Diabetics at Pizza Hut
Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.
Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:
You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.
Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Massimo and his staff are great -- I've now ordered so many times from Pizzarium, and every time it's delicious. Their deliveries are always fast and the delivery persons are always pleasant. I've decided I don't mind a delivery fee and tipping them because it is worth the extra few bucks. I still love their pizzas, especially the Margharita- but the Napolitano calzone with ham added is my favorite. I always ask for extra dipping sauce because it is so good. I will miss you guys when I move to Chicago next week! Thanks for feeding me well while I have been in downtown Miami. :-)

I don't know how they make their pizza so tasty, whether it's the quality of the ingredients or the preparation, but whatever they're doing is working incredibly well. Stop in for an inexpensive slice and you'll be greeted with great atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Honestly probably one of the better pizza places I've been to in Miami.

SO. GOOD. Found this place with great reviews and a short walk from my office during one of my strong pizza cravings and just had to try. I'll admit that I looked at the pizza and I really thought I wouldn't like (I usually like only thin NY style pizza -- what are these squares?!). However, I was immediately IN LOVE at the very first bite. It was delicious! Pizza tasted very fresh, had a crispy yet airy crust, cheese and sauce were incredibly tasty....yum, yum, yum. I believe the special is one "huge" slice (cut into 4 squares -- refer to my picture) with a beverage for $4.99. Good price for great quality pizza. Can't wait to come back!
(5)Elizabeth M.
Love the pizza here. And what you order is what you get. Everything you need from napkins to plates they don't forget like other places.
(5)Maryam H.
Yum! Ordered Pizza one night and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it made it to my place. Under 20 minutes which by Miami standards was amazing. The pizza here was also really fresh and delicious, we ordered the Hawaiian and had zero complaints. Will order again!
(4)Kristin L.
Great food. The pizza crust is light and flaky but thick. I ordered delivery and had my food in 15 minutes.
(5)Jeanette H.
3.5 stars. Perhaps their delivery pizza is the best one in Brickell. Some other places --pizza tends to be too salty. We love ordering from them !!
(3)Jessi M.
Great service, great pizza. The people here were very friendly. The kitchen made an extra Caprese salad so they gave it to us for free. I liked the light and crispy crust. We were there late so they only had margarita or pepperoni for slices but they were good. The slices are a good deal. For $5 you get two pieces which they then cut into 4 squares. Plenty of food for me.
(5)Francisco Y.
Spectacular place, not just to eat but to have a great time, friendly atmosphere, very cozy. I went with my father and he said it was the best pizza he ever try, Ana and Massimo have the italian touch that Miami has always needed, a lot of different flavors, texture and color, it's delicious!
(5)Marco G.
as i approached the counter, my eyes saw the display of different pizzas and my mouth started to water uncontrollably. I ordered the Napoletana Piccante pizza and patiently waited for the staff to bring it to where i was seated. less than 3 minutes later, my pizza squares had arrived and i had a smile from ear to ear. as i type this review, i think about my first bite into the pizza and again, my mouths has started to water uncontrollably! the dough was airy, the seasoning was perfection, and the tomato topping was spot on. the tomato topping was so damn good. it was so fresh, as i was chewing my pizza, i closed my eyes and got a flashback of my italian mother picking tomatoes from the garden. la pizze era molto bene, grazie Pizzarium. I will definitely return for more!!
(5)Andrea G.
Very good pizza and nice place! Not really good service but I think Pizzarium preferes the take away way
(4)Sean B.
Just order already, stop reading this stupid review. It's a pizza, they didn't screw it up (which is hard NOT to do in Miami), and the "deep dish" thing is totally working for it. The dough is great, unless you're looking for a thin crust experience, but we like to alternate based in our mood. The sauce is palatable but not obtrusive, the calzone is great as well, and if you are feeling up to it - Nutella Pizza. Yep, that's a thing.... S
(5)Henry H.
I really like this place. I like that they have something different as far as pizza is concerned. Its not the same old sauce and cheese on a triangle. I have had every flavor slice that they have made and I have to say that I haven't been disappointed in anything. Its definitely a place that is worth trying.
(4)Spencer A.
I broke down and came back with the family to try the pizza. It was better than I expected. Massimo and his wife Ana are true pizza artist. They take the quality and presentation of their food very seriously. The pizza is extraordinarily good. We tried a full pizza- half veggie and half plain. Excellent. I tried a slice of the truffle pizza which was rich and flavorful. Cannot wait to go back- my wife Dina wanted to go back the next day. That says it all.
(5)Ingrid R.
Ugh this is good, why are you this good Pizzarium??? Damn it, damn you! Too good! I've only had their pizza via delivery and it hits the spot every single time. It reminds me of the love I have for Blocks Pizza on South Beach, the ingredients are fresh and I just can't get enough of it. Pizzarium, can you hear me?? I LOVE YOU!
(5)Melvin M.
Pizzarium are making so good pizza, the best for me is the calzone ! (the ingredients are fresh, great labor..) Don't hesitate, just go ! I would love eat pasta also there!
(5)George P.
It's unfortunate that I have to leave a bad review because the pizza is really good. The Margarita pizza is done very well with a light airy crust almost like a Sicilian slice. If you have a choice avoid the delivery option and pick up the food ypurself. Our order was delivered incomplete by the driver. We called them and asked for them to send it over anyway since we had prepaid. They were helpful on the phone and said our missing item would be sent out for deliver. ...another hour and 20 min goes by and we call them back to check on the status only to find out that they made it and instructed the delivery driver to bring it to us. They told us that he refused to drive back and complete our order (3 miles from their location) so they never sent it out to us. We received no notification that it would not be sent out or that we should expect a refund. Instead. We had to call and find out for ourselves that we were not going to get the item and then plead for a refund to which they eventually agreed too they did apologized for the mistake but I just think it's weird that they do not have control over their delivery drivers because they are an arm of their business that literally see the cusomters. I would put that driver on notice for compromising the good reputation of the business.
