Good food; excellent service. Not bad at all for a strip mall restaurant. They've been there for many years and they have always maintained their quality. Small but cozy. Try their empanadas n chorizos. We've tried most of their cuts...pretty good.

Found this on Yelp and so glad we went! So good! Food service was SLOW! But honestly it was worth the wait. The desserts were unbelievable! Make a reservation so you're sure to get a table...it's small.

Went there once and my food was pretty bad and the service was terrible! We were stuck with the worst waiter and since service was terrible we left little tip and when we were leaving the waiter followed us outside all the way to our car asking for his tip! Never going back for sure

I love this place. The food is amazing. If you are a carnivourous person then you would be very pleased with this place. Even if you are not in the mood for steak, the pasta plates they serve are amazing with such authentic flavors. The service has never failed me and has always been very amiable. Every time I have gone my favorite plate is the Entrana which has always been cooked o perfection. The empanadas have always been very good and very traditional.

Where to begin? Excellent service!!! The waiters did not ever let us run out of our drinks which is quite important to me when i'm stuffing myself, I want a full coke handy to wash down my food ;). As an appetizer we had fried american cheese.... Hot, gooey, melt in your mouth cheese! The hubby had churrasco which was excellent! I had 4 cheese ravioli which was super fresh and delicious. To end the night, we had a dulce de leche flan which was omg!!! Sinfully good. The dulce de leche was authentic dulce de leche like the one you would try in argentina... Which i've happen to had and the average dulce de leche you would buy in a supermarket, will never compare. We will definitely come back again!!!!

Just came here for Mother's Day & was very pleased. The location is just ok, for those of you who speak Spanish, it's definitely in un rincon! But I can't deny that the service was great & so was the food. Their ham & cheese empanada was delicious! It was not greasy or heavy. I'm glad I found a place where I'm guaranteed a good Entraña aka Churrasco & did I mention that their Chimichurri sauce was AMAZING! I love a good Chimichurri! They also have a yummy mashed potato. I was hesitant in getting a desert & end up getting disappointed, but let me tell you that they have a very scrumptious Tres Leches =) I highly recommend that you try this hidden gem out! Barriga llena, corazon contento! / Full stomach, happy heart!

We have been long time customers of Rincon Argentino and have been going for years. Today I was pleasantly surprised when the owner, who always treats us like family, went above and beyond when we decided to take my father to lunch for Fathers Day, but decided last minuute, so we didn't have reservations. When we got there the owner was so kind, and told us that since we are like family and are loyal customers, he would try to squeeze us in and he did! As always, the food was delicious and the service great. I will continue being a loyal customer of Rincon Argentino! It's nice to be recognized as a loyal customer by none other than the owner.

I'm giving this rating not because I had a near flawless experience but because I had a problem with an entree I ordered and it was resolved in a way that is rare in even much more expensive restaurants. I don't often send dishes back unless its really bad or if I sense it will be handled in such a way that in the end my evening will be ruined far further than just letting it go and writing it off. While I think every establishment should strive for the best sometimes "stuff" happens. Its how that's handled that counts alot for me. I wasnt going to say anything, pushed my plate aside, wrote them off and continued eating the garlic potato chips which were really good. My girlfriend (whose platter was pretty good) convinced me to speak up. The woman who was the manager for the evening, (it was a Friday night) felt very distraught/empathetic that I had gotten a bad entree and was immediately on top of the problem. She got me a different entree that was great. Took full responsibility for the problem, told us we did the right thing to bring it up, let us know how concerned she was that we have a good experience. Checked on us several times the rest of the meal. Made sure our bill was correct and encouraged us to always speak up if there is ever any problem. This is such a rare situation of taking ownership and making the customer really feel good that they were right about the problem and shouldnt have to accept it (and no added guilt). It no longer mattered to me whether the food was average, good, great or awesome. She turned what would have been a one or two star into at least a four star and we'll probably come back again and give it another go. Other restaurants should take a lesson from that.

They were severely understaffed on Mother's Day. I think I saw our waiter once when he took our order and the rest of the time it was a polite lady at the front desk refilling my drink. It took them 12 minutes after we sat down to take our drink order, after we ordered our food it took 25 minutes to get that. The staff walking around in between all that time were strategically avoiding eye contact. Once the food came out it was just ok. I ordered the skirt steak and the meat was nowhere near the caliber of the famous Churrasco Presidente from Los Ranchos or the food in general that they have at Texas de Brazil. The food was also overpriced too. I paid $120 after a 15% tip for a table of 3 which is $40 a plate. Not worth that in my honest opinion. I would also like to add that there was a table of 10 in the house at the same time as us and the wait staff were hovering around that group catering to their every need. So I guess next time I'll bring 7 more people to eat with me so that they can pay more attention to us. Nothing special here.

