Diabetics at Pizza Hut
Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.
Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:
You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.
Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Not a big fan of the pizza . In fact all of my guest were not happy with the taste and it is way too pricey I will not be dining here

This review is based only on a pizza delivery experience. Good Barese Pizza with San Marzano tomato sauce, burrata cheese, arugula, cherry tomatoes, speck, parmigiano cheese, and black peppers. it was around 18$ + 3$ delivery fee. I also noticed that if you order online they give you a 5% discount which will pay for the extra fee. The pizza was delivered on time and it was delicious. Tasty dough and good ingredients. Will order again for delivery and will make plans to visit and try the Yelp deal.

So this place is convenient, they are located only 11 floors down from my sofa. I usually get the calzone which is freshly made and easy for pickup. Its pretty big, could probably feed two. So why the 3 star? Cause its not memorable, its nothing out of the ordinary and the prices are on the high side. They have parking in the back and have some sort of lunch specials during the weekend. They have nice italian music playing and the decoration is funky.

This place took my delivery order at 11:30pm when they closed at midnight and I sat at my house for about an hour starving thinking they were on they're way when they sent me an email that they had canceled my order. I don't know the reason for canceling my order. They were probably lazy or what but all I know is I was waiting for an hour and they did not let me know they weren't coming. I think they wanted to close and therefore did not deliver. I do not know the quality of food but I would definitely not recommend for service or delivery as they are obviously self centered and ready to go home

I ordered pasta and my gf ordered a salad with strawberries. Finally when the food arrived two hours later the order was all screwed up. $35 we called to have them send the most important ingredient and they never bothered.. Trashy place and poor management.. I will never order from there again... And would recommend everyone to avoid this place!!!!
(1)Ashley L.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I ordered delivery which was only half a mile away. I ordered pasta for my bf and I ordered a spinach salad that comes with strawberries. More than an hour goes by and the delivery guy called that he was lost. As I open my salad it's missing the main ingredient the strawberry. I called the restaurant because I was extremely upset. She says she would send the delivery guy with a new salad. No one ever came. This was a waste of money 31$ later and I'm starving left with no dinner. This is absolutely unacceptable. Improve on your customer service skills.

I am giving 5 stars because I know how bad online ratings can affect a business which I'm just not about and also because this place has potential to become my new to go spot for good Neapolitan food. So here it is.. My experience is truly a 2-3 stars but would like this place to get better so hopefully this will be taken as constructive criticism and not just critic. Was greeted within 1 minute with a smile ( good enough for a small not so busy place) First impression when we sat was why is the table so sticky? Then realized it's probably just the type of varnish used on the wood but was annoying to me and my husband pretty much the whole time. The waitress came, and I ordered carpaccio, margherita pizza, lasagna, penne pomodoro, iced tea, sparkling water and a free bottle of wine from yelp promo with 2 entrees. The place was empty and it took about 10 min to get drinks.. Why? Place order.. Open a fridge, get drinks and glasses and bring it up.. 5 min max? No specials of the day, no hello welcome.. My name is.. Etc.. ( the server was really nice and helpful the whole time. I believe what's missing here is lack of staff training and expectations from ownership and management ) Missing some structure overall on service. Carpaccio.. Was not fresh cut cold beef, was a cured salted meat?? It was still good since I like that kind of stuff and the arugula, cherry tomato, artichoke and abundant fresh Parmesan was great. Lasagna ok not memorable. Penne pomodoro :///// so undercooked!! Not al dente.. Really chewy undercooked :(( .. Didn't say anything, I didnt want any negative interaction for I just wanted to relax and enjoy my time even though I really felt like returning it. Pizza was very good .. Ordered a second one. The pizza was awsome!!! Exquisite pizza!! Next on my list the one with fresh truffles. The bottle offered on yelp ended up being white, I asked if it could be red, was told no, then told it could be red but I would be charged an extra, I stuck with red and wasn't charged, which was greatly appreciated!!! I think the drink prices on the menu are great, the food is well priced. The pizza was good, the server was really nice and came everytime expected with a smile. Right now I would order again but probably only pizza and take out with wine at home... Would love for this place to be my good pizza, good simple pomodoro pasta with occasional awsome specials that make you go out of the box and feel so happy you did, very good fresh simple salad with real fresh carpaccio with great proactive service and good prices that make you return all the time, especially being close to home. Hope this happens! :)

This pizza place on biscayne is absolutely the best in town. All ingredients are incredibly fresh and the taste of the San Marzano Sauce is to die for. Definitely 200% recommended.

Came by during business hours on Sunday and they weren't open - the person inside didn't even come out to explain or say when they would open. Should have opened 2 hours prior. Lame.

This is an excellent pizza place conveniently located ... We were staying at the Hilton Downtown Miami. My wife & I each had the Sausage, Mushroom, Pepperoni pizza with a glass of Pinot Grigio & Cabernet respectively. The pizza was amazing with a great price as well!! The staff were extremely friendly and provided great service!! I would highly recommend Pizza Pazza to anyone with a hunger for Italian!!!!

