The customer service here is greatly lacking, but it's one of the healthiest "fast food" places near my house. I love the Daily next door, but I can't ever bring myself to order a salad when I love their sandwiches so much lol. The ingredients always look fresh and I get weird looks, but they usually comply with my request to not chop up the salad. I just don't like my salad looking like it went through a blender. Portions are huge, but prices are also quite inflated. I usually pay about $12-14 for a salad with either chicken or shrimp. They get my business because they are healthy and they are only blocks from my house. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Perhaps if the customer service was better?

I have been addicted for weeks now. The service is still slow sometimes, but during the afternoon it's quick (the managers there lol) regardless of the occasional slow service, they are still very sweet staff once you start talking to them. I have been getting the pick 2 combo consisting of a classic caesar salad and a NAPA VALLEY VEGGIE panini for $8 total. AAAHHHMAZING.... eating one right now! the lettuce is so crisp and fresh! Ps- check in on facebook for free drink!

Staff is okay - selection is nice, but the two times I've gone I've had stomach issues after having their salads. Not sure if I just can't handle creamy dressings or it was the actual food. Will give it one more try, with a non-creamy dressing and see how it goes.

My boss brought me here for lunch the other day and only then did I remember that I have been here a few times before. I love this place. It is a potentially healthy alternative to all the other lunch outting spots in the area. I highly recommend the build your own salad large bow. If you get it to go you can still sit and eat what you want and you should have a bit to take home to have with dinner. The salad bar has every topping I could think of in basic and slightly excentric salad make ups. But what I really like is the solid choice of base you get to chose from, spinch, romaine, ice berg, and mixed. being a spinich junkie this is ideal for me. The staff is nice, and fast, but I must compliment the owner on coming out and talking to us, and even knowing my boss from over a year ago, as well as where we work, what other people from our office come in. I could tell he really cared about his customers, and for this factor I am bumping the place up to the fifth star over the four I would have given for just the good food and service. Oh, there is outdoor seating which is great during the Miami winter.

I had a taste for a nice big salad the other night. Their ingredients for the most part are fresh and I really like the variety. This location drives me insane, one visit very good service then the next awful. Before the Mary Brickell location opened, we would frequent this location at least once every two weeks or so. For the price and quality, it is worth it to have a very nicely made salad with whatever you choose to go in it. They recently added walnuts and avocado, extra $$ but at least you have the option now. Hubby ordered his salad with the cold chicken salad, he did not like it at all. He said it tasted horrible. My salad consisted of greens, cucumbers, walnuts, cranberries, feta, american cheese, and salmon. The salmon is pretty good. This paticular evening the service was o.k. This is my favorite place for salads, just hope their service get's more consistent. (Like the other locations)

Great place to grab a quick bite if you are trying to keep it healthy! I must agree with Michelle C though, the service can be such a toss up. There are times when I come in and they're warm and caring about tossing my salad and give it an effort to make my experience as pleasant as possible...on the other hand, there are also frequent times when I feel like I'm just cattle in line at a chop house, even if there is little to no-one standing in line with me. But the ingredients are good, the sandwiches are not bad, and even though their already made salad options are unoriginal (in comparison to other salad bars like Giardino's) you still have a wide array of ingredients to choose from which can make the experience somewhat more exciting.

If you want a quick salad to lunch on then this is your go to spot. This eatery is one that I enjoy taking out lunch for work. The menu is simple and right to the point. It is always spotless when you walk in which is such a nice feeling. Service can be hit or miss...I feel like it all depends on how many people are waiting in line (they get a little overwhelmed). The seating is a little cramped that is why I always take-out.

The salad here is as fresh and yummy as it can get. I've been eating their salad since they worked out of a cart at another restaurant, about 10 years ago. Ah-mazing! There are various selections and you can create your own. There isn't a time I don't absolutely love my salad here and service is quick. Don't freak if you see the line out the door. It'll be just minutes. The four stars are because it is pricey, particularly if you add any protein. This item needs attention!

