheese, the caramelized onions, crunchy croutons and the garlic mayo are insane together. Fries were yummy, sweet potato tots were really good too. We also ordered a massive, and I mean colossal, chocolate chip cookie to split, which was so good. Overall this was a good experience and I plan to come back.

Love the meat combination for the burger, always good and cooked perfectly. The onion rings with the sauce is really good. Never had a problem with portion size for kid's meal?? A little pricey but worth it for the quality. Well staffed to provide fast service even when busy. I have been here many times and never had a bad experience.

Best burgers in town. House of Blue is my personal favorite. Lean meat, fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly. Have been here 3 times now- never disappoints. Also, sweet potato tater tots are UNREAL!

I was really looking forward to having a burger here. I have to say the prices are kinda high for the size and burger you get. I got the Shula burger and it was tasty and good but not worth the price for a regular burger. The highlight was the sweet potato tots.

Miami is lacking a "good" burger... Till now. We enjoy traveling around the world, and inevitably a burger becomes part of the menu at one point or another. Our favorite is in Hawaii. Until now, we haven't found anything similar until this Shula burger. Bottom line, it isn't cheap, but it is much cheaper and FAR better than anything you will find in South Beach. The burger has a great flame broiled taste, with a perfect bun. Sea salt fries are a great compliment. Onion rings and sweet potato tots, are great as well. We each tried a shake for dessert, and again. Great. Nothing we tasted was bad, we were very pleased with the food. The atmosphere has a dash of restaurant style, with attentive staff, but this is definitely a relax dining experience. Would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a great meal. Again, it isn't the dollar menu at Mcdonalds, so don't be upset when you get a 45$ bill, but it's not a 80$ bill for a worse tasting meal on lincoln road at the beach.

Swung by there recommended by a friend. Like the environment. The restaurant was clean and the staff was super friendly. On to the food burgers where nice crunchy on the outside and pink on the inside. Exactly how I like them. The fries where tasty and the big chocolate cookies where pretty good. Prices where pretty fair also.

Well, I just finished my first-ever meal here and, although I wished before getting here that it would be a five-star burger joint (because of Shula's name), Shula Burger missed the mark by just a tad. I ordered a medium-well, double Shula Burger with bacon. Paying a buck for a single strip of bacon broken in half was not what I was expecting for a restaurant owned by Coach Shula, but that's what I received. The overall taste of my burger was great. If you like juicy burgers, look no further! It easily made my all-time top ten list, which is definitely in line with my expectations. The part of my visit that was left wanting was on the French fries. For me, French fries are the absolute compliment for a good burger. These fries happened to be the perfect size (not too skinny and not too thick) and had the skin on, which is always a plus, in my opinion. Unfortunately, someone was asleep at the fryer when they were made. They were way too overcooked, which made them brittle and crunchy, not firm skinned with a soft interior. To top it off, when the fry cook woke up from their nap two minutes after his buzzer went off, it must have scared them into over salting the fries, as well. Since I was there with my wife and daughter, we had three orders of the exact same overcooked and salty French fries. Wanting to believe that this was just a rare occurrence, I called a friend of mine to ask him about his experience here at Shula Burger and he confirmed that he had had the same exact thing happen to him. Not good. Being my first time here, I can't recommend any of the other sides to you, but if you're not as hung up on the French fry experience as I typically am, then I suggest skipping the fries and trying another side with your burger. The other sides MUST be better because it'll be pretty hard to make them worse! Coach Shula, if you're reading this, PLEASE go back to your restaurant, sit down with your fry cooks and go over the SOPs with them. You are one French fry away from being a top player in the burger world!

I think this place is just ok....I like the variety of toppings they have for the burgers but I feel the patty is a bit on the thin side. I ordered the Wine Country bun-less, meaning no bun. It is topped with goat cheese, roasted peppers, roasted tomatoes and balsamic greens. The greens were way over dressed and they were limp and soggy. I would ask for the dressing on the side next time. The sweet potato tots were really good.

I have gone twice already and have never had to wait very long. Either to order or for my food. The burgers are pretty good and in my opinon, not very greasy. The prices are not too bad. Three of us ate for $33 which included "The Don" (burger with a hotdog on top-$10), another burger, 2 fries, 2 drinks, and a kids meal for $6. Will definitely return!

