Absolutely love the pizza here. The bacon, sausage and onion is to die for. The crust is great and the pizza is always perfectly cooked.

With my name being Italian, I consider myself a pizza expert. (Never mind the flawed logic there....) Thin, crispy, light, hand tossed crusts are their specialty. Homemade sauce, sliced (not shredded) mozzarella, fresh toppings, and a bona-fide, gas fired brick oven all combine to bring you one of the best pizzas in West Tami-Kendall. I usually do carry out because delivery times can be a tad long. If you're looking for a quick slice, they have a daily special of two slices and a drink for under $6.00 - can't really beat that. Now remember, these crusts are traditionally thin, so easy on the toppings. Otherwise, you'll get a wibbly-wobbly slice that may end up on your lap. Besides, as a any true pizza aficionado knows, anything more than cheese and one other topping on a thin crust is overload. Are you hungry yet? Old World Pizza has an internet thingamabob here oldworldpizzamiami.com - Feel free to browse...

I love thin crust pizza, decided to give this place a try. Ordered a cheese "medium" and a pepperoni "medium" since there was a special of 2x $20. I looked at the sample sizes they have laid out since my family wasn't too hungry, but the "large" looked like a medium, so that was not going to work. Ended up getting two "mediums". We ate those and were satisfied, but these pizzas are definitely very small for their prize. Taste was ok. It could have been cooked a while longer for crispy ness. Overall, I will not be ordering for family from here, but for a quick lunch, they have good special. Service: The guy taking orders explained the menu well and was polite. Place looked clean and had a nice casual atmosphere. Side note: Not sure if it's because of the time I visited (about 8pm) but the pizzas kept on the stand upon arrival did not look appetizing. Not sure if those are ones left over from lunch special or what.

I just ordered from this place tonight for dinner and what a waste of money... The subs are not subs but made on panini bread which tastes like it was stale. I ordered a meatball sub it taste like dog food! My daughter ordered a Italian sub the pepperoni still had the casing on it so when you tried to bite the panini literally the string was hanging from her mouth. Then I called to tell them I wanted to talk to the Manager who's name is Hymie! Basically he told me we'll that's how it comes just like that, I asked him what meat has strings on it from the casing and his reply "that's how it comes" Hymie a man of many words!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY.

I love pizza but this one required a bit more chewing... It wasn't hard it was just not as soft I guess. The flavor was alright, just something I wouldn't crave again. I also ordered there "garlic bread" which is pizza dough with garlic bread ingredients pretty much - it was in a pie shape. I give it 4 stars because the customer service was good and the pizza wasn't awful, but not a pizza I prefer.

  • Gina C.

Great pizza, taste and presentation. I ordered delivery and it was here in the time they said it would be. Delivery guy was polite. I ordered an XLarge and it was enough for 4 (2 slices per person).

Let's dissect the actual pizza. The crust is simple. Not to thin, but not thick either. Let's just call it the magical in between. Sauce- although there was a lot of sauce on the pizza, it still felt light and olive oil-y. I am not a big fan of too much sauce, but this one complimented the dough really well, so I didn't complain. Cheese- instead of your usual grated cheese, they put slices on the pizza. A lot of places do this so you feel like your pizza isn't cheesy enough but this was definitely not the case. REALLY REALLY good and gooey! Garlic bread- it is actually a pizza (think focaccia). not bad but also not something I would order again. Although the pizza is "ready to warm" when you get there, it still tasted super fresh. The counter service is good, although you will often have to wait for them to answer the phone and take orders before placing yours. They have a constant stream of people, generous portions, great pricing and a cool ambiance, which validates its stellar ratings on Yelp. Definitely a place to try!

Pizza was thin with a crispy crust. Delicious! They have a special ~ 2 slices with a fountain drink for $5.50. What a deal! Coming back for sure!