On my first visit, I thought this would be a solid healthy option for lunch going forward.. then later in the day my stomach felt a little weird. I thought it could be the Caesar dressing.. I mean, it's grass and chicken.. what's there to mess up?? Second visit, ordered the Chicken Caesar again and this time, I saw it. The lettuce was past it's prime (wilted, see through) and the chicken was of the rubbery, flavorless variety. I ate half of it before I had to stop and throw it away. I'm sure their panini's might be a different story. Unfortunately, I will not be going back. I was too grossed out by my second visit to return. The hunt for a decent lunch spot continues..

Love this place for lunch. This is one of the few places that you can get an awesome salad and there are so many to choose from. I love that they make them fresh in front of you. It's also very convenient and fast. I can get in and out in less than 30 min and get back on the road.

Just came from your location in the Promenade in Coconut Creek. And while the service was excellent the food was not far from it. I paid over $12 for a junior salad, with "some" chicken, and a small bottled water. It's no wonder the store was empty at dinner time on a Friday night. The salad was the size of a side salad and the 2 little cups of chicken for $2.50 was embarrassing. Value your name is NOT salad creations.

I love salads but they're time consuming for me to make. Salad Creations has upgraded the quality of their ingredients since they first opened. This location is convenient to Downtown/Wynwood and Midtown and they have free parking. My favorite salad here: Baja Shrimp Cobb. They're great about substituting kale and spinach in mine, in place of lettuce. They also have a lot of options for add-ins, to personalize your salad.

What I love in this place is that they that prep salad section where you can see them make those fine tasting salad. You can see how they sliced those very fresh salad. Not to mention those very friendly chef that would really attend all your needs and would listen to your request. This place also had this good food fragrance that you will smell when you enter their place.

My wife and I came here for lunch yesterday and had an ok experience. The food is fresh, healthy, and tasty. You can order either a salad or a rice bowl and choose the ingredients you want in it. I picked the Asian teriyaki rice bowl and it was decent. Probably should have gone with a salad at salad creations but I was in the mood for rice. The service was average. The lady that took our order seemed upset that my wife didn't want the pre-made Cobb salad that was sitting in the fridge because it had blue cheese and was pre made. She made a new salad but we could barely understand the questions she was asking, not because of a language barrier just because she was talking very low and mumbled in a noisy environment. Took kind of long to get our food but once we got it and sat down we enjoyed our meal. Also a plus was they had plenty of seating inside and out vs some of the places next door which are so crowded you can barely find a seat. I would go back and order a salad, probably create my own.

Not spectacular, not mind blowing, but consistent and fresh. Clean set up, friendly service, plenty of options. The prepared salad options are not creative or imaginative --- Giardano's are much more inventive. Nonetheless, portions are reasonable, if you add too many proteins it gets expensive.
It's perfect for what it is. Create a big salad from 15 different options. Choose dressing, chop it up and you're ready to go. Simple healthy fast food option.

Just like Eve, I first noticed Salad Creations from going to the infamous Daily. Salad Creations is exactly what the name suggests, a place to fulfill your wildest artistic salad needs. I always go for the full size which allows you to go crazy on a huge selection of toppings and add some protein (usually tuna). The carb free asian sesame ginger dressing is delicious! Come here for great salads that eat like a full meal. Best of all you create it and name it whatever the heck you want. P.S. There are wraps available too.

I only recently noticed that Salad Creations had opened right next door to The Daily at 19th & Biscayne, so I knew that I had to check it out, since I'm always on the look out for new places to lunch around my (work) neighborhood. The staff at Salad Creations is very welcoming, and super-efficient, which is nice when each salad is made fresh to order, and there's a line of 5 people in front of you. They have about 8 salads that they've created that you can order, or you can create your own for about the same price. They have 2 sizes, the junior and the full. If you create your own and get the junior, you can only add up to 4 "throw-ins" (all the veggies, cheeses, etc). Protein is extra, of course, if you create your own. They have about a dozen salad dressings to choose from, and you can sample as many as you want before you commit. Also, you can get some of the salads in wrap form, if that's what you're feeling. There's free parking in the Citibank building's garage (the same as The Daily), so get there early to avoid the chaos of the lunch crowd. Salad Creations is a welcome addition to the midtown lunching scene!

I will never go to Giardino's again! After multiple bad experiences there, a friend suggested I try Salad Creations - friendly service, generous portions, great topping selection, easy parking - I don't need much more than that!