  • Carlos J.

Had better! Don't like paying $10 for frozen patties. The onion rings were good but it's definitely over priced food! My Shula burger was mehh. I enjoyed my $5 burger from Wendy's a lot better. Service was ok.

Mhmmmm Nothing special about it Burger was Uncooked and whats worst HORRIBE COSTUMER SERVICE! I was surprise! that Shula lets his NAME get this LOW

  • Margot B.

Burgers and fries are good, but pricey (fries are a la carte). I've heard of Quick Service Restaurants, but Shula's should be considered a No Service Restaurant. You place your order at the counter, have to pick up all of your utensils and sauces, then sit on cold, metal chairs without even a cushion. The young staff is friendly and did clean our table after our meal, but at those prices...I'll keep searching.

It was good, I cant really point out what it is, that I cant give this place 5 stars, maybe i expected more since their steakhouse and sports grills are so amazing?. But overall its a great burger place, comparable to CG Burgers and the burger joint.

Good solid burgers, but nothing life changing. Patties are tasty but a little small for a "premium" burger, and the bottom buns have a bad habit of arriving at the table soggy. The French onion burger is pretty good, though I think the best menu item are actually their tots: crispy without feeling overly greasy.

Best burger ever!!!! Yes, burger joints seem to be all the rage and are popping up everywhere but Shula's is the real deal. Their French fries are out of this world too. Great place to go when you want a really great burger or even a really good steak sandwich.

Clean modern place with indoor and outdoor seating. A number of different burger specialties, but I stuck with the regular Shula burger for my first time. The burger was brought to me fairly quick, the Shula's branded on the bun was pretty cool. The burger was juicy and cook as a asked. The bun was nice and soft and the a-la-cart fries were the thick-cut kind. Not sure what size are the burgers, but ate it pretty quick and with ease. Had plenty of room for dessert and was going to order the cookie ice-cream sandwich, but it looked to big for one person. I went with just the chocolate-chip cookie which was awesome!

I was very excited to try them. I ordered a regular burger with mushrooms and cheese. I thought it came with lettuce and tomatoe but it diodn't i had to ask after, which they kindly gave me. The burger had no seasoning. The rest of the toppings didn't help at all. The best thing on the burger was the fresh lettuce i had to ask for. I also ordered the seet potaoe tater tots, this was the best thing i had.

Ordered the Shula burger well done. The burger was good. Am not a fan of the sweet potato tots. Would like to see some more choices for sides. My friend ordered the Swiss mushroom burger. It was also good. The onion rings were rather skimpy(4). Price is high for the portions.

I have no idea why there are reviews saying the food has no flavor or that its too expensive. I think there are too many people in Miami that are accustomed to fast food prices & want everything cheap because $15 a person really isn't that much. 5 guys is about the same. It was DEEEEE-LISH-UUUUSSS (yes, I know I spelled that wrong. It was intentional. LoL). I went with my parents & we perused the menu since we had never been. The girl at the counter was extremely polite & answered any questions we had, not that there were many. It is a burger joint after all. My dad ordered The Don, a burger with a hot dog on top, & the sea salt fries. My mom ordered the French Onion burger with a side of sweet potato tots & I ordered the Southwest burger with a side of onion rings. Holy wow, that was a great portion of food & we all left full. My dad said his burger was really good, evidenced by the clean plate he left on the table. My mom & I each cut our burgers in half & swapped. WOOOOWWW!!! They were both so incredibly yummy! I was preferential to the Southwest but they were both incredible so either will do to satisfy the rumbly in my tumbly. We picked off each other's sides so we could get a taste of everything. The onion rings were sooooooo good....& GINORMOUS! That is probably my one & only "complaint", if you want to call it that, its really just something I'd put in the suggestion box. They could probably stand for downsizing them a little but, but otherwise tasty. Fries were nice & crispy. The sweet potato tots....thank you for this invention, sweet baby jesus. All I can say is nom, nom, nom. Is it cheap? No. Is it worth the SLIGHTLY higher price point! YES. You'll probably spend about $15 per person so you know it's a little more than fast food, but not as expensive as some restaurants. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty burger treat, even if burgers aren't your thing you will leave with a satisfied belly & a happy disposition.

