We searched for Mediterranean cuisine in Doral, this place popped up, reviews were ok so we chanced it. The guy at the register was definitely not happy to be there and frankly unfriendly. I ordered the steak platter requested meat medium. The meat was so overlooked it was hard to chew, the jasmine rice fair, the salad ok n the grilled veggies were good. We tipped the guy when we paid the food, the place was pretty empty yet they did not bring us the food and when my 80 yr old mother requested a take up dish for her leftovers, she was told she needed to walk up to register to get it. When I explained the steak was in edible he simply forced out a sorry and that was it. Definitely will not give this place a second chance.

A little expensive for what it is but at least on the healthy side of fast food. I have been here for lunch quite a few times and I normally call in my order. It is always ready by the time i am there to pick it up and its always correct. It gets very crowded around lunch time so I would recommend getting here early or calling your order in advance.

For the benefit of fellow Yelpers I try to be as honest as possible in my reviews, hence the two stars. First of all I have some of the blame, if you walk into a place @5:30 pm on a workday and there is nobody inside.... Well I took my chance, and the first set back kicked in immediately, this is a Mediterranean Restaurant that does NOT has lamb on its menu! That being said....$20.00 for tenderloin kebab and salad.... not again, not again!

My go to place for lunch in Doral. I always get the Chenjeh Salad - you can't get that quality, delicious beef for $12 and change anywhere else. Their rice and yogurt sauce are also delicious. Pros: - Good for group lunches (they have long communal tables) - Not waited, so no hassle for bill splitting - DELICIOUS and very well priced - Easy parking most times (and near FedEx in case you need to drop something off) - Nice staff

Whenever I am in Miami I go out of my way to stop by here for lunch or dinner. The food is delicious and flavorful! I usually get the falafel salad plate and a side of hummus.

Their food tastes very good. The prices are reasonable. I had the grilled vegetables and rice, $10. Great vegetarian option. The cashier, which turned out to be the manager had a very poor attitude. It was so bad, I had to track down the owner to complain. The owner seemed to care about the situation and promised to correct it. I look forward to returning and having a positive experience. It was my 1st visit to this location. I have eaten at their Brickell location many times, in the past, and have had good experiences. I will update my review and they fix the poor customer service. *09/2014 update: same guy, better customer service. still needs work, below average. moved it up to 3 stars. *09/2015 update: same guy, better customer service. moved it up to 4 stars.

This sucks. It's 30 minutes till they close and it's closed. It's Friday night and the family wanted to try this place. I guess we'll stick to Kendall.

My brothers wife is Lebanese so I have been able to try a lot of Lebanese food and love everything that I have tried. There used to be a great Lebanese restaurant in Doral on nw 25 st, but it closed down and has left me looking for a replacement. While this is not Lebanese, Persian is close enough to fill that void. Walking into Rice house, it has a clean style that is inviting. They have large photos of the menu next to the counter, so that it is easy to order. I went with the #3 Combo, which comes with rice, a grilled tomato, grilled beef tenderloin and chicken kabob, with a side of sauce. I was surprised that it cost me about $19 for my meal (had a zephyr hills 16oz bottle as well). Seemed overpriced for a self service restaurant. Nevertheless, I waited for my meal. They give you one of those vibrating devices to let you know you order is ready, which is cool, but I don't really think it is necessary since the restaurant is not that large or noisy. Didn't have to wait long for my shaker to do its thing, and claim my food. It was a good size plate, with a generous amount of meat and rice. The chicken is tasty and well seasoned, as was the beef. I would have preferred if the meat wasn't cooked well done (prefer medium), but nevertheless it was still good. Rice was good to, and I always love a grilled tomato. The sauce was nice too, and after a few taste tests I drowned my meal in it. Why only three stars? For one, the food is good - not great. I have had better. The real problem I have is that the meal was overpriced. For the price I paid, I could have had a meal at a sit down restaurant, and had a waiter serve me. Rice House is essentially a Persian chicken kitchen. They do a good job of classing it up with better decor, friendly staff, etc. but it still doesn't justify a higher price, I wouldn't pay $19 for a large chicken chop, so I am not sure why they are billing so high. If it was priced more reasonably, I would have given it 4 stars. They don't seem to have a problem getting people to pay, so perhaps it is just me. All that being said, I will give this place another try in the future.

