Wow. We ate here at 4 PM and were the only ones here. My wife has a special diet and the cook confirmed what ingredients were in each item before we ordered. We got the rice soup as an appetizer and the seared tuna for the meal along with a side of grilled spinach. All of the food was excellent. There are 5 tables with 15 chairs and 4 chairs at the counter. Small but well worth it! The restaurant is in a strip shopping center and a little hard to see. This is highly recommended

This Is a great small (5 tables) place , family owned and operated. The family is very personable and really wants to please. The chef himself ask how I wanted the tuna cooked, it was perfect A real find in a plain strip shopping center.....next to the laundrymat.

Crab empanadas were delicate and delicious. Salmon special was full of flavor and braised steak sandwich was amazing.

Yummmmmmyyyyy!! Happen to be down in little Haiti and wanted to get a bite to eat, looked on reliable Yelp for a good spot and as usual Yelp reviewers lead us to this great restaurant!! It's a little hidden gem in a dingy strip mall but so worth going to!! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! We started with chicken empanadas that were out of this world and followed it with the most delicious seafood soup!! They also have decent beer and wine to go with your meal!! Finished the meal off with some great Dominican Republic coffee!! The service was outstanding that the owners Nicholas & Anna gave us, they were so attentive and nice to talk to. If your ever in the area be sure to stop in!! Little Haiti is becoming a nice area to shop & eat!!! Looking forward to seeing & enjoying all the new businesses opening up there!

While the husband and wife have the best hospitality the food was not great based on the raves on yelp. Perhaps it's a local preference vs being from out of town. The fish special was cold- again- maybe that was what it was suppose to be but it just didn't taste right. Hoped for so much more but was let down from 5 star rating. Perhaps their rating will be more balanced with more ratings.

A hidden gem ! Amazing place- a kind of example you give when you say -"don't judge the book by its cover". The fish tastes great and price is very balanced with the served portions. The owner was very charming and polite and we had a great chat. Highly recommended.

I've got to say this place is a hidden gem! The owners are very delightful and the food is spectacular! I highly recommend this place to anyone that is in the mood for a delicious seafood meal.

This place is a hidden gem in the middle of little Haiti in a dingy strip mall. The food is great and the service was great the owners are super nice and the every thing fresh. Will come for sure again this time we had the fish soup, shrimp rice and a potato salad all was great.

First yelp review and worth the wait to write a review. Small hole in the wall spot with big flavors. Had the special, which was tilapia. Savored every bite like it was my last. Had Ana's flan which was great. Felt like I was eating at their house. Highly recommend checking this spot out.

It is a very clean and warm place. This couple are very nice and care about every detail during the meal. What's more important, the food is very fresh and the chef really puts his heart into making those wonderful meals. It is a small restaurant but I feel like I had a wonderful time in a Mechelin restaurant . Love it!

The yelpers never let me down. I found the hole in the wall restaurant on yelp. It was fabulous! Clearly run by mom-and-pop. Not fancy, but very clean. The owners take great pride in their establishment and in their food. We had the conch chowder it was filled with conch and prepared and white sauce and for the delicious flavor. We also had the whole fried yellowtail snapper. The fish was put to perfection. Well seasoned, crispy on the outside moist on the inside. Served with a side of mashed fried green plantains and some sort of vegetable medley. We ordered some sort of shrimp and rice dish. The portion was huge, the flavor was even bigger. The shrimp was plump, juicy and plentiful. The rice was cooked and seasoned in a way that I couldn't possibly duplicate at home. To finish off our fantastic meal we had baked coconut. It was light, fresh and reminded me of a very soft macaroon cookie. As a previous yelper mentioned the restaurant is located in a strip mall and the neighborhood is sort of sketchy. I felt perfectly fine and had no problems, but it is something to consider.