After getting my hair done in the neighborhood this week i invited friends to have dinner around the salon i was at. After they couldn't meet me and since i was really hungry i decided i needed to order something for pick up before i left the salon. I placed an order via Eat 24 for 3 or 4 dishes to take home for dinner. Once i leave the salon i get to Pizza Pazza to pick it up, i was informed my order was not ready. WHAT???. The girl at the counter proceeded to tell me that the manager or whoever was there before her received the order but never passed it to the kitchen. WTF?? First strike. Thankfully, the place was not too crowded and i was too hungry to go someplace else or get bitchy so i decided to wait. After about 20 minutes, they had everything ready. Even though i did not have waiter service, the check was asking for a tip, i did tip because i am a good tipper and i feel bad, but in reality i shouldn;t have. Anyway, once i got home we ate and everything was good, but not great. It is definitely not authentic Italian pizza, pizza has a thin, crusty bread this has a semi-thick one. The sauce was also not very good, it said it was made with San Marzano tomatoes but i don't think it did. It was more like a frozen sauce. The arugula, speck and cherry tomatoes were fresh. The burrata dish was ok. Not enough cream. I like my burrata really creamy. It also had mushrooms which i had never had in a burrata, but i like mushrooms so it was ok. The lobster ravioli was good but way to heave on the cream and too much cheesy. I would have been happier with just a light cream sauce and easier on the cheesy. Overall, ok place if you're hungry and in the vicinity. Otherwise, not worth it.
(3)Michael M.
I ordered a pizza from here and it got here ice cold and the sauce was runny like water. The flavor just isn't there and it's similar to eating leftover pizza from the night before. I won't be ordering from here again.
(1)Codis K.
Received this poorly written message from the owner after my review. "Hello Codis stop wasted the time doing reviews that don't have any point, if you want to eat in an autenthentic napolitan restaurant that's us for sure if you want a italian american food defintly us is not the choice for you." Apparently authentic Neapolitan means raw pasta, waiters arguing with you, and owners harassing you! lol
(1)Monica A.
After an activity-filled sunday funday, Pizza Pazza definitely hit the spot. The garlic bread was good, just a little bit too drenched in garlic. The margarita pizza was excellent! Service was great. We sat outside & enjoyed our delicious meal!
(4)Sergio F.
You know my relationship with Italian food. When I invite friends to lunch I automatically get the disclaimer of "No Pizza No Italian". But if I'm dining solo, especially in Ultra recovery mode, I'm going to get italian! For starters, the downtempo EDM soundtrack (Kaskade, Blank & Jones) allowed me to hold on to the TikiTiki grooves a little longer. Wayne my bartender / server was also nice enough to change the TV from soccer to NBA basketball. Huge points for service! My caprese salad (as shown in the picture) speaks for itself. Creamy burrata cheese, plentiful fresh greens and huge tomato slices. They even gave me added sweet balsamic vinegar. My margherita pizza was delicious with more pomodoro sauce than cheese (how I like it!) Hot and just perfectly crispy. I was hoping for lasagna but was told they had run out of that. Hence I'm holding off the fifth star until I can check out their pasta dishes. I'll be back soon!

Fresh Ingredients, great crust, awesome Pizza and my life saver delivering straight to my room while staying at the hospital. Cant wait to visit the place.

I am from New York and I know what real pizza is. This is the only place to eat real Italian pizza. Come eat hear and you will agree with me.

Naples, Italy meets downtown Miami when it comes to Pizza. Salvatore gives you the feel like you just stepped into a pizzeria in Italy - the quality, the taste, and more. For lunch or dinner - worth every bite and sip. Plus, Free parking in the back!
(5)Lisa P.
This place is very deceiving chef Nicola berttolotti as advertised on their menu does not work there . So best New York pizza 2006 is not made here. This is another Miami pizza restaurant. False advertisement
(1)Kristine M.
I love the aragula salad! There were good proportions of aragula, goat cheese, and apples. The dressing was also not too overpowering. The pizza was delicious and the server was attentive. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
(4)Juan G.
Great pizza, lovely ingredients in a very relaxed environment. Good use of truffle oil makes specials more special. Had a cavalli pizza with speck and could not find a flaw. Meh service, not enthusiastic about it, and a confusing Hawaiian pineapple-less pizza with corn that's really good but explained to us by a waiter who was not selling it. Will come back for sure! Pizza matters more and carry out is available...
(5)Stacy P.
Love this place. Always get the pasta bolognese and it always hits the spot. Everything comes out quick! Music is great too- chill and young. The atmosphere overall is just great. Kind/helpful staff.

We originally walked over for some sushi but our place was not open for lunch. We saw this new spot and decided to give it a try. The decor is urban, simple design with plenty tables in the dining area. The menu has specialty pizza's, salads, and panini's, along with some nice appetizers. They offer wine and beer as well. Our server was pleasant and gave us good service. The wine selection is decent with reasonable prices. Trust me order a bottle cause it was early so I ordered a glass and the pour was very skimpy. We started with a meat and cheese appetizer. It arrived on a wooden board it had proscuitto, mortadella, and salami with Parmesan cheese and another cheese. Off to the side was a good size loaf of freshly baked bread. This bread was so delicious! It deserves five stars. The platter of meat and cheese was excellent. My daughter ordered a spinach pizza with white truffle oil and I ordered a proscuitto panini. The pizza was $16, good size for a personal pizza. The ingredients were super fresh. My panini was good except they use the tiny little tomatoes cut in half as I prefer the large tomato slices. Both the panini and pizza were on the same type of bread crust. Very good. I was torn between 3 and 4 stars and I do hope they do well here. They do not offer delivery just yet as they just opened over a week ago. I think their prices are high. Yes the food is good, fresh good quality product but still high prices for the area. This is not Midtown as another reviewer mentioned. Biscayne and 18th. Will I go back, yes. I met one of the owners and he told me he is from Naples. Italian owned and I do wish them the best. Just keep in mind your bill will be higher than your typical pizzaria but you will leave full and happy.

