Went to have dinner at Rincon Argentino in Coral Gables on a beautiful Sunday evening with my significant other and I. We opted to sit outside since weather permitted. We were very pleased with the service right off the bat since we were immediately given water and our order was taken promptly. We ordered: Appetizer: Provoleta Argentina (absolutely delicious) and the watercress salad (yumm!) Entree: We both order Entraña (skirt steak) with a side of ensalada rusa (delicious) -steak portion was good, very juicy, tasty, and delicious Dessert: Crepes with dulce de leche (delicious!!) I think these are some of the best crepes I have had in town Overall, the service was great, food was delicious, and we felt like the price was good and fair for the quality and the portions you get. We left stuffed! Would come here again.

The place itself is very quiet and nice but the service was so slow and I thought maybe the food would make up for it and no luck. My bill was $65 for the two small, burnt and no flavor pieces of steaks. The service saw we were unhappy and didn't say or mention anything. It was very disappointing. A bad day in the kitchen could happen anywhere but this is the first place that they do nothing about it. The bus/water boy was the only one to try to give us extra attention because he notice something was wrong.

Came here for dinner since we wanted to try something new. The place is small and doesn't look like much from the outside but it's cozy and nice inside. I was not impressed with the service. It wasn't as horrible as some reviews I've read but it certainly wasn't great, specially after we got our food. We didn't see the waitress for what seemed like eternity and then got a smart a$$ response from water boy when I asked about our server. We had the entraña (skirt steak/churrasco) which came with one side (chose rice) for $19, ordered an extra side of (fries) for $3 and had the balcarce for dessert ($8). I wanted a Caesar salad but refused to pay $10 for it. Steak was cooked perfectly and that is the main reason for my 4 star review. It was tender and juicy but I wish their chimichurri had been better.

Really really good. But you have to love Argentine cuisine. I had provoleta for appetizer, parrilla for two, with watercress salad accompanied by Malbec wine. Very very good.

Curiously wanted to see if this restaurant is still in business and it is. My family and I ALWAYS used to drive to this restaurant from miami beach, which is a bit of a hike & annoying with traffic but it was always worth it (even if we went in two different cars full of kids, yes I was a child when I used to go but the food was always so good that it still lurks in the back of my head). They changed owners a longg time ago and things seemed a bit different, so I don't know who it is now. Steaks were absolutely delicious. Churrasco melted in your mouth. Chorizo was mouth watering and the french fries were so simple and yet so crunchy. If I remember correctly they also had really good croquettes. Miss this place!

Venerable. That's one word that fits this place. It's an institution. Same flavorful steaks as 12 years ago. Same pencil-thin fries from 15 years ago. Same pony-tailed argentine server who makes fun of foolish patrons who order their steaks well done from 20 years ago ("ughhhh, I suppose you want that with rice and black beans!"*) *translated from thick Argentinian accented Spanish. It's small, intimate, fantastic service, consistently excellent food and wonderful service. What keeps it from being five stars? It's venerable. Nothing is a flight of fancy here. And you know what? Sometimes that's just fine.

I went to dinner with my boyfriend the day after Valentines, it was our valentines dinner because we both worked the 14th. Went here with my husband on a Friday night. We sat outside and seems like that might have been a mistake. The service was way too slow and The food wasn't worth the wait. The waiter never came back to check on us. The Waterboy was the only one on his game. I wood have preferred to have him as my waiter. The rest of them were MIA. The table next to us was very dissatisfied as well. The guy was a big boy, to say the least, and it would seem like a restaurant would be interested in keeping someone like him happy. However, when he complained to the manager the guy only made up excuses for the poor service and didn't do anything to try to rectify the situation.

Food quality is still good, but prices are way up and side order portions are shrinking. I am not sure how much they can save by rationing rice and potatoes. Bread quality seems lower, but that usually varies. The original owner is back. I have been coming here for 15 plus years, so I notice these little changes.

Prices are fair for the meal you get and is great for families with kids. They have an excellent wine selection and the steaks hit the spot. They have private parking. The only area that needs immediate attention is their bathrooms since they are very outdated.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First off the service was horrible. Waiter would disappear and would not even check on us. We sat outside and when my boyfriend would try to flag her down for something she wouldn't even look our way. The food also took forever to get to our table, to make matters worse we ordered a NY strip (bife de chorizo) and the meat was more like well done. We called the manager and told him we had ordered the meat medium. He said that well-done was medium ...basically not being held accountable for the problem and did it as a favor to have another one sent to us. Pitiful. About 15 minutes later another steak came out and that shit was rare! Of course it was! How could you cook a medium thick cut steak in 15 min??? To continue to discuss how bad the service was in this place, the manager nor our waiter never came back. We had to ask another waiter or should I say TELL him we weren't paying for the steak and that we just wanted to check. Nobody ever came back out. Do yourself a favor and don't spend your money. You are better off at Graziano's.

Another commenter mentioned the rude waiter with a ponytail and couldn't agree more. I use to go to come her often as a kid and was thrilled to come back after having such fond memories of El Rincon Argentino. The food is fantastic but must again emphasize that the waiter ruined our experience. Not only did he ignore my bf and I (we were part of a party of 12) we had to ask him numerous times for a number of things. The bus boys were very attentive and extremely kind (someone needs to promote them and demote the waiter). The waiter insisted on having a combined bill and kept saying that it was no problem to then divide it at the end. When we asked for our tab the waiter only took two credit cards at a time and didn't even acknowledge the fact that I was on a time crunch and needed to leave ASAP. After about 10 minutes he finally took my CC and I had to wait 30 minutes, 30 MINUTES to receive my bill and find that the idiot filled in the tip and total portion of my bill. THATS EXTREMELY ILLEGAL! I understand that servers are scared that they will not receive proper compensation because of the new law stating that gratuity is optional even for a party of 6 or more, but that was beyond insulting.

