I do not normally write reviews but my lunch was sooo good I thought locals needed to know about the gem at Mall of the Americas. It is like a fast food but not fast food quality. The place is clean and the staff is very pleasant. My niece and I had the mojito wrap with mariquitas and it was so tasty my niece barely spoke until she was done. If you are ever in the area stop in for lunch, very worth it.

Never mind that Mall of the Americas has become my favorite mall in Miami, this is stuff for a different review, but housed in the mall, is OTG. In our new quest to eat as healthy as possible, especially when eating out we found Off the Grille Bistro, lured in primarily by the suitable choices in their menu, we hadn't even read the other reviews about this place. A very generous, tasty, cooked to order grilled vegetable wrap we quite possible one of the best we have ever had. This is a testament to the chefs meticulous desire to get it right, he listened to our order, acknowledged and went to work, and the results were perfect ! Extra star for follow through, the chef stepped out from the behind the counter and solicited our feedback, again he listened , offered a few suggestions for our next visit and made us feel just a little bit extra special, which in addition to his wonderful cooking skills, make the place stand just above others. The options are quite diverse, and I am quite certain that there is something in their menu that will please and satisfy just about any request.

Pretty good for a bistro in a crappy mall. They have new dishes and special everytime i go. Grilled steak Churrasco with veggies and fried plantains (4/5) The steak charrasco med well was tender, a bit salty and good with the veggies. The plantains was kind of gross. Grilled tilapia with shrimp and salad (4/5) pretty good Grilled mojo chicken (4/5) very tender

Overall the food is ok the reason I give 3 stars is they need to change a couple of things...I ordered mariquitas and they came cold and soggy...I asked to change them and they gave me the same thing...the manager then explained to me that they only fry the margaritas 1 time a day in the morning...I was there at 2pm...they refused to fry more...this unacceptably, if you can't make fresh food...take it off the menu!!!

Tip: Phone first! Everything's cooked to order. I loved the mangu. A plate of fish, mangu, and grilled vegetables was $9.62. Always a treat!

I hate going to Mall of the Americas but Off the Grille Bistro makes it worth it. The healthiest lunch you can get in this part of town. A whole wheat wrap with zucchini, squash and mojo marinated chicken or Churrasco with brown rice and beans are just a few delicious meals they offer. Fast and healthy food is the best.

This place is always awesome. Yes the mall is kind of outdated, but that's part of the charm. It's always something new to see and hear. I come here to eat on a bi-weekly basis, sometimes more. Prices are unbeatable. I'll go where ever they go. The food is always banging! There really is no wrong thing to get here. Keepin' it healthy? They got something for lean grubbers or you can stuff your face. I got nothing but good things to say about that day shift staff too. They keep that place well. KEEP THE CREAMY SPINACH CHICKEN FOREVER! ;)

LOOOOOVE this place, who cares if I have to walk through a crappy mall to get there. My coworkers and I come here on our lunch break once in a while and I'm also guilty of picking it up to go. I always get the Mediterranean chicken wrap with the awesome mariquitas and pesto dipping sauce. They also have daily specials that look delicious but I never end up betraying my wrap. They have another location on Kendall but this one is wayyyyy better.

Fast, fresh, and tasty! The menu has a variety of meat, chicken and shrimp in various sauces that you can either have in a wrap or on a plate with homemade mashed potatoes or their famous mangu (mashed plantains). There are plenty of other tropical sides if those do not interest you: plantain chips, yuca, salad, grilled veggies and the obligatory rice and beans. OTG prides itself in serving fast AND fresh food. It's not fast food speed, but they make up for it with taste! Oh did I mention the location? It is off to the left of the main Mall of the Americas food court. Remember that mall from the 80s? It's still around and while it is not known or it's highest fashions, its food selections will surprise you! OTG has another location in west Kendall too.

Worst service... I was there at 6:41pm there was lady in the back cleaning who saw me standing and ignored me after a few minutes she acknowledged me to tell me she doesn't speak English and the grill is off that they are closing soon (store opens till 8:00pm) an hour and 15 min to close; therefore they only serving wraps.

