Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Shady area but decent Chinese. The schezuan beef was decent...not quit NY style but not much in Miami is. I would go back if I had craving or needed delivery. The hunt for amazing Chinese still continues :/

OK, there's an issue with this place. The food, for a take-out/delivery place, is GREAT. You might even find that the qualifier "for a take-out/delivery place" isn't needed. You get crazy portions, tasty food, and you really can't beat the prices. The problem? It's hard to deliver to customers IF YOU NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE. I've been trying to order from Ming Yuan for about THREE WEEKS now. The menu, it's just sitting there in a drawer. On top of other menus. And it's the first one I always grab because I'm a freaking masochist. And I call one number. And then I call the other. And I call. And I call. And I call. And nothing. I've been craving food from this place for so long. They must really not want my money. Was it something I said? Was it something I did? Do I smell bad? Please tell me. You can't just walk away without a single word uttered... Can you?

AMAZING AMAZINGGGGG Chinese food. TERRIBLE and I repeat TERRIBLE service. I called and made an order for delivery and the lady over the phone spoke very little English, mostly Spanish. I kept explaining I wanted NO shrimp in my rice, and she keeps asking, "RIBS in your rice???" I promise it took me a good minute to finally explain I wanted no shrimp. My family and I always order food from here and it's always been delicious. If you can put up with some bad costumer service, the food is definitely worth it.

So if I had just ordered for delivery I would have given 4-5 stars. This is some of the best Chinese food delivery I've had in miami. Also, extra points for offering all meals in regular and large sizes. Sometimes I don't want to compromise on my Chinese food, but those large meals could feed any regular sized adult for a week. Unfortunately I went to go pick this up, and had to park across the street to avoid the homeless man around the corner who wasn't wearing any pants. Inside the place barely looked cleaner than the aforementioned homeless man, and the people hanging around left a lot to be desired too. So if you're looking to order Chinese food in this neighborhood this is for delivery ONLY. If you have it delivered I almost guarantee you'll be satisfied. And if you go pick it up I almost guarantee you'll lose your appetite.

Great food great price and very nice portions sizes only down side was that today at 3:02 they wanted to charge me for dinner price on one of my meals and not lunch its only like 2 bucks difference and the only reason I wanted the lunch was my son is small and we would not eat the dinner the manager after me having to explain that she complied but if it's my business and lunch end at 3 and its 3:02 I bend a little just saying lol good food though

Food is yum! Delivery is SUPER quick. Portion size... G I G A N T I C . Delivery guy was really friendly and honest. We accidentally gave him a $50 and he came right back after noticing. (I totally would have never known otherwise). Only one (irrational) complaint, my food is always PIPING HOT... Geez, how annoying!!! Hehehe. Totally recommend trying it out!!!!

I've searched high and low for a good Chinese restaurant in Miami and after seeing the reviews decided to try this place. I can honestly say,I found the perfect one. The food is well prepared, greasy and delicious. Their House Special Fried Rice is superb and had so much meat in it. The soups are tasty and filling. The chicken was tender and full of flavor and the delivery time was excellent. I'd easily pay twice as much or more for the food, but thankfully, it is also extremely inexpensive. If you plan on ordering in and enjoying a quiet night, make the call to this place. You won't be disappointed.

Holy cow they are fast! granted I work down the street from them, but regardless they delivered in maybe 10minutes! the honey garlic chicken is crispy and not too breaded. The fried rice is not the best I've ever had but certainly by no means bad fried rice. Would definitely reorder

Your regular chinese restaurant. Not bad, but not great but it serves the purpose: to satisfy that crave for chinese food. :)

It's greasy, it's ghetto, it's Chinese... sort of. For $5.25, you'll walk away with a plethora of oleaginous, Fried Chicken wings and Fried rice (I hear they keep left overs) -- plus a fortune cookie to keep up the hope in one day winning the lottery. Go ahead and spoil your digestion at Ming Yuan.

Best bang for your buck. I am from the northeast and have a very selective palate when it comes to good greasy takeout chinese. I have to say, the only thing on the menu I wouldnt order again were the dumplings, but only because the wonton wrappers were thick. BUT everything else is amazing.

Close (for me), inexpensive, quantity. But not quality, also sweet and sour chicken comes with ONLY chicken, etc. (in red color)... not a healthy option. I will go back when I crave for oily unhealthy Chinese... but I have lowered the expectations. The service is not that great either.