After going to their website and drooling at the menu what a MAJOR let down. The ribeye was this small little piece of meat that tasted like they got it from Walmart. My wife got the chicken Milanese parmigiana. They served her a beef Milanese instead which actually was decent. We sent it back and they brought out this dried out piece of chicken which we gave up on. They comped the meal but we are not going back.

Only two words describe this restaurant: "Thumbs Up"!!!!! Starting with the bread and finishing with the dessert. The ribeye and entraña steaks were delicious, tender, seasoned and cooked to perfection. The sangria and the Balcacer (Peach, dulce de Leche and Spanish frosting over a thin layer of cake) were to die for. The service was excellent, friendly and sincere. The ambience and decor were superb. The hand-crafted wood ceiling, gives this restaurant an unique personality. Go, go, go, you will not regret it! Five, well deserved Starts.

Very disappointed with my experience. I saw the ratings but didn't read any reviews before trying this place and I should have. People mention rude waiters? Check. Overpriced food? Double check! I would add to the list underseasoned as well. This seems to be a family-owned restaurant and I wanted to like it but as soon as we walked in it was difficult. As others mention if you don't speak Spanish this will not be fun. We were sat at the worst table, right near the bathroom entrance... The place wasn't even full but they told us other tables were "reserved" alright I move on. I ordered the meat because it's an argentine place right? Well, wrong! They bring me the wrong cut. I also ordered well-done but as it turns out they don't "recommend" that. Last I checked you go to a restaurant to get something made to order to your liking... Well I had to send the bloody meat back again. I felt like this dinner would never end! No, I don't recommend it.

These steaks are on point. Pure Argentine skills. Beef short ribs, rib eye, whatever its all good, served with fries. People probably drink wine with this, but iced tea is good too. Nice with some chimichurri. Blood sausages probably not bad, or sweetbreads. Argentine food is simple, its for when you're in the mood for just really really good beef. Probably best steak i've ever had, i love all the fat and the crispiness of the grilled steak.

I went here on a date night and was not impressed. Although the food was great, a lot of restaurants forget that going out to eat is about the experience - an therefore good food is not enough, you have to provide excellent service. The service was eekk.. The waiter was an older man who completely ignored us half of the time. He was not attentive and whenever he actually came to ask us if we wanted/needed anything, he was less than enthusiastic about it. We will probably not be going back.

No one wants to be treated like their being discriminated against and unfortunately that is exactly how my fiance and I felt when we ate here recently. Our waiter, some older dipshit with a pony tail, was rude, presumptuous and crass. First of all, I have absolutely no idea why this guy would treat us like crap- we were dressed nicely, we were hungry and oh I'm sorry we're paying for this meal. I wanted a salad, my fiance inquired- he barked that it costs extra and some how eluded to the fact that the idea of wanting a salad was so alien that he again reiterated that to order a salad for us to share was extra. Right off the bat I knew this guy's intentions were to try to rip us off. He suggested a parillada that did not have sweetbreads in case we didn't want it and again it would cost extra to substitute for another piece of meat- fine. We ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir, the wine list was taken away and then he returns with a bottle we did not order which wound up being more expensive when we received our bill. His service was in such poor taste that I had to see if he was treating the other patrons in the same manner- all which seemed a bit older than our ages (which my fiance and I are in our early 30s)- lo and behold every other table were sharing a salad, and nothing was mentioned about an extra cost. He did not rudely push any plates in front of them as he did with us and seemed almost gracious in his mannerisms with everyone else- I was so furious I unable to enjoy my meal and dying to get out of that place. Of course one would think to speak to the manager but he was clearly drunk and a little sloppy. I've had much better parilladas and service at a cheaper cost. In other words F this place.

Most likely the best ribeye I've ever had. My boyfriend took me here for dinner, and I will say that it was the fastest turn around I have ever seen on an order, especially one with steak. Everything was phenomenal and the waiters took care of everything. The decor is really interesting too. Very authentic.

Visited Rincon Argentino today during my lunch break with my coworker to try out their famous lunch specials they promote. They carry a variety of dishes from 7.95 to 11.95 Monday through Friday during lunch hours. My coworker and I both chose the Vacio a la Parrilla ( Grilled Flank Steak) This dish was accompanied with french fries and they were both cooked to perfection the fries were hot and crispy and The steak was cooked exactly how I asked. It was about a 10 oz steak and it was very tender and juicy no sauce or add on needed for flavor! The service was a little lazy. I got more attention from the bus boy than I did from the waiter. Had to signal down someone for water about 3 times and once we finished eating it took us 10 minutes to find someone to bring us our bill. The check out process was too long for my liking especially having only an Hour lunch. The food and price was so good that it excuses the boring service we received.