This place was a complete surprise. Located in a strip mall in Doral. The portions are huge and priced right. Wish there were more spots like this as I travel the country.

  • Max T.

They have okay lunch specials for $6-$8, the portions a little small. The flavors are generally good; i like the chicken kabob more than the beef, and the rice is long grain. The sauce they give on the side is great. They have a beef chicken combo for about $12 with rice, its a large portion, it is probably the best value if you want to share.

i am not familiar with the menu.i walked in to place an order the place was empty i heard crickets.finally a dousche bag comes out to take my order.the ahol looked annoyed that i didnt know the names of the food.i finally ordered the sirloin. prices are steep.it would be nice if he would have explained the menu.i ordered too much for one person.will not be back.if you want to try this type of food a restaurant would be best.it would be great if not only customers read the reviews but the restaurants themselves.maybe service would improve.

I don't understand how this place has 4 stars. My client suggested we come here for lunch one day and I thought it was by far the worst lunch we had in the two weeks I spent with them. The meat was mediocre and the hummus might as well have been squeezed out of a packet and the pita was nothing special either. Do yourself a favor and just get Cuban food.

Always good food and good service. Kubideh platter is the bomb.

I can't really trust a a kabob place that doesn't sell lamb. A kabob place without lamb is sacrilegious. Despite that though the super combo was pretty good. The chicken and sirloin kabob were surprisingly tasty. Their rice though was just OK. They are called the Rice House of Kabob so I kind of thought their basmati rice would be off the HO-oo--OK! Not the case. Disappointed? Yes! The hummus and dolmeh too were kind of ordinary and bland. Rice House of Kabob is like the fast food restaurants of Kabob restaurants. The only thing is that you don't pay fast food prices. In fact, Rice House of Kabob, is just as pricey as any sit down restaurant. There's just no value for a fast food type mentality that charges what a real restaurant offers. I'm in no hurry to come back to this place.

Fellow co-worker introduced me to Rice House and I have been left with a great impression. It's not located in the most visible of spots nor is there much parking in the strip mall. Once you come in, it's the usual seamy fast food place. The place has great decor & plenty of conjoined tables with chairs. The menu options are easily read as you come in. The is courteous, helpful, fast & greets you with a smile. The food is made to order and is Mediterranean style. They offer the traditional kabob meats of beef, ground beef and chicken. Unluckily, they don't have lamb on the menu. The lunch portions are generous and the combos are pretty big. All the meet are well cooked and juicy. The salads are very fresh, as is the basmati rice. Be ready to wait about 5 to 7min during the lunch rush for your order, since it's made to order. I have be every satisfied with my plate selections, but I try to save a little space for dessert here. They have dessert that aren traditional & worth the diet cheat. So if you might the looking for a spot to hit up, Rice House should get a hard consideration.

I come here almost every day for lunch. It's a nice healthy option, it's fast, oh and it tastes so good. Their sauce is possibly as addicting as the elusive mustard curry sauce we all love from that chicken place :) Their lunch box specials usually include meat of your choice, salad, rice and a 1/4 pita with a scoop of hummus. Keeps you full alllllll afternoon.

DELICIOUS middle eastern/persian food. the lunch specials are generous and affordable. joojeh chicken.. #1 combo.. those are the best. but of course, the sumac sauce. i think that i could drink it plain. it's to die for. really fast delivery time. definitely great!

I'm a vegan and this place is heaven for vegetarians and vegans alike. Food is solid Persian, great portions, AMAZING sauce and a lot of options from different veggies to falafel to chicken, pork and beef (even fish). Really tasty and fresh, nice clean location. The only complaint was that one time I went there during rush lunch hour and the kitchen was having a delay and they told us the wait would be 45 minutes, so we left. But that was only one time, and come on, those things happen everywhere once, so obviously we just came back another day and enjoyed deliciousness once more. It's quick without being a fast food and healthy (MAJOR PLUS). I would recommend the hummus, grape leaves and falafel but I bet meat eaters would love everything else the same. :)