The burger was good quality meat. the price was average. it was 5.99 for their classic shula burger which brought american cheese, tomato, lettuce, pickles. the fires were like $3 extra. i ordered the sea salt fries and i must say that i was super disappointed. the fries are not cooked in peanut oil, btw...for those of you with allergies. there was no hint of sea salt on the fries. they tasted like nothing. really like nothing and the portion of fries is tiny for the price you pay. my friend ordered the sweet potato tater tots and those were actually good, but they were soggy in the middle. we all agreed that we have had better. my friends got the bbq burger and the french onion burger. the croutons in the french burger was a nice suprise for them when they tried it. the food came out relatively fast...maybe like 15 minutes. the place was really packed and i thought it was a little too hot inside with all those people, so we sat outside in the nice seating area. the staff was friendly. there was a line of people ordering when we arrived. the line took a little long, but the staff was working both registers in an effort to keep the line moving quickly. not so expensive, good burger. but nothing out of this world.

I was here for lunch yesterday. It was my first time at Shula burger. I went a little nuts and had The Don. It's a burger with a hot dog on top served on a brioche bun. On the side I had fried pickles and banana peppers. This side, called 50/50 is surprisingly good served with a nice sauce. It was a great meal. You could taste the quality in both the burger and the dog. I wasn't hungry until almost 9 that night. I came back the next day and went simple-just The Big Dog on a pretzel roll and fries. The onion sauce (it's not really a sauce just what they call their onions cooked in a wine) is good but I would have preferred raw onions which they have, but only in rings for the burgers, I guess. They don't have sauerkraut either which is a bummer. I love that they have Shula's steak sauce. I like it on my fries. As burger places go, this is probably the best I've been to. I'd give it a 9 out 10 for quality and value. The place is super clean and the service is friendly and relaxed but very professional. They need to fix the north door that slams closed very obnoxiously. I'll definitely be back soon but I'll sit away from the door next time.

We went to Shula Burger on Saturday night. We were very excited about it. The burger itself was very good, totally "Shula" quality. Cool looking joint, with Some Shula memorabilia. Food was a field goal. Let say the service was a fumble, on the 30! We ordered fries when we ordered our burgers. Our burgers came and went and still no sign of our fries. We did ask and get a refund. Ordered a shake instead to go. The kid making the shakes was methodically following a recipe! It was painfully slow. Will give them another try.

When I ordered my burger and the cashier asked me if I wanted my burger "medium or well" I was a little disappointed because I like my burgers medium rare. But I am not one to argue so I ordered medium. Burger came and it was nice and pink inside. It was medium rare anyway. Was pretty happy, seemed that like they read my mind! Burger tasted great! But now I know why they are at least trying to encourage you to order only medium or medium rare. Because 12 hours later I am sick as a dog with food poisoning. Stomach cramps and the big D have ruined my Saturday night and my Sunday morning. I have a cast iron stomach and can usually eat anything and feel just fine, so there is no doubt this is food poisoning. Recommendation: order your burger well done or just don't go to Shula Burger. Recommendation to Shula burger: change your beef supplier.

Very pricey but the burgers and onion rings are phenomenal.

The only negative is the price. The food was excellent. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and the sea salt fries. With an iced tea, my meal was $12. A little pricey for lunch, but the food here is way above a fast food burger joint. There are several varieties of what I would call gourmet style burgers. There are a couple of salads to choose from too. A friend had the turkey burger and loved it. Another had the Wine burger with goat cheese and loved it. Dig the Shula stamp on the bun. I will go back as money allows.

I must say I was VERY disappointed! First of all, we waited for twenty minutes standing out side while there were empty tables inside and out. Then the ice machine was broken so we had to scoop ice out of a pan with a slotted spoon. There were no clean forks and very few knives or spoons. One of the ketchup dispensers was empty. Then to top it all off they "lost" our order! When I complained about it one of the severs tried to get it straightened out, but got the order wrong even after asking us what we ordered and taking our recite. Then I asked for the manager and he did not get it right either. He claimed that a communication issue was the problem and we should have never been told our order was "lost". To top it all off the quality of the food was not what I expected from a place with the Shula name. I have eaten at several of his establishments enjoying excellent food, service and atmosphere. This place had none of that! After all of that the manager only offered a lame apology, an incorrect order, and food that left a bad taste in my mouth. I won't be back! There to many other GREAT burger spots in Miami. Don Shula should be embarrassed at this effort, or lack of.