My cousins Issey and Gabby picked us up from our hotel, we had a plan for our day - let's get the best food in Miami. I wanted some latin food, I like to do my "research". Issey is a foodie like me, so not only did she pick the spot - she ordered all the food. *Swoon* The sad thing is that when my phone was stolen, I lost the pictures of my yummy meal - so use your imaginations.... We ordered two Steak lunch specials to share. OMG, the steak. I ordered mine Medium Rare. It was so juicy, slightly charcoal grilled on the outside and so freaking good. We ordered one with french fries and the other with salad. The green chimmichurri sauce is amazing on everything including the bread they bring you. We also ordered a side of housemade chorizo sausage. Delish! We split the two plates and sides between 4 girls and we were ready for a food coma after. It was so delicious, I'm ready for more. Just another reason to miss Miami.

I came here for Miami Spice. I was surprised to see that they had their own personal lot considering most of Miracle Mile is metered and garage parking. The area is a walk from the busy streets of Miracle Mile. When we first walked in, we were greeted warmly by the hostess. She had mistakenly given our table to another couple (oh the nerve of some people...), but she was quick to find us a seat without having us wait with the walk-ins. The atmosphere was friendly, energetic, and definitely family friendly! The staff were not intimidating unlike most of the other restaurants in the area (other restaurants around there are snobby if you ask me). Since it was our first time there, we basically placed our meal in our waiter's hands. Boy did he deliver! The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. By the time we got to dessert we were ready to roll ourselves out of there! I'm reluctant to give them the full 5 star mark because I haven't had items on their main menu yet. But I know for sure we'll be going back!!!

Dependable place for a good steak in a casual Argentinian setting. Food and service are very good and the prices are fair. You are greeted by the requisite glass-enclosed asador, where you can see (and smell) the beef short ribs slowly roasting over a wood fire. This place has been here forever and is perfect for dinner with family or friends....not exactly a first date spot. Free, easy parking in their own lot. Beer and wine only.

The best steak and sausage if that's what you're looking for. I would definitely go over and over again.

I have to give 1 star, because 0 stars was not an option. Honestly, this place is just not good. First, decor is awful. Rows and rows of pictures of people who have eaten hanging on the wall is always a bad sign. Look, I know you're an Argentinean steakhouse. You don't need cheesy paintings of cowboys and spurs hanging on the wall. Service, even by Miami's low standards, was incredibly poor. Wait 10 minutes and finally go get menu's yourself? Check. Wait 10 minutes and finally go get drink menus yourself? Check. Have to ask someone for water? Have to ask someone to please, please, come and take your order? Check. The staff's general disinterest would be funny, were they not actually working in a service industry. The food. The meat was....decent? But, I mean, how difficult is it to throw a pile of meat on a grill? By Miami Argentine restaurant standards, this meat was on the lower end. The real joke was the sides. Order vegetables and be ready to be served a plate of microwavable veggies that you buy at the grocery for $0.99. And then to have them not even be warm. French fries are similarly taken frozen from a box and microwaved to a soggy lukewarm temp. Very appetizing stuff. With so many good Argentinean restaurants in Miami, it will be easy to never, ever return to this one.

Hands down my go to place for a classic ribeye steak the way it should be done. The place is not very big but is decorated in cow hide and artifacts and has a more interment setting. The staff is friendly and attentive. Have your choosing of any meat as its always tender and juicy(Leave the A1 sauce at home)

Not the best place in the world, especially with the price and the food not being entirely commensurate. Our meal consisted of the following items: House Red Wine Chicken Broth with Rice Provoletta Chorizo and Black Sausage Sirloin Steak Short Rib Flan Ice Cream I am not going to go in-depth in this review because I already plan on returning. I have been able to filter through some of the items and no better what to stay away from. Do NOT order the fried cheese (provoletta), sausages or short ribs as the flavor does not warrant it. The sirloin and soup were rather good and the red wine was above average. Never attempt to eat the flan. It had the texture and flavor of what I can only imagine is a sponge imbued with dirty dishwater. I shall return and hopefully have more tantalizing tidbits.

Went here for family night with my sister and her kids. An excellent place to bring children. The staff are very courteous and patient. However the real reason to come to Rincon is the food. Not surprisingly we all ordered some form a grilled meat (it is an Argentine restaurant after all). Every cut was prepared and season to perfection. For those who requires a little sause with their meat the nothing standard about it green sauce and pico de gallo are provided. I shared the Parrillada Argentina (Argentine Barbecue) with my father. A mini-grill was place before heaped upon it were various cuts of meat and fowl. If your hungry or are nit sure what you want to try...this is the best sampler plate ever! We all finished the meal with crepes de dulce de leche. Rincon is a hidden gem no longer, but it will feel like one given its location off Coral Way.

Really really good. But you have to love Argentine cuisine. I had provoleta for appetizer, parrilla for two, with watercress salad accompanied by Malbec wine. Very very good.