Allow me to begin by mentioning that I was not feeling well this morning and have been thinking about lunch since approximately 10am. I wanted something yummy, something comforting, something not too heavy. Basically something that won't make me feel WORSE. I tossed around a few ideas and even asked for suggestions from my fellow Yelpers. Gati P., I should have taken your advice and gone to Layali for my Mediterranean fix. In all fairness, I have only eaten here twice. I picked up lunch today and was actually excited about trying the Falafel Wrap. I bit into the first half and was initially happy. It tasted yummy... For the first few bites. I'm thinking I was so hungry when I first bit into the wrap that my brain fooled my taste buds into thinking that it tasted good. About halfway throught the wrap, it started tasting a little off. Then the nausea kicked in. UGH. The only reason that I'm not giving this place 1 star is because: #1 I was already sick to begin with today. #2 I've eaten here before & although I wasn't blown away, I didn't get sick. This was only my 2nd time eating here and sadly, it will most likely be my last.

I've been to this place on 3 separate occasions- months apart- & all 3 times, there's been an issue. The first time, I placed my order directly at the restaurant for take-out, after waiting over 30 mins, I went up to the cashier & turns out they forgot to post my order in the kitchen, so my order wasn't even in their system, had to wait another 15 mins to get my order & was late to work. The second time, I called in my order when I was 20 mins away from the restaurant, the girl told me it would be ready in 15 mins- great. When I got there 20-25 mins later, my order wasn't ready. I waited another 15 mins, turns out, ONCE AGAIN, they never turned in my order to the kitchen & ONCE AGAIN I was late to work. I wanted to give them another chance today because I do like the food & I noticed they had online ordering... When I returned to work, the special instructions they offer online to customize your order, were not applied to my order. I specifically clicked "No Tomatoes" & sure enough, there were tomatoes... I'm not sure why they have so many issues relaying customer orders to the kitchen, but all in all, I will more than likely not go there again. Their food is not that cheap & the service is terrible.

I've got joojeh chicken on my mind most days and Rice House of Kabob always delivers. Their lunch specials are phenomenal, especially since it includes salad, rice and that out of control curry-esque mustard that you could put on everything. Tasty, quality food, in a casual inviting atmosphere. Parking is sometimes challenging, but well worth coming.

This place is a Atkins dieters worst nightmare. The platters are served with enough rice to feed a Persian family of 5. I had the Joojeh chicken platter and it was amazing. Char-broiled boneless chicken chunks that have been marinated in Awesomeness, served with a huge side of saffron basmati rice and half a char-grilled tomato. It also came with a side of house specialty sumac sauce. I don't know exactly what is in the sauce, but it was great over the chicken, rice, and tomato. In fact, I'm sure its great on everything. I can't wait to go back and try something else. They've got a pretty big menu with everything from fish to vegetarian options and they all look pretty tasty.

Rice isn't my favorite type of Middle Eastern restaurant, but given the price and the location, they rank pretty high in my book. It's in my standard rotation of lunch destinations at work and they offer some decent lunch combos. Give the grilled chicken a try. Word to the wise: If you're so inclined, the sell beer and wine really cheap.

love this place! I call in and order from here about once a week. I always get the chengi with rice. The meat is delicious, high quality, and tasty. there humus is also great but my favorite is there yellow sauce. sooo good!! they also make great salads and their chicken and chengi wraps are delicious too.

Persian cuisine in a fast food joint? Not exactly. This was just part of exploring our area (my bf's and mine). We were attracted to this place as we both like Middle Eastern food. Who am I kidding? I love ANY kind of cuisine. So, we came in for lunch and there were a few people inside. We quickly looked over their extensive menu and decided that we would split a dish. We got the combination of charbroiled tenderloin and chicken. We also got the hummus because we always try hummus at any Middle Eastern place. Both dishes were amazing. The tenderloin was just so...tender. It was really amazing. My bf was originally skeptical but he loved it too. The cashier brought the hummus and pita bread to our table. They were very attentive. Next time I hope to try one of their wraps!

Pretty good food, a bit over priced for a chicken grill type atmosphere. If I am going to spend 15 dollars on some food I expect a bit more. My way of looking at it. The sauce is legendary though, can't deny that.

I've been to Rice twice now, and have been impressed both times with the quality and freshness of the food. Everything I have had on the menu has been great. I recommend the Kubideh (like a kefta kebab) and the Chenjeh (steak kabob), which are both tender, juicy, and very flavorful. Both are served with a tangy yogurt sauce that is AMAZING. I keep the extra sauce and dip the bread in it. Prices seem a little steep for a fast food/take out type of restaurant, but they are worth it for the quality of food. Service has always been friendly.