(3)Apryl A.
The food is great especially the calzones but I've been waiting on my food for an hour on a weekday.
(4)Jonatan G.
I've never actually eaten in the restaurant but we get delivery fairly often. The pizza is always awesome and very filling. The crust is crunchy and airy. It's basically perfect.
(5)David S.
I ordered a pizza because I was hungry and thought it would be fun to try the mushroom pizza. Person on the phone was speaking too fast/with an accent and miscommunicated important information (I had to repeat credit card and address info. I speak very clear English). She told me that the pizza would be here in 20 minutes (which I thought was fast). But I could barely understand her so I said ok. 45 minutes later I call back (as the pizza had not been delivered) and tell her that I have to leave in 30 minutes. She then tells me that the driver will not make it and argues the time she told me. I don't care either way, I am more annoyed that she argued with me instead of finding a solution. At this point I don't care how good the pizza is, I will not be a customers of theres. I would guess that their service is worse at the location. I'll rush and drive to another pizza place instead. I rarely leave reviews.
(1)Ed H.
This pizza is the truth.. Always consistent quality and super quick delivery. You get what you pay for here. Crazy good.
(5)Karina J.
Food was amazing!!!!! A true Miami gem... Calzones are out of this world delicious..... Crust is thin and crispy let the fresh mozzarella and ham shine through. Now the sauce was on the side which perfect so everyone gets as much or as little as they want. A MUST have when in downtown Miami.
(5)Frank M.
Most authentic version of pizza alla Taglia that we have in Miami. Wish this was located closer to Brickell, definitely puts pizza rustica to shame.
(5)Johnny T.
3.5 Perfectly serviceable. Like most downtown eateries, the hours are unfortunate and if you arrive near the end a shift expect some sad looking leftovers. Pizzarium was a place I tried and tried again to patronize when I lived Downtown and I could never get the hours to work for me. One time they were closed because they were off site catering an event (via sign on the door). On another occasion they simply weren't there. No one was around. This is a phenomenon not unique to Pizzarium. There's a struggle for Downtown businesses to stay open past a certain hour. It confuses me and I have my opinions on why... but this review is neither the time nor the place. Once I finally made it inside before closing (on a Saturday evening in early summer), I discovered nice employees. If you're familiar with dining in Miami, you'll know why this is a big deal. Even though I was breaking one of my cardinal rules about patronizing a restaurant with less than an hour to go before close time, I was simply unwilling to try coming back yet again (the 11 pm close time on the weekends is a new thing). The slice thing is a bit confusing and the menu is rather large, so I would recommend taking some time to figure out what's what before coming in to try the food. As I wrote earlier, I came in near close and there wasn't much left to choose from (that's good for them; it means business is good) so I went with the salami (di salumi?) pizza. It was a good-looking, if not a bit unusual for what I expect, stack of salami, soppressata, more (Genoa?) salami, and mozzarella cheese on top of red sauce and on their trademark light, fluffy crust. The crust is a nice trademark that sets Pizzarium apart from all others but that's all I tasted. I kept expecting the pizza to taste like something but, despite the toppings, I kept coming back to the crust. Part of the problem was the pizza was cold and (likely) a bit old given the time of night I picked it up. Perhaps it's worth it to try again?
(3)Robin S.
The pizza here is fantastic. It manages to be both crispy and light but without being greasy. One of the best pizza doughs I have ever experienced. I also tried the arancini which was also very crispy but not greasy. The restaurant itself is fast casual which is fine for the price. The only con is that its downtown location makes for difficult parking.
(4)Carla R.
I spent all day searching for organic pizza in Miami and the options are slim to none. But based on reviews, we decided for Pizzarium. Still not 100% sure how organic it actually is but the veggies and cheese were fresh and the taste was delicious! We had it delivered and by the time we ate it, it was not as hot as it should be, that's the reason I can't give it 5 stars. But I'm sure if it was fresh out of the oven I'd still be dreaming about it! P.s. We had the caprese
(4)Roman R.
When I placed my order from the website of Pizzarium, I opted for a delivery then the payment didn't go through from their website, so I ended up automatically on eat24. Then for some reason it was a pick-up and not a delivery anymore! I called the restaurant after seeing that after 40min they still didn't deliver. The person over the phone didn't want to hear about a delivery, apparently it was too complicated for him. I actually paid for a 15% tip which could have been used as a delivery charge but he still didn't want to hear anything! That person was really rude and impolite! I can not recommend this place!
(1)Roger F.
I found this place on yelp a few weeks ago, looking for a quick slice. I got much more than that. I picked up a full margherita slice (which is actually 2 slices) and an Arancini di Tartufo (Truffle Risotto ball). Damn. I mean seriously, I was blown away. This place is excellent. I've never had such an airy crust on a pizza - I don't know how they did it, but they've got neither the deep, thick crust of Chicago pizza, nor the flat, crunchy crust that you'd find on flatbread. It's amazing. Everything's so flavorful. And the Arancini... I've never had one before, but they're absolutely amazing (not to mention piping hot; you might want to start on your pizza or salad first). Truffle packed balls of risotto that are unlike anything in this world. I don't get downtown too often, but when I do, this place is on my mind. It's one of the best places for a fast lunch downtown.
