Great cuban sandwich. Best value i've found in the "airport area". Friendly staff and comfortable family atmosphere. I'll be a regular.

The male manager who's there during late hours is very rude and unpleasant. I'm a regular alongside my best friend because our mothers both worked there in the past and we have never seen such a rude, inept, sorry excuse for a manager. I won't be coming back after he made it clear we "always have an issue" no sir, the issue is YOU and the cooks who keep BURNING my pizza! Thanks for nothing. Won't be coming back. And tell the blonde server I asked Osmani Garcia to give $20 to I said hello.

This place has been the worse restaurant I've ever been too! I give one star because i have to press it to be able to write review ! The waiter had an attitude all the time horrible horrible customer service , the food was extremely cold! I asked to re heat it and came back the same way! I will never come back again! Polo Norte restaurant is wayyyy better ! NEVER go to this restaurant if you have to have a pleasant time and good food

Eat here often. Good food, pretty clean place. Service is very slow. Have to call for attention several times before someone shows up to your table.

Terrible customer service. The personnel in general is rude and lazy. The waitress took forever to come to our table, and once she did, she looked like she had been smashed by a truck. She didn't smile nor she did greet us like she should do with customers. If she doesn't feel like working in customer service, she is better off somewhere else; maybe she should consider cleaning toilets or working for the waste management department (I bet she would do great there). The funny thing is that it wasn't only our waitress, but everybody in the place looked like slaves or prisoners in a shitty place they don't want to be (but again who wants to work in a place like this; pay must be terrible as well). On top of the hostile atmosphere, the waitress messed up with the order and brought me spaghetti instead of pizza. I believe there is a big difference between both words' pronunciation. Maybe she was hearing impaired or she has a small brain; either way she messed up, which wouldn't be so bad if she had not taken an attitude with me and argued that I had said spaghetti instead of pizza. And then she showed me her pathetic note pad like if what she had written there could make a difference (the irrefutable proof was on the notepad!!) Come on lady, what you wrote is irrelevant because I know what I said even though you still got it wrong and wrote something that was never meant to be. I finally got my pizza, which by the way was brought by another waitress. The first waitress did not come to our table anymore (I was glad for this). The pizza was not well cooked and it tasted like something out of a sewer. The whole meal wasn't worth 20 bucks, which is what I was charged. I'm never coming back to this place. They should shut it down; it is a waste of place in the city. It would be better to put a whores' club in this place; that would be a more effective use of space and maybe they could hire the waitresses in Monte de Oca; they would do great there.

Hands down best Cuban pizza and spaghetti in all of Miami! Let's not get started on the crema de queso and the garlic rolls! I've been coming here my whole life and this place beats Rey's pizza and Polo Norte any day! The portions are huge and you could easily split a plate of Spaghetti for two people!

Montes de Oca makes "Cuban Style" pizza. This simply means, either you hate it or you love it. "Cuban Style" style pizza has little sauce, a lot of cheese & and its about 3/4 of an inch thick. Their personal pizza which is the most popular, goes for about 5-6 dollars and its 9-10 inches in diameter. The place is a dump, but the pizza is worth a try. I'm a fan. 4 estrellas!

I was staying at a hotel nearby and looking for some Italian close by. Not exactly Italian with 16 Cuban pizzas, 5 spaghettis & a lasagna but my fellow Yelpers convinced me to give it a try. Fairly dumpy place but hey, some of the best food anywhere is served from sorta dumpy places. Servers do only speak Spanish but hey..,, I ordered the lasagna to go ($8.10 w/ tax) and waited less than 10 minutes. Lasagna was serviceable at best. Sorta wierd bread-crumby meat mixture, tons of cheese and almost no sauce. Perhaps that's the Cuban version. Can't say I recommend the place but maybe try the pizza?

I remember when i went to this place with someone i went out with back in 2007. we came from the movie theater down the street. the time was a few minutes past midnight and nothing was open so we decided to eat here. we were seated in the back and were given menus. 10 minutes later a group of 5 hispanics (sorry, don't know what else to say) came in and immediately they were being serviced. it took about 20 minutes for a waitress to come up to us and ask what we wanted to drink. by the time we got our beverage, the group was already out the door. it took an hour in total for someone to tend to us and asked what we wanted to order. as soon as we ordered, another group came in and were immediately serviced. and out the door in 30 minutes later. by that time was when we had finally gotten our food. we didn't get out of that place til 2:00 A.M. never again did i go back because of that. don't get me wrong, the food was great. i had their pizza. and mamey shakes. it was just that the service that was horrible. i am not pulling any race cards but i think that was the case why we weren't properly serviced. like i said i am sorry for posting that last part.