My husband and I work in Doral and are always looking for new and interesting lunch options. After hearing a few good things about Rice House of Kabob, we decided (albeit a bit skeptically) to drop in and give it a chance. I'm happy to report that we were pleasantly surprised. We each tried a different lunch platter to get a sampling of their different menu items (Ground Sirloin and Beef Tenderloin), which I think is a great way to experience their food for the first time. Each lunch platter came with a protein, Greek salad, some humus and small pita, and basmati rice sprinkled with tahini, which is an appropriate amount of food for the price. There was also a curry sauce on the side that I just about spread over everything - and it was delicious with every bite. The humus was just OK, but everything else was pretty great and flavorful. The actual location is clean and nicely decorated, with plenty of seating available even during Doral's Friday lunch rush. The food took a little while to come out but I'm OK with waiting for something if it's going to be prepared fresh. Just be sure you have a full hour to spend when you go. It's worth the time and I'm looking forward to going back.

I love this place. Food quality is always good and consistent. The joojeh platter is my favorite. The rice here is amazing (thus the name of the place). Lunch time gets busy do u might have a little wait because all food is cooked to order. They also have very good lunch specials which leave you full and are super affordable. Staff is always friendly. Be sure to try the yellow sauce.

The food is ok and the service is fine. I've been twice since my wife really enjoys this place but i don't think it's that much of a big deal and i really feel like some of the menu items are rather pricey for an order/pick-up at the counter format. Dunno...meh, i've had better.

When it comes to kebobs and grilled Mediterranean-style meats, no one does it better than Rice. Respectable portions, too The long grain rice is abundant and good enough to not want to share. Same goes for the wraps and platters. Unfortunately, anything I order can't have the house yogurt they use. I learned that the hard way sitting on the throne over a very long night. I do agree they're a bit overpriced considering you have to pick up your own food and clean up afterwards.

Head to Rice if you a) Want a basic intro to Persian food. b) You are starving and want a big, hearty, home-cooked style meal. Rice in a nutshell has got good fast Persian food. An entry-level Persian joint, if you will. Although most dishes on the menu are delicious (and huge!) you won't find any of the real authentic dishes, like Ghormeh Sabzi or Fesenjan, which make Persian food truly unique and exciting. Nonetheless, you can't go wrong with the rice (I mean the ACTUAL rice), the Kubideh, the pickled vegetables stashed away in the cooler by the register, or if you're daring enough, the Doh, a salty yogurt drink. Make sure to generously sprinkle your rice with Sumac, the tangy red spice that you'll find on your table. And should you get hooked on putting Sumac on everything (like yours truly), you can always buy it at Middle-Eastern grocery stores rather than swiping it off the table (just sayin'). At the end of the day, who cares about authenticity when you are hungry? If you came for a good meal, I can promise that you'll leave content. Not to mention stuffed as a grape leaf.

  • Michal A.

This is my fast medditeranean cuisine in the middle of a busy workday spot. Entertaining later or just feeling lazy? Grab a hummus, grape leaves, and one of their many baked goods like Baklava (they have reduced sugar versions!) from the counter to go and bring it home for some cultural bites.

This place was the bomb digg! I felt like I was eatting a healthy meal, and it filled me up to a good point where I didn't feel like I wanted to explode. For $10 I got hummus, pita, basmati rice, cucumber salad and beef tenderloin for my lunch, and everything complimented eachother and was really delish. I love mediterranean food, and this by far was a convenient, yummy place to have lunch at. Fast and fresh!

Even though this restaurant is tucked away, it is worth finding. It is a diner type place, relaxed in its atmosphere, the food is fast but not "fast food". Simple menu with absolutely delicious choices, this place is definitely a "must". Try the Super Combo with a salad - it is enough for two people to enjoy and you have the Kubideh, Chicken and Beef on the platter. Their Lentil soup is yummy and filling. The desert choices are definitely gourmet. The menu (excluding the desert) is an incredible value for the price, and even though the desert is a little pricey ($1.50 - $3.45), the deserts are worth sharing too. I would definitely recomend this restaurant to anyone I know!