(5)Mike S.
I've ordered from this place a handful of times and they have never failed to deliver, pun intended, ha! Seriously the best pizza in the downtown Miami/Brickell area and some of the best pizza I've ever had. Wait, it gets better! They have this empanada-esque (don't mean to offend any Italians, it's just the closest thing I can compare to) appetizer stuffed with mushrooms/truffle oil that is UNBELIEVABLE! My only complaint would be that it is a little pricey, but it may be worth it. Enjoy!
(5)Danny O.
I must say, best pizza I've ever had!!! Quality is amazing as well a the staff and their service. Beautiful restaurant and I really love the presentation during lunch hours as the different pizzas are displayed to the customers to choose from. Is something I would definitely love to see grow and have different locations because it deserves it. I highly recommend it
(5)Dion L.
"Hi! Did I get here too late? Do you have some pizza left?" That was me, rolling in at 9:40pm on a Saturday night, to find no more pizza in the glass-walled case, and a sinking feeling in my gut. Several mostly-Italian speakers sadly relayed to me they'd only be selling full-sized pizzas, no single slices. After I asked if they could make an exception, that I had driven 20 minutes to see them (and was leaving to go back home the next morning) and they kindly made an exception. (Hoo-rah-- MAJOR points.) As soon as I dug into the first of two slices of Margherita, I knew there was no shaving the second slice for my husband. Imagine the puffiest, lightest dough (made with specially milled flours you'll read more about on the wall) and the crispest, airiest crust. (They say this recipe is easily digestible, and I believe it.) But then there's the sauce. And copious amounts of cheese. Not the deep-dish American greasy kind, but mild, fresh and flavorful cheese that pulls away in strings and has a chewy finish. It feels satisfying and savory and cloud-like. Can't wait to go back on my next trip to try more of the menu!
(5)Ashley J.
I usually go here for lunch since I have an internship nearby. I get the Margherita pizza and it is the best thing ever. The dough is great and it is crispy. The tomato sauce is awesome as well. It tastes authentic. One of the best pizza spots in Miami!!
(5)William K.
Wrong business review :( not sure how to delete it:(. Sorry!
(5)Kristina F.
Delicious. Genuine. Can't even begin to explain. Best pizza around, definitely worth it for the prize. Fast and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere.
(5)Francis Y.
I wish I could give a better review but the pizza was just meh. I've had better at Sbarro's - seriously!
(3)Tracy B.
I am a pizza snob and this pizza was ok. The crust was good and fresh veggies were a nice touch but the sauce was flavorless. There is garlic, oregano and hot pepper flakes to add, which I felt like it needed. The staff was pleasant and quick. One improvement suggestion would be to add recycling bins for the drinks that are in bottles and cans.
(3)Arhlene A.
excellent a different pizza from rome...had the real deal in canada before so i know..my sister's best friend sister was professional pizza maker from rome and she made authentic pizza and it was amazing just like pizzarium..the difference is in the crust at pizzarium you will not forget it..
(5)Momo B.
DOWNTOWN LUNCH SPOT The ultimate perfect pizza... anywhere in the USA.. Best of all it's here in downtown Miami. Square shaped and cut as if it was a Little Caesars Pizza... but qualitatively and exponentially superior in ingredients on top of a cibatta like airy chewy crippy edged dough. Pepperoni style for my initial taste. Also avaliable are risotto croguettes, salads, and calzoni. Up to nine different styles or create your own pizza.
(5)Phuong O.
Not all their pizzas on the menu are baked and displayed, though I'm pretty sure you can have it made. I got the plain cheese and the broccoli with beef pizzas and both were pretty darn good. The crust/bread of the pizza is in between a thin crust and pan crust, crunchy, chewy, and buttery! I got both pizza by the half, so that's 4 squared pizzas and it was pretty filling. I also got the Siciliano Arancini and that was an interesting piece. It's like a ball of rice mixed with other things such as peas and flavoring, balled up and fried. Not bad, but I like their pizzas better. The place looked clean and comfortable, I paid about $11ish for the 4 squared pizzas, arancini and a can of soda. I didn't see any special combo deals, definitly will be back again for their other pizzas.

Very bad experience! 2 hour delivery!!! Calzone came cold without the extra marina a sauce!
(1)Gaby M.
Ordered the medium tray half and half of Hawaiian and tempesta. The dough is what stands out, it's perfect!! I've been on a search to find a crispy pizza and I've finally found my match. As an Italian I approve this pizza, can't wait to go back again!! Also, the wooden trays that they serve the pizza in are very original, as opposed to the average tray. Qui se magna!!

Delivery thru eat24 came fast. The pizza was fresh and hot. I ordered the pepperoni pizza, it was so good! I also got the berry cake. That was also very delicious! It seemed a little frozen before delivered so maybe it's not freshly made but it still tasted great!
(5)Mark W.
Mmmmm. Really good pizza. The funghetto pizza is my favorite. Very addictive and I keep on coming back for more. The pizzas are roman style and is very authentic according to my Italian friends.
(4)Matthew G.
Confirmed 60 minutes for delivery 90 minutes later called told order was never made 120 minutes later was told they didn't not have all the ingredients 140 minutes later still waiting for pizza! Someone send help! When I am back in Miami I will go with another pizza joint.