I absolutely love this place! On my first visit here I tried the two slice and a soda special. My philosophy on trying out a pizza is that a slice usually sucks and is rarely indicative of what the pizza is like. Most places cheap out by having premade cheese slices and they just add a topping and reheat. Not this place, they actually have pizzas with pepperoni or specialty pies pre made waiting for you. I didn't get a chance to eat the slices until that night, I wasn't expecting much. But it was freaking amazing! So this pizza defied all my expectations, it was by the slice, reheated, then cold and it was awesome. I had to come back. Next visit I had it fresh and became hooked. I finally found a place that stand up to Steve's (the real real on biscayne not the pretender). We met the owner that day and he was really a great guy, really takes pride in his trade. They use slices of pizza instead of shredded, the oven runs over 900 degrees and leaves those leap off spots under the crust. And the small pepperoni cups up perfectly. I just wish it was closer to home so I could go more often. Love this place hope it continues to do well because it is the best pizza in town.

Can't believe it took me this long to find this lil gem. Pizza is pretty yummy. Thin and cheesy. They also have salads but I haven't tried them. They have a good special for $5.50, 2 slices and a fountain drink. It is In same shopping center as Goin Bananas (awesome place for kids) and Menchies (yummy froyo). They have outside sitting. Delivery. Will def be back.

  • Danny M.

Really like their pizza, nice thin crust with quality ingredients. Nice $5.50 two slice and drink special thats not just limited to cheese slices. Limited seating but definitely worth getting the takeout. Really good pizza!

  • Cynthia L.

The best pizza on my side of town, maybe best pizza in Miami. All the ingredients are always super fresh. The pizza is never overly greasy and everything I've tried is delicious.

    (5)
  • Adri M.

Don't you hate that bloated sick feeling you get after eating pizza? It's a love/hate relationship. I love pizza but I hate feeling like sh*t the day after. This pizza is the solution for that. The ingredients are very fresh and delicious every time and the customer service is excellent.

    (5)
  • Maria M.

I really love this place, very cheap for great quality pizza. I do enjoy it more than Steve Pizza and I do think it has a better price range. Love the fact that they use olive oil for their pizzas it does change the taste and makes it a healthier/lighter of a choice. !

  • Jocey R.

Best Pizza I have ever had in Miami! Place only has 2 large picnic tables inside and about 2 tables outside...that's it! Not quite the place to eat in but the 2 large walls on either side of the counter are floor to ceiling chalkboard. Great way to keep entertained while you wait for your order. The pizzas are made to order, thin crust and cooked in a brick oven. So far I've had extra cheese, Pesto and Pepperoni pizza. All 3 were delicious. For dessert, i've had Tiramisu and s'mores pizza. The Tiramisu was good, nice and moist. The s'mores pizza is extremely chewy but very tasty and not too sweet. Delivery is quick and they have an eat in special for 2 slices and a soda for $5.50.

    (5)
  • Tracy C.

LOVE LOVE LOVE they have a deal of 2 slices + a drink for $5.50+tax great deal, huge slices.

Called three times was placed on hold Finally answer I'm too busy at the front! Gave them a second chance from taking 2 hours to deliver my pizza!

  • Kristin Winkler S.

Excellent NY style pizza. Not much room to eat - two big picnic-style tables and a few outdoor ones, but nicely decorated with chalkboards on the walls for fun. Great spot!

Probably the best pizza in kendall. If you think Casola's is GOOD pizza.....move along....you don't know pizza. OLD WORLD PIZZA is AWESOME. Crust is thin, crisp with a slight chew. Their garlic bread is really just another pizza.....but still good....a bit mild on the garlic. If you're into the oily, super garlic bread rolls...you won't like theirs. The pizza is some of the best I have had ANYWHERE......they are heavy on the toppings, so I wouldn't order more than 3 toppings per pie or it will be soggy. The sizes are a bit small....if you're 3 or more people.....order the Extra Large. It is more of a takeout/delivery place.....since it only has a couple of picnic tables to eat in. Their menu is limited to pizza subs and salads....no lasagna, calamari etc. if you;re looking for dining in and a full menu...Two Brothers, Steve's or Mike's is your best choice....If you're looking for really good thin crust.......go to old world...