The first time I went to Rincon Argentino, it was YEARS ago and I vaguely remembered that I didn't have a good impression (in other words, I wasn't jumping to come back) but the boyfriend had gotten a Groupon and we both figured it was Argentinean food, how could you go wrong? Actually, you CAN go wrong when it comes to steak. But first things first -- we arrived on a Friday night and we should have known something was up because it was kind of empty. But no matter, maybe we were just a little early. We were seated and we did get good service. However, just starting with the bread they gave us... My boyfriend who has never turned down a slice of bread in his life couldn't eat the bread they served us. It just tasted horrible. Then they brought him a Coke, instead of a Diet Coke. Maybe they couldn't believe a man was drinking Diet Coke? We didn't say anything because we had ordered an appetizer (provoleta, or grilled provolone cheese) and how could you go wrong with cheese? It was okay. Nothing to write home about. Next, we ordered the steaks, bife de chorizo, and I asked for mine medium and the boyfriend asked for his medium well. He had to return his because was undercooked (he can't eat it bloody). The actual steak? I've made that steak at home. I've made it better at home. I was really disappointed. I ordered the baked potato with it which wasn't anything great either. I've made better potatoes at home. The boyfriend got the home fries which weren't "home fries" but rather chips. Nothing great either. We were both disappointed with the quality and the taste of the steaks. I've had much better food elsewhere for the same price. We wanted to end the meal with something right, so we ordered the dulce de leche crepes, which were okay. Nothing particularly wrong with them, I might have put less dulce de leche in them and I may not have used the blow torch on the sugar to make the hard crunchy caramel top because it was too much, but it was edible. At the end of the night, the whole meal cost around $75. It was NOT worth those $75. Take that money, buy some good steaks at Publix and make the same meal at home. I have a good recipe for steaks that you can use.

Excellent Steakhouse and has also amazing pasta dishes. The service has always been very amiable and very ready to provide whatever you need or want. I have gone since I was much younger and I cannot recall a bad experience with the food or the service. My favorite appetizer are the empanadas and my favorite main dish is the Entrana. I very highly recommend for anyone who is a meat lover.

They have some of the best empanadas de carne I've ever had here. Completely mouth watering! The sides are plentiful and taste incredible, the chimichurri is spot on, and the steaks are always juicy and cooked right to order. I love this place and it's only improved throughout the years!

Was in South Florida for a quick gateway this past October. For a few days away from office, besides the sun and fun, I was rewarded with an authentic 'parrillada' @ Rincon Argentino. The friendly and attentive staff, promptly brought us the 'parrillada' for two, which consists of cuts of mollejas, morcilla, chorizo, tira de asado (short ribs of beef) and chicken, along with two bottles of cerveza Quilmes (beer). I grew up in Buenos Aires, and this parrillada argentina is a good as anything I ever had in my childhood there, if not better. Tender, juicy and barbequed just right. Authentic is the word here. Again, I can't emphasize enough how much the friendly staff made you feel like a special guest there, always attentive and ready for a hearty chat about steak or about Maradona and football. Knowing that I was from Queens NY, a waiter even gave me some tips about where to find the best Argentine dinning in my town (hint: in Jackson Heights) If you are a meat-lover and you are in the area, you owe yourself a visit to this quintessential Argentine culinary heaven @ Rincon Argentino.

3.5 stars The meats are excellent here. The steak was delicious, perfectly cooked and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and attentive; however, I'm not a big fan of being greeted by everyone in Spanish. They could at least great everyone in both languages, which would be much more inclusive. Atmosphere was very cozy. Imagine yourself in a rustic Argentine lodge with the meats cooked in a main oven for all to see. I liked it and was a nice change from the typical Miami restaurant scene of style over substance. Overall, I'd recommend this place. There is a lot of competition from different steakhouse in the area(Grazino's, Ruth's Chris, Morton's, just to name a few); however, the intimate feel of the place and the meats themselves set them apart. Check this place out.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at Rincon Argentino. We wanted to try some Argentinean food so based on some yelp reviews this was our place. It is a very cozy place with gaucho items on the walls and ceilings covered with wood carvings of gaucho scenes. There is a traditional fire roast with meat cooking. Service was excellent. We throughly enjoyed the staff as they explained the different dishes we ordered. We tried the fried cheese appetizer and the Balcarce cake, the flan, and much more. They all were very good.

I have to apologize because I said I was going to write this two days ago, right when I left the restaurant because I was so excited about this place. After being told about the Miami Spice restaurant month, I came accross this restaurant on the list of participants and thought I would give it a try on the last day of my vacation in Miami. Sure the building isn't in a prime location, but it is still a good area, right off the miracle mile in coral gables. I was a little worried because there were not that many cars in the parking lot, nor were there a ton of people inside. The friendly wait staff sat us and made a reccommendation for a bottle of Argentinian Malbec. Our server, which we didnt get his name, was extremely friendly and made amazing reccommendations from the Miami Spice menu. I had Matambre with Russian salad, which was really really good, the beef short ribs and some rosemary potatoes. Its importatnt to note that the short ribs were probably the size of a small cow. Me, being the size of a small grizzly bear, had no problem eating a small cow's ribs, but I was amazed by the giant portion. Aside the size of the portions, this meat was perfectly cooked. I have friends that spend $200 on dinner in San Diego and do not get meat this well cooked. The meat was very flavorful, juicy, tender and melted in my mouth, Most importantly the price was right. My girlfriend had beef carpaccio with arugala salad, the meat was thinly sliced and flavored deliciously, For her entree she ordered the filet mignon in some kind of delicious orange sauce with provalone cheese melted over it. The portion was the size of my fist and was cooked to perfection. Our fellow yelpers informed us that we should order the Balcarce cake, which we did and it was delicious. It was a spongy cake layered with peach slices, a whipped cream and topped with a merengue crust. We also ordered some other amazing dessert which was like a layered cake with thin pieces of pastry layered with dulce de leche cream and topped with whipped cream. I would definitely go back when I visit Miami, I would highly reccommend this place, the wait staff was by far the friendliest we encountered in our trip to Miami. The food and ambiance reminded me of the three weeks I spent in Argentina and I left full and satisfied.