Stopped in on a trip to Miami based on the review and close proximity to hotel. Loved everything we had! Meat lovers pizza had the right amount of meat and red onions. The nutella pizza was good. However, we had them mix the ricotta and nitella and fry it in the little sought pockets that they used for an appetizer. They were fantastic! Need to add to the menu!
(5)Lindsay S.
By far the BEST pizza in Miami! I've never been to the actual location but we get it delivered at least once a week (sorta embarrassing, but hey, it's to die for!) it's always fresh, hot, consistent and yummy!! Not sure why some people have a problem with the woman who answers the phone but she's always been very helpful. I'm from NY and can't stand other pizza places in the area because they are always heavy, greasy, and have too much dough. Pizzarium is light, flakey and always the right amount of cheese. My boyfriend orders pepperoni and onion and I always get margherita. The only problem is that they aren't open on Sundays!! Please open on Sundays, that's when we want pizza the most ;)

For a pizza place having 4 1/2 stars, I think one should expect quite a bit. This is not a haphazard review, I've tried their pizza twice both for delivery. The first time was a fungi pizza & Italian ham. That pizza was very difficult to eat since it was extremely oily and had a really intense, not good flavor. I had half the pizza and then had to throw the rest of it away because I did not want to let myself eat more the next day. Had to try it again today because I was craving pizza. Online reviews suggested that the pepperoni was particularly good. So I gave it a try. Unfortunately the pepperoni also suffered from poor flavor and extremely feeling dense pizza at which makes you feel sort of gross. I tried the components of the pizza separately and I think one problem is that their mozzarella is sort of tasteless and maybe not salty enough. The rest is just really bland. Trust me, I love pizza. If I get a good one, no slice is safe with me.... but this pizza is safe with me. I really wonder about all these glowing positive reviews since most are a little bit pickier about the pizza. It is somewhat suspicious to me. That reason I gave them one star because I really want people too have a real idea before they ordered this pizza. It is not horrible pizza, I just felt that it was not very good- definitely not 4.5 star pizza. To the owner who thinks that I am not human... you are wrong... but I encourage you to try ur pizza again and keep an open mind.

We were really excited to come here. Unfortunately this place did not live up to the expectations created by Yelp. We came in around 9ish this evening and saw nearly all the pizza by the slices were gone, so ordered a half and half of caprese and the eggplant pizza. It took maybe 15 minutes before our food came out. As we took our first bites our disappointment arrived. The crust was great, the flavor was not. There was absolutely no seasoning in the pizza. Not from the sauce or the other elements. Sadly, the crust was also burnt. Perhaps because it was late in the day those making the pizza were a bit too tired for quality control which I can empathize with, but wish it didn't cost us so much to find out. Perhaps we will be back another day in the morning to try the pizza by the slices. Time will tell.

great food and service crust is original and AWESOME!

This pizza is terrible. I was really craving a good pizza and salad after being sick, so I ordered a half pepperoni pizza and a Caesar salad after reading the great reviews on yelp. I don't know if these people have never had great pizza before, but this is not it. I am from NYC and expect a lot from my pizza but this was a real let down. The pizza was dense and oily, and my Caesar salad came with a packet of Marie's yoghurt dressing....so much for authentic Italian food...Let's not even get into the fact that it took 90 minutes for the food to arrive and the pizza was cold when it got here- it was just as bad the next day. What a let down.
(2)Anabel R.
I ordered a pizza from this place because it had the best reviews, however the delivery experience was the word I've had so far in Miami. The pizza was supposed to take 45-50min,and an hour and a half later it still hasn't arrived, plus the customer service has also been terrible, they have been telling me for the past 30min that my order is in transit. Definitely not worth the wait.
(1)Ivan C.
Cool place, great pizza.
(4)Stefan T.
the best fucking pizza in miami. period. it all starts with the dough. made with love- tastes best when made by the owner!
(5)John M.
Great pizza, new nespresso machine (which is great), kids like the food, quick and helpful service. 4 stars for meeting expectations and going a bit beyond in the service side
(4)David D.
People say its the airy crust, the airy crust is scrumptious, but the tomatoe sauce is what its all about. Badda bing, badda boom. Thank you!
(5)Laura M.
New discovery Funghetto Pizza. Yes, funny name but awesome taste. Try it. I still love this place. There pizza is so good and not greasy at all.
(5)Eve C.
There's a new pizza place Downtown, and it's serving up some rarely-seen combos to the hungry office workers for ridiculously low prices. Pizzarium follows the typical M.O. we see at pizza joints throughout the area - pre-cooking the pies, and then re-heating your order in the pizza oven right after your order. Overall, not a bad thing, considering many of us are limited in our lunch breaks. A "slice" at Pizzarium is the equivalent to about 1/6th of a large rectangular pizza - sliced in 2 and served on a wooden board hot from the oven. It's a good-sized portion, but for those with more of an appetite, you might consider ordering 2 pieces, or joining with a friend and splitting 3 pieces. Some of the more unique or uncommon pizza toppings involve potatoes and pumpkin cream. Ever since I was introduced to the Genovese pizza at Andiamo many moons ago, I've been a big fan of potatoes on pizza. At Pizzarium, I've tried the patate e salsiccia slice - loaded with cubed potatoes and crumbles of Italian sausage - this is good stuff! Slices run between $4.50 and roughly $6, so with a drink, you can easily get a delicious lunch for under $10 - a rare find in Downtown these days. I know I'll be back often! Welcome to Downtown, Pizzarium!
(4)Daniel C.
Excellent pizza and salads. Most folks in the area use delivery, so the dining room is usually quiet. Our children enjoy the margarita pizza, which is perfect with the fresh basil on top.
