What's a Spanish bakery without a cortadito or colada ??? They are not allowed to sell cuban coffee , only American coffee because of some regulation made up by Starbucks in the same shopping center , Well Def not coming back here again, they need to relocate

First the ratchet lady who was on her phone didn't want to pay attention to us take their order only asks seven times after we set our order what our order was. Then the chicken philly with no cheese ... Sent that back got it back still wrong . It didn't taste bad. Just wrong . And at 1 in the morning you really don't have that many options

W. T. F. Cuban bakery and no Cuban coffee, whatsoever. I am completely shocked that that they can not serve coffee because of the Starbucks in the same shopping center! It's actually infuriating. I went out of my way to stop here this morning and had to settle for a lackluster hot chocolate because the only other option was American coffee. Despicable.

The customer service at their new location in cutler bay sucks . Very unprofessional and they don't care about customers went there twice already just to give them another try and same thing Also the first time they overcharged me and didn't want to return the money they were pick something else. I like ur Pastries but PLEASE fix customer service ASAP

I'm not much of a coffee drinker, so I don't care about the coffee situation here. I come here for their delicious breakfast sandwiches. The pan con tortilla with mayo, ham, cheese and onions is to die for. It's served on a huge slab of fresh Cuban bread and is large enough for 2! They also put out samples of various cakes for you to try. Those are also awesome! This little bakery offers up some great pastries and sandwiches, and the girls that work there are pleasant! I know at least one of them speaks English as she served me this am!

I can't believe this place recently opened their doors and aren't trying harder not to match the reviews to their other stores! Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and I got a Cuban bread the size of my forearm length with no grill chicken on one half. Really? Yes really!!!

Dear Manager, Why do you have a number ticket system for service only to force your customers to make a ridiculous line outside your store because your staff isn't taking numbers? Please take the time to educate your staff that the numbering system is not a decorative piece in your store, it is a functional item designed to create order and keep your customers inside your empty spacious location while they wait for their turn. Thank you, L

Went there this morning to get bread and it was impossible to get service. Returned this afternoon for a coffee and snack and the place was super dirty. Food and Trash on the floor!

Food was good. The pan con bistec for $5 is a great deal, along with slew of other options. They didnt have any water like most bakeries. Overall, it is better than most bakery with a wide selection.

Rude employees that can't speak English and if you try to help speaking Spanish are even more rude. Horrible customer service never coming back since the employees called me miss dulce de leche bcuz I tried to explain what my husband and I wanted. Ridiculous!

Very annoyed that SoMi location cannot serve Cuban coffee, cafe con leche or cortaditos due to feud with landlord and Starbucks. Whoever heard of not being able to sell this stuff at a Cuban bakery?!? Owner better resolve this ASAP or they will loose business.

I would have given a higher review but they no longer serve any milk based coffees? No cortaditos, cafe con leche, colada or any espresso drinks. They only have drip coffee. I was told by one of the employees that it is because of trouble with Starbucks. The Starbucks has been in operation in that same parking lot for years, way before the pinecrest bakery opened up. It sounds like this place did not do their research before opening their doors. The bakery items are delicious! I just wish I had a cortadito or a cappuccino to go with them. I will say I have had the sandwiches a couple of times now and although it may be authentic the bread that comes with the Cuban sandwich is kind of bland and stale. The breakfast items are very good, fries, eggs and meat and very well prepared for a low price. Finally I will say that my lack of Spanish speaking skills (I live in Miami and I realize I need to improve) have kept me from being able to get my breakfast order just right. My breakfast order is almost always a little off due to a miscommunication. Then again, my English may be the problem ;) the folks here are nice and sincerely try. I hope they can work out the issues with the coffee. The value and location are good but no espresso and no milky coffees at a bakery just will not work.

Wow, why such bad reviews? Maybe I missed something but I had a great experience here, better than the one around 120th and US1. I went for breakfast with my boyfriend and we ordered a pineapple juice, cafe con leche, and two croissant sandwiches. Service was excellent, the place small but doable, and the food was great. I saw plenty people drinking their coffee, and their menu said cortadito, colada, or cafe con leche. So I'm not sure what the issue is here. My first time at this location and I'll be back.

If you're a fan of Pinecrest Bakeries, do yourself a favor and go to another one. I live just down the street from the South Miami location and was ecstatic when I heard they were opening. What a let down. THEY DON'T SERVE CUBAN COFFEE. Seriously. This is a Cuban bakery in Miami with no Cuban coffee. The neon sign on the window literally has an espresso cup on it but there are none to be found inside the actual bakery. The reason they can't serve espresso of any kind is because Starbucks (located in the same strip mall) has a clause in their contract which gives them complete exclusivity on it. PCB should have just packed up their bags as soon as they found that one out. Hadn't been to the location in a while and I wanted to give it another shot. I was having a get together at my house and wanted to pick up a few of those party platters (the ones with the finger-sized pastelitos, croquetas, arepas, etc.) that are readily available at both of the other PCBs I have been to. Not here, though. I asked where their platters were and the woman behind the counter looked at me as if I were speaking Mandarin. She told me with an attitude that I needed to call ahead about an hour or so for them to put one together. I had nothing to say at that point, I just walked out. Done with this place.

It is no big deal if they don't have Cuban coffee. They have very good deserts and other items to choose from. I got a slice of flan and rum chocolate cake that is to die for. If u want coffee go to the Starbucks which is located in the same mall but go to the bakery for ur food it tastes better and it is fresher than having stail bagel at Starbucks

When I first heard of this place I was obsessed. I'm a huge Cuban food addict and a night owl so 24 hour bakery sounds amazing to me. I fell in love with their food and pastries and always went there late at night. Recently however, the service has been so rude. I went in one time after work around 1:30-2 and they had absolutely nothing and the ladies were so distasteful. I asked in English what they had and they just looked at me with an empty expression. So I got my friend to ask in Spanish for me and the lady gives a rude "I don't know, what's on the menu" in Spanish and walked away.(Mind you I was also very disgusted at how that one particular lady kept wiping her nose with her hand around the food) My friend and I were in awe. I immediately lost my appetite and just asked for an expresso and the lady nodded her head and made me wait almost half an hour before I realized she wasn't going to make it. I couldn't help but laugh. Why is this 24 hours if you can't have the food 24 hours? I went back recently thinking maybe that was just bc it was late and a busy night (wishful thinking) but no. Again they were out of everything and didn't even care to listen to what else we may have wanted. We had to ask a couple times before she acknowledged us and there was not even a line. The ladies there are just rude and have absolutely no customer service knowledge. It's a shame. Now I have to drive to the pinecrest bakery on 40th street which is much further but it's a small price to pay for their excellent customer service and actually always having food like they should. And when they don't have it out they always offer to fry me a fresh one. Whoever manages the pinecrest bakery on 40th street did an excellent job on hiring and managing. I wish I could say the same for this one. Definitely won't be back.

Place has horrible customer service. Has gotten my order wrong 3 different times. Today placed an order online and paid online they had 45 minutes to prepare it. When I got there it wasn't prepared and when they finally made it they made it wrong ... ordered a sunshine wrap which should be made with sausage egg and cheese they wrapped egg only but I had to take it because I was already late for work because of waiting. Will not be returning to this location ever .... I hope management can hire competent people in the future for the benefit of their business.