Mall of the Americas is not a nice mall, as others have already mentioned. So as a location, this is a poor choice in my opinion. BUT, OTG still manages to shine despite its humble location. The attendant was very nice and professional, which is always welcome and a good sign for me. Menu is pretty simple, but varied enough to keep coming back to try new things. I had a churrasco with black beans, white rice, and mangu (mashed plantains). For $10 (including a drink), it is a good value for the amount of food you receive. The churrasco was a bit on the small side, and over cooked (asked medium and got well done). Regardless, it was tasty and all the sides were pretty good. I would give this 3.5 stars if I could, but because of the service I will bump to 4. The location and decor hurt this place for me, and overlooking steak was always against it. For an alternative to a quick real meal places like chicken kitchen, this definitely is a step up. Will come again for sure.

This place is the bomb.com . Yes it's definetly in the wrong location, being that mall of the Americas is kind of... Well you can be the judge of the mall. I've been to OTG several timers and they never dissapoint. Recommendation(s): Mediterranean chicken, churrasco, grilled vegetables, pesto wrap, mashed potatoes, pretty much everything on the menu is succulent ! They also always have specials. Prices are reasonable, not expensive. Hope you get a chance to go, prepare your taste buds for a delish ride :) P.s staff is nice as well

Minus 1 star for location. I got the fish, and there was a certain rush for this fish, it was absolutely amazing. Wraps are divine! The over all experience was great, and the place is clean. Total, Fish wrap and chips was about $9.00 including a drink.

The place sits in the middle of the mall of the Americas, it doesn't even sits at food court but on the left hand side of the food court. The name of the place is actually call OTG instead of stated on yelp. I ordered the fish mojo wrap, which comes with the banana chips for 8.75 dollars. The cashier has great energy and seems to love what he is doing. The fish is really popular here as I actually got the last serve of fish around 1pm. It is really busy and I waited about 15 mins for my wrap. The wrap is huge. Definitely much more fish than what you will expect for a 8 dollar fish wrap. Besides the fish, they also have zucchini wrapped in, which is an interesting choice as most wraps probably use lettuce. Good thing if zucchini is that it makes the wrap really juicy as the zucchini juice will come out when heated up, it is perfect for juicy meat lovers like me. Bad thing is also the zucchini, like there must be a reason for most others to choose lettuce instead of zucchinis, the combination is a bit odd and the strong flavor of zucchini somewhat overpowers the fish, and too much of the zucchini juice diluted the whole flavor and it taste a bit less seasoned. Worst thing is that, when I finished the first half, the second half of the wrap are completely soaked into the zucchini juice and the wrap is open on the bottom side. But all in all, it is a great lunch choice if you are around the mall. It is a great deal considering the size of the wrap and the fish. Overall grade: 75/100.

So before I go on to write just another average restaurant review with words like "good; bad; tasty; awful", I'd like to think I'm a more capable writer than that. What I could conjure up with words from my eating experience here would be this: If Pollo Tropical actually tasted like it smelled, it would be exactly like this place. With the same price and bigger portions. I step into the tiny space that houses this establishment and order their Chicken Eggplant accompanied with a house salad. After waiting an excruciating 4 minutes, the food finally arrived in a huge portion (I mean HUGE), and I set on with my knife and fork to explore this monstrosity. To make it short, their salad helped set the default. It had a great zing to it with seasoned tomatoes atop. The entree consisted of a white melted cheese above generous portions of savory chicken and vegetables, with the eggplant below that. I'm not a general fan of eggplant and I did think the eggplant took a bit off from the dish, but it played well with the rest of the plate. The chicken stole the show on this plate. Very juicy, well seasoned, well cooked... the works. Overall, I have to admit, I won't be going to this place avidly like I do with other joints, strictly because I'm not the biggest fan of these Caribbean and Hispanic flavors. It's really too zingy for my palette (hence the 4 stars), but If you like this type of food, I have little doubt this establishment will be getting rave reviews in the future.