(5)Ivette R.
Yummy Pizza I love the pepperoni pizza yummy yummy yummy yummy yummy yummy Pizzarium A Slice of Rome is a weird name although pizza is yummy
(5)Jasmine S.
First time ordering from this restaurant. Most of the restaurants in that area were closed that evening (not sure why...NBA finals??) And we stumbled upon this place. The inside of the restaurant was clean and inviting. The young lady behind the counter was very nice and helpful. Also, the man making the pizza was very kind too. Our pizza was absolutely delicious and filling. Tasted so different then the pizza we are use to at home in Chicago, but just as good! The ingredients were so fresh and perfectly piled on the pizza and spread around. Once we finished, the last behind the counter asked my boyfriend and I at seperate times how we enjoyed our meal. It was a great experience and highly recommended!
(5)Ayesha N.
This place is awesome! The pizzas are so fresh and the variety of options is a major plus. The two times I have eaten here, I have had the funghetto (mushrooms+ truffle+ garlic= heaven). The price is reasonable around $6 for 4 squares. If you only have 30 minutes for lunch, order ahead, walk over and pick it up. The people are friendly and the decor is cute. Great place!

Pizzarium is my hands-down favorite slice pizza joint in the Central Business District #DWNTWN. I've only been to about a half-dozen places, but at this time, Pizzarium is IT. It's housed in a nicely decorated, clean, modern space on Flagler Street a little east of Miami Avenue, with plenty of indoor seating. You order at the counter, and are issued a numbered little stand, and after your pizza is heated it's delivered to your table. There's a customer accessible soda fountain, with all the free refills one might want. The pizzas are pre-cooked, and a variety of delightful, authentic, Italian-style toppings are on the displayed pizzas at the counter. The signage boasts of "all-fresh, organic seasonal vegetables" etc, The pizzas are square, and cut into about 4" x 4" squares. A "slice" is a pair of squares. A "taster slice" is one square. The taster slice is a great way to mix and match pizza types, especially if you are not with a group. There are 27 pizzas described on the menu. I'm not sure whether all are available simultaneously, but there were quite a few each time I've been there. The crust is amaaaaazzzing. It's made with Italian flour, and the dough is what as known in the baking business as "retarded." The rising is slowed by refrigeration, allowing lots of bubbles to form without overly heavy use of yeast. The result is a medium-thickness, light and airy crust, crisp on the outside without being dense. The tomato sauce on the types I had was fresh-tasting, and tasted like it was made in-house, as described on the menu. There were fresh, whole basil leaves on my Margherita slices. The cheese was a nice, fresh, mild mozzarella. Prices run from $3.00 to $5.50 per double-slice, with most being $4.95. Service was fairly quick - after getting a soda, picking a table and getting settled and checking in on Yelp, the food arrives quickly, served on little wooden faux pizza paddles. Recommended!

If there was a race car themed pizza joint this would be it. I really like it. Since its downtown its mostly filled with the work crowd on the weekdays, and they cater to them by offering great specials. This is a classier fast food joint. A grade up from your regular divey pizza joint (ala Gino's on the Beach). Everything here is clean and chrome (hence the race car comment). They serve Nespresso coffee and offer a few desserts but nothing too extravagant. While there aren't too many pizzas to choose from, all of them are pretty tasty. If you were in the area, it's definitely worth a try, but please don't drive all the way downtown to try it.
(4)Zack W.
I certainly did not expect to find such awesome pizza in Miami. The pizza crust is incredible, not at all like a NY style, almost like an airy flat bread. The sauce and cheese were plentiful and the toppings were generous. I was very impressed with this pizza and would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for some pizza while in Miami. I did not look too hard at the other options on the menu, but it looks like they carry the standard suite of pizzaria options. The restaurant was clean and very welcoming.
(5)Daniella B.
My new favorite pizza! The sauce was delicious and you can taste the freshness. The only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is because delivery took a little over an hour and we live almost right next to it. Even with the wait and all the flavors were all there and will definitely eat from there again.
(4)Natalie G.
Best pizza in Miami! It's the only pizza I eat that actually feels good to eat it - it's unique in the sense that it's not salty and greasy like most pies... just fresh and delicious. My favorite is the funghetto pizza - a must try! A slice is the perfect size, and I love the "taster slice" option (half the size of a slice) so you can mix and match. Ask for parmesan, because it's not always out and distribute accordingly. The side caesar is really good and only $3. It's an open kitchen so you can see them making all the pizzas with fresh toppings. The deserts are pretty good too. A fantastic lunch spot when you're in the downtown area.
(5)Veronica V.
I am going to start this review by saying that this was the first time trying pizza from Pizarium. I ordered delivery and since it was the first time it wasn't easy to decide witch one to choose. The girl that answered the phone was very friendly and helpful! I specified that I am vegetarian and I wanted initially to do a half and half pizza to try different vegetarian options but at her recommendation I went for the Funghetto medium tray ... And I have to say if you love mushrooms and truffle then this pizza is Heaven on earth ! My husband and I loved it and it was plenty for 2 ! I ll Definatly order again a different kind ! Gave it a 5* for the quality of the pizza, costumer service and delivery service !
(5)Samantha B.
This is sooooooooooooooooooo amazing and i will definitely come back. Some of the best pizza i ever had. Amen to food that make you wanna slap your momma.
(5)Michelle L.
Best pizza delivery we have had in our 3 years living downtown Miami. Great fresh ingredients, chewy and crunchy crust. Plus the arancini were amazing. Yum.