Let me start by saying that pizza after a bike ride (critical mass) was a great idea. After my bike ride I stumble into this little hipster pizza place. The place was clean and the service was awesome. Since this place has unique type of pizzas and appetizers the server was a great help guiding me on what to order. The atmosphere, service and food was perfect. The only thing that I didn't love is that they had a small beer selection
(5)M S.
I gave them one extra star because the crust was a good thickness. That is pretty much it in terms of good stuff to say. The tomato sauce was completely bland, flavorless, and watery. The cheese was meh. The service also needs some work-- coming up to a table and just saying "whaddaya want" does not cut it. Also, when a customer specifically orders xyz to drink, insulting their choice is not super smart. Won't be coming back. Wanted to like it! But just missed the mark by a mile.
(2)George F.
I always come and food quality is always up to standards, excellent quality for the price. Great place to bring friends, they have a deal of 2 entrees and 1 free bottle of vermentino, what else can you ask!#! xD Love the place!!!! and management is always friendly:)
(5)Terry G.
Best pizza and great atmosphere - It's a great place for a great meal that won't break the bank- ask for Sal
(5)Joel R.
I'll make this one short and sweet: I liked the pizza. I would have it again. Service lived up to Miami standards and was terrible. Had to step inside a couple times to move the service forward including initially getting anyone to notice us. On our attempt to pay our bill and go, we walked the bill and credit card inside as the waiter was pre-occupied with facebook on his phone. My 1st two choices for beer of the menu were out of stock. ..and the strangest thing about the place was the italian newspaper wallpaper thing going on in the bathroom, which featured a sizable image of Bin Laden above the toilet. A face of Bin Laden belongs in the toilet, not staring at me while I use the bathroom. At least I liked the pizza.
(3)Maxim P.
Awesome Wine Food and Service!! Nutella Dessert is amazing. The Bread appetizer is great, everything is fresh and made to order. We are going back for sure!
(5)Nici F.
I can only review the pizza here because I haven't eaten anything else. The service is some what slow but they are authentic Italians and you can just enjoy the aromas coming from the wood fire oven. The desserts are fantastic too!
(5)Leilani D.
If you're looking for great neapolitan style pizza, this is the place. My boyfriend had ordered here recently and gotten the Pizza Pazza. I took one bite and WOW. Whatever you do, order this pizza. After that, I came over the past weekend with my best friend to eat in. The restaurant is really cute and cozy inside. They offer a free bottle of wine with the purchase of any two entrees, which we of course took them up on (even though it's just the $3-$4 bottles from Whole Foods, I feel this is a really nice touch). We ordered the Pizza Pazza, the Melanzane App, and the Lasagna. While the Lasagna and the Melanzane were tasty, they suffered from comparison to the Pizza Pazza, which may have been even better than I remembered. I might not order these again, but only because I need more of this pizza in my life. While the pizzas may seem a little pricey ($20 for the Pazza), ours was FULL of shaved black truffles. They're definitely not skimping on the quality of the ingredients and you're getting what you pay for. While we were a bit confused that our app arrived last, it was not big deal because the service by everyone in the restaurant was wonderful. We had 3 or 4 separate people come to our table to make sure we were enjoying our food and having a good time. This kind of attention really adds to the homey feel of the entire place/experience. I don't know that this is the type of food I want to order in again, but a large part of that is because delicious pizza is not all they have to offer. I'll be back in again soon!

Good food but manager would not honor 2nd free wine bottle check in for a group. Yelp check in did not indicate any exclusions. Disappointed for false advertising.

I went to this restaurant for my second date and had an amazing time. The food is amazing and loved loved the Nutella dessert. This is an authentic Italian restaurant from Napoli. Besides the amazing food, the Chef is amazing, he came to our table and really made the night better than it already was going. We loved the Chef!!!! He is the real deal.
(5)Mike S.
Short and sweet like my dinner here. The pizza is pretty good, I'm not sold on the fresh shaved truffles over pizza. I tried a thin sliver and thought, "Is this really what people are raving about and digging through the dirts of France for?! Crust and flavor is still a solid 4.5 star. What really chaffed my thighs was that I asked for a water, never got a water, asked again for water, and then no water. Also, I ordered a glass of wine, and he emptied what was left from one bottle, and definitely NOT a full pour, he then said He'll bring more to finish the pour. Well.....lets just say it was a great half a glass of wine at full price. You can't find those deals just anywhere....so I guess go here? I'd like to slap this restaurant in the face with it's delicious pizza, for being so good yet so bad.