This place is Iranian but the food reminds me a lot of the Lebanese food my grandfather would make. All their dishes are just good. It's simple, unpretentious and delicious and, if you know me or my reviews, that's all I really want out of a restaurant. It's a little pricey but it's really worth it. The portions are hearty, the dishes are all really great and the guys are soooooo nice. They always joke around with me and I like going to a place where the staff looks like they actually want to be there (and I was a waitress, so I understand how hard that can be sometimes...). It tastes like a good old fashioned home cooked meal and that's what I love about it. The deserts are pretty great also. The restaurant is kind of hidden so it's never packed and it's self-service so you order at the cashier and then when your food is ready you bring it to your table, eliminating wait times that can happen at busy places with overworked wait staff. It's definitely a place I'd recommend.

I used to go here all the time when travelled down to Miami. I wish they had one in Broward county. Their food is hands down some of the best I have had anywhere. The service is also top notch. I used to go to the location at Kendall and the guys who worked their were really passionate about giving you the best experience possible. They also have a varied choice of dishes so there's something for everyone.

Came here for lunch and although it doesn't seem full, the wait for the food can take a while. But the wait is worth it. It's all cooked right after you order, and everything comes out looking nice. Tastes very fresh. I had the chicken platter that came with basmati rice and greek salad. The chicken was reaaally good. They also have lunch specials. Check 'em out.

I make this place a "must go" destination, whenever I'm working in this area of Miami. To me, it is the gold standard for properly prepared Persian food, especially since the kabobs are freshly-prepared to order, they don't use that cheap American style rice, and there's a shaker of sumac on every table. The pastries are amazing too! The only reason I wouldn't give this place 5 stars is because of the staff, who usually range from completely ambivalent to downright surly.

  • Thugnificent M.

I've been here a couple of times with some local work people who claim this to be the best food in Miami. It's ok but I have a good deal of experience eating Middle Eastern food in DC. This place is average in comparison. Don't get me wrong, the food is really fresh and everything taste good, but it's what I was expecting at a place you pick your meal based of a picture on a wall, not to trash on pictures on the wall. As a person who is old enough to select and pay for their own meal I think I'm able to make a culinary decision based off a title or description rather than needing a picture chart. That picture chart was helpful but not really needed. Now if it was a scratch n sniff wall that would be tremendous.

We love this place, they definitely have it down, a simple menu yet full of options, cafeteria style, and overall good service. They always take the time to explain the items you may not be familiar with. Their desserts are just right, perfect portions and very good. Good portions at a decent price. Try mixing some chicken or beef with a salad and will be completely satisfied. Small drawback, extremely bad parking situation for lunch.

Writing this in the comforable stupor that only comes after a very good meal. Studying late, hungry, ordered delivery. Food arrived in 30 minutes flat. Behold! Gorgeously grilled veggies, chunks of chicken/sirloin steak all snuggled on a bed of perfectly seasoned, impeccably textured rice. With a side of tangy salad that cuts the grease, wow, heaven. The seasoning is quite masterful, almost seductive, with a playful aroma that lingers. Very savory. I enjoyed every morsel with enough left over for another meal tomorrow. This restaurant's number has earned its place in my cell phone contact list.

Fresh, healthy and delicious food. Lots of options for vegetarians. It's a little over priced considering there's no waiter service, but considering the generous portions, I think it's worth it. Some of my favorite dishes include the fish platter and the kubideh platter. If you don't have a hearty appetite, stick with either the salad or platter options - the rice dishes are very filling. Also check out the goods in the stand near the cash register - lots of Persian goodies like dolmeh, olives, and yogurt based drinks.

In the search for new and exciting places to trek to during lunchtime (without waltzing in thirty or more minutes over the lunch hour), my colleague and I decided to give this a whirl. I have friends who will randomly update their status to say their craving a Rice Kabob, so I figured it must be good. I was not disappointed for a lunchtime place. The food arrived quickly and was a good size. I had the Falafel wrap which came with a drink for under six dollars and was pleasantly surprised. For me, the falafel is the make or break dish of a persian joint - anyone can make meat palatable but ground up, spiced, fried balls of chick peas. With a side of kalamata olives, it was a perfect lunch and felt slightly healthy. As for my colleague, she went with the lunch chicken kabob platter and enjoyed it, though it was not a wow.... Why five stars then? Because of a rare chance accident that makes this a five-star place to me. With a hankering for something sweet after lunch, I ended up ordering two (one for me, one for the colleague) of their chocolate chip cookies. While a bit pricey at about two dollars each, it was a huge cookie and I was looking forward to a sugar rush. Little did I realize I would experience the best cookies I have ever had! The cookies were baked to the perfect consistency and had a hint of butterscotch after every bite. The chocolate was creamy but not overwhelming and all the flavors and textures just came together for a rhapsodic experience......it was so good, that after finishing said cookies, we talked about them on the drive back to work and even turned around to order two more when we realized we still had enough time left in the lunch break. If you go, ask for the chocolate chip cookies. As long as you're not buying the last one

