This is a wonderful and authentic Chinese restaurant. We get delivery from here to a friend's house in Brickell Key once a week. I am a vegetarian and all of the dishes I have gotten are great! My boyfriend always orders General Tso's Chicken when we eat Chinese and he said that theirs is the best he has ever had. I was very excited to find that they had General Tofu for me to try, which was delicious. Tonight they called back to confirm the dish that I ordered was what I wanted since they knew that my friend, who is a regular, would have preferred a different sauce if it was his entree. That is the best customer service that I have experienced from a restaurant in a long time!

There are not many Chinese restaurants in this area, and New Canton is basic Chinese food for the most part. The wonton soup was good and the chicken and vegetables was fresh and not salty, which can be the case with some restaurants. The prices are great, and the selection of available dishes is varied.

As far as Chinese delivery goes, New Canton gets the job done. Our order arrived in a timely fashion, and everything we ordered tasted good. I would like to see some tofu options on the menu, but plenty of veggie options regardless.

I'm checking in but my order is being delivered. They deliver rather quickly might I add. The place is decent nothing fancy but very clean the food is always fresh and delicious. Most importantly they are so nice great service I don't order from anywhere else love this little place. It all adds up to 5 stars for me!

I been ordering from this place for about 3 years. Never disappoints! Food is hot, delissshhh, delivery is fast and the owners and staff are very nice. Their prices are also not too shabby! I definitely recommend them if you are in the mood for some Chinese.

This was the worst Chinese food I have ever had in Miami. I ordered meat wontons, 2 egg rolls, general tso chicken and special fried rice. The meat in the wontons tasted like cardboard, the egg rolls were fried in old, over used, saturated fat... Yuck. The rice was not special at all, and the chicken was just frozen pieces of chicken in a sweet sauce, it didn't taste like gen tso chicken at all.... horrible.

The lady taking the order was either ignorant or plain dumb. I tried placing an order for delivery. I'm less than 2 miles away and she says "we don't go there" 2 miles away, really? When I told her that I got the menu from a neighbor half a block from me she just hung up. Typical.

Deceiving is the best way I can describe this little hole in the wall in this neighborhood. The food is great ,and the prices are cheap! , mom & pop authentic Cantonese fare, great for take out .

The food is great, the restaurant could use a renovation, but the food is amazing and that's all the matters.

Sorry, but I can't give more than two stars. It's cheap, portions are huge, and they were very nice but the food just had no flavor. I ordered beef with broccoli and it was just not up to snuff. It came with an eggroll, wonton soup and fried rice for $8.50 but only the soup was decent. Definitely not an eat-in place because when I walked in to pick up there was a 3' x 3' playpen with baby...behind the counter. A little alarming I must say. All that combined, I don't think I will be returning.

Cheap Great food. My hubby and i wanted to trt something new. Out of my comfort zone but it was worth it. THe best was the steamed dumplings! My hubby enjoyed the special fried rice. We will add this to one of our regulars. The fried wontons were good. We shared a meal ordered two appetizer and two drinks All under $25.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
