Great Food!!! Just Horrible wait times & lines. Waited over an hour on a slow Friday night to get my take out meal.

Order at the door confused me, i thought they would give us a physical menu. Decor was lacking, the floor was annoying red it was xool for a bit but then just turned me off. Fountain drinks. I had the peanut noodle bowl and id give it a 5 but the ambiance was lacking in my opinion.

Slowest service Ever but pretty terrific food. I'd go here again if I could find a place to park, that's another downside...

The food was amazing until one day I order a chicken teriyaki and they put SHRIMP IN MY CHICKEN!! I can't explain the hate I have towards shrimp let alone mixed in with my chicken.. #Disappointed

I have been to Pei Wei twice in the past couple of months. Both times were equally disappointing. Though the small meal is about $8 and it is filling, I just don't think it is worth it. First, I got the steak pad thai which I really tried hard to like - it just tasted off. The noodles were soggy and the steak didn't taste right. Then I thought I would give this place a second try, so I ordered the kung pao steak with fried rice. I realized why I do not like the food - the meat is really really tough. The taste of the steak reminds me of when I lived in Gainesville, ordered orange chicken from Panda Express, and thought I was being poisoned. I mean, I guess everything BUT the steak tasted ok. I think if I were to go here again, I would order 3 pork spring rolls and call it a day. This place can get super packed during lunch! As a side note, a little baby threw her mom's phone at our table which was pretty funny to see the mom get all frantic.

3.5 stars here because this place is yin and yang when it comes to service-- a doubled edged sword. The online ordering system is extremely convenient. You just set up an online account, and you can choose which meals to order online, together with listing the options If you want to add or remove ingredients, what time you want to pick up your food, and it also stores your list of favorites. Completely convenient! However, when you get there, you see the parking and your first thought may be, "Where do I park?". Parking is limited, and with the opening of the Chipotle next there, you may be battling for parking in the middle of these two food hotspots. It is probably better to sit and wait. For lunch, I ordered the kung pao chicken with extra spice. It was delicious, but if you want the extra spice, mix your food together. All the spice sinks to the bottom of the dish. Also, the brown rice is considered dry and tasteless by some. Good but could be better. And the adventure continues...

First time here and love it! What a great place to eat! All the gourmet favorites from China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and Thailand. Had the Mandarin Kung Pao & crab wontons. Definitely coming back.

I'm glad they finally have a Pei Wei in Coral Way. I hate driving 20+ minutes just to eat, although Pei Wei is worth the drive, it's nice to have them close. I first tried Pei Wei in AZ. In my hometown. I missed it, after moving to SC.

It was okay. Spent almost $40 and wish I would have gone to Bangkok Bangkok instead. The parking is not so great. One way in and one way out. Not enough parking for the two eateries, Pei Wei and Chipotle. When we walked in the atmosphere looked better than expected for a fast food place. The one person at the counter, yes, just one with at least 8 people in line, was frazzled and wasn't really sure about the menu. I did like the condiments counter where you could serve your own drink, get your flatware, or chopsticks and even had a good supply of the Chinese take out boxes. I don't think I would recommend or go back to this place when there are so many other places in the Gables (Bangkok, Bangkok) with much better food for the money. Even Bangkok City on Bird Road has better food for the money.

Excellent place to grab a quick Chinese lunch. There's really nowhere like it in the Gables or surrounding areas. And because it's a PF Chang's offshoot you get quality food but at a low price. You order food at the counter, but waiters bring it your table. They have lunch specials starting around $7 that come with Asian slaw, wonton soup, or spring roll. Also, they give you the choice of white or brown rice which is a plus. I ate Mongolian chicken and shrimp and the wonton soup. The chicken/shrimp were mixed in a savory sauce with sauteed scallions. The soup had a minty flavor and delicate meat-filled wontons. They also have one of those fancy soda machines which is touchscreen and has like 50 different varieties. Very cool. Anyway, great food at low prices. Check it out!

Really good. It is the same owners as PF Chang's. you get their menu at half the price. I love this place. I usually get the honey seared chicken. You can eat well for $9 here and they are open later than most healthy-inexpensive places.

Third visit to the Coral Way location. The first was awful but they had just opened so it was ok. The next two times proved that the kitchen had improved, but yoi know, its just something. The sauces are either too sweet or too salty and nothing is spicy at all. My humble opinion, the kung pow chicken is the only dish worth a revisit.

So excited to have this pei wei in my neighborhood! In addition to great food with consistent quality, the staff at this location is really really really pleasant! Good customer service is very hard to find in Miami, and this location is the exception to the rule!

I haven't written a review in a while, but after my experience here I think this deserves one. Ok fine I'll give it two... Nah, I changed my mind just 1. Well to start off the waitress had a titty attack because I was saving seats for my party of 7 while most were in line and one was paying. She came up to me and told me that she had a party of 7 and that the tables were first come first serve by the manner in which you are standing in line. At the moment I was thinking, "Party of 7? What a coincidence, I'm in a party of 7" and therefore I told her I grabbed the seats first- I came first- I didn't understand... Then she said, sorry you have to get up because you can't save seats, at that moment my co-worker gestured that I was in said party of 7 and I looked at her and said I am with that party of 7. She was like well for next time you can't save seats, and she went on and on... I told her there wouldn't be a next time and then she went on and on again about how you cannot save seats. I heard you lady. I got it, don't worry I won't be coming back... Not only for that reason, but because I also found a HAIR in my food. Yup, maybe she sabotaged my dish, because what luck that the hairy dish came to the smack talking girl... Anyways, I returned it to the other waitress, who very embarrassed and apologetically replaced my dish. My food sans hair was just ok. Anyways, although this place was clean (minus the hair), the other waitress was nice and apologetic, and the food was ok, I'm giving it 1 star. Aside from the issues already mentioned, the wait to pay and the delivery of my food was just too slow. I will never go back, I'll just stick to it's fancier older brother, Mr. P.F. Chang. Lil Pei Wei, you my friend- are dead to me.

First I need to preface that I find PF Changs (full service version) to be expensive and rather average in terms of Chinese food. However, Pei Wei offers great food with excellent portions, at an affordable price. The Mongolian Beef Combo is delicious and filling and I love that you can pretty much mix and match anything you'd like. I come here a few times a week and appreciate the variety. The staff here is fantastic and very friendly and the place is kept really clean. If you are looking for fast Asian food with large portions, this is the best.

My go to Chinese spot. I love this place. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I love the casual atmosphere of ordering when you walk in. The food is always fresh and hot. Most importantly- kid friendly. They always give my daughter chop sticks to attempt to eat with. love the Mongolian anything and noodles are superb.

The food tasted amazing, but the reason I'm giving one star is because I got sick from the food. I got home no more than 20 minutes later and realized I had food poisoning. The chicken was undercooked. Even though it tasted wonderful, it did not settle in the best way.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