Let me start off by saying I love mediterranean/Greek, Middle Eastern food... and RICE delivers. I usually go during lunch since its close to my job in Doral. I usually order the Joojeh Polo Sandwich -- its a wrap with chicken. It comes with vegetables as well -- cheese, tomatoes, onions, lettuce. The best part is the yogurt sauce to dip ur wrap in -- DELICIOUS. You can also get the Joojeh with rice or on a salad like i did today. The salad is great with fresh tomatoes, onions, feta cheese, olives. They have the same options for sirloin, tenderloin, fish.. and even have combinations. A great plus is when you go inside they have big pictures of all their meals -- makes it easier and sometimes harder (since you want it all) to decide. The place is a little pricey for "fast food".. but its worth it. All the items are so fresh. They have some lunch specials -- a falafel wrap with a soda -- and its $5.99. I ordered it once and again i was satisfied. I also got lentil soup -- which is homemade and by far the best lentil soup i have ever had and I LOVE soup. RICE also has vegeterian platters, appetizers, great hummus, etc You can also have some wine with your meal. There is also a location on South Beach on Alton Road. I highly recommend either one!

I was here yesterday night and as always the food is great. I dont like the fact that is 12 bucks for a plate of rice and a little loin not even 8oz but overall taste is great.

Had a great lunch experience there. The lunch special was a patty of sorts of ground beef, hummus, greek salad and rice for about 8.49. The location is clean and bright. The food took around 10 minutes to prepare. The seasoning and sauce provided was amazing. Some really interesting selection of drinks as well as desserts. As mentioned before the parking is tight but not impossible. I want to try their location in Kendall next.

Working in Doral for the past 3 years, I am always on the lookout for new and exciting lunch options. I am surprised that I had not tried this place earlier, because I am a big fan of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine- but I am so glad I finally did. This place is awesome. My chicken pita sandwich was probably one of the best I have ever had. Stuffed with tender chicken, feta cheese, and veggies- and came with a side of yogurt dipping sauce that was to die for. I will definitely be back- probably now on a weekly basis and I want to try a lot of their other menu options. Can't wait!

Great food, over priced but worth the money every time. Great for an every now and then craving. I love the food, just wish it was a little easier on the wallet, I ordered tonight for dinner and found out the prices went up by $2... Will be a while before I crave them again....

i REALLY like this place. come here very often for lunch. the owner/manager is super nice. however, they lose a star because the service has become soooo slow in the past few months. we have waited anywhere between 20-35 mins for food. the parking situation also sucks. but anyway, i usually get either the joojeh chicken kebob platter with yummy basmati rice, the beef tenderloin, or now getting the sauteed veggies and salad platter (damn you, skinny bitch!) .. please someone post a recipe of the sumac sauce. i am obsessed with it!