The only extraordinary thing about this place are the prices. But in the interest of being fair, let me elaborate. The meat was cooked to order without being dry; a common mistake at most burger joints when well-done is requested. However, they rely too much on toppings for flavor. A little powdered onion and garlic salt go a long way in ground beef. The size of the standard single-patty is ridiculous for a $9 burger! And the upgrade to two patties is an even more ridiculous. The toppings looked to be high quality and fresh. And so was the bun. The variety and quantity of the side dishes is a joke. The quality was even worse. The sweet potato tots are a weakness of mine and they totally ruined the experience. I may even have return just for the tatter tots. But they were salted to the point of being repulsive. It was difficult to stomach but a few before I gave up. Oh well, all things considered I'm not going back.

I am on the hunt for a good burger place around me and this place hits the spot. This place has the quality of a sit down restaurant but it acts like a fast food joint with the way it is laid out. The cashier and menu are at the front and you order and get a number to wait. No waiting to be seated, waiting for a waiter then waiting for your food ( which takes longer). I ordered the House of Blue, medium rare which had of course blue cheese, balsamic salad and some jam. I also order the sea salt fries and a red sangria My burger was cooked right at medium rare. I hate it when it is overcooked but this was done right. The blue cheese and the jam complimented each other. Which is very difficult given the nature of how strong blue cheese really is. I thought only Father's Office in LA could only do it right but right here in Miami, Shula burger can do it. The sea salt fries were larger fries with the right mixture of salt. They were not too crunchy nor soggy. The sangria had the right mixture of wine and fruit. The only thing I would like to have is more whole fruit instead of cut into bit of pieces. Customer service was all quick and efficient. They were attentive of how we were and also cleaned up our dishes fast. Overall, I think this is an excellent burger place that is fast, easy to go to and with the good quality food.

Fantastic experience! They have something on the menu for everyone! I had a mushroom burger, it was very very very good. Ordered my daughter a burger, though she is a great eater, she did not love it. I spoke to gentleman who came in to check on us, his name was Andrew, he apologized, and quickly brought over another meal for my daughter---all within a minute or two. Not only was the kitchen quick to "make things right", but Andrews response to my request was outstanding. Will be returning!

My husband came here on a whim on a Saturday afternoon. We are glad we did. Both our burgers were outstanding (he got the California style one and I got the Southwestern). The flavors were on point for both. We shared tater tots which were delicious. Recommended for a good, fast, but high quality meal!

  • Jashira M.

The service was good. The food was good. However I think I expected better. I was satisfied with my burger but if I was craving a burger, Shulas wouldn't be my first pick. They do have a large selection of beers for a burger place with no bar. If you're into beer with your food you'll like it here. It was sort of pricey for a burger and it was nothing out of this world.

  • David R.

Shula Burger was surprisingly good!!! The service was great, the cleanliness was superb and I even was able to change an item I had ordered and did not like. The wife and I came looking for a new experience and this place delivered top notch burgers! Juicy, well made and very well done. A place I would definitely come back. Ps. Make your onion rings bigger and softer... :D. All else, keep up the great work!!!

Always spot on with their Cali Burger. I've had others but I love this one the best. The sweet potato tots are scrumptious. This is my go-to when I want to be bad.

This place is dead. There was like 3 people here, which included the staff and ourselves. I had the Don, but the hot dog was cold. My biggest complaint is the kids meal. I got the chicken tenders meal which consisted of 2 measly chicken tenders and 6 fries, not kidding... My daughter who is 2 and barely eats told us she was hungry, so we all ended up sharing. The kicker the 2 tenders and 6 fries was $4.99! Overall total for 2 burgers, a portion of fries, 2 sodas, and a beer $41.02. Hit up Fuddruckers and get your money's worth. Overrated place with no ambiance and expensive, worthless food.

We enjoyed a quick and delicious family meal on a Friday night with little wait. The onion burger I had was great - perfectly cooked with golden crispy onion rings as a side. My son had the southwestern and he finished his before I could take a bite - a sure sign that it was good. It is the type of place where you order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. The food was served quickly and was obviously fresh. They also serve wine and beer and I saw generously sized chocolate chip cookies although we didn't have any. Service with a smile.