  • Mayra R.

I'm not a pizza fan but this place is the best in my book. The ingredients are the freshest in town. Delivery boys are always super nice and friendly and the chef has a great attitude and great service. They got my order wrong once and he said please give me 10 minutes and I'll get you a new pie. He insisted so I waited. 10 minutes later I had my pizza and he gifted me the first one. That's great service!

  • Danny N.

Definitely the best pizza in our part of town. Got those ny crusts and the right amount of greatness to it!!

    (5)
  • Kristen M.

It's a really lowkey place but it has great pizza. they have a 5.50 special for two slices of pizza and a fountain drink. The only thing I don't like is the dollar per refill when the cups aren't even average sized. Other than that, nice spot

    (4)
  • Lester T.

Good pizza!! Try it!! Best NY style pizza in town!

    (4)
  • Matthew S.

The place could really use some music or a tv...but that's like the only thing. Everythjng else was amazing! Including the chalkboard walls. The pizza was very authentic and delicious. YAAAASS!

    (4)
  • Jasmin M.

Really good pizza! Definitely reminded me of New York. It's a small place, nothing fancy at all. But the pizza is the real deal. Delisous.

  • Julie H.

They deliver and the pizza is fresh. We order all the time. We have had several of the pizza toppings but I always order a white pizza and a regular pizza with some topping. The service is quick and the ingredients are top notch.

    (4)
  • Barbara M.

Great authentic pizza. 2 huge slices and a drink is $5. The canoli was probably one of the best ive ever had. The only thing I noticed was that there was no music and it was really quiet. The walls have chalkboard paint so you can draw on them which I thought was cute.

  • Glenda C.

This pizza is ok. I've had it a couple of times and sometimes its better than other times, so not very consistent... I usually order the 1/2 mushroom 1/2 pepperoni pizza or cheese pizza. I like the little pepperonis! The pizza is thin crust and coal fired. You can order whole pizzas or pizzas by the slice. They also have combos you can get, like 2 slices and a soda. It's in a shopping center next to Menchie's which is a plus for me since I can get dessert right after. They have two benches inside which fit about 6-8 people each, so not a lot of seating area and they have a couple of little tables outside. Most people pick up I guess because I have never had a problem finding a seat when I want to eat there. It's pretty quick when you order. Pizza is ready in about 10-15 minutes which is also a plus if you just want to get a quick bite to eat and you are craving pizza.

  • Lina L.

NY style pizza is what I was looking for and this is what I got. They make the pie right in front of you too. Not greasy, not dry, just perfect. We ordered a half cheese, half Italian sausage extra large pizza and we're not disappointed. Delicious with the right amount of toppings. Will come again!

  • MickeyBlue I.

Not bad! it's affordable it's close. The pizza is thin style and the quality of the cheese is good. It's a quick in and out pizza spot. Their Tiramisu is good! I would eat their pizza again.

  • Daniel G.

Great place for a bite and go. Can get a great slice and a drink for a low rate and some tasty grub,. Perfect for when you don't want to buy a whole pie... but while you're there... Maybe just buy a whole pie as well haha! Also as a bonus... hit Menchies next door for a sweet bite to complete your meal.

Cute little place .. It was in the corner of my House so I was excited but the pre-made slices of pizza you can walk in and get we're really disappointing .. Super greasy , super thin , no tomato sauce because it get swallowed by the grease of the cheese ! So sad :(

    (1)
  • Juan H.

Get ready to pay about $30 a pizza, bread sticks suck. Not the best. Better option mikes pizza or amichis pizza

    (1)
  • Juan M.

Probably the best pizza in this section of Kendall. The location is pretty small with enough seating for about 12 people. It's quiet, so it's perfect for those nights out with the family. The garlic bread could use some work. Maybe, a little more cheese. Some of pizzas are slightly more greasy, but I consider that part of the pizza experience. It's still a lot better than anything a chain would give you. Finally, a lot of the employees are from the neighboring high school. I have nothing against young employees as a person who worked retail during my teens, but there have been times where the service is sub par. The other day I grabbed two slices to go and they only put them in the oven for about 10 seconds. The slices weren't even cooked all the way and I didn't notice until getting home. There's no excuse for rushing someone's order like that, unless they ask for it.