Hoooooow have I not gone to this place before being its 2 minutes away from my job??? Absolutely DELICIOUS food at a very reasonable price. I've only been once but I had the ceviche which was sooooo good and the crab empanada which was even better. All the food that was being served around me (especially the fish) looked and smelled absolutely AMAZING. My coworker had the paella style rice with shrimp and he couldn't stop talking about how good it was. My only small complaint would be that there is no menu online and they were all out when I went to pick up as well. I am DEFINITELY going back. Also, this place is in the HOOD. I don't mind at all, but I know others might.

Hidden in a little strip mall this place is soooo unpretentious I was hesitant - but Everything was just delicious. I had the garlic shrimp with the white rice and red beans, the tostones - made fresh - and the chef sent out some perfect garlic bread - though it sounds like the typical Latin food- it was executed the right way - fresh, hot and tasty. Family run and so polite. What a refreshing change

Hidden Gem? FOR SURE!!! Small, hole in the wall, mom and pop restaurant with OUTSTANDING food and WONDERFUL service... We started off with the crab empanadas which were freshly made. They were hot, crunchy and packed with crab meat... YUMMM!!! I had the salmon with sun dried tomatoes... Oh My Gosh it was sooo good...... I ordered rice and beans as my sides but since I knew the owners are Dominican, I asked if they ever made gandules (pigeon peas), a staple, that I had grown accustomed to in the Dominican Republic and miss very much... They gave me the biggest bowl of gandules... DELICIOUS!!! They also packed up the left over gandules for me and gave me a huge serving of rice to take home so that I may eat them later as well... I sooooo enjoyed having these left overs.... I can not wait to go back and will be recommending this place to everyone...

I love eating at Seven Seas. It is located close to my job and I go there once in a while to grab a bite. The owner and his wife are sweethearts and they take good care of me every time I come in. The food is delicious, my favorite is the Salmon but last time, I had grilled snapper and he put the most amazing avocado sauce on it. Still working my way down to try other menu items but I can't get enough of the salmon. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone passing in the area.

Excellent place to eat seafood and the attention is superb. Please don't let the outside fool you

Personal attention from the chef. Food seasoned to perfection. Not a fancy place, just good food served with care.

I love little Hole in the walls and this place is exactly the reason why! I was quickly seated by the Chefs Wife. She let me know that besides what was on the menu they also had lunch Specials which were already cooked and ready if I was in a rush which I was! I ordered the Tilapia in a tomatoes & caper sauce with white rice & red beans and vegetables. AHHHMAZINGG the fish was huge and so fresh tasting the rice was cooked to perfection and the red beans tasted that like someone's Dominican grandmother cried tears of joy in it lol no but seriously it was delicious! To top it off the Chef came to ask if I was enjoying my meal and that he cooked just like they do in his island. Please don't miss out on this place just because it's in a sketchy area or because they have no menu online. Trust me you won't regret it!

Fine cuisine chef Nicolás won't stop surprising you with all his creations, best crusted ahi tuna in town. Don't forget to try Ana's flan

If you're looking for upscale ambience, and the price tag to match, you should skip Seven Seas. If you're looking for exceptional seafood, personalized friendly service from Chef-owner Nicholas and his wife Ana, all without any pretensions, and for less than half the price you'd expect to pay just a few blocks away, don't miss Seven Seas. My colleagues and I have been working in Miami regularly for months, eating at several exceptional restaurants, and Seven Seas was our very best meal. We had ceviche to start. Made fresh to order, the heat adjusted to your tastes, it was bursting with flavor. One of us had a whole red snapper, and two of us a tuna steak. The tuna was perfect, covered an extraordinary ginger sauce, served over mesclun and buckwheat with a side of sautéed asparagus. We had two good beers to go with the meal - and the entire tab came to $80. It gets my highest recommendation.

Absolutely a hidden gem. The service is top notch. Mom and pop restaurant just like everyone else below says. Owner is willing to make you essentially whatever you want, however you want it. Very accommodating. $8.00 for a Salmon Sand which with a side?! UNHEARD OF! Get over here ASAP!
(5)Julie B.
I'm traveling and I MISS SEVEN SEAS! I'll come back to Miami for Nicholas and Ana's wonderful spirited home cooking! And hospitality! Top notch food at bargain prices and plenty of free parking! A jewel!