  • May L.

This is a nice local place for burgers. There's never a long wait and the burgers are pretty good. Sweet potato tots were tasty but fries were a bit over salted. Had a bit of a challenge ordering beer on the menu as they don't have some of the ones they list. But overall a good place for a quick bite.

Came to Sheila's Burger not knowing what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The manager Andrew was such a welcoming person making us feel at home, giving us recommendations and following up to see how the meal was. The burger was cooked exactly how we ordered it. I would definitely return and recommend Shula's burger. And by the way, the chocolate chip cookies are amazing!

I have a hard time with this place. It has Shula's in the name, so you would think they are all about meat, right? Well, you can't get your burger cooked they way you like it? Seriously? You can get a steak rare at a Shula's Steakhouse, but not at a burger joint baring the name? What ever happened to "Your way, Right away"; oh wait, that's BURGER KING a fast food place!!! Stupid me, I assumed I could get my burger cooked the way I like it, at a place with Shula in the name. Worse yet, I wrote an email to their main office and they never bothered to reply. I will never go back. I don't like bait & switch much, which is pretty much what I consider my experience at Shula's Burger to have been. They lure you in with their name, but refuse to cook a burger the way you like it; way to impress the public. I rather go to Bobby's Burger Palace frankly.

We have been going for a couple of years since they opened and last night we took our food out, which we have done many times, they are cutting corners and the burger was hard and cold and looked like a formed pressed burger, not the regular fat and juicy burger in the past. I will give them another try, but I hope they aren't cutting corners like most places start to do, we have eatten there and referred friends too, we love the place. But please Shula Burger go back to the original way of doing things.. I had the French Onion Burger, which I always get and last nights was terrible..

  • Jennifer D.

Super expensive but very delicious. A dollar to add a dab of goat cheese is a bit much. And four dollars for a side of sweet potato fries is much overpriced. However, the food is tasty!

I wanted to go to Shulas burguer since I saw the place, and finally had the chance to try it with my husband. It was a huge disappointment, the greeting person at the register service was impossible to understand, they brought my burguer 10 minutes later after my husbands, by the time my order came my husband's was already cold, I ordered my burguer medium well and it was served well done instead, the bread was not special, except by it having the word "Shula " imprinted on top. And there was no orange soda of any kind. I thought I was going to find a nice gourmet burguer restaurant, instead I found a different kind of decoration five guys style restaurant.

I have taken my family to this place for a while now, their burgers, steak sandwich, salads, and kid's menu assured me that no members of my family will complain about anything. Today, we decided to try their milk shakes and it was an awesome experience.

Best service I have ever had here. Food came out qickly and the cashier was knowledable about the menu and patient with our group of 5. The entire order came out quickly and with a smile . Everything tasted great. This time we got the sweet potato tots without the cinnamon and salt and they tasted much better. Usually they are too sweet for me. I also got the bunless California with Chicken and my friend got it with a burger. Very fresh ingrediants and cooked perfectly.

Any of their burgers can be substituted with a veggie or turkey patty, which is what I do. I've heard from family members that the beef patties are very good, though. Sweet potato tots or sea salt fries are a great side. Extra points for carrying funky buddha beer (local).

Love the burgers here ! They are delicious ! The fries are the best !!!!! I like to stick with the original Shula Burger. It's tasty and fills you up just right. It's not an overwhelming burger buts it's really good! I love burgers and the Shula burger is definitely one of my favorites. Service is very friendly as well!

One of my top three favorite quick burger spots. Not necessarily the best patty in MIA but I love what they put in the French onion burger. I have them add mushrooms.

Shula's Burger is the perfect burger joint for football aficionados and lovers of meat patties! The decor is adorned with football sayings and other football facts. The wall by the order counter reveals the history of Don Shula. There is a football quote by the wall that shows workers preparing food, and the number stands they give you to show waiters where to deliver the food shows information on Shula's players. There are also flat screens in here, I guess, for showing football games. There are only two screens though, so you have to sit at ideal places to see the screens. The burgers here are pretty good. They are juicy, and the menu has variety. I tried their special item, The Three Little Bigs Purger, and it came with pork and bacon. The bacon could have been crispier, but the patty was juicy. The side of sweet potato tots I had were flavorful. Just amazing. Overall, a really good place to grab a burger and beer for a good price. The place could be cleaner though. There was a huge fly flying around the burger joint.