My father-in-law hosted my wedding rehearsal dinner at this Rincon Argentino location. We used the private room for about 30 people (including a bunch of kids). The service was excellent and the food was even better. They came by with platters of amazing Argentinean steak and chicken. For the carb-lovers, they offered several pasta choices ranging from some AWESOME gnocchi to ravioli. I still dream about the gnocchi... The wine was ever-flowing and everyone had a fantastic time. I would definitely recommend Rincon Argentino for both a regular night or a special occasion. DO NOT LEAVE THIS PLACE WITHOUT ORDERING THE BALCARCE CAKE. This is a must-have Argentinean dessert that is filled with peaches and dulce de leche and topped with some crispy meringue. Love.

We had the grilled meat plate for two and it was great. Way too much food but good overall. Some of the food was a little bit oily but it was generally well cooked and the wine pairing was great. Liked the place.

I have been going to this restaurant since I was a child. It's on my top 5 list of restaurants, and it's the one restaurant to which I compare all other Argentine restaurants! Over the years, I have tried almost everything on their menu. I have yet to eat something there I don't like. My absolute favorite meal there is starting off with butterfly cut chorizos and a ham and cheese empanada (the best ever!) then having an entrana with fries or their papas caseras (which is basically homemade pop potato chips) and finishing off with either the dulce de leche crepes, a tres leches, or their chocolate mousse. I must admit that this favorite meal of mine is s alot of food so I love to go in a group and share the appetizers and desserts. The wine is also spectacular! And it's the best service in town. The owner, Miguel, and his family and staff are all sweethearts and always willing and able to go above and beyond to make the entire dining experience amazing. Even writing this review is making me hungry! This is a restaurant that I will continue to go to always!

The private room for about 30 people seemed like the most appropriate choice for a wedding rehearsal dinner. My only qualm was that once you were seated, you were seated for a while. I found it a bit difficult to maneuver so I was left to chat to those in proximity and then make googly eyes at those out of range. For this reason, seating was a bit awkward but I guess that's what happens when you have such a large party. Fear not, all is not lost! The service was indeed magnificent as was the food. There was a little bit of everything, for everyone. Meat-lovers got to divulge in some terrific steak and chicken; carb-lovers got bread and pasta ranging from spinach ravioli to gnocchi, which was also fantastic. As Elly V. mentions, the wine was indeed "ever-flowing and everyone had a fantastic time". P.S. Don't skimp on the appetizers! Sooooo worth it.

As visitors to Miami we were looking for a small steakhouse with good Yelp feedback and found Rincon. My wife and I ordered the barbecue for two, which consists of beef, chicken, a couple types of sausage, and unknown to us, kidneys and "sweetbreads." This barbecue for two could very well be considered barbecue for four, especially with the two generous sides. We got and loved the potato salad and fries. We tried but passed on the kidney and sweetbreads, but everything else on the skillet was wonderful. If you're in the mood for desert, try the tiramisu. It's the best that either of us have ever had.

Loved it! they have great lunch specials about $9 for a big plate of chicken w/ salad or fries or rice and their chimichurri was insanely good. i think i ate my weight in sauce that day b/c their salsa criolla is so good too. dessert tasted like refrigerator hence why im giving it only 4 stars.

This restaurant came highly recommended from a friend. My friends and I invited our moms and grandmas to celebrate my grandmother's birthday. Also, one of the grandmas of the group just got through battling breast cancer for the second time and this was her first time out. Unfortunately, the service was horrible but the actions and unprofessionalism of the assistant manager was atrocious. Let me elaborate on what was the WORST service have ever experienced: 1. Of 12 of us, 10 ordered off a pre-fixe 3-course menu, 1 did not order, and 1 ordered off the menu for a less expensive option. The bill we received charged us the pre-fixe price for all 12! In addition, they charged us an additional fee for the desserts they brought out for the birthday girl--they were part of the pre-fixe menu and yet they would not take the charge off. 2. The waiter never asked us what soup/salad/dessert we would like (for those ordering off the pre-fixe menu). We had to remind him and still, he got 1/2 the orders wrong. 3. I ordered gnocchi and it came out raw in the middle. The waiter insisted it was a cheese-filling. I've had gnocchi at several other restaurants and have never heard of this. Turns out it was RAW!! (No cheese filling) And yes, I was still charged the pre-fixe price although I had specifically asked for this a-la-carte. In all fairness, once the desserts arrived, so did my new cooked order of gnocchi. It was fair and the pink sauce did not taste fresh or homemade. If you want the best gnocchi ever, go to Il Forno or Perricones! 4. When the waiter refused to take off the charge for the 2 desserts mentioned in #1, I asked for the manager. She was polite and explained we were given the "full size" portion which is not included in the pre-fixe. After we explained that we never ordered this, nor was this explained to us, she understood and took it off the bill for us. As she walked away, a male waiter approached our table and in a very machismo manner, scolded us! Very politely, I tapped him on the arm and said with all due respect, this was not his concern as we have already resolved this with the manager-- and our waiter. He became very irate and dramatic and accused me of poking him and claimed he is the assistant-manager and this was very much his concern. Long story short, this jerk RUINED what was supposed to be a special night. His disrespect towards us --and especially the elderly women at the table-- was DISGUSTING! He literally yelled at us in very broken english that came across extremely offensive and degrading. As we were leaving, he did not make way for our grandmas. Instead, he walked briskly through them without saying 'excuse me' and almost knocked one of them down (she walks with a cane). Again, as I write this, I am completely APPALLED by this man's behavior and the fact that the restaurant staff allows this! By far, the WORST, MOST HORRIFIC and DISGUSTING service we've ever received at any restaurant--regardless of rating. The food was mediocre. We ordered the empanadas which were probably the best thing on the menu. For those of us that had the steak or pork chops, the meat was over cooked and tough. The desserts were fair. Some of us had the dulce de leche crepes which were really good but repulsively sweet & rich so it may not be for everyone. The price you pay for the service is not worth the visit for the food. Obviously this restaurant does not understand or value that dining is an experience-- from service to food-- it's not just about the food. If you want a good Argentine restaurant, go to Graziano's.