I really hate to write poor reviews, but after my last visit to Rincon Argentino I knew I had to warn my fellow yelpers. My family has frequented this restaurant for many years. Three things they do extraordinarily well: 1. a white bean salad that is (usually) served complimentary with the bread. This stuff is so good, my mom and I literally will ask them for a huge order of it & eat just that. 2. fresh made potato chips 3. Fried mozerella (but come on how can you possibly mess up fried cheese?) In the past, although it was never my favorite restaurant, the food was at lest decent. However, on my last visit the food was not only terrible, but the menu changed (and there was an increase in prices). This was never an inexpensive restaurant to being with (in my opinion it has always been slightly over priced). But, now with the new menu prices it is pretty ridiculous for a strip mall restaurant that for the most part is medicare. Apparently, along with the changes in prices also came with a change in Chef. My mom's steak was SO overcooked, mine came out so raw we had to send it back. I'm sorry but at over $25 a steak I would hope that it would at least come out at the proper temp. My boyfriend ordered a pollo milanese that was supposed to have a fried egg on top- the egg was so overcooked and rubbery. Service was spotty, it was extremely hot inside the restaurant, & worst of all, no more white beans. This past experience left us in shock, and with no intentions of returning for a while.

I am an extremely frugal person. With that being said, I would never visit this place under normal circumstances. However, I found a website called localdines.com where you purchase restaurant certificates for 20-50% off so I decided to try this one out as it was not far from home. We arrived at the restaurant (can't recall which day) and they had closed in the middle of the day for two hours. A sign posted said they would return at a certain time which they did not. We had planned our day around this and we ended up having to change everything as we missed a movie we had scheduled. For whatever reason, we decided to wait. The server was rude and never explained why a restaurant would close for two hours in the middle of the day. The dishes were okay but not exquisite. The regular prices were in no way a reflection of the meal quality, the discount prices were decent. I'm always in favor of trying stuff once but we live in Miami, Florida... there are a million restaurants and there's no need to go here more than once.

This Rincon Argentino was OK and overpriced given what follows. My hubby and I stopped by for lunch. We've driven by this restaurant for years and never seemed to make our way in. After today's meal, perhaps our sixth sense was steering us away. We started off with sangria and calamari. The calamari were very fresh and well seasoned, coupled with two tasty dipping sauces. Couldn't say the same for the sangria. It tasted like one of those pre-mixed sangrias in a bottle. We decided to take it back. For our lunch entree, we had one of their steaks (entraña-type cut of meat) $15.95 with steamed veggies. Both my husband and I asked for medium well, but both came well done. Honestly we didn't have the time to send it back so settled for the well done steak instead. The veggies were bland, no seasoning or the like. The presentation was majorly lacking-I could have probably outdone this place from home in both presentation and taste. We decided to pass on dessert given the preamble. Don't think we'll be back.

This is our go-to Argentinean restaurant. In the past, we would have rated this 4 stars, but it has been absolutely amazing recently. I haven't found a tastier skirt steak (entraña) or sweetbreads (mollejas) in town. Desserts are all delicious, but I usually go for the crepe with dulce de leche. Be sure to ask for "Carlos" as he is an excellent and friendly server.

This place was horrible! I don't understand some of these reviews. Their meats are below average on every level. I ordered a 10oz Entrana which was 18.95, and it had no flavor, and was rubbery. No joke. Their sides are lame! The rice tasted like microwaveable box rice....I read a review on here from a Linda n she was so dead on about the veggies. My party also ordered the the parrillada. The vacio was worse than the Entrana n the chorizo under cooked the ribs average the chicken was ok n the sweet bread was ok. The highlight of the evening was their white beans in garlic&oil sauce they serve with the bread at the beginning. So disappointed. The whole experience was below average at a pricey cost. Never again!

Tried this place for the first time on Easter Sunday, and I have to say I'm slightly disappointed. I'll start off by saying the service was phenomenal, friendly, funny, and very helpful. The food on the other hand not so much, I had the entraña steak and it was pretty bad, absolutely no taste. What made matters worse was how incredibly over priced it was. 25 bucks for a steak with one side. It's safe to say I'll stay away from this place.

The service and ambiance are phenomenal. The food you definitely have to have a liking for though. It is not for everyone, as it stays true to an authentic Argentinian menu. There is no American fusion here. I'm not a huge fan of meat, so keeping that in mind, I'd say my visit was good, but not great. I found it to be a bit pricey for what it is, but I am not a meat connoisseur so I may have been paying for the quality of the cut. I would definitely recommend it for true carnivores or fans of authentic Argentinian food.

Manolo P.
This place is overpriced and has bad service. A small one-person take-out portion of steak, rice, and potato salad ended up costing me $28 and the food turned out cold and not good. Gave the place a second chance months later by eating in, and the service was poor.

They charged me twice for dinner & I contacted them various times regarding this issue. They did not respond after several attempts and the manager told me she would call me back. Three days later NO CALL BACK! In speaking to others, they have done this in the past. I will NOT be returning due their lack of ethics!

Great service, great food! It's a small place, well hidden buy I was impressed with the service and food. Definitely we'll come back! I had the vacio, my girlfriend had the entraña, both were awesome.