Not a fan of this place. I decided to try it today. There are a lot of creative options for salads and tons of add-ins. The prices are very reasonable. I got the Sunshine Cobb, and my boyfriend got the Santa Fe chicken salad. The lettuce isn't as crisp as it could be. The dressings are bland or just completely tasteless. The add-in's aren't really fresh. The tomatoes are mushy. Neither of us cared to finish our salads. When it was time to go, there is nowhere to put your used bowls, but to give it to the guy behind the counter, when he gets a chance to take it from you. I will stick to Giardino's....that's the best salad shop!

After exclusively consuming pizza and junk food for a couple of days straight during my vacation in Miami, I felt the dire need for vegetables. Ergo, I trekked a few blocks from the hotel I was staying at, searching for a large salad, and thankfully happened upon Salad Creations. When I sauntered in, the first aspect of this particular Salad Creations that I noticed is that merely two employees seems too deficient for this establishment (one employee in the back handling maintenance and food preparation while the other stays in the front to take orders, arrange food, and serve as cashier). I had to wait a few minutes because two customers were in front of me, but I can imagine how this Salad Creations is likely overwhelmed (or, "in the weeds" as they say in the restaurant business) when over half a dozen customers simultaneously stroll in. I ate the Buffalo Chicken Caesar salad and also ordered a bowl of chili, both of which REALLY hit the spot: the hearty beans and ground beef of the chili, the crunch of the romaine lettuce, and the pleasing duo of hot sauce and Caesar dressing. Seriously, I NEEDED this. I know. Ordering a salad is generally considered "girly" for a man to do, but even ravenous meat eaters could be satisfied here. Oddly enough, my only real criticism here involves the drink machine. After filling my cup with ice, I had the gall to expect iced tea when I pressed my cup against the iced tea lever. Instead, out flowed water. Silly me! "Eh, I'll have some lemonade instead," I thought. I then pressed my cup against the lemonade lever and, instead, out gushed water. WHAT A FASTIDIOUS PRIMA DONNA I AM!! I mean, who else would be so bold as to expect iced tea from an iced tea dispenser or lemonade from a lemonade dispenser? If this was management's idea of an April Fool's Day joke, they were one day late. Incidentally, the napkin dispenser was also empty, but I ascribe that to the aforementioned deficient employee count. Despite these detracting factors, I'm willing to return to Salad Creations if I'm ever in the neighborhood again.

good salads. yummy wraps. I may not have gone in as many times as other reviewers. However, one of the times I did go in there was a customer being super rude to an employee. The employee had to have the most professional and cool attitudes I've ever encountered. I was pretty impressed.

Service is a little slow, but the salads aren't half bad. Portions are also very large, so I recommend going with the smallest salad size. I usually order one of the signature salads. My favorite is the Chipotle BBQ Chicken salad. They also have a special lunch deal that allows you to choose 2 of the following: salad, soup, and half-panini. I've done this once and feel that it is too much food for lunch if you pair a salad with half a panini. Thus, I recommend just ordering a salad or doing a soup and half-panini. There is seating both inside and outside.

I love this place, great idea to create your own salad. I live walking distance so I pop in often.. they'd get the 5th star if the manager wasn't such a d**k. Not friendly at all! So much for setting an example for his employees.. at least they're super awesome! But, the place is clean, fresh foods, great salads!

Came for a healthy dinner on a weeknight. The fact that a place like this is open in the evening in downtown is a huge bonus for me. I hope this continues to be a trend and more and more businesses lessen their fear of being open late in this area. You can choose from a variety of salads they have on the menu, or make your own. I'm plain jane when it comes to food, so I had a Caesar salad with light dressing. I can really dig a place that makes a Caesar salad taste great, and they really came through. My boyfriend ordered the complete opposite -- an Asian salad with a bunch of extras thrown in. His came out a bit too soggy, so he ended up munching on mine. I used to live in the building where Salad Creations lives, so if I were still a resident I would be pretty happy about there being another options aside from The Daily.