If you are really looking for NY Pizza Pie, this isn't the place. I just moved to the neighborhood & was thrilled to see a place that advertised voted "The Best Pizza in NYC" (2006). To be fair I ordered twice before writing a review. This is NOT NY Pizza or at least not like any I've ever eaten when in NY. I've been to numerous pizza places in Manhattan as well as Long Island & this isn't close. NY is melt in your mouth, soft crust. This is crispy, cracker crust. Newman's Own Thin & Crispy from the grocery store is the same thing. So if it's TRUE NY pizza you're looking for don't order it.
(1)natalie j.
The food was good, but the place could use a new server. Extremely rude server. I would go back if the homely version of Groucho Marx wasn't employed there. Unfortunately, the consensus seems to be the same: Food=good Service= awful

Delivery took 1 hr 45 minutes. I ordered a pizza and a salad for delivery to my warehouse, which is only 2.8 miles from this joint. Driver went to 23rd street, not 23rd Avenue, and drove around in circles for half an hour trying to find me. I even texted him a pin via google maps, which he admitted he did not know how to use. A very unsatisfactory experience. The food probably would have been decent, but it arrived cold. The restaurant offered me 20% off my next order. That is pretty pathetic customer service. How about another delivery on them?

Best Italian Place in Mimi. Just had a amazing experience here with my Girl friend. We came from Dallas Texas, and we were looking for a authentic Italian place around. Im glad we did find Pizza Pazza. Staff very kind and helpful. food amazing. The owner came to our table and introduce us to this awesome wine. Just perfect. Thank you. Highly recommend
(5)Tina T.
Been waiting over an hour for delivery. When inquiring, they say they don't have Brussels Sprout app. So basically they haven't gotten to my order yet. Said very busy. I get it, it's a holiday. But I love across the street.
(2)Ethan J.
Amazing food and excellent service!!! They made us feel like family. The garlic bread is one of kind and the pizza takes you back to Italy. We will definitely be back in our next trip to Miami.
(5)Frank T.
I truly don't get some of the negative reviews posted here. This isn't American Pizza ( Not Dominoes, Little Caesars, Papa John's, etc.) This is as real as it get, same as in Naples Italy. Everything is fresh and organic, and baked in a real brick oven. I've had four extremely positive visits, and will be returning weekly. The Lasagna, Canelloni, Pizza, Vesuvio Appetizer, & the Napoli Calzone have all blown me away! Oh, the home made Tiramisu & Cappuccino are killers... And yes, their friendly and like to talk, their Italian - like me. So to Salvatore, Salvatore, Vito, Max, Michael, Joel, & MARIO, keep it real, I love Pizza Pazza!!!!!!
(5)carla c.
The ambiance is intimate and quaint! Service is slow due to lack if staff but the food is excellent.
(3)Maggie S.
Deliciouso! Very simple, quality, and open late. I vote yes!
(4)Kurtis B.
This was our second time here - the food is as good as anything Joey's serves at a fraction of the price. Casual and unassuming, our servers were attentive and pleasant.
(4)Marcos R.
Love the place! Real Italian pizza and the owner is so cool! I live in opera tower just woke and have dinner almost every day! Totally recommended!
(5)Rebecca S.
They definitely serve this focaccia in heaven. Grazie, Pizza Pazza, for bringing Miami this incredible gift of authentic, delicious, pure Italian food. You will not find better Italian pizza or focaccia OR salads in Miami. So what are you waiting for, andiamo! My husband and I first tried the focaccia with mortadella ($9). We were blown away, it was so perfectly seasoned and cooked. So simple, just the way great Italian food always is. Yes, having a real wood-burning pizza oven makes a real difference, but it's more than that. This is the real deal. The foccacia is crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The mortadella was excellent, very high quality. My husband and I agreed we hadn't tasted mortadella like that since Eataly in NY. We also shared the spinach and strawberry salad ($9). Spinach in general is hit or miss for me, but I already knew they were going to nail it. Perfectly balanced, fresh, cut with the sweet from the strawberries, it was a delicious and healthy salad that perfectly complemented the focaccia. After talking about this place all week, we went back last night. We walked, and I prepped my husband for the perpetual disappointment that is Miami: "It might be closed," I warned him. But, lo and behold, it was still open!! At 11pm! We walked in, and were greeted warmly by the same staff we had seen the other night. The service here is fantastic, every person takes pride in their food and is happy to bring it to you, as they know you have a treat in store. This is a rarity anywhere, but nearly extinct in Miami. We feasted on the delicate Capriciosa Pizza ($14?) with mushrooms, artichokes, and ham. Every bite was perfection. And you know what else? They didn't add too much (if any?) olive oil on either the pizza or the focaccia - they didn't need it, it was already amazing. I've since been back and tried the Barese Pizza ($16), which I'd highly recommend, with San Marzino tomato sauce, fior di latte, arugula, speck, and black pepper. We also tried the Pazza Salad, which is a salad of finely shopped brussel sprouts (very interesting in this form, I think I liked it more than I do in full form), with lemon, baked prosciutto. Oh, and did I mention they have very fair and reasonable prices? And wine? Stop reading this and just go! :)