(5)Julie F.
At the time I went, there were only a few people there and only about 5 pizzas types to choose from for slices. You can order a Create your own Pizza, but I just wanted to give it a try and I wasn't that hungry. You can order a half slice or a whole slice. A whole slice is two squares, which they then cut into 4 smaller squares. The concept seems kinda funny, but it does make for easy eating and sharing. I ordered a slice (4 pieces) of Margherita Pizza and a fountain drink for 4.50. It was delivered to our table a few minutes later and served on a cutting board. Anyway, about the pizza. It was pretty amazing. I really never had anything like it before, but I imagine if I went to Italy maaaaaaaybe this is what pizza would taste like. There is something so unique about the crust. There is a board on the wall that explains how they use a high percentage of water and little yeast, then let it sit for 96 hours. It's so crispy and light, but not thin and the flavor that it picks up from the oven was just right. Not burnt tasting like the coal oven pizza places. They also have a nepresso coffee machine that is pretty cool. If I ever go back to downtown Miami again, I am definitely ordering a tray of pizza.
(4)Karina G.
I love this pizza! It is great to have an independent pizza place that is really good. i tried the arancini ball with truffle and was amazing. Friendly staff by the way.
(5)JoAnn D.
Great pizza! Their crust is amazingly light and delicious. I had the eggplant and meat pizzas and loved both. This is a great lunch spot in Downtown Miami. I highly recommend it.
(4)Caroline K.
Let me start by saying that I was *very* hungry when we finally arrived at Pizzarium for a late lunch, so my opinion on the spot may be slightly biased by a tourist-induced hypoglycemia. However, this place had some of the best tasting and most unique pizzas that I have ever had! I just took the recommendation of the guy at the counter, and ordered 3 "tasters" which are the single slices they have in the case. (Confusingly enough, if you order a "slice" it is actually two pieces...yeah.) Each was delicious and had its own unique mix of flavors. The boyfriend and I also split a salad. It's probably the most he has ever seen me eat in one sitting, because I devoured my 3 tasters, half our salad, and then proceeded to try his slices as well. I was SO stuffed for the rest of the day but it was worth it! The place is a nice modern casual feel...you order and pay at the counter and then they bring you your slices displayed on a wooden cutting board - the presentation is excellent. Overall, I am super sad this place is all the way across the country, but I will certainly return if I am ever in Miami again. I encourage you all to check it out!
(5)Diego T.
I love their pizza but they're not open on Sundays. It's soooo good but it's such a cruel f'n joke that they wouldn't serve pie on the one day of the week designed for a good pie. Why don't you close Monday? Tuesday? All good days to eat healthy and save money. Sunday??? Not one of those days...and on 4/20?!?! That's just mean man...that's just mean.
(5)C S.
The best of the best! Light, airy, non-greasy food that doesn't leave you with indigestion or ready for bed 20 minutes later. Excellent customer service. My husband and I go here once a week because it's so close to where we live. Authentic Italian for real! The Mozzarella e Pepperoni Calzoni is a must try. Always get it with the fresh basil on top....perfection! High quality food at an excellent value.
(5)Jensen E.
So this is the spot to pop my Miami Yelp cherry. Cheers! After a long and hectic week of moving the fellow and I were dying for pizza..We ordered from these guys via Grub Hub. NOTE: We moved from Brooklyn. Let's just say our standards for pizza are impossibly high. Delivery arrived on time and it was correct. We were delighted to see a square pizza brought to our door! Their unique crust is tasty and light.. I liked that I could stuff my face with half a pizza without COMPLETELY despising myself. Unfortunately the pizza was room temperature so it wasn't ooey-gooey and I had to add garlic and parm to make our margherita more flavorful. Overall it was a B+ pizza. Truthfully I give it a 3.25-3.5 but I have a hunch it's one of the better pizza joints out here and it showed up on time so I'm upping the score.
(4)Jen B.
MEATLOVERS! This is by far the best pizza I have had in Miami.
(5)Jordan N.
This is Roman-style pizza. What does this mean? Pizza Rustica. Yeah - they're pretty much the pioneer into that type of thick-crust, squarish pizza that has become synonymous with Miami pizza for out-of-town visitors. Admit it - us locals every once in a while gets a visitor that says "Oh, I've heard of Rustica!" - and yes, they've branched out to even be a multi-state chain. So Roman-style pizza in the United States has Miami to thank for. And considering this, what other place would be a better place than Miami to have a high-standard Roman-style pizza? Maybe Rome! But otherwise, it's Miami - of course! So after stepping into this pizzarium, I noted that the place looks pristine. It's clean, feeling like a modern New York loft with comfortable seating. Nothing about it said that it was going to be a cheap place. Even the display of the 27 different kinds of pizza looked like it was made with perfection and love - it felt like I was looking at works of art. And once you order, yes - they do reheat it in the oven - they put it on this wooden tray which makes this feel so much more of a sophisticated dining experience than I would ever get at any other pizza place. As for the pizza, it will surprise by having elevated the standard slice to another level - selling the tastier rendition of the focaccia-like crust that actually melts and feels better in your mouth than Rustica - a perfectly-made fluff of heaven. And the toppings are even a step above from the typical standard that you can find in your local grocery store. I had ordered the tirolese ($4.95 for a slice with mushrooms, speck and fontina cheese). There are other slices that has pancetta, Milano salami, pumpkin cream, mortadella, buffalo mozzarella, or smoked scamorza cheese - to name a few. They also have carefully crafted calzones, salads, Italian dessert and coffee (including Nespresso). And the best part of it? They even compete with Rustica's prices - with their slices being between $3 and $5.95. This higher-standard doesn't come with a price tag costing your arm or leg. They even think of the students in the area, offering 10% discounts to those who are studying toward a better future. I'm still struggling trying to figure out how they're able to pull out a superior product than Rustica at the same price (maybe it's the size although I was happy enough with mine). Hungrier people can order two anyways, without breaking the bank. A welcomed and surprising addition to downtown Miami, out of all places! For Roman-style pizzas, this place gets all the five stars.
