Diabetics at Pizza Hut
Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.
Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:
You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.
Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Gourmet pizza this is not. But it rivals other big chain pizza parlors. Ha, I just said(wrote) pizza parlor. Who says that anymore?! ; 0 ANYWAY, this shop has been in the neighborhood for over 15 years. Support the little guys and give them a try. They're as cheap or cheaper than Domino's and Papa John's, so there's nothing to loose. They have yummy little garlic bread rolls and they have other things you can order as well, like Calzones. In my experience, and I've used them twice; they're delivery is fast and courteous and I'm on the edge of their delivery radius, so I am VERY impressed.

Been going to the place for years. Never again will I return. I asked for a small container of sprinkle cheese to take home. I was told it wold be 1.00 for the tiny container. When questioned about it I was told they have to pay for the cheese. But I can use the sprinkle cheese that's on the counter for free . When that is put on you use even more then what's in the container. Come dude get real. I plan on spreading the word around the shores gladly. .

The good: - Real close, in the heart of Miami Shores so you don't have to go far, it's right in the neighbourhood. - Cheap. Real cheap. You can definitely get a lot for your money. - The price and location make it a great place for the kids, throw a pizza party for the next birthday. - You never have to wait long for your pie, they're rolling all the time. - It's pizza. The not so good: - They use A LOT of cheese. Maybe you'll dig this more than me. - The sauce is VERY sweet, just a step or two away from ketchup. Again, maybe you'll dig this more than me, if you're under the age of 25 perhaps. (If you're under the age of 12, you'll go bananas for it.) East Side is still my gold standard for pizza, but Pizza Point is different enough (and sweet enough, with all that cheese & sauce) that it's going to serve another kind of taste bud, and yeah, the kids love this place.

I logged in here after like 2 years just to create this (my first) review because I've never been treated so bad. First, the guy who answered the phone had almost no voice and I could barely understand what he was saying. Perhaps a better idea would be to have that guy making, or delivering the pizzas, and have ANYONE else answer the phone. I could've dealt with this if it ended there, but no. I gave my order, and told him I wanted to pay with a card. He's rushing me, but I read him the numbers slowly and carefully, and I get to the end, and he reads me back the last few numbers incorrectly. I very clearly corrected him, but he quickly moved on so I assumed he had it right. He calls me back 2 min later and says very rudely "the cards not working." So I read him back the number and he has the nerve to say "oh you said it was [incorrect number]." No man, I didn't. In fact I corrected your mistake and you ignored it. At this point I literally almost thought he was joking with me because of how rude he was acting. Finally I just said "I'd like to cancel my order." And he said "ok" and hangs up. I work in the busiest retail environment imaginable, so trust me when I say I understand what it's like to be busy. Still, I have never, and could never treat anyone the way this dude treated me. Please take my advice and never eat here. I won't.

I just discovered this place. The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but their food is pretty good and is cheap. The pizza reminds me a little bit of Steve's over on Biscayne... not quite as good but also much much cheaper (and closer). They have a decent menu with pizza, calzones, pasta, etc. They even have gyros which can be hard to find sometimes. If you live in the Shores and are looking for a pizza place, I would definitely give this place a try.

It is what it is, cheap, delicious no frills pizza. I ordered the special: 1 large pizza, 2 can sodas and garlic bread for 8.00. Quick delivery. I gave them an extra star for no delivery fees. I tipped of course

Good prices and good food. Not great but good. I order from here if I don't want to splurge for mama Jennie's and don't feel like settling for little Caesars. Better than your franchise dominos, papa johns, Pizza Hut, etc. If the prices weren't so great I probably wouldn't eat here too often.
(3)Paul M.
Gourmet this place certainly is not. However, this is the best delivery value in the Miami Shores area. PERIOD. Here are some of the unbelievably cheap deals here: 2 large cheese pizzas - $11.99 Gyro on Pita & Chips - $5.99 Stromboli for 2 - $5.99!! I find that I spend around $40 for 2 every time I order delivery, but when I order from here it is much closer to $20. This will not be the best pizza you ever had, but it is much better than Domino's, Pizza Hut, or Papa John's. Plus they give you free sodas with every pizza. Plus - there is no delivery charge either! How this place stays in business is beyond me, but as long as they are around I will be ordering from them regularly. Support this local business the next time you are looking for a great meal at an even better price!

1 Large Everything Pizza (mushrooms, peppers, onions, pepperoni, sausage, cheese, etc.) 1 order of Garlic Rolls 2 12 oz sodas Grand Total: $17 (plus tax) Pizza is always ready within 15 minutes, even at 8pm on Saturday. I really like the taste of the pizza. The crust is particularly well done. The owners will be serving Chinese take out soon.
(5)Samantha H.
Hate it! Tried it twice and was SEVERELY disappointed both times. The second time was even worse than the first. Soggy pizza, sweet sauce, and cheap toppings. Don't waste your money.
(1)Ryan M.
Large pizza with two sodas and a bag of garlic rolls only 8.99. Holla atcha boii Great family own and run business with good prices and good tasting pizza. I have been coming to this place since the early 90's. My brother Rony M. and I used to order calzones from here all the time and have known the family since we were kids.
(5)Steven G.
Pizza was good, could have been cooked a bit more but that is an easy fix at home. Salads good as well! Friendly staff, local and CHEAP. 2 large pizzas, 2 salads, $18. Support our local businesses! Lots of offerings to try, and I will

Good pizza at a good price. Nothing fancy but it will hit the spot. My family has been ordering from this place for years. Call to ask about their specials, they always have great deals!

I have only ordered pizza off the menu so that is all I can speak of. I have ordered pizza there on several occasions hoping that I just got a bad batch but today was the final straw. I usually get a plain jane pepperoni pizza but decided to spice things up a bit and get a pepperoni AND mushroom! Yea! The pizza came out and the mushroom was very bland looking. I asked how come it looks that way and they told me that they use canned toppings. Come on now! Ridiculous! I should have returned the pizza because it tasted exactly how it looked. Blah! The canned mushrooms must have been the cheap off brand kind because it was TASTELESS. I actually had to scrape it off to make the pizza edible. They're prices are not the best. You dont deserve to call yourself a pizza place if you use canned toppings; and not even the name brand ones. Their sauce is not a party either. Just go somewhere else if you have a craving for a slice of pizza.
(1)Toniko W.
Hands down, you can't beat this place for the price. The sauce is a bit on the sweet side, but over all it is good. My kids love it. The staff are really nice also.