I'm only updating because the service on my second visit was just blah. I mean, the guy was nice and all, but at some point it seemed that he was more concerned about talking to his coworkers/friends outside than to take care of me and my sister. The food was still good, but not as good as the first time. Plus, and this was a BIG reason we left earlier than we had planned. If you come to our table, we're done with dinner, you ask if we want the check and we say not yet we would like to look at the desserts. Then brings us the menu, don't leave us waiting, and waiting, and waiting, no water refill, nothing else offered. When we finally asked for the check, the guy didn't even remembered we wanted to order a dessert. I don't know what happened, but is like it went from a quirky, cute and quiet place for dinner to another Miami blah restaurant where customers are left feeling like they are a hassle to the staff. They have to shape up or go down the drain like many others in this city.
(2)Michael K.
Worst pizza I can ever remember tasting. If you want to know what cardboard tastes like without the delicious smell of take out, please try their pizza. The free bottle of wine that comes with your meal with order of two entrées is horrible. Also there is no option for white or red. They bring you white. And be ready to wash you hands with gain and eat food prepared by employees whose hands have also not been cleaned with antiseptic soap but, again, gain. The best part of my meal was the can of coca cola that's costs me a few dollars. So we spent 50 dollars to be treated poorly by our waitress that rudely told us that the Hawaiian Pizza doesn't come with pineapple... Who the heck doesnt put pineapple on Hawaiian pizza and substitutes is with corn.... Pizza Pazza... Where pizza is ruined for the masses.
(1)Christina S.
Excellent pizza!!! The dough is perfect- right balance of freshness, texture and taste. The sauce is amazing too, probably the best red sauce I've ever had, and I LOVE red sauce. The restaurant itself is very cute and clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back
(5)Ana S.
Amazing place..with great atmosphere and great pizza.. We love to go there :) THE BEST PIZZA :) AMAZIIIING!!!!!!
(5)Andres E.
What happened to this place ? Pizza used to be AWESOME !! Now the last time I ordered, the dough was like cardboard !! Truly awful!! Hurt my jaw muscles to chew through it ! Too much success too fast ? Hope you guys can get it together again, and change back to your old recipe for the dough (the most overlooked part of a pizza - and the most important).
(2)Igor B.
When I'm in mood for a real tasty italian pizza in the neighborhood I come here. Tonight was one of those nights when I was craving for a good pizza but tonight I had the worst pizza and calzone they ever made. Under cooked and no flavors. I know the owner and when he is there the pizza and the service are outstanding. In iItaly we say (quando il gatto non c'e' i topi ballano) translation (when the cat is not around the rats play). I'm always honest and I will let him know when I'll see him. He makes the difference. I'll go back again for sure BUT when the owner/pizza master is there ;) I'll give them 5 stars anyway.
(5)L C.
I want to give Pizza Pazza 3.5 stars. Good service, nice veggie special pizza with a delicious thin crust... However all Italian restaurants should be a bit more adept at making espresso drinks. My cappuccino was really lacking...foam. Other than that it was great!
(3)Wes S.
The lasagna was excellent. The mozzarella caprese salad was good. Nice little Italian restaurant that I would definitely recommend!
(4)Manu G.
For an Italian pizza, it's alright I guess.. BUT please please change that Nutellino!!! :(((( I was so disappointed!! Nutella + Mascarpone is a great combo but the bread???? No way... If you use a croissant like dough it would have made a 100% difference... that pizza bread doesn't work..
(2)Daniella S.
A few things to keep in mind... I am Italian. My favorite food is pizza. The service was 5 star. The servers are actually Italian and very attentive (as well as attractive) and almost every employee in the restaurant will make an attempt to visit you at your table and make sure you're not having anything less than a great time. The prices are similar to your other Midtown gourmet pizza establishments, (e.g. $15-20 a pie) but as long as you're eating in the restaurant you'll definitely be getting your money's worth. They do offer a free bottle of wine with 2 entrees' which is a nice perk, no matter what kind of wine they're serving (in this case Whole Foods finest), and the tastiest Pizza Pazza ever, do order it before you try anything else on the menu. I also ordered an Eggplant Parmigiana appetizer which was okay as well as the Lasagna but nothing compared to their Pizza Pazza. If you aren't "pazza" about pizza, you probably won't enjoy this place half as much as the rest of the population, but you should be able to appreciate the great customer service that comes along with the meal. And if you're just being cheap about it, then take your $5 to Little Caesar's and call it a night.
(3)Me M.
Some of the freshest ingredients I've ever tasted. The pizza here is real Neapolitan pizza. Friendly staff too.
(5)Keiko B.