Even after a recent massive proliferation of Argentinian restaurants, Rincon Argentino still stands head and shoulders above the rest. Their beef is as authentic as it gets, with a wide selection of argentinian cuts, which you can get if you like in your own "parrillada", that includes tasty argentinian chorizo, morcilla, mollejas and rinones. If you are not into meat, no worries! they have a very well balanced menu that includes delicious pastas, gnocci, half baby-chicken on the grill (delicious) and a fish entree, such as salmon, tilapia, mahi-mahi.. depends on the day (always fresh) Lunch specials are affordable, fast and change daily. All this served by very professional, attentive staff. Highly recommended!!

from the moment you step out of your car, you can smell that inviting aroma of smoky bbq. once you walk in you'll see the roundabout bbq grill with 2 or 3 juicy chunks of meat cooking. A real argentinian restaurant, Rincon Argentino does not skimper on style nor taste. With the ceiling covered in small wood planks, there's art etched all over. Its like a sistine chapel in here. The ceiling also sets the warm inviting dining area covered with wine bottles and pictures of B-C-D-E and F-list celebrities (albeit their mostly spanish which doesn't impress me). The service in general is okay. Its a strange balance since we got the food very quick..but took a long ass time to give us the bill. The meat is totally what I would expect from an argentine grill, fresh and delicious. I had the skirt steak cooked medium..it came a little undercooked which is fine with me, but not so for the wife, she had to return it. The cooked it up more and came out perfect for her the second time. the chimichurri was pretty tasty but I personally wouldn't slather that all over the skirt steak...by itself it's a super tasty piece of meat worthy of awards. The french fries on the other hand are average at best. For dessert we devoured the Tiramisu. It was hella tasty, just the right amount of liquor and coffee powder. Certain Italian restaurants should learn something from these guys. Overall it was a 4-star experience..there were certain shortcomings but, with the taste of the meat, the decor of the place, and the decent price tag; it was easy to overlook them a much better choice than some other argentine steakhouses in the area (and that includes graziano's in coral gables!)

This is a great place to come for a great Argentian Food. Everything here is delicious starting with their chorizo and empanadas. Also the provoletta (grilled provolone) is something I always order here. And of course the reason to come here is the great steak. Always cooked to perfection. The staff here is extremely friendly as this is a family owned place.

Miami is known for a lot of things. In the culinary landscape, it is known for fusion, Cuban, sushi, pizza, and not much more. So, it would be surprising to many tourists that Miami has a plethora of Spanish and Argentinian restaurants. Rincon Argentino is an Argentine restaurant, so any Miamero would know that they serve steak and Italian cuisine! From the outside, the only allure to the restaurant is the singular word of "Argentino," especially for those who love anything beef. And Argentina definitely knows beef as if they were Italians enamoured with Italian wines. Justifiably so, they worship every part of a cow and that may turn a typical North American palate off. Just be careful with what you order if you have a queasy stomach! This place isn't exactly cheap, and I didn't expect it to be judging from the formal environment indoors. Linen tablecloths, wine glasses, and live roses in small bottles. The service was also sharp and complimentary bread was immediately served with butter while the menu encased in leather was distributed to my friend and me. Judging from the prices in the menu, I had been tempted to go for the lunch special. But luckily for me, "Parrillada Argentina" (Argentine Barbecue) for two people jumped out at me in the menu for $26 which was a better deal than if it was for one person which was going for $16. My dining partner and I quickly agreed to share into this endeavor and, while the wait for the food was long, the wait was worth it. A tray covered in everything meaty arrived. There was kidney, sweet breads (aka mojellas - a gland I think), vacio (flap steak), Argentinian sausage, black sausage (similar to blood sausages I believe), and tiras de asado (short ribs). Naturally, the kidneys and sweet breads were an acquired taste and neither my dining partner nor I had it. The Argentinian sausage was delicious. The black sausage was strong but it accompanied the complimentary bread superbly. The ribs and vacio (flap steak) were out of this world. But even though there were things in the platter that I didn't enjoy that much, the good stuff were enough to fill us both to the umpth degree. I also tried out Quilmes, an Argentinian beer, and I liked it better than Heineken! It was much smoother and not so strong. Okay okay, so we had to have dessert too. I was full, and so was he, but he insisted on having a sweet finish to end our palate. For dessert, we ordered the rogel-balcarce (or balcarce rogel) which was similar to a baklava but with merengue on top and each layer of flakes covered in dulce de leche. It was fantastic, and my dining partner who normally doesn't like dulce de leche would vouch the same. This restaurant really is excellent because of the service, food (at least the stuff you are familiar with), and the dessert. So if you want an Argentinian formal dining experience with accolades from El Nuevo Herald (the Spanish version of the Miami Herald) and the New York Times , this is a good place to try. And they have another location in Miami-Dade: Kendall 7744 Kendall Dr. Miami, FL 33156 305-274-8850

This review is based on first impressions of the restaurant. I tried to go today around 1:30pm and it looked really scary. There were no cars around and although the neon signs said open and it should have been packed at 1:30 on a Sunday it was a ghost town. The building looked run down. I went somewhere else.