(5)Nikolai B.
Delicious. Love this pizza the dough is nice and thick and the Nutella pizza is a nice desert after piling on all those other carbs.
(5)Danny H.
Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Look, I'm no pizza conosseur, but the Hawaiian pizza with prosciutto is da bomb! Crispy, airy crust with light sauce, chunks of ripe pineapple and thinly sliced prosciutto make for pure pizza awesomeness. The Funghetto (mushroom) pizza was great too. This one is a must for mushroom lovers. My wife said the campagnola pizza was great as well. Pretty authentic pizza here and NO resemblance of Americanized pizza garbage. Go now and seize the day!
(5)Clay R.
This pizza was really good. THe crust was thick, but light. I am giving this a 4 star instead of 5 because I ordered a Medium 2 topping pizza and it came out to $25. Thats pretty steep.
(4)Teresa K.
Husband and I grabbed dinner here on our way to an event. We got a sampler of slices and half slices which took a bit of time to figure out. The staff was friendly and made good suggestions. The pizza itself was ok. The crust wasn't too heavy which I liked, but some of the pizza slices were kind of bland. I did appreciate the variety available, but I am not sure it is worth dealing with downtown parking to go back.
(3)Jonah K.
Nice spot, and a cool concept. We stopped in for an early dinner on Saturday night, and there was not a soul in the place the whole time we were here. The whole slice vs half slice thing is completely confusing. We ended up splitting a bunch of slices, the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The pizza was all so/so, there was nothing that blew me away. There are many better spots around, not sure I'd come back here.
(3)Jackie B.
Just placed my first order using eat24. Pizza looks great and reviews are mostly amazing. After 30 min I get a text from eat24... The restaurant can't be reached. Then they called me and said they spoke to the owner and he had to leave early due to an emergency. So they just closed. That's the strangest thing. Won't try again, sorry!
(1)Lincoln B.
Enjoyed this pizza very much! They have a variety of unique toppings. I had a pizza with different types if salami and it was delicious. My favorite part was the crust!
(5)David G.
The delivery was a total disappointment. Everything was completely cold, I guess because it took so long to come. We ordered the caprese and the eggplant pizza. We did not like either one of them. The bread was so thick and there was no sauce on either one. Definitely not our kind of pizza.
(2)Omar A.
I had a party for about 40 people for the heat game and I used Piazzarium for catering. I will say there is not one person who tried the food that didnt rant & rave about how good the pizza were. We had 4 different types and all over them were great. I highly recommend you try this place. Be well, The food snob!
(5)Juan S.
Really good Pizza. It is similar in style to Pizza Rustica; however, it is of much higher quality. Definitely worth the walk on Flagler. Very hip and cool urban atmosphere too. Service is friendly and the prices are good too. I'd definitely return.
(4)Hussein O.
They have very good pizza it was a bit burnt i believe that's how they make it but the ingredients tasted fresh and tasty. They helped us chose the size of pizza and they were very nice. The place was clean all in all it was a good experience.
(4)Mauricio V.
With a delicious crust and fresh ingredients Pizzarium is easily the best pizza in the area. You won't be disappointed...
(5)Dustin G.
My wife was extremely happy with the pizza she said it's by far the best pizza he's ever had in downtown Miami. We had a funghetto. Delicious!
(5)Monica A.
I got a flyer for this place placed under the door of my apartment, so figured I'd give it a try. It was a good choice. It's not your typical pizza - it's a foccacia crust and cut into squares. It was DEFINITELY better than it's similar counterpart, Pizza Rustica, which only tastes good when you're inebriated and duck in there at 2 AM. We ordered the funghetto, the salami tempesta, the margherita, and a classic calzone. It was a perfect meal and delivered within the alotted time that the person who took my order promised. If you're not in the mood for a "typical" pizza, this is a good bet.
(4)Lola D.
This place ... Is not a delivery pizza kind of place... This is a full experience .. When u walk in you feel the good energy, the music, the service and then "THE FOOD" amazeballssss!!!! My new italian relationship w this restaurant looks very solid!!!!!
(5)Rolo T.
I was excited to try this pizza because of the interesting ingredients (you don't see pumpkin cream and smoked scamorza on pizza everyday). Unfortunately, the pizza itself tasted ok but not great. The dough was a little too bready for my tastes. At any rate, it's definitely better than Pizza Rustica. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
(3)Terrell F.
The place to go for pizza in Downtown Miami's historic Central Business District - right on Flagler Street. Great slices/great prices.
(4)Lorien A.
The best dough and crust ever. So light, crispy and chewy all at once. I could've just eaten the crust, but of course the pizza itself was amazing as well!
(5)Chrisssy S.
I have ordered delivery from Pizzarium twice. Both times, amazing pizza and service!
(5)Andres M.
Quality. A more "authentic" Pizza Rustica style place. They have a really diverse selection of Pizza - something for everyone.
(5)Vibe Manager O.
Great find, unusual pizza creations and a cool atmosphere. I'd certainly return next time I'm working in downtown Miami.