Best Hawaiian pizza in town!!! I just got a Party Size Pizza, it was the best pizza ever!!! Fresh, NY style, delishhhh!!! It's not cheap though, BUT worth every penny!!! :) Cannot wait to go again!!!

Good pizza with fresh ingredients. The place is also very clean which is not often the case in many places in miami. There's nothing worst that seeing the pizza maker also be the cashier. Juck!!! BUT not at Old World Pizza. I highly recommend it.

Found this place while visiting with my father in law in the hospital. It is a small place kept clean and neat. There are only large community tables to sit on. Service was quick and great. First we started off with their garlic bread- small - $6.00 - which as described on menu it comes out in the shape of a round pizza - thin crispy crust made with olive oil, fresh garlic and grated romano cheese and seasonings. It is not your usual garlic bread but it was really good. For the pizza we went with the Original Pizza Margarita - 14" Large - $11.99 - which was more than enough to share for us 3. This was also a delicious thin crispy crust made with fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce topped with romano cheese and fresh basil. It was delicious. Dough was cooked to a nice crunch... If you are a thin slice pizza lover, this is the pizza for you!!! Casual place. No fancy plates (paper actually) - no fuss. Only good food!

Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza nemesis?! I think so. Let me break it down for you. My boyfriend and I ordered from this place on a whim which made me a bit nervous since I didn't even know this place existed. + 1 star for service: whoever took my order was patient and friendly with me and so was the delivery guy + 1 star for delivery time: when they said they would be there in 35 minutes, they were + 1 star for pizza itself: definitely coal fired pizza with A LOT of toppings! I was a very happy camper + 1 star for tasty goodness: yes, because it was quite yummy! + 1 star for price: cheaper than Anthony's but just as many toppings - 0.5 star for size: though it's an awesome pizza, i ordered a large and the size looked like a medium. Not cool. -0.5 star for menu: though they have the basics, they don't have much else. Appetizers are salad and garlic bread (though the garlic bread is in the shape of a pizza...) _________________________________________________________________ TOTAL: 4 star kind of place

Prices are great. I get the personal small pizza. I love the mini pepperoni they use. I do agree that the large slices can be a little thin and greasy.

First time here... Feeling a little Italian and tired of all the poultry and meat lol... I'm not gonna lie, I didn't want to cook!!! Lol... When you walk in, you gan smell the mouthwatering ingredients from the entrance. You can tell this is not pizza hut... Nothing against them, but sometimes you crave some authentic Italian pizza with fresh and flavorful ingredients. The garlic bread I didn't really like, but the white pizza was amazing. Will definitely come back to try other toppings and the desserts... They have cannolis! :)

Loooooove this pizza, only wish they had garlic knots instead of a flatbread pizza for garlic bread... But the pizza is so AMAZING that it hardly matters..

This place is in an under-developed strip mall and it's the first place that has opened. I'm pretty sure this is hurting its business significantly. I can't wait for Menchies and Bonsai to open nearby When we came in, we were literally the only ones there. The inside is very cool. With two wooden communal tables and chalkboard walls. The guy behind the counter kindly explained the lunch special (2 slices of pizza and a soda for $5) or we could just share a pie, which is what we ended up doing because my high maintenance bf wanted a fresh pizza, LOL. (He's really not high-maintenance, only when it comes to pizza) We got a mushroom pizza to go and a small garlic bread. ($23) We watched as they rolled out the dough right in front of us and layed out all the ignredients. It was out within minutes! SOOO GOOD! The mushrooms are so fresh and thinly sliced, so they're nice and tender when they come out. The crust is also nicely charred on the bottom. I'll be back for the lunch special for sure!