For Delivery I give 4 stars, hands down. But the location leaves EVERYTHING to be desired. Please don't try to come eat here. Now about the takeout... The food comes in regular and large portions but the regular is plenty. The prices are phenomenal and it actually tastes great. The one thing that usually stops me from ordering Chinese is that it almost always costs $30 to get some mediocre Fried Rice, Szechuan Beef and some Sweet n Sour Chicken Nuggets. But here I was shocked and super satisfied with my order, unlike most Chinese places in the area. This is the takeout movie equivalent of Sandra Bullock or Carrie Bradshaw ordering too much NYC Chinese and I love it. Just don't ever step foot inside the location as it is a f mess.

The food here is pretty average and this place is in a pretty sketchy little section of the city. I bumped it up to 4 stars though because it is on par with the other Chinese places I have had in the area at about half the price and double the portions. In other words, if you are going to get kind of standard Chinese take out around the area, it would make sense to get it here and get twice the food for half the price as some of its competitors. Just don't expect anything overly amazing.

I once raved about this place. So when my family came in town and said they wanted Chinese I said I had the perfect place. We all got different dishes and we all go sick after eating them. I thought to myself maybe its a coincidence If one or even two ppl got sick but it was their first day in town and all but one of us got sick. I don't like to push my luck so I'm staying away from this place :/

We ordered sweet and sour chicken and chicken lo mein. The delivery time blew my mind, then I blew up in my bathroom 30 minutes later, The sweet and sour "chicken's" breading was softer than my explosive diarrhea. The noodles, soft and greasy. Basically I got what I paid for - the total was $14 and a stomach ache. So I'm here to tell you this place is super inexpensive, extremely fast delivery but the food was of terrible quality. I usually don't post reviews. I tried to create an account on yelp. It said I already had one and that they had sent me an email to reset my password. I checked my email. I clicked the link and made a new password, I tried logging in and it said I needs to confirm the email sent when the account was first created. I hit resend email. Checked my email again and finally started being able to post a review. I went through that mini mission to post this review. Mainly because I saw how many people gave this place 4 or 5 stars. Really?

For chinese delivery, this reminds me of my old NYC haunts. Food is simple, good, and cheap. Don't expect anything fancy, the singapore rice noodles and dumplings are delicious. Def becoming a regular here

Good Chinese!! Cheap, good portions, greasy and tasty. They deliver all the way to downtown++ Although, my stomach is starting to rumble. oh oh! :) egg rolls are huge!

No change. The lady who picked up the phone on 4/26/2014 4:50pm is a bitch! She is very rude and she needs serious customer services skills training.

I decided to try this place after being disappointed with the previous mediocre Chinese restaurant near my area, Sun Inn, which had plenty of code violations for rats and other vermin and eventually shut down. I had a menu for Ming Yuan placed in my mailbox and figured I'd give them a try, if they were even willing to deliver to my location. Luckily, they did. Their vegetable soup is packed with veggies, and their Szechuan dishes are always full of veggies, and with a reasonable amount of hot pepper, although I always ask for more hot pepper. Their prices are also unbeatable. I have never eaten here, I always order delivery so I have no idea what the locale looks like, but I am hooked on their tasty, big portions loaded with crisp veggies. I order once a week pretty much and the driver already knows me. My other "back up" place if this place is closed (they close at 9 unfortunately) is Yeung's on 41st and Alton, which is also delicious albeit a bit pricier compared to Ming Yuan...

Really good chinese; not too greasy, not cheap on the amount of food and at a reasonable price.

Best bang for your buck greasy cheap Chinese food. They do really pack those boxes, plenty of veggies, great tasting pork fried rice and their chicken and beef are great too. Their special lo-mein is my personal favorite, great stuff. Also General Tso's chicken or Schezuan. Bottom line is this place is great for either pickup or delivery, but you do not want to eat here. It is in a not-so-nice part of town (NE 2nd ave) and to be honest, their place is very beat up and dirty. Also not many tables to sit in and eat and there is always loud latin people yelling in the kitchen and at the counter. Overall has great fast chinese food and great prices. Just make sure to pickup.

They closed Sun Inn and turned it into a peruvian restaurant. I had been looking for a new chinese food place that delivered downtown. I stumbled on Ming Yaun through some google search. They are nearby and I called a few minutes past 9pm, the lady told me they were closed. After she heard my disappointment, she asked what it was I wanted, I told her and she said she'd have it made for me and delivered. Score! The food came in less than 20 minutes. The pork fried rice was awesome and packed with pork, lots of pork. The general Sao chicken she asked if I wanted if hot, and it certainly was (: The eggrolls could use some work, but I was so happy with my food. Everyone downtown needs to make this their delivery place. the price is reasonable, the food was really delicious and I don't want to lose another chinese place.

Best greasy "Chinese" food you can get downtown. So cheap and disgusting and perfect. Their pupu platter is the ultimate budget dinner for two.