Great experience. First came in because we smelled delicious food from our car driving down Biscayne. We're from NJ/NY, and I like to think we have good taste, especially when it comes to Italian. We came in with 4 players from the Miami Heat Wheels ( miamiheatwheels.com ), and needed space accessible for 4 wheelchair users. The staff accommodated us immediately on their outdoor patio (NOTE: It was also Valentine's day, when other restaurants told us it was going to be 1+ hr wait). FOOD: Delicious, authentic Italian pies. Fresh ingredients, great dough. Wood fire oven. Enough said. PRICE: Great value, especially for that area of Edgewater/Midtown. ATMOSPHERE: Warm, friendly, great decor. Totally italian. The owner Salvatore came out at talked with us, and took pictures with the athletes from the Miami Heat Wheels. Nutella pizza for desert. Sold. We'll be going back for sure. Thanks very much!
(5)Michelle L.
If I could rate this a zero star review I would. Placed an online order for delivery, after 50 minutes had passed the delivery service eat24 called to let us know that Pizza Pazza had just confirmed our order. Another hour following our pizza was delivered, underdone with watery sauce and low quality ingredients. The worst pizza experience I've had in Miami. Strongly recommend against this restaurant. This is our first and last experience with Pizza Pazza.
(1)Alex B.
We had a great food experience today. The meals and dessert Excellent and our server was polite and pleasant. The service was a little bit slow but I guess good food takes time to be created...
(5)Michael G.
Amazing pizza! Reminded my wife and I of Naples, Italy Pizza! Fresh ingredients! Definitely coming back!
(5)Gus L.
I've ordered delivery from Pizza Pazza a few times now and really enjoyed it each time. The pizza is authentic Italian style. Their dough is excellent - slightly crispy and chewy but not too thick. You can tell they use a high temperature oven instead of a regular commercial oven. The ingredients are gourmet quality and you can tell. Salads are a go also - fresh and ample size. I ordered the Pazza Panini (Rapini (Brocoli), fior di latte and italian sausage) today and it was huge! Not at all like most paninis one would see around town. They use their fresh dough and bake it in the oven so its more along the line of a calzone in my opinion. It was delicious - would order again. They take about an hour to deliver to Wynwood at peak times but thats because they are busy with customers. Happy with this place :)
(4)January B.
Best pizza I've had !!! First time I tried truffle pizza ; I highly recommend it ..... AMAZING !!! Wonderful service , very friendly and efficient. Im defiantly going back .
(5)Cynthia A.
This has to be the best pizza in town. I recommend the barese! Very fresh and tasty! The service is friendly and prompt. If you're in the mood for traditional, the margherita is delicious as we'll. You can taste the freshness in the ingredients. This place is a "must try"
(5)Freya Z.
Ok so I'm updating my review from 5 to 4 stars. Still good quality ingredients but the service is not 5 star. I had a couple issues with delivery and an issue with service while dining in. This is definitely the best pizza in the neighborhood and is a top competitor of Pieducks in Brickell. Until I tried this pizza, Pieducks was definitely my favorite pizza in Miami. I've only eaten at Pazza once, but from what I know so far, it's a top contender. I had the truffle mushroom pizza and it was to die for! So delicious. The crust is soft just the way I like it. It's not thick and not super thin either. I like thicker crust pizza, but this seems more Italian-like, so I can easily accept this. My husband ordered a salami and mushroom pizza, although they eggplant on it instead of mushroom but it was still good since we like eggplant. First time I've ever had eggplant on a pizza. It wasn't as good as mushroom would have been, but the quality was still there. This place uses quality ingredients and that is very important. And they also deliver!!!! woo hoo!! I'm so glad this place is in the neighborhood!!
(4)David H.
Here at Hilton for a pre cruise night. Pizza was amazing. Fun atmosphere and outstanding prices. Pizza had arugula that fancy ham that I can't spell....prajutta, fresh mozzarella and some shaved parm. Wine was good and would definitely come back. Great dinner.
(5)Ricardo G.
Dining at the restaurant for the first time after a coupon I got online, the pizza was good (not great), came in fast, hot and fresh. However, as said below, the service was poor, not inefficient, just unfriendly and unwelcoming. Don't know if I will give it another shot though considering there are other good pizza places in the vicinity, with better atmosphere, better taste and price.
(3)Milica P.
True artisanal pizza. Dough that is prepared and sits for 72 hours. Yummy thin crust. And a very agreeable price. Full wine bar. NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!
(5)Karim N.
I have been coming here since they opened, and they have never failed me, if you want authentic italian pizza this is the place, if you want otherwise order in from papa johns. My son loves the nutela pizza and I do as well and if you get the chance try the stuffed gnocchi. The staff is friendly and salvatore knows his pizza. So if you want good pizza and a good desert come try this place.
(5)Juan R.
Horrible service, we order one pizza with four beers. First, they delivered 1 beer and had to come back with the other three beers. Then, we open the box to find out that it was the wrong pizza which they refused to replace with the correct order. It is not worth the headache....ughh
(1)Chris M.
One of my favorite vacations was visiting Rome and Naples. Every time I eat here I feel like I am back there. Of course without the 10 hour plane ride. The atmosphere is great and food here is very authentic. Definitely one of my favorite spots to eat, you always feel like you are around family.
(5)Monica L.