More like 4.5 stars. This happens to be a family favorite of ours as we live close by and there's never a long wait. The waiters are all really friendly and even recognize us and say hello when we walk in. I've seen some of these waiters there for years. We always get the same and we're not disappointed. We split a parrillada for 2 (this thing can feed a lot more than 2, usually 4 of us split it) and get the matambre appetizer and watercress salad. The food always comes out promptly and hot. We have never had a problem with the service or the food. It is consistently good. Pros: - MUST get morcilla. I LOVE their morcilla. Mix it with some rice.. mMmmM good - Good portion sizes - Friendly, knowledgable staff - Mil hojas is the best dessert - Sangria is yummy Cons: - The portions for the side dishes are pretty small. I wish they'd give more rice at least,

Can't say I agree with these reviews. The staff was friendly but the food and the prices they charged ruined it. They didn't do Italian or Argentinian food any justice. The nice people there earned this place the extra star.

Dear Rincon Argentino, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here, and even better, was enjoying the leftovers the next day! I had never been to either location, so I was definitely interested in seeing what all the hype was about, as I had actually heard a lot about the Coral Gables location. So on a random Friday night a few weeks ago, we happened to make our way over to the Kendall location. When we arrived, we were quickly seated at a nice table towards the front, but away from the majority of the people. The menu is extensive and offers traditional Argentinian dishes. Looking lost, the owner came over to talk to us and help us out. He suggested some items, and then suggested a bottle of wine, an atypical red. We started with the Queso Provolone Argentino, which was this delicious fried cheese dish. We accompanied that with the Chorizo, which was out of this world. The cheese and sausage combo was so good, I could hear my arteries clogging! :) We decided to share a 28 oz. Parrillada of Entraña con Cuero, meaning that it comes with a layer of skin still on it, which when cooked, it just an added layer of perfection (although it makes it a tad tough to cut). To accompany this, we opted for the Papas Caseras Provencal - basically potato-garlic heaven. They are homemade potato chips covered in garlic and some parsley, fried to perfection. We literally had an entire meal left over when we finished. Throughout our meal, the service was superb. Our server checked on us often during the meal, and always ensured to come by and refill our water and wine glasses. I'm definitely looking forward to returning and trying some of the Italian pasta dishes, as well as plenty of other items on the menu as well. A great Friday night date-night with my love. Thanks for a great experience. See you soon! All the best, SabrinaAnna*

My department came to Rincon Argentino for a lunch to celebrate a successful audit. We were a group of 20 and the attention we were given was impressive. Everyone ordered easily and was happy with their meal. For appetizer they brought us provoleta, chorizo, and beef empanadas. All were delicious. The sangria was also so good my coworker made the waiter dictate the ingredients! The lunch specials here are great! Very affordable and the portions are generous. My favorite is the steak sandwich but i usually order the vacio. Because we were such a large group i was able to taste all the desserts and i can tell you without a doubt to order the pancakes with dulce de leche, chocolate mousse, alfajores, and the tiramisu! WOW!

I have been at R.A. for lunch, as part of group, twice. Both times the service was very good, we had an excellent waiter. As for the food, I would say stick to their steaks. I tasted some of their appetizers and they were not very good, dry, overcooked. I did not care for their wine selection either. The restaurant is located in a small shopping center, that can be described as 'ghost town'.

Just as delicious as the original location. The morcilla was delicious and the short ribs and skirt steak perfectly tender. The potato salad was a little bland. The parpadelle was fantastic.

The food is really good & tasty but the service on the other hand needs improvement. The waiter that served us was slow and unattentive. Pretty pathetic if you compare it with other establishments. Service is a reflection of management and the restaurant in question. What could have been three plus stars was killed by a shabby waiter who should seriously consider a career change. If I were the owner I'd definately regulate.

i love this restaurant. same as the one in the gables. tucked away in the back of greenery mall, if you didnt know it was there you might miss it. the staff is always nice, prices are affordable, and the food is delicious. my parents go here all the time and i tag along with them every now and then. i usually go with an entrana and some papas casera. the berro (aka watercress) salad is my moms favorite. i also love the empanadas - meat and ham/cheese. oh they make a great chicken marsala. and the pasta with pink sauce is also good.

We were in town visiting from Oregon for a friends wedding. We were staying at Kendall Suites just down the street and stumbled upon this little shopping center where this restaurant was located. We arrived without a reservation but only had to wait about 15 minutes and I was able to enjoy a nice glass of red wine while waiting. The food here was amazing! I had the chicken fettuccine alfredo and my boyfriend had the shortrib. The pasta was fabulous, the noodles were homemade but not heavy and the sauce was just right. The shortrib was definately not what we had expected. It was a nice big hunk of meat smoked and then grilled to perfection. If we are ever in the area again we will certainly come back to this place. The service was fast and efficient as well.
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

What made matters worse was how incredibly over priced it was. 25 bucks for a steak with one side. It's safe to say I'll stay away from this place.

My food here was amazing, pricey, but well worth the $$.

WOW!

Simply great Argentine food. Every time I go to Miami, this is a must stop. The entrana and the empanadas are very very tasty. The atmosphere is very pleasing as well.