It's not just that the meat is always the best tasting and most tender, or that the prices are very reasonable for this quality, but the service is just excellent. My favorites are the "Bife de Chorizo" and the "Vacio" Steaks. And I like to start with a "Chorizo and Morcilla Sausage combo." But I also enjoy their traditional parrillada. Their parsley, garlic and olive oil "chimi-churri" sauce is so good, they should sell it to take home. The salads at the Rincon are fresh and you can get what you want in them. I really like the watercress salad with hearts of palm and tomatoes, my wife prefers it without hearts of palm. The wine list includes some top notch Malbecs at reasonable prices. But then, get ready for a selection of some incredible desserts. My wife loves the Dulce De Leche Cheesecake, I like the Valcarce a mixture of flavors so exquisite you only have to taste once to love it. The lunch gets a little crowded with executives from Coral Gables and Brickell area and often Latin celebrities, but the wait is never long and worth it anyway. PS, they have an incredible cream of spinach soup and a Milanesa chicken steak that is notable too. And the Kendall location is just as good in a slightly smaller setting.

Took the family while on vacation last week. Place was busy but not packed and we had excellent service from a headwaiter who claimed he was from BA via Bushwick - and had the accent to prove it. Starters for the table were Provolone Argentino and an order of Chorizo. I hadn't had the fried cheese before and it really was amazing. Very slightly oily (it's fried cheese!) but not at all greasy. The Chorizo was simple, and simply great. Those two dishes were plenty as starters for a table of three adults and two kids. For mains we shared an asado of short ribs, lamb, sirloin (bife de chorizo) and flank steak (vacio). No lomo on the menu and it didn't occur to me to ask. Everything was really tasty and obviously fresh from the grill. The short ribs had the short rib fattiness that isn't for everyone but which responded well to the tart chimichurri. The sirloin was OK but the other cuts were outstanding - the vacio was the hit of the table (kids included). Sides were good if not plentiful, especially the potato salad. We ordered a very reasonably priced Rutini Malbec ('08, I think) that paired very well with all that meat. The waiter used an aerator which didn't seem to affect the wine, other than to bring out its flavor before dessert. Desserts were simple: a flan with dulce de leche, which was fine, and a dulce-filled crepe, which was awesome. Next time, two of those and skip the flan. Summary: A really fine, authentic restaurant with excellent food at very reasonable (but not cheap) prices, a first-class wine list and a friendly, talented and resourceful staff. We loved it and will certainly return. Why only four stars (which should be 4.5)? I'm hooked on lomo and was disappointed not to find it.

Just finished a feast at this place. Was very pleased. My friend and I got the Parillada Argentino (basically a mixed grill) for a single person then split an additional order of the short ribs. The short ribs were more chewy than I would have liked and had too much fat relative to the amount of meat, but still had great flavor and were cooked well. I think the lack of tenderness is just a matter of the short ribs being grilled as opposed to braised. The parillada came with two types of sausages, which were pretty good, although I'm not a huge fan of blood sausage. I did really enjoy the vacio though, which seemed to be a flank steak. I hadn't tried sweetbreads or kidneys before, so it was interesting having both of those as part of the platter, but I thought both tasted gamey and I don't think I'd try either again. The Argentine beer was really good and the house Malbec was a nice wine. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Lastly, the dessert was excellent. We split the balcarce cake and were both pleased. We brought back a ton of leftovers, which I probably won't eat much of since it's primarily sweetbreads and kidneys, but overall I'm still happy about the meal. I think in the future I would get just a single steak now that I've sampled everything, but I definitely recommend the restaurant.

This place is almost a masterpiece when it comes to Argentian food. They are very friendly and accommodating, but more importantly have excellent food worthy of an accompanying symphony. The entrana steak is a special treat and goes well with their homemade chimichurri. I also highly recommend the bife de chorizo organico and for appetizer the antipasto rincon. Everything there is good from the bread to the empanadas de carne to the steaks and to the desserts. They have very good pastas and a breathtaking mousse de chocolate.

I like this place, small but cozy, food was excellent! Service was good and friendly. The empanadas were delicious, I would recommend this place.

The lunch specials are really affordable and good sizes. I had a vacio which was very well seasoned and cooked perfectly tender. The spicy sauce to accompany it as has been mentioned is heaven.

Excellent food. Steak cooked perfectly. Unfriendly to non-Hispanic people making experience poor. Could have been, should have been great.

They have some of the best empanadas de carne I've ever had here. Completely mouth watering! The sides are plentiful and taste incredible, the chimichurri is spot on, and the steaks are always juicy and cooked right to order. I love this place and it's only improved throughout the years!

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

(1)Yvelin R.
(4)Victor W.