I love a great salad any day. I love this place. Went with hubs last night. I think it's a bit expensive for a salad counter, but my creations are still pretty good. I usually order the Santa Fe salad, and replace the red onions with a bunch of other stuff: eggs, beets, avocado, etc. I like to mix the wasabi and ranch dressings. It's a great combination. The colors chosen for this business are super bring and fun, definitely cheery. I enjoy that you can choose to sit outside or inside, and unlike the sandwich place next door it actually opens "late" (till about 8 pm). But $20 for rabbit food - two salads (one large combo, one small) - is a bit too much for this economy. Hubs usually orders a wrap, which is filling enough for him. The chili and chicken soups are always really good. But really, you can't have soup and salad b/c the salads are so big; and the soups themselves can serve as a meal too. The service is sometimes slow, but that's because they seem to have a high employee turnaround, which means the person serving you is likely new. No biggie if you're a patient person; if you're not, I feel bad for the one making your salad. In all great place - but I want them to bring in goat cheese and dried cranberries :-)

Well, the massochist in me decided to go back. I know, I know, doesn't seem to make sense... truth is, I was in the mood for a salad with everything possible in it, and this was my most economical option. The salad was good. I've determined from my previous review that this place is pretty hit or miss. I got the same lackadaisical staff member but the salad was much better. My beau seconded that. The consensus is that Salad Creations is an affordable eatery, with the potential to be good, you just have to know what to order. Oh, and this time the tofu wasn't still sitting in an enormous pool of that liquid it's normally packaged in. I must say that made my heart go all a-flutter ;)

How this place got 4 stars is beyond me. True they have fresh ingredients and true I didn't feel my arteries swelling up from my meal, but I left hungry and less than satisfied for the price I paid. I had a spicy chicken wrap (don't recall the name but it had hot sauce, cheese, croutons, green peppers, chicken and ranch). It was fresh. That's it. It wasn't good, it wasn't bad. It was bland. The chicken wasn't seasoned at all and their was more wrap than ingredients. There's no preparation involved in the meals. Save your $ buy enough ingredients to make multiple salads at home for the price of one at salad creations. The two reasons I'll come in here is when I'm too lazy or too hungry to make something at home or when I crave an Otis Spunkmeyer cookie!

If you like to eat healthy and enjoy fresh veggies and salads, this place is the non-plus ultra. When I went there was no limit to the amount of mix-ins I could add to my salad, so I had a bit of fun. There was edamame, corn, peas, tomatoes, cucumber, mushrooms, peppers, olives, beet, artichoke, ah I cannot even name all the ingredients, there were so many, and they were all fresh and good. My salad must have weighed over 2 pounds but I ate the whole thing, it was so delicious.

I am a fan of the create your own salad. But the negatives come in the delivery and ordering process. I placed my order online which would usually be my favorite way to place an order, you have all your details in one place and can review your order to make sure it is correct. Well, I don't know where the signals got crossed but of the two plates ordered for me and my co-worker, only one arrived. The delivery person had no explanation to the error, nor did they offer any solution. I had to call the store and wait about 10 minutes while the found the order and confirmed something was missing. There was no offer to expedite it over, no offer of a credit, no offer to remedy the issue at all, just that they could send another driver out but it would be about an hour before it arrived..... Advised to cancel and refund the excess charged, and requested a receipt confirming the refund. I am still waiting on this email confirmation, and the email address listed for the restaurant is invalid. I would like to recommend because there are not many places you can order a good salad and have it delivered, but the ordering system definitely has holes in it that need to be filled and corrected before this would be a place I could order from regularly or a place that I could recommend. Right now, I would say keep looking.

The food is great but the service is horrible an inefficient. There were two people ahead of me in line and it took 17 minutes (yes, I timed it) to make their salads and ring them up. Honestly, it took the guy a full minute to put on the plastic gloves after each order. Bottom line, they just need more staff and better training. If you are looking for a quick meal on the go, dont bother if there is anyone else in line.

This place is AWESOME! The food is great and their ingredients are always fresh. The customer service is EXCELLENT. I went here one night right at closing, and rather than telling me that they were closed, they allowed my Fiancé and I to come in and order. We weren't rushed and they made us feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a healthy meal.

Great food. Can't beat it for a healthy lunch.

If you are a health nut like me then this is the place for you too. They have great selections of toppings, proteins, and dressings. It can get expensive with the protein but for a healthy and filling salad this place works.