Wow! I have to be honest, I'm pleasantly surprised by this place. I visited a Rice House in Kendall before and ordered falafels, but I was extremely disappointed with the freshness and taste, and haven't gone back since. However, I was in the mood for Mediterranean today and saw there were a couple of good reviews at this Rice House, so I decided to give it a try. Getting there from 58th street was a little bit of a mission with lunch hour traffic and the construction in the area, but well worth it. The parking situation in that plaza is also just a little confusing. In front of the phone store it said customer only on the spots, and I wasn't sure if it meant phone store customers only or general customers of the plaza. I decided to sidestep any problems and I parked in front of the Rice House. (I think I made the right decision because those spots didn't have anything written on them.) I ordered via their website at 11:45, and when I got there at 12 my food was ready to go. There weren't too many people when I got there, but there were people walking in and ample seating. The inside was very pleasing to the eye, very comfortable/casual atmosphere, the menu was a collage of giant pictures with the names of the plates and prices written next to them. There are three cash registers, but no physical indication of where you should stand. I stood behind a guy that was waiting before me to be helped and just waited for one of the cashiers to call me. I was a little upset because I had read they served halal food, but when I confirmed with the cashier, she told me that they only serve halal chicken. I had ordered the chenjeh (tenderloin) lunch special and a piece of sugar free nammoura. The cashier was very nice during the whole transaction and asked if I wanted any extra sauce, which I appreciated. The food was tasty and came in a very fair serving. My platter came with hummus peppered with a reddish spice (DELICIOUS), a triangle of pita, rice, salad, tenderloin chunks, salad dressing and yellow sauce. I wish they would have included more pita, but besides that, the food was great. The salad was fresh. The meat was tender and had just the right amount of browning for extra flavor. As for the nammoura, I was hesitant at first. I generally avoid anything labeled sugar free because I don't like consuming fake sugar, I'm not a fan of the chemicals, but I decided to purchase it because I was in the mood for nammoura today. I'm glad I did because it was just as good as regular nammoura. I'd definitely come again.

This place is a disgrace to mediterranean cuisine not only they have the worst falafel ever but they make tahini with mayonnaise lol Even their fish was high and dry in the land where fish comes the freshest. This is one of the restaurants that I sometimes ones feels to be betrayed by yelp.

Omg, this was so good. I can't believe it's my first time here! I ordered the Fish Rice. Which is a huge portion of Basmati Rice, pan seared Tilapia, Charred tomato and onion. Fantastic!! Super fresh!! The portion is easily shareable.

I recently got my boyfriend hooked on Rice. We're obsessed. It's always so fresh and tasty. My favorite part is the actual rice. It's Basmati rice which is a long grain rice typically from India I believe. Everything else is just an added bonus. I literally think I can eat the rice by itself as a meal and I would be happy. Hell, if they only sold rice I would still come. It's that's good. Ok, fine. It's the best rice ever! I usually order it with chicken and a salad. Although I over-indulge myself in the rice, the grilled chunks of chicken and the salad are delicious as well and should also receive the same credit. I've also had the fish filet which has an incredible flavor. I don't even want to ask what kind of fish it is (don't want to be disappointed when they tell me it's Tilapia). Ordering online is a simple breeze and really the best way to go. Whether you want to eat in or take out (they also deliver). Give Rice a try! I promise you'll love it.

I love then Joojeh platter. I recommend calling in your order ahead of time if you're in a hurry. Freshly made food that's healthy. The place is always clean so that's a plus. I've been going here for many years and absolutely love it.

Go to this restaurant for lunch during the work week. Food is consistently good. Staff is friendly. During lunch, the food takes quite a long time to come out. I've seen this happen many times. That's what stops it from being a 5.

I love this place. One of my favorite quick lunch spots. I always get the chicken lunch special that comes with salad, rice, grilled chicken kebab and a pita triangle and scoop of hummus. Everything is super tasty. Especially the hummus, It tastes fresh and homemade. The steak kebab is usually over cooked like another yelper said. Which is why I stick to chicken. Oh and their baklava is awesome. I always get a piece to go.

Rice House of Kabob in Doral is ok. In my opinion, it is the best place in that immediate area to have a relatively healthy meal. I often have the greek salad from there. It is a little over $7, which I think is a bit pricey for a salad. There have been a few times where it was difficult to order over the phone during lunch time.

Pretty good food. This is a great place for a quick lunch. They have free wifi, which is why we stopped. Lunch during business - a common theme in my life. I had falafel and humus. Tasty. I am not giving 4 stars because of the setting, and food was only above average in my humble opinion.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER I've been ordering online from Brickell and Doral locations. The delivery fee for Doral location was $2. The second time I ordered it went up to $5, so I gave them a call. They told me that 'if the delivery charge is more than $2, they take it from your card later' REally??!!! They charge extra to your cards, beware!!! They said they will take $10 from my card. I will do a dispute as soon as they charge it. Just check your card balances after ordering from them!!!

Fantastic food! The chicken did not come on a kabob, but was in kabob size chunks. The lunch plate was a great value for the price!

