I flew cross-country from California and arrived at my downtown Miami hotel very late. While checking in, I saw the Ocean Beach delivery guy bringing food to my hotel at about 1:00am on a Saturday. Since I was starved, I went to my room, checked it out on Yelp and decided to order. I attempted to use their website but it didn't function properly (either via the web or via Yelp). I decided to call in my pizza order instead. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude. Yet, I persisted because of the limited food options in downtown Miami after midnight. Plus, others indicated that customer service was bad but the pizza was good. I ordered their small 4-cheese pizza ($13) and added pepperoni ($2 extra). After tax ($1) and their delivery charge ($4), my thirteen dollar pizza was $20! Interestingly, the receipt listed the delivery charge as $3 but it was scratched out and reflected $4. Hmmm. The pizza was barely baked all the way through. The pizza crust was doughy/chewy in an undercooked way. The 4 cheeses and pepperoni were actually tasty. Too bad about the crust. Forgot to mention that it was the same delivery guy from earlier. He was relatively nice as compared with his colleague on the phone. Yet, he disappointed me too because he had no napkins, no plates, no crushed red pepper and no parmesan cheese. Really? If you're delivering to a hotel, it's probably wise to carry these items. It just makes good business sense! I read other Yelp reviews, talking about how good the pizza was. Because those reviews seem to be after-club-drinking experiences, I have to respectfully dissent. I was fully sober, hungry and hopeful for delicious pizza. Bad service and barely average pizza were my experience. For the price and taste, it just makes sense to go with the chain pizza joints...sad to say. I've eaten real NY pizza in New York. This just ain't it.

We arrive at Ocean Pizza and Juice at around 2am after a night of partying for a girlfriend's birthday at Blackbird Ordinary (talk about convenient!) It was pretty full, which made me feel like everything was fresh since they have to keep restocking the pizzas. They had a wide variety: mushroom, specialty, pepporoni, 3 cheese, and Hawaiian, just to name a few. At almost $4 per slice, it is a little pricey for your every day pizza joint. However, the slices are quite large and thin. I thoroughly enjoyed my mushroom pizza, down to the crust (which I don't normally eat). I'd rather eat pizza here than order from dominos or Pizza Hut any day! The staff wasn't friendly by any means. It seems that is a common comment made by their customers. When the man at the register called my name to pick up my slice, I approached him only to be reprimanded for standing in the wrong area... It was my first visit, how am I supposed to know where my pizza is waiting? To top it off, when I ordered my second slice, I went to the correct area and he called me to pick my pizza up at the register instead. Lol. All in all, I'm really glad this place was open last night. Pizza is delicious no matter what!

Good pizza but horrible phone service for delivery Make wait and you can hear employees talking and laughing making jokes while you waiting more than 10 minutes and I got to hang up and call again and same thing happens!!

This is one of the first places I've eaten at since I've moved here from Chicago. They say pizza places in the midwest are mediocre...but the first impression I got from this Miami pizza place was NOT GOOD. Whoever handled answering the phones for deliveries on Sunday night September 7th should be fired. They delivered my oriental salad with balsamic vinaigrette--- and I understand mistakes happen. But when I called and said hey how are you, you guys gave me the wrong dressing, I expected them to say so sorry we'll bring back over the right dressing ASAP. Or at least give me a discount because I'd have to find my own dressing. But instead the guy says, "Oh so, sorry. Next time, okay?" and then hangs up on me! I'm freaking allergic to the dressing they gave me. What a terrible establishment. How can management condone such behavior!!! They have no idea how to do business in the restaurant/hospitality industry. So disappointed.

Idk where to start. Philly cheesesteak was terrible and its hard to mess that up. Garlic rolls weren't bad but I don't recommend going here. Its a step below mediocre. Hard to give a place any credit when they don't even try.

Not too bad. I can't say it's the best pizza I've ever eaten, however I've been a few times and will probably go back. Its right by my job so it's convenient and the price is very fair.

Pizza isn't in my diet. I come for the fresh pressed juice. 24 oz for 8 bucks ! Enjoy having the option to come here at midnight when I'm craving a tall, cucumber, spinach, carrot, ginger, parsley juice.

Came to Florida for the weekend with my family and we were all starving and saw this place on the way to our hotel so we decided to stop by and eat here. A bit pricey seeing that it's a hole in the wall, and not really good and I usually love new York style pizza. However, we were all starving and didn't have many options because we were limited on time. This seems like a late night place to come check out, when you're drunk and everything seems to taste good.

Very mediocre pizza at $3.75 a slice for cheese, Miami doesn't have great pizza, but this place is low on the totem pole

Stopped at Ocean Pizza around 6pm to pick up some slices to bring home. Stood at the counter for about 5 minutes but none of the 3 employees even acknowledged I was there. No one spoke to me or even greeted me. So I got back in my car and drove around the block to Pizza Rustica where I was greeted when I walked in and waited on immediately - got some great pizza too...

The pizza is decent here but the service is sloppy and pretty crappy, at least for the late night staff (don't know if there's a change in staff). The last time I went, they ran out of pizza! So it's decent when they do have enough pizza to serve you, but I'd avoid this place unless you have those late night munchies and aren't in the mood for la sandwicherie or la moon. The pizza and varieties are better than power pizzeria any day. Nino's downtown is my favorite cheapsy New York style pizza so far. Just wish they were open late on the weekends.

This is your classic drunk night pizza. Nothing more, nothing less. They don't try too hard to excel, and that's fine. The service is ok for the most part, not too interested or excited to see you, but quick and easy painless last stop. The pizza? Thin, greasy and very cheesy goodness. Its an easy cheap fix for late nights, and its better than little caesars, so its a pass on my end.

Ahhhhhh nothing better than a cheesy, seabreeze delight... This is a popular spot to grab a bite after a late-night hangout. Rolled through here with some friends around 12:30. The giant gourmet pizza slices are fresh and constantly restocked. They have to give each slice on two paper plates. The gentlemen here are much friendlier than I expected and will offer to reheat your order in the oven if you like it piping hot. Really quenched my appetite. Oven-toasted crunch with perfect cheese melt made placing a second order a no-brainer. Excellent variety of options: BBQ chicken, Hawaiin, Meatlovers, cheese, etc. Had blast here! The pizza is ok- definitely needs pepper or its a bit bland. I'm super dissociated in the salad though. I got a Miami salad without the meat (don't eat turkey or ham). There are no veggie salads on the menu but all I got was a TON of croutons, spinach and rotting tomato slices. And a medium pizza and salad was $30???? It's a first and a last for me.

We are here from California and staying about a half mile from Ocean Pizza. Our hotel recommended this place so we thought what the heck. We placed an order and were told to expect it 30-40 minutes later. 50 minutes later we called...and were quickly hung up on. 65 minutes later we called and were told the driver was in the parking lot, and then we were hung up on. Over an hour and 15 minutes later we are still waiting for delivery about a half a mile away. When we finally got out food the pizza was average and the garlic rolls were undercooked.

I was enticed in coming to this restaurant with the expectation of New York pizza. Upon requesting 2 large pizzas and being willing to wait for them, we were informed that whole pies would not be sold at this location. Instead we waited for individual slices which totaled over $5 each. Not only were these slices overpriced but they tasted not even remotely like New York style pizza. After ordering we were subjected to interrogation in order to obtain the 2 slices of pizza that cost nearly $12. In summary this experience was not at all positive and I would not recommend this pizzeria in the future.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I order from this place regularly and I like it. The pizza is ny style and the garlic roles are the best.