We love visiting Pizza Pazza. All of the servers are friendly and attentive. The pizza is amazing and my favorite dish is the eggplant parmigiana. The nutellino is a must have for dessert... It's like fireworks in your mouth!!
(5)katia B.
This is the fourth time i been here and i love it, the look of the restaurant is super cool, even the bathroom is nice, the servers are italians and there super nice! And as for the food is great, i love the appetizers and the pizza( is so crunchy and with alot of flavor) my kids love the nutella pizza for dessert!!
(5)Karen J.
Amazing, authentic pizza with the freshest ingredients. Gourmet apps round out the menu. Italian waiters, owners. Free bottle of wine with 2 pizzas special made it even better!
(5)Claire C.
Ridiculously yummy and authentic.
(5)Kostia B.
Nothing less than amazing. Our friend Thomas took us to try a little piece of Italy. This place was perfect, owner Salvadore was very attentive, empathetic and a great host. Service was fast and everything else you could ask for. The truffle pizza was delicious, the Ravioli's with added white truffle was unbelievable! The wine was smooth and great and definitely recommend to try the lemoncello cream (made in house.) Thank you guys for an incredible night.
(5)Gabrielle D.
Ordered last week and, by FAR, the worst delivery service and worst pizza in the area. Don't do it- so many good alternative options. Really horrible food, which after all IS the point of ordering delivery.
(1)Roberto N.
I placed a delivery order last Sunday after reading some great reviews and after driven by it a few times, being close to where I live. We ordered a lasagna and the bread with Mortadella (Focaccina) appetizer. The delivery took an hour, food was cold when we got it, and we live close to the restaurant. No that big of a deal, but not a good start either. The $15 lasagna lacked a little flavor and the size reminded me of a T.V. dinner plate. The appetizer was good, nothing out of this world, perhaps a fresh plate right out of the oven would've justified its price. The food was ok, but I felt a bit over-priced for the quality and quantity that I got, especially the lasagna. I guess next time I'll stick to the better-reviewed pizzas. Just a thought for anyone considering a non-pizza item from the menu for delivery.
(3)Tori L.
Wow! Great, great pizza. We ordered a pizza with arugula and speck (a type of ham/prosciutto) and it was remarkable. The ingredients were so fresh and the flavor combos were perfect. The cheese was soft and fluffy and married well to the salt and zing of the toppings. The thin crust was the right combo of firm and chewy. It was like having pizza in Europe again. I will also say that the service here was interesting. I have rarely seen a staff try so hard. They are a little uncoordinated just now (recently opened) but please be patient. They are all smiles and pride when the food arrives and it will be worth any wait or confusion (our waiter and busboy were both Italian). Go now and go early before their dinner rush overwhelms their small and talented kitchen. They also do take out!
(5)Randall D.
I just moved to this neighborhood from Brickell and was doing a little exploring. Great place on Biscayne next door to the bike shop (The scoot, Skate and Bike Co). Very NYC/Soho feel to the interior/decor. Service was good and food was great. I has the (I think it's called) spinach and prosciutto pizza. Size is big enough for 2 people at about $15. I thought it could have used a little more sauce on it though. But all in all, a great place which you should definitely visit. The shops in that strip have private free parking in the back of the building, across the street which is very convenient. Go check it out, you will not be disappointment. I don't think they have a website as yet.
(4)Arianna L.
A pizzeria slap! The atmosphere is beautiful, pizza, inexplicably fantastic and the service great and fast! All right!
(5)T. B.
The other reviews are right, the pizza here is good - when they get it right. Unfortunately they don't get it right too often. Almost every time I order from here, something goes wrong. The pizza is either burned to death, or it's cold and dry, or it has the wrong toppings. You really have to get lucky with the toppings when you order from these guys. The service at the restaurant is also subpar. Too bad, because the place has a lot of potential.
(2)Joe C.
Came here to enjoy an appetizer but was rushed by the waiter to pick something off the menu after numerous times telling him one minute please, once the food was given we weren't checked on to see if the food was good cause we wanted to change it vs throwing half it away. Lastly charging us gratuity when he would have gotten a better tip with the bill left alone.
(1)B Lauren S.
I love this place! It's a slice of Italy downtown Miami. I've been a few times since they've opened, and each time has been great. Although, last night, I must say, the service has improved since my previous times, our server was awesome..which is rare to find it Miami.. My first time here, my hubby and I had a couple of glasses of wine, and an appetizer plate for two. The vesuvia? I think.. Anyways, mixed cheeses and meats, with fresh warm bread, it was to die for.. reasonably priced, and a great portion... Last night, we started off with two glasses of wine, the same appetizer, a salad, and a pizza. I think we had the Milan? Carmelized onions, different cheeses.. The pazza salad was great... From presentation to flavor, to service, everything was fantastic!! This is definitely a new local spot for me!! Hidden gem in the middle of downtown! Oh and parking is provided in the lot behind the building!