A one star because unfortunately I could not give it zero. By far the worst experience I've had while out eating in the time I could remember. Asked to have my extra burnt, extra oily pizza exchanged for something else, waitress called the manager, who then called the owner, who then walked over and said..."what do you want?" I simply requested something else. He flat out said no, because the pizza wasn't missing any ingredients and I had to pay for it. Save your money, drive by it as it if wasn't even there.

By far the worst experience I've had out eating in a very long time. Service is horrible, the owner himself Mr. Monte de Oca has absolutely no business experience, as he turns clients away, and is rude to clients when they ask for an exchange of food. Witnessed him turn away a group of young guys who walked in for service, and later heard him and his wife talking about the gay guys who thought they would be eating there but he turned them away. Restaurant is dirty, and reeks of moist and dirty towels. Save your money and go else where. If you are feeling pizza, try real authentic cuban pizza from Polo Norte or Reys Pizza. MANAGEMENT AND OWNERS ARE SO POOR AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT, ITS A DISGRACE THEY ALLOW THESE PEOPLE TO RUN A RESTAURANT.

OK.. I must admit one of the stars comes from this being the first restaurant my "Papi Gordo' took me too.. **SIGH** Staring across the table at him while Shakira (or another one with hips and hair) swivels on 'El televisor'... The second star from the cheese on the spaghetti! LOL I've been there twice now and the spaghetti is second hand decent.. I'm from a Caribbean family where bell peppers and onions can go in almost anything.. So it was kind of bland, but the MOUNTAINS of cheese on the noodles made up for the flavor and the microscopic pieces of meat. The third star is for their GARLIC ROLLS!!! After two of these, I'm killing vampires with a burp! OMG They are divine! Freshly made so they're soft, buttery and garlicky good! Just remembering it makes me give them an extra half star! I would suggest you go just to have (from what I was told) some 'Cuban' Spaghetti, but if you go, make sure you take a someone who speaks Spanish or be prepared to mime and play taboo all night!

Where to begin, we saw a waitress drop a piece of bread on the floor and pick it up and put it back on the table, absolutely disgusting!!! The worst place in a Miami. The silver wear is dirty. The water had little brown stuff inside, we asked the waitress to bring out the spaghetti and the pizza together and she brought the spaghetti and said the pizza would be right out. We finished the spaghetti and the pizza had yet to arrive. The shakes taste almost like juice. I will never come back to this place again.

I used to come to Montes de Oca all the time when I was younger and I loved it. This week, my boyfriend was craving Rey's Pizza really badly. I tried to convince him to not go (I had a bad experience last time I went to Rey's) and that turned into pleading. He would not budge, so instead I suggested Montes. It really is the same thing, only better. I started off with the crema de queso, which is probably the best thing on their menu. I loved it; it was just as delicious as I remember it from a couple years back. My boyfriend thought it was okay, but he's not a "soup person". Boyfriend ordered cheese pizza and I ordered the baby version of it. And we ordered garlic rolls. For $2 you get 10 garlic rolls. Not bad. Pizza was good. Don't come here expecting thin-crust authentic Italian. This is Cuban Pizza; it is what it is. Service wasn't terrible. But then again, I wasn't expecting great service from this place. The servers are nice but they had us waiting for a while for our check. Best thing about this place is that it's open 24 hours and the best time to get some Cuban pizza happens to be at 3 am. Overall, I enjoy this food. You get what you pay for. I probably won't spend my money here anytime too soon but if I'm hungry on a late night and driving by 7th street, this is probably where you'd find me.

some dumps have great food, this one doesn't. needless to say, i'm not a fan of Cuban pizza- it's thick, bland & not worth remembering. the spaghetti tastes like the one you make at home, if not worse. save your money & go somewhere else.

I honestly can say I like eating there! But the staff tends to only speak Spanish. It's good to have lunch or dinner. There are some--I believe all--are opened 24 hours! So you can have this on your way back from a club or some night life event.

I must admit, I used to be a big fan of this place. It used to be the spot for late night grub and satisfied the munchies. I would frequent this place so much that I can actually say I've tried everything on their menu. I have a strong stomach and can handle just about anything (if you know what I mean). I have been MIA from this place for some time now all because of their menu. It just doesn't change. The same pizza and sandwiches all around the century clock.