(4)Jesus R.
(4)Monica C.
Good food, well priced, slooooooow service. Had to call the restaurant to have someone bring me the check.

I went to dinner with my boyfriend the day after Valentines, it was our valentines dinner because we both worked the 14th. We had the Parrilla for 2, :/ Just a tiny piece of meat, some Ribs the rest... bah To much chicken.. It did not had chicken before. The service was not good either, the server was so mean. We are not coming back.
(2)Will B.
(2)Jose M.
Food quality is still good, but prices are way up and side order portions are shrinking. I am not sure how much they can save by rationing rice and potatoes. Bread quality seems lower, but that usually varies. The original owner is back. I have been coming here for 15 plus years, so I notice these little changes.
(3)Yoana P.
I went to this restaurant and the food was amazing and espectacular service they treat you like family, is going to be my favorite steak house from now on!!!!
(5)Carlos C.
This typical Argentinian restaurant hits the spot. The service is great, the restaurant is clean and quaint with appropriate decor. Prices are fair for the meal you get and is great for families with kids. They have an excellent wine selection and the steaks hit the spot. They have private parking. The only area that needs immediate attention is their bathrooms since they are very outdated.
(4)Diana D.

Over priced, bad service, they just took too long to do anything, food is ok, definitely not worth the price

(3)David S.

Food quality is still good, but prices are way up and side order portions are shrinking. I am not sure how much they can save by rationing rice and potatoes. Bread quality seems lower, but that usually varies. The original owner is back. I have been coming here for 15 plus years, so I notice these little changes.

Over priced, bad service, they just took too long to do anything, food is ok, definitely not worth the price

Amazing, authentic Argentine cuisine. Huge delicious steak! Great service, amazing portions. You won't regret going. Fresh pasta.
(5)Leo M.
Just picked this just because it was the closes thing, because i was soooooo hungry!!!!! OMG food was so gooood, I am a meat eater so this was a very nice dinner, the flavors are really good. Will definitely go back in a heart bet, and great prices too.
(5)Jordan K.
Very good lunch with good portions of grilled meats and reasonable prices. I will be back soon.
(4)David T.
Excellent food. Steak cooked perfectly. Unfriendly to non-Hispanic people making experience poor. Could have been, should have been great.
(3)Anna M.
(1)Marc S.
(5)Rosario P.
(3)Carrie R.
(1)Jocelyn P.

(4)Andrew J.
(3)Giovanni P.
The best steak and sausage if that's what you're looking for. I would definitely go over and over again.
(5)Michael S.
(1)Nico B.
Great food. Ambience OK. Good service. Slightly overpriced. 55$ for two.
(3)Richard D.
(5)Sal G.

(5)Yvelin R.
(4)Lourdes C.
(1)Victor W.
Really really good. But you have to love Argentine cuisine. I had provoleta for appetizer, parrilla for two, with watercress salad accompanied by Malbec wine. Very very good.
(5)Veronica D.
(2)Julie J.
(5)John R.

(5)Juan S.

Reminds me of Rio Gallego!!!! Good food..."Los asados"
(3)J A.
(4)Jenny Q. V.
Delicious Entrana "churrasco"... They call it entrana in Argentina Sauces are to die for Best chimichuri sauce and the spicy one is fantastic I get my steak with french Fries...GREAT COMBO!

Love.
(5)Remy L.
We had the grilled meat plate for two and it was great. Way too much food but good overall. Some of the food was a little bit oily but it was generally well cooked and the wine pairing was great. Liked the place.
(4)Vicki L.
Love the meat.

(5)Pat W.
Real good Argentinian steakhouse. Well worth the visit...
(4)Robyn C.
(5)Brian G.
(4)cristina o.
Loved it! they have great lunch specials about $9 for a big plate of chicken w/ salad or fries or rice and their chimichurri was insanely good. i think i ate my weight in sauce that day b/c their salsa criolla is so good too. dessert tasted like refrigerator hence why im giving it only 4 stars.

Great restaurant absolutely best food for your money, is a must try, trust me wont be disappointed. from the meats to their pastas is all beyond expectations.

As good as you are going to get for Argentinian in Miami. Entrana con Cuero with some Garlic Fries is all you need. Service is always great.

from the moment you step out of your car, you can smell that inviting aroma of smoky bbq. once you walk in you'll see the roundabout bbq grill with 2 or 3 juicy chunks of meat cooking.

I was pleasantly surprised with this little gem of a place. The ambiance is lovely as is the decor. The waiters are interesting and helpful. THe food delicious. The empanadas were the best ever, the milanese above average, and the dulce de leche flan was excellent. Will be back soon and recommend highly.

Better Argentinian restaurants out there. I.e, Grazianos, personally I like the Bird Rd location more.

I like this place, small but cozy, food was excellent! Service was good and friendly. The empanadas were delicious, I would recommend this place.

The lunch specials are really affordable and good sizes. I had a vacio which was very well seasoned and cooked perfectly tender. The spicy sauce to accompany it as has been mentioned is heaven.

Excellent food. Steak cooked perfectly. Unfriendly to non-Hispanic people making experience poor. Could have been, should have been great.

Great food. Ambience OK. Good service. Slightly overpriced. 55$ for two.

They have some of the best empanadas de carne I've ever had here. Completely mouth watering! The sides are plentiful and taste incredible, the chimichurri is spot on, and the steaks are always juicy and cooked right to order. I love this place and it's only improved throughout the years!