My go-to lunch spot when I don't BYOL to work! There are a couple of these around town, but my only experience has been at the one in Doral. You place your order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. They also offer take-out and delivery, for a small fee. This is a great, healthy alternative to most other quick service. Everything I have tried here delish, but my standouts are the hummus and chicken kabob lunch box. This is a lunch special. The platter brings: 4-5 pieces of kabob chicken, hummus, pita, basmati rice and Greek salad. For about $9, you can't beat this. My only concern is that sometimes they under cook the chicken and that can lead to problems. Just make sure to ask them to cook it well. Their baklava selection is also really good. Plenty of options if you're not into chicken, with vegetarian offerings as well. Happy to see one of these popping up in my neighborhood on US-1 near the Grove/Gables area...can't wait!

I order lunch from Rice House of Kabob atleast once a week. The food has always been amazing, no matter what I order from the menu. The Tenderloin wrap is amazing, the meat is tender and it is cooked perfectly, and the wrap comes with lettuce, tomato, feta cheese and their delicious yogurt sauce. I'm not sure what is in the sauce, but ITS DELICIOUS! They have awesome lunch specials, which you might want to take advantage of if you are on a tight budget and keep in mind they charge $5.00 to deliver. Over all, I would say they never disappoint and their service is amazing!

Its is the best rice dish that I had in US. Fish is well cooked and spices are the right amount. Its a bit on the expensive side, but well worth it.

I love this place for lunch. The food is fresh/made to order and to me its pretty healthy. The prices are on the high side but they do serve a lot! the humus is amazing and the yellowish sauce is the best! I just wish it was a little more on the low side of pricing. 15 dollars for lunch is just not for every day.

Hello I have been hearing great things about this Restaurant Chain, such as the food, the service and the online ordering. I have never tried the restaurant but as a recommendation from my wife, I decided to give it a shot. I was very happy to see that they sell healthy alternatives at a great price. I went online and used the ordering system, again, all great. I ordered my food and paid without a glitch. I was surprised ten minutes later by a call from the Doral restaurant, an employee was calling me to tell me that the delivery price was $10 instead of the $2 advertised, charged and used on the website. I told her that this was wrong and that I entered my address and the system had given me the $2 delivery charge. She said that there was a "glitch" in the system and that the charge was $10. I asked for a manager. The manager comes to the phone and he heard the story. He apologized for the problem and as a good manager he offered to honor the $2 delivery price from the website. He was calm, understanding and very professional. He said that although he was honoring the $2 delivery charge today, that I should be aware that the next time the charge would be $10, even if the website says it is $2. I advised him that this is highly dubious and possibly illegal, as they are advertising and charging one price and then switching it (bait and switch). He said that he does not have access to the programming of the site. This is why I am writing here. DEAR OWNERS OF RICE HOUSE OF KABOB; Please fix the glitch on your website immediately, you are misleading or at least confusing your costumers and possibly breaking the law by changing the prices after your costumers receive a confirmation of the amount to be charged. All the hard work and training you pour into your employees which is very professional, all the marketing, all the effort put to cook good food, all the money spent on your website's amazing ordering system is wasted because One Little Glitch. COSTUMERS---Caveat emptor! : Do yourself a favor and call the restaurant BEFORE you order and verify the delivery charge, you could be sold on the $2 charge and then asked to pay $10.

I usually go to the RHOK in kendall quite frequently solely based on the fact that It's closest to me, but on occasion, when in the area, I stop by this one. In comparison, I think they marinate their meat better here. Something as simple as a chicken wrap, you can taste the difference. The tomato soup is also tastier here...sooo good. The service, as far as take-out is concerned is quick and the staff is nice. Yeah, the prices may be high for some, but I do think it's good quality meat, and so you get what you pay for.

I ordered the combo number 1 with salad instead of rice to go. Came home and ate it with my own cooked rice which made the taste so much better, the olive sauce that comes with the salad was very tasty as well as their creamy sauce which I'm thinking was for the meats. The salad was just a mix of lettuce, spinach, olives, diced tomatoes, diced cucumbers, and a peppercini. The chicken was nicely grilled and the long meat that look like a piece of turd tasted like beef, not sure what it is but it tasted better than the chicken. It was very filling but quiet expensive for something that is set up like Chipotle dining. I paid $13ish for that lunch, not bad but I wish the price was cheaper.