Trusted Yelp to help pick a pizza place while visiting. Gourmet pizza looked interesting from the website. Easy to order from, picked the four cheese. Friend wanted added pepperoni, (2$ extra!) HOWEVER, the pizza took over 90 minutes to arrive on a Sunday night, cold on arrival. Cheeses were half scattered and not entirely together. (I understand with gourmet pizza YMMV with cheese-meltiness, but this was not good.) Dough was chewy and a little soggy (undercooked v cold?) Pretty much inedible in its current state. If we had been at a table we'd have sent it back. (Although, wine while waiting may have helped temper the wait). Pepperoni charged for but also NOT ON PIZZA. Called the restaurant to complain, would have liked money back, but they did offer to send another (hopefully hot) pizza. Was not interested. Will not order again. I always feel bad giving one star reviews, but since I trusted Yelp to find me the pizza...
(1)Brad H.
Had two different pizzas delivered from here yesterday am and I must say they were both outstanding. Hard to believe a pizza so basic as the margherita can have so many different flavors. The crust is perfect and and Parma was delicious as well. The sweet cherry tomatoes were bursting with flavor and was a nice touch. Pizzas were delivered in about 30 minutes.... Another reason for the 5 stars. Harry's....you might not be the best pizza place in town anymore!!!
(5)Mark I.
They've got their own style of doing pizza. Very Italian not quite American pizza but I think that's what they're going for. The pizzas are a bit pricey but for the most part very good. Ingredients they use are always good quality. For the area definitely the best pizzeria.
(4)Alexandre F.
Best pizza in miami. The parma and the one with the black truffle. Excellent. Super friendly. Will go back
(5)Maurizio R.
I am italian 100% and this is the only place where you can eat incredible home made italian food, the quality of the ingredients , the mozzarella and the tomato sauces reminds me the one from my neapolitan mother and grandmothers. the service is superfriendly and open. The maestry and the passion that chef Salvatore puts in his work is in every bite you take. This guy loves what he does. The pizzas are spectacular especially the Bari and the Truffle one , but the Margherita is to die for. Me and my wife dont go to any other place since Pizza Pazza is open. Try to believe. This place is FRESH in every aspect.
(5)Brian L.
The place has slipped. Ordered online and asked for extra tomatoes and mozzarella on a margehrita pie. What arrived was a saucy red mess - no tomatoes, and no mozzarella anywhere on the pie. It tasted terrible, and it was overpriced. When I called they told me "Tomatoes" on their extra topping menu means "tomato sauce." Oh, really? And I guess when you select extra "Mozzarella" that means they put none - forget about "extra" . Worst pizza ever. Won't order again.
(1)Anne C.
Still as good as before, this time I did a To Go order and it was ready in no time. I tried to check in while I was there but couldn't connect to Yelp.
(5)Zhenya S.
I am officially in love with this place. It's my third time here in a row. It is so hard to find that kind of quality anywhere on this strip of Biscayne. As soon as you walk in, it is so warming and welcoming, you feel like you are in Italy right away. The music, pictures on the wall, the design and even the tableware. The staff is all Italian, of course, the chefs as well. I ve had so far of course the Pazza (omg, must try, with truffle oil and shaved black truffle, unless you wanna go for white ones, get Alba), cartoccio, which is similar, Brussels sprouts, Venezia, Pugliese. Everything was great, nice, thin crust, super tender inside. Ask for some bread, it takes a little bit, since it is fresh made, but this is just an example, to compare to the frozen bread you get everywhere else. For desert, if you are by your self, get the nutellino, but if its more people, share the pizza Nutella and don't forget to lick the cutlery (eww) :) Definitely recommend to try and trust me, you will become regular there :) I also was told today about some promotion of a free bottle of wine for dinner they do, i think you will have to get two pizzas, or something like that, which is also very nice :)
(5)Joey G.
Me being an Italian New Yorker, I know what good pizza is. I'm always hesitant to eat pizza outside of New York or Italy for that matter. Came here on a Saturday evening. Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. Especially Wayne. This place is new, modern and clean. Most importantly the pizza was excellent! A crusty, tasty thin crust just the way I like it! You can tell the ingredients were imported and was just delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a legit Italian pizza place.
(5)Anna M.
Great restaurant! Service was friendly and food came out quickly. They even brought us a free sampler of "speck" (smoked prosciutto) because we were curious about it. Glad to have another great restaurant in my neighborhood!
(5)Michael M.
This place opened up across the street from us recently... We stumbled upon this Italian joint when we were leaving the sushi spot next door. We opted to check in and take advantage of their generous check in offer of a FREE BOTTLE OF WINE when buying 2 entrees... We opted for the tortalini special and the Barese pizza. Before I get to the food... I can honestly say that this place has a great feel to it.. Super comfortable ambiance and the staff is WOW! Everyone was really almost overly friendly, helpful and smiling the whole time. It was such a breath of fresh air compared to 95% of eating establishment in the area, we love it and just for that we will return again. Now, onto the food... The special tortalini was interesting.. The pasta itself was huge, almost like a big ravioli but in a tortalini shape, stuffed with spinach ragotta cheese in a pink sauce. The dish was good, could have been great but the pasta itself was a little under cooked. The pizza we ordered was definitely not what you typically see around Miami which I loved. The dough was soft and crunchy at the same time topped with tomato sauce, plump cherry tomato's, arugula and a soft white cheese called borata (I think). The only downfall to this pizza was the "speck"(prechuetto).. I feel that if it was sliced paper thin, it would have been perfect. Maybe that's the Italian way, but I had to take it off the pizza as I devoured the rest of it. As I stated earlier, we will return regardless and explore more of the menu. Great spot! Good prices! Amazing staff! Awesome atmosphere!
(5)Christian D.
This place is the real deal! Salvatore is the pizza force to be reckoned with. He was the pizza man behind Fratelli la Bufala back when it was good. You will not regret eating here... The pizza is that good! Don't look at the price, you're paying for quality ingredients, and years of pizza making experience... Forza Napoli
(5)Karen K.
Excellent! Awesome! Pizza is just like in Napoli! Lasagna was Devine! Price was right! We'll be back!
(5)Alex C.
Very cool little spot that I found. When first arriving was greeted by everyone so right away I felt at home. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone, not the best location but amazing environment and staff.
(5)Luis M.
$28 for two 13" pies, delivered. Way too much, lucky for them Sir Pizza seems to be closed.
(2)Tim D.
I've ordered twice from here and been very disappointed both times. Liquidy cheese, tasteless crust, and bland lasagna. Never again.