I consider myself a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur. I've looked far and wide for the best pizza in town. While I'm a product of 20 years of Mike's Pizzeria in Kendall, this pizza has taken its reign. The quality is bar non. The fresh ingredients are superb. And the value is great. I can't sing enough of their praises. The only reason why I gave a 4 is because of the lack of garlic rolls. They have a garlic bread dish that's ok, but would like to see garlic rolls. That's my only issues. Other than that, it's fantastic!

  • Emilio F.

This place has a nice cozy new hole in the wall style, which is what I love. The pizza is good not great but good. Better than chained pizza places. Their garlic bread can improve perhaps less garlic a bit more cheese. I will come back again real soon. I dont like the "no refill" common guys everyone has free refills.

Has never failed to bring me an awesome pizza. They always say "your pizza will be done in 45 minutes" but it always comes in 30 minutes. Good job!

Pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff and Great pizza Fresh quality ingredients hand made with love and it shows. The thin hand tossed style crust had a nice texture. Done in a real brick oven 700 degrees! one negative could be that the Pies are on the small side , :( I'm leaving the last star open until I try their hot sandwiches. Maybe next time.

I really love this place, very cheap for great quality pizza. I do enjoy it more than Steve Pizza and I do think it has a better price range. Love the fact that they use olive oil for their pizzas it does change the taste and makes it a healthier/lighter of a choice. !

The best pizza on my side of town, maybe best pizza in Miami. All the ingredients are always super fresh. The pizza is never overly greasy and everything I've tried is delicious.

This guy has a great recipe. Nice thin crust. And they sell slices. Win win. Get the $5.50 special.

Pizza was thin with a crispy crust. Delicious! They have a special ~ 2 slices with a fountain drink for $5.50. What a deal! Coming back for sure!

Don't you hate that bloated sick feeling you get after eating pizza? It's a love/hate relationship. I love pizza but I hate feeling like sh*t the day after. This pizza is the solution for that. The ingredients are very fresh and delicious every time and the customer service is excellent.

  • Kristin Winkler S.

Excellent NY style pizza. Not much room to eat - two big picnic-style tables and a few outdoor ones, but nicely decorated with chalkboards on the walls for fun. Great spot!

well this ismy ninth time here and all i can say its awesome. people say they know where the best pizza is all the time. but i can tel you it depends on the place and Old World is the best in Miami, when it comes to this pizza style. i mean the dough the crust the ingredients and the friendly staff , all make it great. get it hot the smell will wake up zombies!! the sausege is well the best hands down and grat Margarita Pizza too. he has Canoli for fans and hummm so much more try it !

Really like their pizza, nice thin crust with quality ingredients. Nice $5.50 two slice and drink special thats not just limited to cheese slices. Limited seating but definitely worth getting the takeout. Really good pizza!

Definitely the best pizza in our part of town. Got those ny crusts and the right amount of greatness to it!!

  • Kristen M.

It's a really lowkey place but it has great pizza. they have a 5.50 special for two slices of pizza and a fountain drink. The only thing I don't like is the dollar per refill when the cups aren't even average sized. Other than that, nice spot

Good pizza!! Try it!! Best NY style pizza in town!

  • Matthew S.

The place could really use some music or a tv...but that's like the only thing. Everythjng else was amazing! Including the chalkboard walls. The pizza was very authentic and delicious. YAAAASS!

  • Jasmin M.

Really good pizza! Definitely reminded me of New York. It's a small place, nothing fancy at all. But the pizza is the real deal. Delisous.

They deliver and the pizza is fresh. We order all the time. We have had several of the pizza toppings but I always order a white pizza and a regular pizza with some topping. The service is quick and the ingredients are top notch.

  • Barbara M.

Great authentic pizza. 2 huge slices and a drink is $5. The canoli was probably one of the best ive ever had. The only thing I noticed was that there was no music and it was really quiet. The walls have chalkboard paint so you can draw on them which I thought was cute.

Simply the best pizza in this part of town!!!!! The wood oven gives this pizza a great taste. The ingredients are fresh and quality SUPERB