The French Onion is ridiculous!!! ANd the bleu cheese aint too bad either .... Burgers are cooked to order and service was great I will be a regular here =)

Wow ... That was one tasty burger! I had the French Onion Burger (carmelized onions & gruyere cheese) .... Wifey had the Southwest Burger. Both were amazing. Couple the burger with perfect onion rings and sweet tater tots ... And then ... all gone. Nice selection of draft beers. I think this is top 3 in Miami!

Burgers were pretty good! Very tasty the service is pretty quick so when you're on the go and want a quick burger this is the place to get a quick bite. It has outdoor and indoor seating and the place is very clean.

Yes, your burgers tasted good going down. However, they also made me sick to the point where I thought I had food poisoning!! I was throwing up for hours after eating here. And btw....Shula Burger is the only thing I had eaten that day so you can't blame it on anything else. They undercook their burgers, they are SUPER overpriced for measley sized burgers, and it took forever for the food to come out. No thank you. I will avoid this place like the plague from now on.

  • Ansen S.

Great burgers! The beef, bun and side items are very tasty BUT they take FOREVER to make the food. For how expensive they are ( due to premium ingredients ) they should hustle! I would like the burgers to be bigger too but cant win em all. Definitely try them because they are one of the best! If i could give this place a 3.75 i would!

Food regret: It happens to everyone. The husband was hungry--despite all odds--so we stopped in for a burger. Though we had some snacks in hand for the shindig we were on our way too, the call of all-beef and deletable toppings was too much to resist. So my BFF Ariel P. and I split the Wine Country burger. We were only sorry because when we wanted to have brie and tapenade canapés later--we had no room. We were stuffed full of delicious brioche bun, all-angus, goat cheese, roasted red peppers and field greens. With the best chain onion rings I've ever had. Imagine HUGE thirds of onion deep-fried for your pleasure. Served with strawberry jam. Don't think about it-just do it. We'll be back. P.S. More than a decent wine-list. I wonder who their company sommelier is? It's worth looking up.

French onion burger....nuff said.huge on burger and I think I just might have found my new favorite joint .tasty,complex,gourmet.meat itself could use some more seasoning but that is very subjective. Fries are simply made and simply good.definetly would recommend this place.only thing missing is a good selection of beer sadly :/ overall great experience

This is our go-to place for burgers. The meat is amazing, juice and perfect size. They have a nice selection of beers and wines as well as soft drinks. We usually order the California Burger and the Shula Burger (w/ blue cheese) with an order of fries. The service is always great, the food is prepared just as expected and it's extremely reliable. For our taste, we add Shula's steak sauce to the burger and fries which kicks it up notch. Highly recommend Shula's for all your burger essentials!

Very underwhelming-- wasn't expecting much so my expectations were met. Got the balsamic greens, single patty, goat cheese, roasted pepper and tomato burger. It was okay. Nothing exceptional but it wasn't terrible either.

I do not believe in bashing restaurants, or establishments in general. Unless it was an absolute horror from beginning to end, keep the insulting bullshit to yourself. I judge solely based on service (minus wait times), ambiance and food/drink. That said, this is my first 3 star review as opposed to my usual 4 or 5 star reviews (everybody needs LOVE). I'm not a huge fan of fast casual dining as it is, but Shula's menu set up and rushed service is pretty bad. As for the food, the burger was about as thin as Burger King's Whopper (requested medium) and the meat had a bland taste. Maybe I'm a spoiled bitch from my adorned love for B&B and Lokal. The french fries were pretty good. I AIN'T A HATER -TPK