(5)Michelle L.
The ingredients are fresh and delicious. The variety is exciting and diverse. But the crust has a hard time staying fresh in this Miami humidity. More often than not, it has the consistency of a dish sponge. Also, I think it would help if you once again invest in proper take-out containers. Taking my slice to my office on a paper plate, wrapped by a paper bag is not really a thing. You invented that as a necessity and it doesn't work.
(3)Ali S.
Excellent pizza, really really good, nice variety of toppings. A bit expensive though. In Rome they don't even charge this much.
(5)Mariela M.
Nice place for pizza. Beer @$3.74! That's a deal! They've got some nice combinations. You must try the one with different kind of mushrooms.
(4)Marty C.
First off - don't let Yelp's semantics fool you, this spot is smack dab in the center of downtown in the "historic" Flagler shopping district. Second, do pay attention to its four star rating because Pizzarium makes a mean slice of Za. They use a special flour that's allegedly imported (always makes stuff sound cooler) and gives the pizza a really airy light dough - hooray for digestibility! The toppings are all fresh, high quality ingredients and there's a bunch of interesting flavor profiles being offered. Just the other day I had the Zucca that had pumpkin in the sauce and it was amazing. The Montanara with mushrooms, smoked speck (think lean prosciutto), mushrooms, garlic, oregano, and black truffle cream is bold as hell with big flavor. The only things holding me back from 5 stars are the sometimes meager slice selection later in the day and they only tease the slices in the oven so your pizza might be lukewarm. Maybe need to start asking for well done. Regardless, you gotta try this place - it's the best pizza in Downtown.
(4)Mindy H.
I agree with a recent review making this a bud in the new bouquet of flowers opening in downtown Miami. Recently two transplants from Italy have landed in the neighborhood that is growing by the month. We ordered a sample slice of margherita which was two slices cut for two persons. The crust was thin and fluffy like eating the perfect crust of a traditional round pizza. The sauce was so delicious that my companion decided to go for another round for us during our late afternoon lunch. The place was spotless the decor very open and themed. Included in the offering was a self serve N espresso machine and a Eccolo Pop Cart serving delicious frozen fruit pops. Eccolo Pop is located in this neighborhood. The music was almost perfectly selected, very upbeat Stevie Wonder and K C and the Sunshine Band Pandora mix. They can serve 1 or 1000, they can deliver too. When visiting downtown Miami we would eat here again in a blink.
(5)Susan S.
This pizza is fabulous and completely worth the carbs. Try it. Funghetto pizza is amazing and full of truffle oil. Yum!
(5)Allie W.
I think this pizza was really good. WAY better than Pizza Rustica. The best fast-casual pizza option in Brickell/Downtown. I had it delivered and it was awesome.
(4)Eliana D.
The pizza maker is a genius! To give you an idea it's like the way he makes pizza is like a painter with his best piece of art!! I'm from Italy and never had anything like that in my entire life! I wish you all the success of this world, you deserve it!
(5)Cris G.
Since when is pizza left out all day good???
(1)Pistolwhip D.
Thin crust ...square pieces...excellent flavor combos. A hidden gem in Downtown. It is about time we got a gourmet pizzeria that is priced right and is well staffed. Pieces are perfect for sharing as they are cut in half, so sharing is perfectly easy. I'm so happy right now !!
(5)Sergio D.
I'm 100% italian (from Milan) and I'm always on the hunt for places that reminds me of home. Today I was walking around Downtown when I found Pizzarium, and since I'm always very skeptical about "italian" places (I had bad experiences with places that claim to be "italian" but turn out to be ran by people which the closest thing to Italy they have ever been to is Olive Garden, if you know what I mean), I always try to understand first if the joint is actually ran by Italians from Italy (again, not from 3rd-4th generations italian-americans). Well, with much happiness I found out that Pizzarium is ran by Romans, and these guys are serious and very passionate about their food: the pizzaiolo that I've had the pleasure to talk to today with went to the University of Pizza in Rome and really knows how to cook a delicious roman-style pizza. The dough is tasty, crunchy and soft at the same time (as it's supposed to be), the tomato sauce is just perfect (not too salty, not too sweet), the mozzarella is as good as it can be and the final touch that tells you right away that these guys are italian: the fresh olive oil on top of the pizza after it came out of the oven. If you have never been to Italy and never tried pizza there, well go here and give it a try, it won't let you down. I also highly recommend the arancini, which are fried rice balls garnished with various toppings: today i had the Siciliano (which is THE arancino, with ragù, cheese, ham and peas) and the one with mushroom, truffle and cheese. DELICIOUS. To people that compares this place as Pizza Rustica, no, not even close. Pizza Rustica is a good imitation of roman pizza, this is the real thing. And they charge you more than what Pizzarium does. Conclusion: if you wanna get a 100% real italian pizza, go here, it's totally worth it. We italians are really really picky when it comes to our food, so if you get an advice from one of us to go eat to a place we recommend, don't even think twice, go and enjoy!

If you want an excellent slice of pizza, this is your place in Downtown Miami. Their pizza is absolutely fantastic with a wide variety to satisfy anyone's taste buds. I ordered the Funghetto Pizza which was loaded with mushrooms, oregano, mozzarella and drizzled with a truffle creme... AMAZING! Secondly, I ordered the Rucolina which was equally as impressive with onions, arugula, olives, cherry tomatoes and drizzled with a balsamic reduction.. all in all this pizza was rich, creative, and made me want more! I will definitely be back to explore Pizzarium's endless list of delicious menu options!