I ventured south to this place for a birthday, anxious and excited to try a new gastropub. As ubiquitous as these places are nowadays, I'm still not tired of them... and when you throw Shula's name into the mix, as Monsieur Candie would say, "you had my curiosity, but now you have my attention." I'll start off by saying that the staff was very good about accommodating our 30-person party, albeit outside. The weather was fairly nice, and we simply didn't fit in the dining area, so we didn't mind dining al fresco. One has to place his/her order at the register inside anyway, so that voided any potential check-splitting complications. They then promptly bring your order to your table rather than having you wait by the counter. I ordered the Wine Country burger, as I couldn't resist the lure of goat cheese. They top off the angus with roasted peppers, balsamic greens, and roasted tomatoes for a savory treat, which I happily wolfed down in a matter of seconds. I tried a bite of the Shula's BBQ burger as well, also tasty. The sweet tater tots were pretty good, but keep in mind that sides are sold separately, as others have already mentioned. They also serve sea salt fries, onion rings (onion bracelets might be a better name - they're huge), fried pickles, and blue cheese chips as options. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, the service was on point (despite the size of our party), and they offer a couple of craft beers on tap, rotated seasonally. Shula may not have the best burger in town, but they are damn close. I will return next time I visit the area.

  • Anna M.

Well I have to agree with the other reviewers who mention this place is overpriced. Though the menu sounds exciting, the taste is not that far from other fast food places. I would not consider this a gastropub, rater, it is a casual dining place. I got a Cesar salad and got some yellow looking romaine that did not taste fresh. I think burgers are better here, so try a burger if you happen to be there.

I'm giving them a five because it's was delicious! I created my own which was amazing, hubby had the Frita burger he devoured it within seconds with onion rings and the strawberry jam sauce OMG!!! I want more!! fast service, good music, wine can't complain

The burgers are always cooked how you order them, I ordered the Southwest and it's a pretty awesome burger. The sweet potato fries and onion rings are legit. One of the best gourmet burger joints I have been to.

Presentation was nice. However, it was extremely greasy and kind of upset my stomach for the rest of the day. I like burgers that aren't too greasy, where you don't feel like you have to run a marathon afterwards to burn off the calories. Overall, it was just ok. Not the best I've had.

  • Max T.

To be fair, the name Shula puts a heavy burden on one's expectations; perhaps expectations that are impossible to live up to due to the Coach's steakhouses. The service is 4 stars. The fries too salty. The onion rings too breaded. The sweet potatoes the better option. The prices of the sides are inflated. I suggest you skip sides. The onion and sweet tots are $4 each!!! The french onion burger is the better one, the bbq burger is okay. Well cooked, good flavors, medium sized burger. The prices for the burgers are $7-$8, and thats okay, but skip the sides, not worth it.

Thumbs up to Shula Burger. Did an online order for the first time trying this place. I figured, it's Shula, it's gotta be good. I had the bbq burger and also tried their sea salt fries and sweet potato taters. All very delicious and held up to my expectations. The bacon was a little tough but it was take out and it's never the same as eating at a place. Oh, and also had their Nutella shake - pretty damn good! Definitely recommend this place.

  • Robert F.

I don't understand! I walked in, stood at the register, explained I hadn't been there before and they looked confused! Shula in Miami has a reputation for doing things right and he missed the boat on this one! After explaining that food is ordered and paid for at the register I asked for a burger " medium rare" and was told they only make burgers " well done " I said goodbye! I read comments on this site that said burgers done to order so I suppose if you like well done then it is! I walked out! If they don't have confidence in their meat and they insist on cooking to " their " order they won't see me there!

  • Sandra M.

Based on the mixed reviews I did not go here expecting a cheap meal or out of this world burgers. What I got was an expensive meal (for a burger joint) and a juicy tender burger. I went simple with a cheeseburger with some garlic mayo and the husband went with a turkey burger. As a side we decided to try the sweet potato tater tots and the onion rings. Final verdict...burgers and Turkey burger are good, tater tots are bleh and onion rings are just okay. What did surprise me is how friendly the employees are. But with all the burger joints around town I'm not sure that this would be in my top five.

Okay, wow. Make that 348 wins for Shula. Best burger I've had in quite some time, and I've been taking the time to make the rounds to all the new gourmet burger joints in Dade & Broward over the past year or two. Excellent beef as you would expect from a Shula restaurant. That sets the tone for the entire sandwich. Excellent sharp cheddar and the Shula BBQ sauce is my fav, at home too! Awesome fresh cut fries, both the regular and Sweets. You can have a nice glass of wine or beer with your supper. And the shakes are hand spun and a perfect ending to a great meal. Ya gotta try it. A true So.Fla. original.
